Reach out to me. I would love to hear your take!A huge event in Las Vegas being headlined by none other than Gervonta "TANK" Davis as he faces a former sparring partner and huge threat within the Lightweight Division in Frank "The Ghost" Martin. Someone's "0" will go and i think it's safe to say that neither of these fighters will be the same after tonight's showdown. The co-main event will feature former Ukrainian Olympic standout and former Light Heavyweight WBC champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk welcome David Benavidez to his division. "The Mexican Monster" is looking at creating his own path and legacy and no longer willing to stand around and wait for Canelo. Will this be a successful venture for Benavidez or will he suffer a similar fate as his foe Canelo did, when he faced Bivol in his own respective attempt at Light-Heavyweight Supremacy. Also, "El Cholo Travieso" helps me breakdown the rest of the undercard as we anticipate a hell of a show.....Hope you all enjoy the back and forth and overall preview!Thank You so much for all of your continued support!Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @TOMATODITOSHOW where you can leave me a comment on the direct post corresponding to this episode. Also, you can reach out to me via X @TomaToditoShow.

Kamaru and Henry catch up after their weekend travel… where Kamaru linked up with his brother Justin Gaethje, and Henry's daughter showed the world she can bounce back from a fall just as fast as her dad. Kamaru sets the record straight on the Khabib and Dana video and weighs in on the Shavkat Rakhmonov callout…PSA: the Nigerian Nightmare fears no one. The champs weigh in other recent news: the Masvidal and Diaz press conference got a little chippy, Ryan Garcia runs into trouble at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and public skepticism grows around the McGregor Chandler fight. Then we get into the Cannonier vs. Imavov Fight Night in Louisville, Kentucky. First up is early stoppages… was Cannonier robbed? Do judges need more oversight or an accountability system? Then, Reyes comes back with a vengeance and reminds Kamaru of someone else who plans on a return from a brief hiatus. Time to review Underdog picks…the guys batted 100% and confidence is on the rise heading into Saturday's fights. We close out with some big anticipation for June 15th bouts between Frank Martin vs. Gervonta Davis and David Benavidez vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk. Teddy Atlas was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2019. He is one of the foremost fight commentators of this generation and one of the boxing's great trainers. He welcomed Boxing Life Stories host Tris Dixon into his Staten Island home to go through his story and his time in the sport. Starting with an intimate look at his childhood and the moments that carved his character, Atlas remembers his time running wild in New York before moving to Catskill where he was moulded further still by Hall of Fame trainer Cus D'Amato. Atlas gives great insight into those days, recalls the first time he set eyes on a young prospect named Mike Tyson and much more. Atlas also discusses many of the stars he's trained, including Michael Moorer, Wilfred Benitez, Donnie Lalonde and others but it's after his light-heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk recently suffered a hurtful loss to Artur Beterbiev that shows him in a light you may not have seen him in before. It's compelling listening. Next week: Irish Micky Ward talks about The Fighter, the film of his life, the Gatti trilogy and so much more. Boxing Life Stories is brought to you by Hanson Lee Resourcing and DELCO Safety Compliance. Teddy's book, Atlas: From the Streets to the Ring: A Son's Struggle to Become a Man is now available as an audiobook with Teddy narrating https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07X4DZDGT/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_taud_p1_i0

We start the show on a somber note as the boxing world mourned the loss of Patrick Day, an outstanding young man that also happened to be a boxer. Errol Spence Jr., survived being thrown from his Ferrari relatively unscathed, which was sort of a miracle, but now faces DUI charges. On Friday night we were treated to an excellent unification bout at Light Heavyweight as IBF champ Artur Beterbiev defeated WBC champ Oleksandr Gvozdyk via 10th round stoppage. Gvozdyk is out of the hospital with a minor concussion and we expect him to be back in big fights in 2020. We look back at this weekend's light heavyweight unification fight between Artur Beterbiev and Oleksandr Gvozdyk and ask, has boxing found a new superstar? We think so. The guy is a beast.
Four light heavyweights hold the division's four major world titles, but by late Friday night -- barring a no-contest or a draw -- that number of titleholders will be reduced to three. WBC titlist Oleksandr Gvozdyk and IBF belt-holder Artur Beterbiev are set to face off in a unification bout at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia (10 p.m. ET on ESPN).Sergey Kovalev (WBO) and Dmitry Bivol (WBA) are the other two light heavyweight titleholders, but there is no clear No. 1 at 175, or any easy way to separate them.Going to make a Bet use our promo Code BETTBV and get up to $1000 dollars sign up bonus here is our link http://bit.ly/2lvNv3Eone Free Month of Dazn On TBV http://bit.ly/ThaBoxingVoicexDAZNhttps://www.patreon.com/ThaboxingvoiceBUY THA BOXING VOICE T-SHIRT HERE http://thaboxingvoice.com/storePLEASE SUPPORT!!! Oleksandr Gvozdyk made his first defense of his WBC title, that he won from Adonis Stevenson, against Doudou Ngumbu this past Saturday night. Gvozdyk seemed to do just enough to nick rounds against the wild swinging Ngumbu. Then all of a sudden in the fifth round Ngumbu started limping and complained of an injury to his right calf and could not continue. Gvozdyk was declared the winner by fifth round TKO in what appeared to be a very uneventful fight. Eric, Beeb, and Ringside Robert recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action. We will also bring to you the latest boxing news, rumors, and upcoming fight schedule. The hot mic pre-show discusses an adventure at Dunham's Sporting Goods, cigarette prison currency, and the alternative uses for the ol' keister. Steve believes that you don't have to keister in a white-collar prison. Brad's girlfriend, Ashley, is in studio for episode 18 and that alone makes this one special and energetic. Steve and Brad offer life and work updates, one of which is so bad that it cannot be fully discussed on the show... and that's saying something... and we collectively wonder how to define the Christmas-itis. Brad ended up back in the hospital one last time in 2018, involving high temperatures, misdiagnoses, and collapsing in the living room at the house, and Steve compares it all to an episode of Little House on the Prairie. Then we find out not only that Steve played soccer, but what we different when he did... or so he says. Pretty women hold tremendous power, and Ashley has managed to get Brad to watch all eight Harry Potter films. We reminisce about the first time we saw the first Britney Spears music video. A vicious Aaron Hernandez joke, and a discussion about some shocking news regarding the rumors surrounding his sexuality, leads to Steve dropping a dynamite Christopher Lowell reference that could be the most obscure, shocking reference made in eighteen episodes of the podcast. Ashley and Steve talk about their common ground as guitar players thanks to a Sweetwater catalog (sponsor us!), and we all deny the reports and pitfalls of a wood shortage in the world. Before the break, sponsor, owner of Blue Gold Title Research, and friend of the show Jim Ashley chimes in with a listener commentary to follow up on his recent appearance on episode 017. After the break, Brad and Steve talk about the recent championship fight between Adonis Stevenson and Oleksandr Gvozdyk, which ended in an eleventh-round knockout and left the now-former champion, Stevenson, in a coma, and highlight how we may not feel as bad as we normally would because of his history as a Haitian pimp that abused and turned underage girls out as prostitutes. Several attempts are made to discuss the recent passing of our 41st president, George H.W. Bush, on November 30th, but things get sidetracked. The sidetracking issues include: Brad's hatred of Kirby Puckett and Kent Hrbek, Brad and Ashley's hatred of Bryce Harper, Steve's trash-talking son, sickle cell anemia, the nonsensical beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses and Scientologists, acquiring someone else's traits through blood transfusions, Steve's uncle's love of Van Halen and cocaine, and Crystal Pepsi. We learn that a certain child actor should not have been Home Alone with Michael Jackson, throw some unexpected respect at Ross Perot, and talk about how we miss Dave Markert. Steve thinks that former president Obama is a dickhole, his politics notwithstanding. Brad, Steve, and Ashley present their Top 5 Goals for 2019, we learn that head will make you do a lot of things, and we hear about appearances from the shocker, the minivan, and Horns Down. Getting drunk and then smashed, or just smashed, is alluded to... just before one of the most horrific and distasteful references in the history of broadcast media is made and Brad has to ask the Lord for forgiveness for even hearing it. Steve fills us in on his Blackout Checklist, hates Oprah Winfrey, briefly confuses Roots and The Color Purple, and talks about his personal experience with Roots outtakes. We listen to the viral video of Grover possibly being profane in a recent episode of Sesame Street before offering up our final Virginia Tech Update of the year as we close what might be our craziest show of the year... or ever. We're back to discuss the decision that has everyone talking in boxing, the Wilder-Fury draw. This fight turned into something bigger than we all anticipated on all levels. Everything from the referee, styles, race, politics. All of these factors have come up in discussing the decision of the fight. But if you think back, this is nothing new. This isn't the first time people were forced to choose sides in boxing. But before we go into all that, we send prayers to Adonis Stevenson after his brutal loss to Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Ortiz-Kauffman, and Hurd-Welborn. So sit back and chill and kick it with Combobreaker99 and BoxingP as we hold no punches! Enjoy!!!
Alex is joined by Doctor Alain Ptito, Brain Trauma Expert, McGill University, to talk about the real effects that are caused by repeated blows to the head. Following Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Gvozdyk's eleventh round knockout of Stevenson in their recent WBC Light Heavyweight title bout, some medical experts cannot justify boxing as a sport.
Francis Paquin et Jean-Luc Legendre reviennent sur les événements tragiques qui ont marqué le combat entre Adonis Stevenson et Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury might not be the heavyweight fight boxing wants, but perhaps it's the heavyweight fight boxing deserves. We're not sure how that whole analogy goes, so that might not be right either. But we do know Wilder-Fury is the fight we're getting. And it's this weekend. At 29-years-old at undefeated at 31-0, there's no question super lightweight Terence "Bud" Crawford is one of the best fighters in the world. We're heading right into the middle of the year, and already 2017 has been rather kind to boxing fans. There has been no shortage of exciting fights and many have even been meaninigful. Over the next month or two, things get interesting in boxing and we should get more fireworks. This weekend on HBO, one of boxing's most talented and flashy performers, Vasyl Lomachenko, takes on a worthy contender in Jason Sosa. It's not the five star bout everyone might hope, but it's a very respectable scrap, and one that offers Lomachenko the opportunity to make a huge statement. In the HBO openers, Oleksandr Usyk and Oleksandr Gvozdyk make appearances against Michael Hunter and Yunieski Gonzalez, respetively. It's an all-Ukraine feature, and it should be worthy. This week on KGB Radio, Brin-Jonathan Butler and Patrick Connor preview this weekend's HBO card, but also talk the state of boxing in the U.K., Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko and more.
