Nebraska finishes 6-6 after falling to the Iowa Hawkeyes 13-10 on Friday night in Iowa City.  From pre-game shenanigans to missed opportunities while the clock was running, all-in-all it was an ugly day in an ugly state surrounded by ugly people.  The defense was solid with the exception of the screen pass to Caleb Johnson that was the Hawkeyes' lone touchdown. But it wasn't enough to overcome passes either overthrown or missed and bad special teams play. How did the Hawkeye Hicks treat our beloved Hoss, who attended the game in Iowa City for the second time in a row?  The big OVERreaction after Friday was going down the list of people to fire. While we expect some changes to the coaching staff for one reason or another, it should be noted that none of the main players are likely to go anywhere (this assumes Dana Holgorsen's agreeing to stay in Lincoln after this season, which...he should).  GBR...always.

The way the Yankees went out, on their own field, was embarrassing. The combination of Gerrit Cole not covering first, and Anthony Rizzo not hustling to first was horrendous. Cole was pitching so great. Rizzo gave a speech to the team the game before. Gio is defending Rizzo for fielding a ball that was spinning in a very odd way and he wanted to make sure he secured the ball. Your $36 million man can't even cover first base. Even after the disastrous fifth inning, they came back and took the lead. Walks and sac flies did them in after that. Boomer doesn't like players ‘butterflying through life'. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with John Sterling on the call as Aaron Judge dropped a fly ball in center. We then heard the Volpe throwing error in the same inning. We then heard from Sterling as Cole didn't cover first base on the Mookie Betts grounder. Then Freddie Freeman had a 2-run single. Then Hernandez hit a ball over Judge's head and the game was suddenly tied 5-5. After the game Aaron Boone said he was ‘heartbroken'. Judge talked about the drop after the game. Gerrit Cole was asked about not covering first. In the final segment of the hour, last night was a ‘never forget type night' for Yankees fans. Juan Soto was asked about free agency after the game and he said all 30 teams are options for him. Boomer said he should have realized it was right after a World Series loss. As much as you care about your team, you will never get that from most players on your team.

Will May 19th Be A Dark Day for the World?  Richard Ruhling As we continue to watch, literally, the world going to hell in a handbasket right now, many people are wondering if this is actually the days leading up to the return of Jesus. If so – how close are we? Our guest today has been on several times before as we look at subjects which the Bible tells us to be aware of – but is anybody listening? Dr. Richard Ruhling is back today to share with us somethings we need to be aware of that may occur in the very, very near future. About a month or so ago, Dr. Ruhling was on where, during the course of the interview, we focused on the “2ndPassover” mentioned in the Bible. With that time now approaching, I wanted Dr. Ruhling to come back on the program and explain this for us again and discuss just how important it is for believers everywhere to recognize the importance of what shared. This is part two of a great two part interview with Dr. Richard Ruhling... At the end of the “10 Virgins Parable” – Jesus said you will not know the day or hour… but the Biblical year does not go from January to December, but from Spring to Spring. In addition, this refers to the “2nd Passover” which is allowed if you are “travelling” and not in Jerusalem for the 1stPassover of the year.  The “2nd Passover” is then held one month later. The DARK DAY – on May 19, 1780 – occurred and was believed it was a sign of the “Day of the Lord.” It was repeated 200 years later when Mt. St. Helen's erupted on May 19, 1980 and a volcanic ash cloud covered much of the Northwest USA. The 10th Day (that Noah entered the Ark) corresponds to next May 19 – in 2024 - to the DAY.  So “SOMETHING” is going to happen on that day! The “Goodman of the House” parable also refers to the 2nd Passover! You believe there will be an attack on Jerusalem very soon and, when it happens, a dark day will occur… It could be Iran entering Jerusalem; it could be an EMP attack – but “something” is going to happen on that day in May 2024.
