DOOM: The Dark Ages places a shield in your hands and asks you to "stand and fight." How does this feel in comparison to DOOM Eternal's lightning fast combat or the more deliberate nature of DOOM 2016? It finds itself in the middle as all three Dukes have different takes on this one. Its combat, story, enemy variety, pacing, traversal, level design. All of them speak to us (or not) in ways that really highlight this isn't iD's best DOOM, but it's not their worst. Hablamos de los títulos que entra en PlayStation Plus Essential, el cual sorprende por la entrada de Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Tal vez la situación en EA y en Bioware sea más cautelosa de lo normal. Forza Horizon 5 ya tiene fecha de lanzamiento en PS5 y esperemos que las ventas funcionen pese a que la visibilidad ha sido nula y el interés es de boquilla. Es una pena que tengamos que hablar de Fable de esta manera, ya que se aleja algo más del mapa y estará disponible en algún momento de 2026, sin fecha por concretar. In an interview with Famitsu, Toshihiro Nagoshi, a former SEGA director who was pivotal at RGG studio, which works on the Like a Dragon games, says that the "era of game size" being pivotal to a game is coming to an end. Although it doesn't seem to be the case with the amount of large-size games still releasing in 2024, but could this be true in the near future? Could the size of a game's world finally not matter?Also, thanks to recent live-service failures such as Suicide Squad and now Multiversus it seems as though Warner Bros Games focus will come solely from four core franchises. Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC, and Game of Thrones. Could this narrowing of its focus actually help improve things for the publisher? A Star Wars game that Tom hasn't played? Blasphemous! When the Xbox Game Pass “Surprise Me” button landed on a Star Wars title, Chris naturally assumed that he would have to spin it again. In a surprising twist, this Lego action-adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros Games happened to be among the very few that Tom had not yet played. As the sixth installment in the series and largely covering films that have been hashed and rehashed in prior installments, you may find it understandable why he skipped this one at launch. Now that it has been randomly selected for the episode, however, the only honorable thing to do is give it a fair chance. Will Tom's low expectations line up with reality, or will he be pleased to be proven wrong?
