Education is where we learn essential pieces of information about the world. This is when we go to school and interact with other learners. This is where we cultivate skills and prepare students for their life journey. Education is important; sadly, the current system does not meet the student's needs to experience the joy of learning that it should have, both for teachers and students. Scott Rammage tells his life journey of how he grew up with a great father, the reality of the current educational system, and leaping from being a teacher to an entrepreneur. Tune in as aspiring leaders ask questions about life, health, business, leadership, personal development, and much more to learn! Quotes: “Failure is a success. Fail forward, and if you are learning from it, you are winning. There is no failure if you take it and you move forward.” – Scott Rammage “Be true to yourself, and understand your values.” – Scott Rammage “Helping other people is paramount. But before you can help people to the absolute highest level possible, you must understand that you are a force to be reckoned with, your knowledge is needed, your heart is right, and you are the chosen deliverer of that thing. If you don't believe that, you will not sell that.” – Scott Rammage Takeaways: It hurts to fail, but that will be your driving factor to win and reach your desired goal. However, remember that failures only become a success if you learn from them and move forward. Understand who you are and be true to yourself. Know your worth and values, follow them, and do not do what everybody wants you to do. Because whatever your decision is, if you know yourself, you will be successful. In business, helping people and solving their problems is the primary goal. But to help people, you must first believe in yourself, that you are needed, and that you are the one to help people with your product. Conclusion: Education must be immersive, emphasizing daily disciplines and leadership principles, and a lot of exploration where students can develop their interest. It is also important to know who you really are, your values, and your worth to make the best decision for the path you want to take.

Episode 71! On this week's episode, Scott and I dive deep into what it means to be a father and a husband. Is it enough to merely provide for the family? It's no small feat to provide for a family that's counting on you to bring home the bacon, if you're the breadwinner or a key provider of the bread. Scott and I dig into how that thinking can lead you astray from your true calling as a father and the things your family truly needs from you beyond simply bringing home a paycheck. Success necessitates a lot of personality traits. To savor the sweet taste of success, you must have talent, hard work, devotion, commitment, and focus. But if one essential trait takes precedence over the others, I'd say the ability to persevere. The quality of perseverance that all the best and most successful people throughout history have possessed stands out above all others. The road to success is long and twisting and paved with difficulties. Anyone with a different point of view is stupid, naive, and doomed to failure. There are many struggles in life that will make you think of giving up sometimes, but Joe shares how perseverance leads you to success and a better person. In the Brotherhood of Fatherhood episode, Scott Rammage is joined by Joe Wankelman, who served 17 years in the army as a Forward Observer and Apache Helicopter Pilot in Command/Maintenance Test Pilot. They talk about Joe's military experiences, marriage life, and how he became a better version of himself after his challenges.Joe did four tours in Iraq (04-05, 08-09, 2011) and Afghanistan (2014). He also had some fantastic moments in his life and some unbelievably challenging ones. But, from these challenges, he has gained a gift greater than I could have imagined. It's the ability to preserve, and this became his watchword. He is also open to talking about his triumphs of flying a 40 million helicopter, being the first company-grade pilot to fly the E Model Apache helicopter in combat. How can you understand or wipe away your darkest grief? You can start your recovery journey to a healthier, happier place in your life by understanding your grief and what you can do about it. In times of need, desire, and hope for the future, we frequently turn to the God who created us. It's okay to pray for something to happen in our lives, but we get angry or irritated all too frequently because we think God is not hearing us or giving us what we want. It is God's good pleasure to provide for our needs and desires, but if we are consumed with the idea that we do not deserve all kinds of good, we can be blocking God's intervention. You might also experience additional challenges in life. Still, JT shares how he glorifies God even at the lowest points of his life through life experiences like being a missionary. In this Brotherhood of Fatherhood episode, Scott Rammage is joined by JT Pharr, a co-founder of Mission 91, previously CEO of a defense contracting firm, and a Marine Corps Veteran. They talk about their hobbies, past work and life experiences, and how God moves in the darkest times of their life.JT enjoys Jiu-jitsu, shooting, archery, mountain biking, and camping. Some interesting facts about him are that he was blessed with three kiddos, married to the most amazing woman for 16 years, used to race motorcycles, and was a blue belt in Jiu-jitsu. He also has a degree in journalism. Some people say that his hygiene and grooming standards are a bit extreme. For too long, conversations about fatherhood have focused on what men should do. When in reality, we need to be focusing on what men feel. What are the unknown and unspoken feelings that fathers carry? How have these feelings shaped their behaviors? After years of raising his teenagers and being a parent, Scott Rammage looked deeply at himself as a father, and what he didn't see surprised him. When you look at your upbringing and the family system from a different perspective, you'll see that it was creating happiness, that it was creating trauma, that it was creating success, that it was creating struggle—which is what you're looking for to become successful. All of it is the variety of life that shaped who you are. It's not necessarily always good or bad, but it's important to see. Because if we don't understand what happened to us, then how can we control what's happening with our kids? Our children are humans themselves, growing more into the human beings they're meant to be, just like we all are, whether we know it or not. And that therein is the challenge: Meeting your kids exactly where they are at moments in their life. There are many ways about this but it all starts with yourself. As long as we live in truth, love, and sincerity — this is regardless of whether we think we've already arrived as parents — living with integrity will make life much easier for both yourself and those around you (whether they know it too or not). There are ways that don't serve your children, but there are no right ways. There's just the way that serves them. This can be daunting to figure out for any parent or father. Fortunately, you are not alone. How many tasks do you have when running your business? Too many to count? Do you ever feel like you could really use some help getting them all done in a day or week so that fewer important things slip through the cracks? Do you ever think to yourself, I can't delegate this, because no one can do it like me? Maybe you've spent a ton of time hiring help, only for them to leave- or for them to let you down- so you're left doing all the work you wanted to offload in the first place! You're not alone. Most entrepreneurs WANT to be able to do everything, but often, when you attempt to do this you run into bigger problems. Your growth is going to be stunted, because you'll be stuck doing what's at your capacity. You'll risk seriously burning out by continually doing tasks that you're not passionate about, and may even hate doing. You won't be able to give your clients- the people that matter most- the attention and care that they need and deserve. All of this can potentially kill your business! If you feel this way- then you're someone who could seriously benefit from having a VA- or virtual assistant. Imagine being able to free up an extra 15-20 hours a week- what would you do with that time? Imagine not needing to pay that expensive videographer and editor to come in once in a while, not having to force creating creative content, not having to worry about payroll for employees, or the churn and burn from consistently having to on-board new staff? What if you could simply focus on the aspects of your business that you love the most- the ones that caused you to get into this industry in the first place? The only problem is, finding a VA is a difficult process- and where do you even get started? That's why we brought on our guest today- as a gym owner for over ten years himself, he went through the same struggles you are, and decided to create a solution for it- called VA's for Gyms. He has not only put in hours and hours into studying and understanding the process of finding the perfect VA- he's assembled a team with complimentary skillsets that can help gym owners and managers get hours of more work done by being able to offload bookkeeping services, lead generation, social media management, and much more- for a low cost and little hassle. Most gym owners are trying to wear too many hats, and end up doing a mediocre job at most things. The owners who realize they are taking on too much will often offload a lot of these administrative tasks to their coaches, only to realize that their coaches are even worse than they are at most non-coaching tasks. The owner ends up wasting a ton of time and energy trying to micromanage their team, instead of getting the right people in place that will excel in these roles. In today's episode, I talk to Josh and Scott from VAs for gyms, to talk about how gym owners can leverage virtual professionals to run their social media, take over their admin, and remove their most time-sucking tasks.
