“More Leaks,” the fourth compilation album by Baton Rouge rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again (Kentrell Gaulden), dropped on March 7, 2025, via Never Broke Again and Motown Records, serving as a gritty send-off before his anticipated prison release later that summer. Clocking in at 48 minutes across 16 tracks, this project arrived while YoungBoy was still incarcerated, serving a 23-month sentence for federal gun charges stemming from a 2020 arrest in Louisiana, with additional legal woes tied to prescription drug fraud in Utah. Billed by his team as his “last project” before freedom, “More Leaks” compiles previously teased snippets and unreleased cuts, offering fans a raw, unfiltered glimpse into his relentless creative output despite confinement. The album kicks off with “Trapped Out,” a menacing opener that sets the tone with booming 808s and YoungBoy's signature raspy aggression, reflecting the claustrophobia of his legal battles. Tracks like “Rich Junkie” and “Cut Throat” maintain this high-octane energy, driven by producers like D-Roc and Jason “Cheese” Goldberg, who amplify the trap-heavy sound YoungBoy's built his empire on. The lead single, “5 Night,” released February 28, 2025, pairs a hypnotic beat with visuals of YoungBoy dancing beside a G-Wagon, a stark contrast to his prison reality. Posts on X from fans like @YoungboySnippet highlight the vault's depth, with one noting, “Shows how crazy his vault is man, stuff [has] been getting leaked for months and still has songs which are very good.” Indeed, the title “More Leaks” nods to this chaotic rollout, embracing the flood of unofficial releases that have kept his name buzzing. While “More Leaks” lacks the polish of albums like “Sincerely, Kentrell” (2021), it compensates with raw intensity. Tracks like “Never Stopping” and “Meet the Reaper,” briefly available before being yanked from Spotify post-leak, resurface here, satisfying diehards who've tracked his every move. The production leans minimalist—think distorted bass and eerie synths—mirroring his isolated mindset, though some criticize its lack of variety. HotNewHipHop called it a “love-it-or-hate-it album,” noting its appeal to fans craving aggression over evolution. Features are sparse, with only a rumored Lil Baby verse on “Lost Soul” making the cut, keeping the focus squarely on YoungBoy's unapologetic delivery.Thematically, “More Leaks” wrestles with fame's weight and street loyalty, though introspection takes a backseat to bravado. Lines like “I'm still thuggin' ‘til I'm gone” from “Cut Throat” underscore his defiance, a sentiment echoed in his legal saga—pleading guilty yet dodging harsher penalties via a global settlement. Billboard reported its debut at #3 on the Top Rap Albums chart, a testament to his loyal fanbase, even as critics argue it's more a stopgap than a statement. Recorded partly before his December 2024 sentencing, the album's sound quality impressed peers like engineer Jason Goldberg, who lauded similar prison-recorded efforts on the “Ray Daniels Presents” show.As of March 27, 2025, with YoungBoy reportedly released early on March 24 from Talladega, Alabama, per HipHopDX, “More Leaks” bridges his incarceration and freedom. It's not his strongest work—lacking the cohesion of “Top” (2020)—but its chaotic energy mirrors his life, making it a fitting cap to a turbulent chapter.

As his streams, views and likes climb with every drop and his hit list of features turns from big timers like Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Quavo and YG into legendary icons like Nas and Wu-Tang Clan, this Armenian, LA-born, Amsterdam-raised artist raps as the voice of his people. After graduating UCLA, finishing Pharmacy school and starting 9-5 work as a pharmacist, R-Mean met a major fork in the road; when his right hand man and business partner Alex Kodo sat him down and asked him to decide if he was ready to risk everything for music. They gave up everything, their cars, apartments, nights out, personal wants, and invested every resource to start grinding out gold. From the early buzz of his first project Broken Water, to the next level waves of his tracks “Lost Angels” feat. The Game to Wu- Tang Clan recruiting him to appear on their 2017 album. The Saga Continues to then performing weekly on B-Real TV after attracting the attention of Cypress Hill's B- Real, R-Mean consistently leveled up. In 2020 he teamed up with Berner for the fiery joint project. The Warning powered by "On God” feat. Dave East and "Kings" feat. Wiz Khalifa & B- Real, meanwhile packing out shows and tours across the US and Canada, performing on festival stages like Rolling Loud [MIA, NY, and LA] while amassing a loyal following. BIO He then linked up with legendary producer Scott Storch [Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Megan Thee Stallion], reaching critical mass with their track “King James” feat. Jeremih hitting 4.3 million Spotify streams and getting licensed by ESPN, while R-Mean's latest single, “Yalla Habibi” feat. French Montana, has already claimed 1.6 million YouTube views, 1M Spotify streams and charted at #61 on the Urban Radio Charts in April 2022. After his tribute hit "Letter to the King", dedicated to his childhood hero Nas, R-Mean received a FaceTime call from the legend himself and the rest is history. Sharing stages and collaborating on the unreleased single "Candle of the Devil,” Nas has blessed R-Mean with a life changing verse, but more importantly his support. Receiving praise from Huffington Post, XXL, HotNewHipHop, and many more. R-Mean stays busy racking up tens of millions of streams and views, collaborating with some heavy hitters on his newly released Storch produced full-length debut, M.E.A.N., [Pentagon Records). But that is not all. The philanthropic side of R-Mean has earned the support of Cardi B, Post Malone and the late DMX just to name a few for his powerful movement “Open Wounds",which started from a song with the same title. R-Mean sold tens of thousands of t-shirts emblazoned with the phrase "Our Wounds Are Still Open" to raise awareness of the Armenian Genocide of 1.5 million people and decided to establish a non-profit to continue giving back to his community as well as open his own merchandise storefront, recording studio and art gallery "The Pentagon LA” to create a space for worldwide artists like himself - committed to building legacy in honor of Hip Hop forefathers like Nipsey Hussle and 2pac,who lived and died for the voice of their people. This is the legacy of R-Mean. A true testament to following your dream, believing in yourself and not stopping regardless of the hurdles, R- Mean is about to show the world that HE is the ONE!

Key Glock has returned with the sequel to his 2020 mixtape Yellow Tape, and like its predecessor, it comes completely featureless. The Memphis rapper has had one of the steadiest come ups these past few years. After aligning himself with Paper Route Empire CEO Young Dolph, the pair have collaborated relentlessly and released their Dum and Dummer project in 2019 which helped Key Glock gain even more exposure to the masses. From there, Glock put out the original Yellow Tape in 2020, which peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200 and included production contributions from Southside, Kenny Beats, and more. Yellow Tape 2, which has so far spawned the singles “Toolie,” “Ambition for Cash” and “Da Truth,” showcases Glock's evolution as a rapper, and will at times feature him alongside his alter ego, (or as he puts it on social media his “twin”), named Glizock. Production for the project will come from Tay Keith, Juicy J, Sosa 808, Budda Bless, and others. “I never liked doing sequels,” Glock said of the project in an interview with HotNewHipHop. “I never planned on even doing a sequel, but it's more of, like, a statement. That color, it was my great-grandmother's favorite color. Y'all look at it like it's yellow. I look at it like it's gold, ‘cause I'm a player. Glock continued, “But I just had to keep it going because the first one made so much of a statement, and I had to let ‘em know it's actually yellow tape. When you see yellow tape, you know what it means— caution, beware, something dumb happened, something about to happen. But I'm letting you know it's still yellow tape— this s*** still happening, still about to happen. Like for real.” --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/masseffect/support

Matt decided to ran away from his childhood home to in Carbondale to Chicago with his friend at the age of 14 years old. They both had 2 main common interests basketball and rapping. When they reached the age of 15 they realized that they will not become pro ball players, and they pursue a Gangster Rap dream. Matt's friend wasn't as serious so Matt pursued his dream. At the age of 16 on Christmas day Matt's Father invested into his son's Rap dream and gifted him with a professional recording studio. New Era never had time that he made bad music. Matt was extremely talented and his very first song was considered Hot by everyone. New Era went to high school with a famous rap artist who took a liking to him and eventually jump started his music career by recording New Era. New Era was featured on a few of the famous rap artist records and the famous rap artist hosted New Era debut mixtape. New Era was on the Radio, TV, etc. New Era had major helped from the famous artist, he sky rocketed as one of the hottest talents in his area. At the age of 18 New Era had features from Roscoe Dash, OJ Da Juiceman, CG(What It Dew)/Courtlin Jabrae, And Flo Malcom. He was featured on World Star, HotNewHipHop.com, The Future Of RnB, and had multiple records with over 50,000 Downloads. New Era dropped out of High School to pursue a career in music only to find out that the road to the rapping Industry was by far one of the most difficult paths. He realized to be a Gangster Rapper will be the most difficult path in the World. New Era was very motivated year after year New Era wrote, recorded, promoted and he did every single thing he could possibly do within the power of a very poor music budget to make a name for himself. New Era is very hungry. He has been blessed with a Major recording contract 14 years ago deservingly at the beginning of his music career. He never had any help of management or anything besides his Father blessing him with his recording studio. He had no one financially supporting him towards his music career. New Era literally became known all over his region by himself. He was writing, recording, producing, engineering, filming, film editing, graphic designing, promoting, and investing everything into himself. I believe soon it will pay off for Matt AKA NewEraTheKing he is talented, undiscovered talent in America.
