Exactly How to Use ChatGPT and 11.ai to Create an Entire Podcast in 10 Minutes Without Speaking a Single Word STEP 1: Have ChatGPT Generate a Script Background info: The podcast is called Copy That Pops. The host is LaptopLaura. Laura always closes the podcast by saying, "And remember to keep finding ways to write copy that pops!" I want you to act like a professional script writer for podcasters where you write only word-for-word exactly what the host will speak out loud. Please write a short script for teaching someone how to use ChatGPT and 11.ai to: Step 1. write them a short podcast script about using ChatGPT for writing short podcast scripts Step 2. use https://elevenlabs.io, a text to speech and AI voice generator, to read their script for use in the podcast Step 3: download the audio files, add your intro and outro music, and publish to your favorite podcast host (I use Libsyn -- use the code LAURA for first two months free) Please do NOT include speakers' names, the word "Host:" before paragraphs, or any notes about when to play music or sounds like "[Intro Music]". Simply produce in your response a script that could be read word for word. Thank you! STEP 2: Clean Up the Script from ChatGPT Welcome to another episode of Copy That Pops, where we explore the art and science of great writing for business. I'm your host, LaptopLaura (in the voice of an AI assistant I'll be teaching you how to create for free today too!). This episode is all about using ChatGPT and 11.ai to craft compelling podcast scripts. Writing and producing has never been easier! Here's how I created this exact podcast without speaking a single word. Step 1: Writing a Short Podcast Script using ChatGPT ChatGPT is a powerful language model that can help you generate creative and engaging content. Here's a simple guide to using it for your podcast scripts: 1. Start by heading to chat.openai.com and enter your prompt. For example, you can say, "Generate a short and engaging podcast script about using ChatGPT for content creation." 2. Review the suggestions provided by ChatGPT and select the ones that align with your style and tone. 3. Edit and refine the content as needed to match your unique voice and message. Step 2: Using Elevenlabs.io to Bring Your Script to Life. Elevenlabs.io is a fantastic text-to-speech and AI voice generator tool. Here's how to use it: 1. Visit elevenlabs.io and paste your podcast script into the text box. 2. Choose the voice that suits your style and adjust settings like pitch and speed. You can even create your own version of a voice and give it a name. Let's name mine Aurora (which my husband laughs at me about and says it sounds like a stripper name - lolz – sorry, Disney's Sleeping Beauty!) 3. Hit the generate button and listen to the preview. 4. Make any necessary tweaks to perfect the audio. Step 3: Downloading and Publishing. Once your audio is ready, you will then: 1. Download the generated audio file 2. Add your intro and outro music to give it a polished and branded touch. Note: If you're starting a new podcast hosted by Libsyn, use the code LAURA for your first two months free. --- And there you have it - a seamless process to leverage tech to create and deliver captivating podcast content. Writing and producing has never been faster or easier! Laura made this whole episode without uttering a single word. Visit the shownotes at CopyThatPops.com forward slash 226 for links to all that we mentioned today as well as screenflows showing this episode's creation. I hope these tools make your writing and podcasting journey even more productive, efficient, and enjoyable. Until next time, keep finding ways to write copy that pops! When you have ADHD, it is not unusual to forget objects or events. I even forget the names of the people I meet and I'm just as likely to forget a conversation that I really enjoyed as much as one that was a total sleeper. If you are like me, you may also have struggled with feeling anxious, being self-conscious, embarrassed, and ashamed about memory limitations, especially with respect to interpersonal relationships. If you feel afraid to offend, hurt, or disappoint people, over the years, this can take a toll on self-esteem. I also know some people who simply start pulling back from others and playing small in their business and life in order to avoid letting others and themselves down because their memory is so unreliable. How then should we handle being forgetful? How can you craft a talk, deliver dynamically, and book a spot on the TED stage? If you have a purpose in your business and stories to share with the world, this is the episode for you as we sit down with TEDx Orlando’s co-organizer Thomas Waterman! Psychology, Leadership, Vision, Purpose-Driven, TED Talks… …these are a few of the keywords from the notes I took during the conversation with today’s guest who is similar to me in that he loves interacting with people, studying psychology, and finding ways to help the audience he serves. A few podcast episode highlights: – Hello from San Diego Startup Week (at the San Diego Convention Center) – P.S.T. Speeeeeecial announcements, milestones, and business lessons learned to share with you! This is a fun and personal quick episode. #1: Big Big Announcement: I’m preggo! I actually found out that I was pregnant in mid-January. Thank god I had just gotten my new podcast audio editor and shownotes person up and running with a great system, or this show would have stopped in its tracks! My first trimester was miserable. I never threw up, but I felt like I had 2 solid months of mild food poisoning. Not so bad that I had to barf, but bad enough that I couldn’t get much done each day. I’d sleep 10-12 hours a night (getting up to pee 3-4 times), have just a couple of hours to work on helping my book writing and bestseller launch clients before the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks and send me running back to bed for a 3 hour nap or just general day-long unproductive malaise. My respect for all mothers has skyrocketed. Now, I’m in the second trimester and feeling a lot better. I’m not 100% back to my old energy, but at least able to get more done in a day. #2: Special Milestone! This month, April of 2019, we crossed the 3-year anniversary of this podcast! I first launched Copy That Pops while living in Regensburg, Germany. Episode 000 released on April 22, 2016. Can you believe it? [April 26th was also Devin and my 5-year wedding anniversary]. Having a podcast has been an interesting undertaking in that it’s forced me to produce consistent content for longer than I ever have before. And I don’t want to stop now! In fact, I am bouncing around the idea of a Book That Pops podcast just on books specifically...it’s just a matter of getting my energy back to produce the material for you all! Would love to hear your feedback on if you would listen to a show just about writing, self-publishing, marketing, and launching a bestselling book on Amazon with me!? #3: Thank you for the podcast reviews! Every time I look at my show on a podcast player like iTunes (though this show is on many, many other channels!) it makes me feel so good to see reviews! The most recent ones I see are from Keselea and Wade Galt. Thank you both so much for taking the time to leave a rating and review! It’s super easy from your smartphone and it helps tell the podcast player it's on that the show is worth putting in front of more eyeballs. So, your reviews not only make me feel good, they help more people find us! #4: Business Lessons Learned Never in my entrepreneurial life have I been so slammed, down and out, like I have felt being pregnant this year in 2019. My capacity to do things has tanked. I am so behind on FB messages that I feel physically horrible and guilty. I am saying ‘no’ to opportunities I’d normally jump at. But, in a way, this is a good thing. It’s forced me to reflect a lot. It’s forced me to analyze how I used to fill my days. Always busy, was I working on the right things? Going forward, especially in late September and after when I have a crying baby that needs me, what do I WANT to be doing? What realistically CAN I actually manage? I am still figuring it all out, but I’m focusing hard on: - More systems - Automation - Elimination of things that aren’t really essential - Delegation - Repurposing - Growing sales of my products and group programs and saying ‘no’ to private client work - Getting my digital funnels and email nurturing really on point instead of relying so much on networking and referrals To be continued...but it’s certainly an inflection point for me in business. If you have navigated something similar...with the birth of a child, adoption of a child, an illness, a family commitment, etc...I’d love to hear about it! --------- And thank you for being a listener of the show! I am honored you choose to spend time with me each week. 3 years running now! Talk to you next week with more ways to write copy that pops! xo Laura Take Action Now! Another quick tip episode for you today...I’ll keep it pithy and productive for you! You never know when one introduction can lead to great things! Writing introductions are important for many cases: Introducing guests on your own podcast Introducing guest speakers at a local meetup, an online live stream, or a stage where you may have another expert on with you Helping podcast hosts or emcees to properly introduce you to the audience Introducing yourself in-person, on interviews, or even in writing inside a blog or your book & so much more! Introduction Tips 1. Proper Preparation I’m not one to completely wing something new when I want to do a good job. Luckily, the Director of Events for SMMW Phil Mershon ran an incredibly helpful online training for we who would be Track Leader emcees! He shared two resources that really helped inspire my own preparation, which were: How to Be a Good Master of Ceremonies How to be a great MC - Emcee - Master of Ceremonies #1 "Secrets to a Great Introduction!" Speaker Introduction Framework 2. The Framework Components To really set the stage for the audience, make the speaker feel honored and well-received, and ensure everyone in the room knows they are in the right place and excited for the material, we should: Quickly...try to cover: Why the subject is important Why this speaker is awesome Why the audience is linked to both above Why right now is the best time to learn this 3. What I ended up doing I made sure to introduce myself and also connect myself to the audience. Here’s how I ended up doing my intros: Greet the audience and thank them for coming Engage the audience somehow Introduce myself + connect myself to the audience Well, hello everyone, my name is Laura Petersen and I’m in business and marketing just like you! I own my own company called Copy That Pops, with a podcast of the same name. Primarily, I help entrepreneurs to write, self-publish, launch, and leverage bestselling books on Amazon to grow their brands and businesses! Tie in why the subject of the speaker’s talk is important Tie the audience and me back into the subject and say why now is the best time to be here learning more about this Introduce the speaker without saying his or her name until the very end! End the introduction by asking the audience to get on their feet, put their hands together to properly welcome…. THEN, I would say the speaker’s name last as he or she walked onto the stage Another Quick Tip: It’s good to stay there until the speaker is settled in for two reasons: Give the audience a consistent focal point of where to look Be there just in case the speaker drops something or needs a quick bit of help as he/she adjusts to the stage Importance of saying the guest’s name LAST. Michael O’Neal of the Solopreneur Hour podcast in episode 51 entitled, “High-level Branding & the Art of the Podcast Interview with Michael O’Neal [Book Influencer Mini-Series].” Anyhow, both Michael and this article point out that professional hosts always save the guest’s name for last. Watch Stephen Colbert, Jay Leno, Oprah, Ellen, or Larry King for example. Watch how they introduce mega-stars to their stage...they save their name for last! If it’s good enough for these pros, it’s good enough for us! Example: An Example of one of my introductions… Tim Schmoyer. He’s a huge YouTube influencer and one of the kindest people I met at SMMW. CTA plug around books. I truly believe that you should write a book. I can help you, even if you are a bit nervous or overwhelmed! Together, we can make it hit bestseller on Amazon too and map out a plan to ensure it creates an ROI in your business. If you would like to share a bit more about your book dreams and goals, fill out a quick survey to tell me more at CopyThatPops.com/survey. I read each one of them and can point you in the right direction for more resources whether that is free material I’ve created or even my signature Bestseller Accelerator ROI program! Copy That Pops: Writing Tips and Psychology Hacks for Business
Quick copy and business leadership tip for you today...plus a behind-the-scenes recording! First, the Backstory… Last year in January of 2018, I started a group of entrepreneurs meeting about every other week in San Diego for coffee to get to know each other and be open to collaborations. I called it “Connecting SD.” There was never any firm agenda, though the times we had 10 or more people come, I did have to add in more structure so everyone could get to know one another! The idea was simple: connection I love living in San Diego and there are so many biz-minded people here, so why not do a better job connecting with them? Plus, I wanted to step up more as a leader, so I thought that starting my own group would be a great idea! And it has been. Some of the bestselling author clients you have heard on the podcast this past year have come from that group. • I never sold. • I never pitched. • I never pushed. I just got to know people and they got to know me. They saw me as a leader and witnessed my consistently in showing up to facilitate a meeting that brought them value...so working with me when they were ready to do a book was a non-sale, a no brainer! But aside from business growth and thought leadership expansion...what ‘copy related’ benefit has the group had? Copy Hack The copy benefit has come, not just for me as the leader but for every single participant! For us all! 1. Each time we meet we share what we do with the group (and usually individually to others as people trickle in). This is great practice saying aloud what you do and getting immediate feedback on if it’s clear or interesting 2. Many meetings we write things out like our ‘one sentence of what we do’ or 3 bullet points of our ‘ideal audience.’ This helps us clarify who we are and who we serve These two things alone have helped me, and many attendees have told me it helps them too, in both how they speak with people and how they write their copy for their websites, landing pages, social media, and more. Humans need repetition to work things out. I am constantly testing and refining my copy and what I say in my introductions with people to see what works. Don’t expect instant perfection...it’s a constant evolution! One Copy Tip And to boil down a tip for you: Use in-person networking events or meetups as a place to practice your concise ‘elevator pitch’ or ‘hook’ and watch the reactions of people on their face, in their body language, and with what they do and say after. It’s great market research to improve your copy and communications! Now, a Behind-the-Scenes Recording At a recent get together of Connecting SD we were 5 gals who turned up on January 4th on the first Friday of the new year (2019). For fun, I plugged in my mic (I use an ATR2100 + foam pop filter that you can get on Amazon for about $60-$70) and recorded us each going around and introducing ourselves, businesses, and 2019 goals to the group. It was great practice for all of us to speak it into a microphone...and I thought it would be fun for you as a listener of the Copy That Pops podcast to meet 4 new female entrepreneurs! So, here is a short clip...we wish you had been there! [video width="720" height="1280" mp4="https://www.copythatpops.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/connectingsd-1.4.18.mp4"][/video] Special Guests! Copy That Pops: Writing Tips and Psychology Hacks for Business
Popping in with you this week just to: Wish you a happy start to 2019 (done and done!) Share a win from 2018 (and invite you to share with me too) Share plans for 2019 (and invite you to share your feedback with me also) 1: Happy New Year, my copy poppers! Okay, so, we already got item #1 complete. Hope 2019 is the best year ever for you! Now let’s talk about #2! 2: Share my wins from 2018 (and invite you to share with me too) My New Year’s Eve was fabulous. I got together with some of my neighbors and friends. 6 of us were entrepreneurs and 2 were not, but are significant others of us crazy biz peeps (1 of which is my husband Devin). Just before the clock struck midnight, we 8 stood around the fire (in our neighbor’s outdoor fire pit), drank adult beverages, and shared one of our favorite moments or wins from the past year. What did I share? Well, for me, I’ve run away from public speaking nearly my entire life. I remember distinctly a few instances from my childhood where I had to present, was terrified, did horribly, and swore I never wanted to do it again. That carried over into my adult life. And if you know my story, you know I used to teach high school math and psychology. That is public speaking, of sorts. The first day I had to teach, it was during my student teaching program and I had to teach the unit circle to a group of 17 and 18 year old seniors in and honors pre-calculus course. I was like 24 or 25 myself, so not that much older. And I was mortified. We used to use those overhead projectors where you write on a transparent film and it shows on the wall behind you. Well, as I started my lesson, I noticed that the entire projector and resulting projection on the wall was shaking nonstop. Was there an earthquake? Nope...it was my freaking hand. I couldn’t stop it from shaking. And I felt even more embarrassed because I knew that everyone knew I was so nervous. It was painful. But, my desire to become a teacher was just slightly higher than my mortification from sucking at it...so I persisted. By my second year of teaching, I started to really find my stride and grew to love it. It was actually fun to perform the lessons, as I call it, and get teenagers to actually care about and enjoy mathematics. I had many, many students tell me that they hated math until they took my class….that they hated all math teachers until they met me. That was so fulfilling to hear. But after teaching about 5 years, I felt like I had ‘mastered’ it and wanted a new challenge. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and the internet had matured more, so it was a lot more feasible than it was prior. The year was 2011. I quit teaching fulltime to make the jump. And I worked on many different businesses until I found some real footing in my current one...in the Copy That Pops world….where I now focus on helping other entrepreneurs to do three things:1. Write a great book that shows off their expertise Self-publish their book as a bestseller on Amazon3. Leverage their books to grow their brand and businesses I’m toying with some branding in 2019 around “Author Leadership,” but I’m getting ahead of myself. To wrap up my item #2 around my win for 2018...let’s get back to public speaking. After mastering speaking to 30 teenagers trapped in a classroom all year, I didn’t think that skill translated to doing well on stage in front of business people. So, I started hiding and running away from speaking to larger than just a few people at a time...for many years, yet again. In June of 2011, when I jumped into the business world, I had just turned 30 (my bday is June 6th, fyi). This past year in 2018, I decided to get over this ‘fear of speaking’ once and for all. It started in January and in June I turned 37. So, for about 6.5 years I hid from it yet again. So happy that in 2018, I changed my story...and it’s helping take my business to the next level. But, the win I shared around the fire just before the clock struck midnight was that I not only spoke on stage as much as I could this past year, I also spoke on stage on three different continents: North America, Europe, and Australia. That sounds pretty bad ass. :-P And, this is just the beginning… I believe that being an published author gives you leadership credibility instantly. Speaking on stage is the next level too...and being an author helps you get more speaking gigs and get paid more for the paid gigs you book too. So, that is a big win for me. If you are terrified of speaking on stage, you are not alone. But if I can get over it and learn to love it -- something for 36 years I swore was impossible -- then you can too. ACTION STEP:Please share with me a win of yours from 2018! I’d love to hear it! Post it on social media and tag me @LaptopLaura or send me a private message or email! (I’m at Laura@copythatpops.com for email). Would love to hear something you are proud of achieving this year! #3: Share some of my plans for 2019 (and invite you to share your feedback with me also) Plans….my goal for 2019 is several fold. I want to scale my business up. And I want to take on fewer private clients so I can focus on growing my group programs and courses, which I really believe in and see my way to help more people, even those who can’t afford tens of thousands for private work with me. I also want to scale more ONE-TO-MANY versus one-to-one so I have more time available for me to do what I love most in business:- speak on stage- organize events that bring people together If you remember one of my podcast episodes from last January, episode 107 titled: Your ONE Word Quick Copy Tip [CONNECTION Edition] (copythatpops.com/107), you’ll know that at my CORE, what makes me happiest in life and always has, ever since I was little, is “connection.”I love feeling connected with others and connecting people with one another. I feel I can best do that via:- my group coaching programs and masterminds around books and author leadership - speaking on stage to bigger and bigger crowds- attending and organizing events ACTION STEP:Please share with me feedback for me on how I can serve you best in 2019! I’d love to hear what I can do to make you feel more connected with others while also accomplishing your business goals. Post it on social media and tag me @LaptopLaura or send me a private message or email! (I’m at Laura@copythatpops.com for email). Would love to hear your feedback. I appreciate your listenership and value your opinion.

Just our unconscious mind. This impacts us as kids and carries on for life if we don’t look at it with clearer eyes. What’s really stopping people? What’s the cause of your procrastination? “Our results are equal to our current levels of belief.” “Our desires are really equal to what we are capable of, our true potential.” “We are born to be a success, yet our programming is what is keeping us the same.” “We aren’t born with any limiting beliefs... And we are talked out of that.” Ego is also perfectionism, getting overwhelmed with decision-making, and not feeling good enough! Grab my Amazon Best Selling Book now Check out the transcript here: Hiya! Welcome to Copy That Pops! I’m LaptopLaura, your hostess with the mostest. If you are new to the show, a quick background on me is that I’m a tall Math & Psychology teacher turned serial entrepreneur. These days I’m a podcast launch and best-selling book launch strategist. I help elite entrepreneurs and business create and launch powerful podcasts (a biiiig influencer client to be announced soon!) as well as best-selling books! In fact, a student in my free Facebook Group and course is going live TODAY as I record this! His name is Alex Berger and his book is called: Practical Curiosity: The Guide to Life, Love & Travel As I record this (on Monday Nov 6th 2017) it is #1 in his first category and #4 and #7 in his other two...those numbers are dropping (in a great way) so by the end of the day I expect #1 in all three categories in the US as well as in other countries! Let’s see if Alex can beat my best success story to date, Akbar Sheikh who hit #1 in 6 countries! Go Alex! If you want to grab his book no matter when you listen to this, head to copythatpops.com/alex And if you want to pop into the free Best-Selling Author Posse on FB, head to copythatpops.com/facebook. It will redirect you to the Facebook group. Can’t wait to meet you in there! ---- Okay, so the topic of today’s podcast is a Quick Grammar Tip...and I have a very treacherous story to tell you … it’s a bit gruesome, so hold on to your hats! ... But first, a quick shout out to another tool made ONLY to benefit YOU! I’ve been taking my blog very seriously again -- only fitting since I’m a nerd for writing! -- so I want to invite you to head to CopyThatPops.com/blog and check it out if you have not yet. Some recent articles to help you include: - How Long Will It Take to Write My Book? — How much should I write every day? - How to Write a Book: 5 Crystal Clear Steps to Show Off Your Expertise WITHOUT Giving Up Halfway Through - How to Format a Book for Amazon Book Publishing: Kindle Format, CreateSpace, and More - Book Cover Design Tips: How to make a book cover even if you’re not a designer Some titles may change slightly over time because I am really playing with the keywords for long-term SEO (search engine optimization) growth! That’s the topic of next week’s podcast and you do NOT want to miss it...a special presentation from Andy Steven of High Voltage SEO. That episode boasts detailed specifics of what you can do to optimize your website and an amazing Aussie accent. So, look out for episode 099 coming next Tuesday! And if any of those articles call your name, head over to CopyThatPops.com/blog -- so many people are telling me the blogs are more like legit books or mini courses and super helpful. I hope you find the same! --- Well then, back to our Quick Grammar Tip and that Halloween-like story… As this episode goes live on Tuesday the 7th, I am flying from San Diego to NYC to see friends old and new including my friend since 7th grade Laura Eidlitz who has a PhD in Psychology, Victor Adefuye (who was on this podcast way back in episode 23...it’s a very popular one called Managing Psychology, Emotion, & Ego for Success with Victor Adefuye. And you can find it at CopyThatPops.com/023), and Jess Lindgren who is both the creator of GalFriday612 and the Executive Assistant to the one and only Pat Flynn. It is with this last friend Jess, that this episode today is partly inspired. Last month she was in town for several events -- she lives in Minnesota right now -- and we got together for bagels and coffee in downtown San Diego before the Pat Flynn mastermind meeting. As we talked, we realized we are both nerds for great writing and made jokes about poor grammar use as only nerd would. But no laughing matter is my story… It takes place back in the year 1885. This was long before cell phones, computers, and -- crap wait -- typewriters were around but not widely used...okay, so …Back in 1885 there lived a very peculiar family of 3 generations in an isolated farm house. What made them especially odd was they never spoke aloud to each other and would only scribble handwritten notes. They lived such a routine life that not much communication was really needed and they got along well enough. The other thing was that the son in the family, Lurch, he was an adult but had a child-like mind and took everything very literally but without question. His mother Bertha didn’t mind that one bit because it kept things working smoothly without conflict. Well, one dark and stormy night, Bertha was in the kitchen toiling over pots and pans to prepare supper. She saw Lurch walk by and motioned for him to come hither. She quickly scribbled a note with just four words on it and nodded her head toward the stairs. Lurch looked at the note bewildered but without question, turned and walked up the steps to where his Grandmother lay resting. Bertha, consumed in cooking and distracted by the wind and rain outside didn’t hear the screaming of her mother. A few minutes later Lurch returned with blood around his mouth and streaked across his chest, holding bits of body parts from his slain grandmother. Bertha screamed in shock, disgust, and fury. “What have you done!?” she shouted uncharacteristically breaking her usual silence. Lurch, confused, pulled out the slip of paper and held it out, “Time to eat Grandma” it read… But, it was missing a comma after the word eat! Bertha learned the hard way that very night just how important punctuation is. Good grammar saves lives. --- Well, with this gruesome and sad but most likely true story, I want to commend you for listening to this podcast and searching for more insight on improving your writing. It’s more important than you may think. See you next week when we’ll find more ways to write copy that pops (and is found by search engines!)... Words (even if few) really do matter! Here's a quick tip on writing preview text or snippet copy that captivate the reader immediately... even if they only see the first few words on a Google search or in iTunes! A few exciting highlights include: - How to think about engaging your reader and listener in just the first few words of your short copy. - Meta descriptions: what they are, how to update them, and ways to leverage their effectiveness keeping psychology in mind. - How to use a free plugin to improve your meta data, snippet text copy, and more! The Psychology of Snippet Text: Here are the (loose) transcripts from this episode, in case you'd like to read as you listen or see the images referenced during the show: Welcome to Copy That Pops!...I’m your host LaptopLaura. And lately we’ve had some great but LONG interviews with a heavy focus on book writing. I wanted to share a short episode with you around psychology of a spot with very short writing.. And that is a ‘snippet’ or ‘preview’ text. We’ll look at two examples to demonstrate...but keep this in mind for any spot where just a short bit of text is displayed…. Two examples: 1. Episode description in itunes for podcasts 2. Meta description / snippet text for blog posts Install Yoast SEO plugin (free version) Let’s you see -- when you scroll down on a post -- a ‘snippet preview’ or what ppl will see when your post shows up in google search You can put in a focus keyword and see an analysis of how that post is doing SEO-wise Here’s a screenshot of what a recent podcast episode post looked like with the Yoast plugin … this is episode 88 with Marc Mawhinney called “Profitable, Polarizing, and Proud Coaching [No Paid Advertising Required] with Marc Mawhinney” Some good things it tells me are… [Laura reads from some of the green items in the photo below] Some bad things I can improve are… [Laura reads some items in red and orange from the photo below] So, before making any changes to the post, i just added a keyword of “coaching”...that’s a bit too broad for great SEO, but I’m going to use it in this example because it’s a keyword that showed up in the title already. Now, it gives me even more advice for how to improve like: The big one for our purposes on this show today is “No meta description has been specified. Search engines will display copy from the page instead.” So, right now it reads: “Story: 10 seconds left in the game…” This isn’t terrible, but the keyword “coaching” doesn’t appear...and maybe we don’t want “Story:” to be in that... So, let’s change the meta description to Now I’m getting more green lights showing that things are more optimized for search engines. Plus, I tried to write the meta description in a way that would attract readers to want to click on the post to read more and listen to the show. Keep in mind both bots for search engines and humans for being enticing! If you want to learn even MORE about SEO...keep your eye out for an upcoming, in depth episode with Andrew Steven of High Voltage SEO. Where I know 20%, he knows 100%!
