One of the sayings in Japan, when things are tough, they say 'gaman,' which means just keep going. And with the devotional service, there are different periods of our life where we are at a crossroads, and things seem difficult. What should I do? What's going to happen? There's only one solution. Ultimately, it's 'gaman' with your Japa. And I was thinking this morning, it's 'fix your Japa, fix your life.' There's lots of other things you can do, but it's the main thing to fix your life. If you get that straight and make that your priority, then all the other things become easy, like the admonition that if you remember Lord Caitanya, then difficult things become easy, and vice versa, if you forget them, then easy things become difficult. It seems too simple. Everyone wants to use their mode of passion mind to figure everything out and put it in order. But it's better to fix the Japa first and then see what happens.
