This one was less calls, less premises. It's because "do you love your customers" seems to make people want to talk to you for a very long time. And the hotel front desk lady who was freaking out just because I said I had drugs. Jeeze lady, it's a cheap hotel. There's drugs. Get over it. So; Customer Love, and a pair of long Making Friends calls are the main contributions to the show, with a great Employee/Employer call, hissing buns, gas size, and gas return with wasted. i know thats a terrible description, but it's mostly a bunch of really long "do you love your customer" calls and they're all great. Enjoy I hope. NO SHOW NEXT FRIDAY NOV 5th because (so far) the only time I cancel a CORNDOWN is due to a MEETUP (which is the opposite of a corndown, obviously) which I'll be doing in Wisconsin so come hear the sound of my voice there i guess if you really need to. rogueserver.com has links.
In this episode, host Brian VanHooker welcomes back Townsend Coleman, the voice of Michelangelo in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. Townsend recalls getting started in show business and what the inspiration was behind voices like The Tick, Waldo and, of course, Mikey. Sound Engineering by Ian Williams
Voice-actor, Townsend Coleman is perhaps one of the most recognizable voices on TV. For 16 years, he was the voice of NBC's "Must See TV" and "Comedy Night Done Right" primetime comedy promos, including hits from Seinfeld and Frasier to 30 Rock and The Office, as well as the promos for "The Tonight Show" starring Jay Leno (then Conan), "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (then Jimmy Fallon), "Last Call with Carson Daly" and "Saturday Night Live". He currently voices the daily on-air promos for the long-running "Live with Kelly and Michael" and radio spots for "Judge Judy", in addition to regularly voicing primetime promos for ABC Family, The Hub, and now, ABC-TV. But the character behind the voice really came to life in 1985, when Coleman, having just moved to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio, auditioned for and got a part on the animated hit, "Inspector Gadget". As the voice of Corporal Capeman, Gadget's bumbling assistant, he embarked on an entirely new career, providing the voices for some of the most memorable characters in cartoons and commercials. In addition to thwarting evil as the voice of "The Tick", Fox Kids' hit animated series, he has provided the voices for many popular cartoon characters, including Michaelangelo, Rat King, and Usagi Yojimbo on the original, long-running cartoon series, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". He also voiced Waldo on "Where's Waldo?", Gobo, Architect, and Wrench on NBC's animated "Fraggle Rock", Scott/Teen Wolf on "Teen Wolf", Scratch on "Spacecats", the voice of Wayne Gretzky on "Prostars", Riot on "Jem and the Holograms", Dragonflyer on "Glofriends", Rewind on the 80's "Transformers", and 20 years later, Sentinel Prime on "Transformers: Animated" for Cartoon Network, Neddy the Mallet on "Mighty Magiswords" for Nickelodeon, and the voice of Jason Whittaker on Focus on the Family's popular radio drama, "Adventures In Odyssey" Follow Townsend here : https://twitter.com/IBTALKN https://www.instagram.com/ibtalkn https://www.facebook.com/townsendcoleman/

In this episode you will hear the voice of Michael Dunahee himself. Michael's parents Bruce & Crystal Dunahee shared home video with Producer Laura Palmer. Felicia Bernier was one of Michael's little chums. She describes her friend Michael through the lens of a childhood playmate. She talks about his love of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And how losing her buddy in such tragic circumstances impacted her life. Bruce and Crystal Dunahee reflect on their life as a family before Michael vanishes. Michael's parents talk about Michael's childhood and what kind of a little guy he is growing into. They are interviewed separately and together to capture as much detail as possible about the day Michael disappears and their specific recollections of the event. Author Valerie Green wrote the book on Michael Dunahee's case. It's called 'Vanished: The Michael Dunahee story'. Valerie mostly writes local history books. And true crime represents something of a departure for her. But Michael's disappearance in 1991, is a big part of the story of Victoria. Townsend Coleman is the voice of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 'Michaelangelo', one of Michael's heroes. At the end of each episode Townsend is lending his voice to a plea for information on Michael's case.

After that, we have the absolutely splendiferous Townsend Coleman joining us for a spot of chat about acting, voice acting, how he became TMNT's Michelangelo and the impact of his work. Barry & I tried to stay cool but you try not dissolving into a fan-mess when The Tick starts chatting to you! It's just not possible! SPOOOOOOOON! Episode Theme - 'Scarface (Push It To The Limit)' by Paul Engemann End Theme - 'The Glow' by Willie Hutch JustGiving Donation Link (the page is still open!): www.justgiving.com/spcplive3 Timings: 00:00:00: Luke Moore, 01:02:03: Townsend Coleman Disclaimer: The SPCP Live 3 episodes will be mostly unedited. This means they will be put out as close to their live versions as possible, including (but not limited to); audio delays and the resultant accidentally-talking-over-each-other, bodily function noises (aka the World's Loudest Sneezes), slightly-too-long sections in which we try to deal with the mountain of technical problems on the day... I believe they are still very enjoyable though, and I hope you have as much fun listening in as Barry & I did when broadcasting!
What? Men in the B-Hive? Sacrilege! Nonetheless, here they are. Two of the most prolific voice actors of their generation, and two of the kindest friends I've known. Please welcome Townsend Coleman and Thom Pinto from the podcast studio at VO Atlanta 2018. The creator of VO Atlanta, Gerald Griffith, asked me to host my own podcast while in attendance at the conference, and I threw a curve ball by inviting two distinguished male voice actors in to the Hive. A woman's prerogative, I say! We do a lot of reminiscing - 'cause we're old-school like that - but there are a few good lessons in here, as well. With time, comes wisdom :-) These are two men who'd never want you to put them on a pedestal, and prove it by sharing not only their successes, but their struggles. What a privilege to have them as guests. I'll be back next time with more WOMEN in voiceover! In the meantime, enjoy these two gems.

Welcome one and all to Podcast In A Half Shell; the podcast you come to when you want to hear two muppets talking mostly about the Ninja Turtles and partially about anything that happens to pop into their noggins! On this episode, it's the day before Duncan's birthday and he and I make a very unprepared attempt at reviewing Series 1 of the 1987 TMNT cartoon! I do a pretty good job at not dropping names too much (have I mentioned before that I met Townsend Coleman once?!) as we both fumble our way through 5 frankly quite ridiculous episodes of TMNT. Duncan tries to come to terms with becoming old as we discuss our intense dislike of the Neutrinos, how baffling the Turtles pizza topping choices are and how problematic the re-imagining of Baxter Stockman might be. All this, plus we talk through the new trailer for TMNT: Out Of The Shadows, figure out why Daleks suck and LOADS more.Enjoy!

Originally intended to air on ESPN, ProStars centers on Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky fighting crime and helping children, often protecting the environment as well. The ProStars franchise also included a licensed breakfast cereal. When the show first came out, the original theme song, "We are ProStars", was an homage to the song "We Will Rock You", by the rock group, Queen (see links below). In later episodes, the song was slowed down, and the chorus was reduced to 'ProStars! Show staaaars!Wayne Gretzky (voiced by Townsend Coleman) nearly always plays the role of comic relief. Inexplicably, his mind is always on food.Bo Jackson (voiced by Dave Fennoy) provides the proverbial muscle for the heroes. He is immensely strong and has a bit of a mean streak. His strength often approaches superhuman levels, such as in the series opening where he uses a gigantic tree trunk like a club against a logging robot.Michael Jordan (voiced by Dorian Harewood) is the leader of the troupe. He is exceptionally smart and talented with complicated contraptions, and encourages children to study mathematics and the sciences.Mom (voiced by Susan Silo), a quasi-Yiddish and Jewish mother stereotype, is the Q to the ProStars' James Bond. She constantly invents wacky gadgets loosely based on sports equipment for the heroes to use. The ProStars spend all their free time in "Mom's Gym," and possibly live there too, which serves as the ProStars' headquarters.Denise (voiced by Diana Barrows) is an attractive young apprentice to Mom. She wants to help the ProStars, yet rarely makes an impact. The Neighbor is a hapless man who wear glasses who happens to live in same the neighborhood as the ProStars' headquarters. By sheer misfortune he happens to fall victim to the malfunctions of the ProStars' machines, such as him being buried in snow when their climate machine goes awry. In one episode he takes a vacation to the Himalayas, enjoying the isolation and confident he is far away from any mishaps the ProStars could unleash, only to find the ProStars are also in the area stopping a villain there.Beastly facts about the ProStars:Bo Jackson's first major-league home run went 475 feet.By the age of ten, Wayne Gretzky scored 378 goals and 139 assists in just 85 games with the Nadrofsky Steelers. As a senior in high school, Michael Jordan was selected to the McDonald's All-American Team after averaging a triple-double: 29.2 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 10.1 assists.
