Today, we recap the Abu Dhabi GP which was like a microcosm of the season overall, except for the shocking turn of events where Ferrari's strategy ruled the day?!Next, we talk about the legend that is Seb Vettel - his fitting send off, the Last Supper we all wish we could've attended and if he'll be back. After a LONG silly season we look at where everyone landed and take a stab at ranking the incoming rookies. We also chat about the Binotto rumors (then) / reality (now). We go deep into the new F1 Academy and what it means for the W series before giving our final takeaways from the season to wrap '22!We'll be back soon with some bonus off season content! For more content or to dish tea, reach out on:twitter: @modepushf1 instagram: @modepushf1 web: www.mode-push-f1.come-mail: modepushf1@gmail.com
Luisteren! Instagram: spaakzaam Find out more at https://spaakzaam.pinecast.co
It was hard to not be emotional about the retirement of Seb Vettel, but our hearts are a little heavier as we bid farewell to Daniel Ricciardo in a full time capacity. Also Nick Latifi and Mick Schumacher left, not that they got much media attention!

LGBTQ ally and Formula 1 racing driver Seb Vettel joins Sam to talk about standing up for human rights specifically the rights of LGBTQ people. Seb is a four time F1 world champion, winning consecutively between 2010 and 2013, he currently drives for Aston Martin and has used his platform to speak out including when visiting countries with anti-gay laws. In 2021 at the Hungarian Grand Prix he wore a t shirt with the words 'same love' on it making a statement against so called 'gay propaganda' law proposals in the country.

Jaz is joined this week by Jamie Green and Daniel Eggleston. They talk about the F1 season in general, what's impressed them and dissapointed them. The debate section looks at wether Seb Vettel is an upgrade on Perez (30:30) and should Fernando Alonso be returning to the sport at the age of 39 (49:45). (Apologies a few internet issues resulted in voice lagging in spots)

It's Part 1 of the Week In IndyCar Listener Q&A show as we dive into a bunch of questions submitted via social media. A sampling of the items posed this week (Q&A begins at the 2m40s mark in the episode): "What actually happened to Zach Veach? I doubt he willingly stepped aside for the rest of the year to help the team prepare for next season, he seems like a great guy, but I don't think any racing driver no matter how nice they are would willingly do that. As a Canadian I'm very happy to see Hinch back in the car, what are his odds of being in that seat, or at least that organization for next season?" "Do you think that Sergio Perez could make the transition to IndyCar, now he has been replaced by Seb Vettel at Aston Martin in F1 #mepersonally he would fit in well at SPAM with Pato O'Ward and brings investment to the team." "Due to the lack of Indy Lights this year, do you think this will give the current crop drivers higher chance not being replaced, or will teams spend more time considering options from F1 / sports car championships?" There have been plenty of big storing going around Formula 1 this week and off the top of the show we discuss Mattia Binotto's comments that Ferrari is merely in a storm and not a crisis. We follow that story up with the shocking news that following the sale of Williams Racing to Dorilton Capital, the Williams family's run in F1 is coming to an end after 43 years. If that wasn't enough we also discuss the latest news on what Seb Vettel is planning for 2021 and what Red Bull's Christian Horner thinks makes F1 boring.. In this episode the lads discuss the return of Formula One, the changed calendar, Seb Vettel, the Hulk and more!
Support the show: https://krant.nl See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
There is rarely a lack of interesting news in F1, but when it comes to the summer months and the driver's market then there is always something to talk about. This week there is plenty of news including reports Valtteri Bottas has signed a new deal with Mercedes for 2021 and Sebastian Vettel has held 'loose talks' with Racing Point to join them next year when they will become the Aston Martin F1 team. There is also plenty of other news including Lewis Hamilton saying the Mercedes W11 is the 'best' car they've ever built and a preview of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
This one is a bit longer than normal. We chat with Seb Vettel, we look back at the weekends race and talk about each team and their results. Also the segment, 'you know you're an F1 fan when' And the Nerang F1 race is gathering momentum... https://www.instagram.com/effingonepodcast/ https://twitter.com/effing1podcast
We got a shit race, so you get a shit podcast! Welcome to the Effing One Podcast where we pick up the ball when F1 drops it, fumbles and scores an own goal. The Green Award for the driver/team who lowered their carbon footprint, the Yuji Ide Award for wasting everyone's time, the Effing One Podcast Award for making F1 great again, the Lick it and Send it Award for the driver with the best overtake and finally the Pastor Maldonado Award for dangerous driving. We speak with Seb Vettel, come up with ideas to make F1 great again AND we have some advertising that you wont wanna skip through. Ricciardo and Hulkenberg's bizarre same lap failures. Lando Norris taking McLaren to unexpected heights. The best and worst of the race - the "Shoey awards and Grid Penalties". The boys also preview the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. Enjoy! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/boxboxboxf1/message
To start we'd like to apologize for the incredibly poorly called highlights package. Now after that shamozzle, sit back and enjoy the review of the fantastic Japanese Grand Prix featuring 4-time world champion Seb Vettel. Enjoy!
Team orders were the big talking point after Lewis Hamilton won the Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Autodrom last weekend. There's still hope for Sebastian Vettel, but the Ferrari driver is going to need some big results to go his way if he's to have any hope of beating Lewis before the end of the year. This week we also talk about Max Verstappen's impressive drive at Sochi, details of the Racing Point recent purchase of Force India, and much more. Learn more about your ad choices. Cheers.
