About Tami-Adrian George: Tami is the founder of Tami's Take On…Pilates. Rehab. Nutrition. It's Tami George's passion to help people do the things they love…better and without pain! Tami's many years as a dancer and busy working actor & model (Starship Troopers, In The House, General Hospital, 50+ National Commercials) meant she needed to be in peak physical condition. Since her initial Pilates certification more than 30 years ago, she's had the opportunities to learn from Master Level Pilates Instructors, trained under top Physical Therapists, and incorporated my many fields of study to help her clients achieve their fitness goals. She's worked with everyone from CEOs to nationally-competing athletes, from weekend warriors to fitness fraidy-cats, from little kids to grandparents. Tami-Adrian says it's about so much more than dieting and exercises…It's about laughing, learning and celebrating! Let's talk about taking back our fitness! What We Discuss in this Episode: We all have that voice in our heads that's chittering away non-stop. What is yours saying? Is it even your voice? And, if not, who let them in? After encountering so many clients who based their fitness & wellness goals on what other people had to say about them, she developed an easy to use system for filtering out all the “shoulds” and zeroing in on all the “Heck Yeahs!” Real fitness is not about what your weight. Why in the world do we talk to ourselves in such damaging ways? Why can't people seem to stay motivated? We start off all gangbusters, then fizzle out. In all your years as a performer, what were you most surprised to find out about how your peers were staying camera ready? What's the difference between Body Positive and True Fitness? How does one set fitness goals they can actually reach? How do we change that negative voice in our head? Anahi Bustillos was born in the bordertown of El Paso, Texas. She moved to Los Angeles as soon as she gratuated highschool to get the hell out of Texas, find a place where she felt more at peace and (drum roll) to pursue her dreams of acting. After nearly a decade of sitting in traffic, waitressing and becoming comfortable in her own skin she began booking on a regular basis and was a bonafide "working actress". She has booked numerous roles on Primetime including: NCIS LA, NCIS, SWAT, Bosch, Little Fires Everywhere, Insecure, How to Get Away with Murder and over 30 National Commercials. In 2021, she went on an unplanned 6mth Odyssey in which she brokedown the framework of the life she had lovingly constructed through years of relentless hard work and crying an ocean of tears. And at the ripe age of 39 she has decided to shut the door on acting to pursue the one thing her intuition has been firmly advising her to focus on for the last 20 years. To sing the words and melodies that she has kept to private for no other reason then fear it self. "I dont want to pretend to be other people as a profession right now or ever again. I feel my power lies in speaking my own words and sharing my own stories while giving myself the opportunity to fully express my creative well that has to be expressed. The music in this moment is to save my own life."You can find her at home, in her 1930s kelly-green mohair chair, working through a new creative process while breathing through self-sabatoge in order to reach the level of unwavering selflove. Her first record will be a Battle Cry.Anahi would also like to add that every single human has a story worth hearing.

From New York bands to the University of Miami and back. Working through the tech boom of the late nineties to support a growing music career. Trying to get signed to the German label Studio K7 producing Trip Hop, Drum & Bass, Jungle and experimental Hip Hop. Getting referred to the sales division of OM records. Building the relationship with OM over a period of a year to getting signed as MING & FS. Being a "student of the game" and going out on "The Deep Concentration" tour with OM. Subsequently getting signed for a three-record deal with OM records all while playing in a rock band and making electronic music under the name Beat Tree. Working full time to fund the music career. Going out every night to make connections and network. Getting signed for the "weird" electronic music but not what MING & FS thought would be a major label deal with Beat Tree. Rewiring & re-eq'ing sound systems to make them sound right when on tour. Music business is 90% failure. Understanding the concept of failing forward and never giving up. Ten year run with Ming & FS, disbanding in 2006. Being in a Nissan commercial creating the music from car sounds to fund the tour. Going on tour while filming the Nissan spot that ran through the Superbowl and joining the screen actors guild. Creating Habitat music production company to create original scores for commercials until the bubble burst in music licensing. Making money from multiple streams and shifting with the times. Learning from the mistake of overselling. The numbers of self pressing and why vinyl is never really coming back. Using any merch that doesn't sell for promo. Throwing huge parties and promoting to the Mavens to create the right word of mouth buzz. Making mix CD's to give away at every show and getting them sponsored by clothing brands to building a significant production business for touring artists. Struggling to get back on tour as a DJ post Ming & FS but building such a strong production business producing that when Covid hit it brought into focus that the work was coming in steadily. Commercial work, scoring and producing keeping all the irons hot. Getting nominated for a Grammy for a remix but not seeing any upside and crickets the next year. The Grammy bump is for major label "1 percenter's". Studio design and working with singers right in the room without headphones. Preparing the room to work with different singers. Comedian/Actor/Writer Wayne Federman is my favorite comic, and he's just put out his debut comedy album, The Chronicles of Federman. A box set of three CDs (also available digitally) that spans his 30 plus years of unique, killer stand-up. Judd Apatow, who writes the liner notes, says "Epic, hilarious, inspired and whimsical." And Mr. Apatow goes on and on. Oh, and I must reveal, Wayne is also my best pal. Wayne has acted in dozens of national commercials, with a proportionate amount of them being odd costumed characters. Regardless, Wayne shares his secrets on how he approaches his auditions and gets booked time and time again. We also chat about how he constructed and edited "Chronicles" himself, so plenty of tech talk here. Click here to check out his Geico spot playing poker with Kenny Rogers. I've posted a Toyota spot we did together at jordanbrady.com and you can see tons of Federman in "I Am Road Comic". Be sure to catch him on late night TV real soon. Ya' know he was the head writer for Jimmy Fallon, so figure it out. My next Commercial Directing Bootcamp will be in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 - so sign up for Commercial Directing Bootcamp today! Read the reviews on this site. Pretty flattering. #blush. thanks, Jordan This episode is 80 minutes, give or take, of our banter. Please like the show on iTune
