Covid 19 or Coronavirus in Korea, China, and It's Effects on Teaching   On this episode of K-PoD, we all look at Covid 19 and when the Coronavirus first broke out in Asia, what we went through at that time, work being closed, and how life was in Korea and China during the 'lock down'. There are many alternative things you can find to do during your stay in South Korea! There are lots of things you can do while in South Korea!  Things to do indoors, things to do outdoors, and things you can only do in Korea!  In this episode we share so of these alternative things to do while in Korea along with our own experiences. Scott, Adam, and Marco are joined by guest Michael DeLorenzo to talk about the different things you can do while in South Korea and the Changwon area that you might not know about. Our guest, Michael DeLorenzo, has lived in South Korea for the past 8 years.  He’s originally from the United States and is a teacher at Changwon National University.  He has been running a group in Changwon called the ‘Changwon Culture and Activity Group' for the past 4 ½ years, and he joins us to share in all the different activities that they group does and why the group exists. We each share in our own experiences of fun, strange, indoors, outdoors, and craziest things we’ve done while living in South Korea (combined +27 years) including screen rooms, singing rooms, festivals and concerts, mystery dinners, movie nights, ghost hunting, and even hiking in North Korea! Korea has changed after the events of the Sewol Ferry tragedy on April 16th, 2014. After the Sewol is a new documentary film that deals with the tragic Sewol Ferry accident that claimed the lives of so many here in South Korea. This week we are joined with the two film makers of 'After the Sewol', writers/directors/producers Neil P. George and Matthew Root. They both tell us more about their latest film, the process and difficulties they came across with the film, and their future plans for the film including and second documentary to follow up on the first one.   Being in Korea for so long, we've all seen a lot of changes in the county! Ben Hearn returns to the podcast to join Scott and Phil to talk about some of the changes they have all seen over their years of living and working in South Korea. This is not the first time Ben has spent a year in Korea and he plans on staying another.  He is someone who lives with diabetes and takes his heath seriously.  He will discuss food access and where some great places for finding certain food items are in Korea, and everyone gets into their drinks of choice for a night out in Changwon City, South Korea.
