Marion Rothschopf-Herzogs Biografie beginnt im Mölltal wo sie auch heute wieder lebt. In ihrer Freizeit liebt sie es zu jäten und ihren Garten zu gestalten, dafür lässt sie auch tonnenschwere Steine wandern. Ihr Lebenslauf ist mit zwei Hauptmotiven – der Musik und dem Tourismus – komponiert. Sie besuchte das Musikgymnasium in Lienz und hatte einen besonderen Musiklehrer, der sie stark geprägt hat. Die Klarinette begleitet sie bis heute, obwohl das Instrument nicht ihre Liebe auf den ersten Blick war, sondern aus der Notwendigkeit heraus entsprang welches Instrument in der örtlichen Blasmusikkapelle benötigt wurde. Nach der Matura zog es sie als Au-pair nach Oxford und London. Dort musste sie erstmals auf eigenen Beinen stehen und entdeckte die Leidenschaft zu Reisen. Ursprünglich wollte Marion in London bleiben, doch ihr Weg führte zurück nach Österreich in die Tourismusschule Klessheim bei Salzburg. Während der Studienzeit führte sie ein Praktikum nach Italien an den Gardasee. Als Fremdenführerin hatte sie die wundervolle Aufgabe, Gäste in die Oper nach Verona zu begleiten. Es folgten Jahre der Wanderschaft in denen Marion viele Erfahrungen sammelte, bis die Geburt ihrer Tochter dazu führte, dass sie sesshaft wurde. Bei Rogner International fand sie einen familienfreundlichen Job mit spannenden und abwechslungsreichen Aufgaben, der ihr Spaß machte. Eigentlich gab es keinen Grund nach etwas Neuem Ausschau zu halten, bis sie 2007 auf die Ausschreibung für die Geschäftsführung der CMA – Carinthische Musik Akademie - aufmerksam wurde und diese ihr Interesse weckte. Mehrere Hearingrunden später begann Marion ihre Arbeit in einer Baustelle. Über 10 Jahre später empfang sie uns zum Interview. Mit ihrer Vision entwickelte sie das Stift Ossiach und die CMA zu einem Vorzeigebetrieb weit über die Grenzen Kärntens hinaus. Der Ort ist Treffpunkt und Plattform zugleich und verbindet alle möglichen Musiksparten miteinander. Als Frau in der ersten Reihe, darf Marion Gestalten und ermutigt im Gespräch, seinem Bauchgefühl zu folgen, sich ständig Weiterzubilden und ins Tun zu kommen und nicht nur davon zu träumen. Besonders Frauen brauchen Durchhaltevermögen, Mut und Klarheit um zum Erfolg zu kommen. Passend auch nach ihrem Lebensmotto: Immer vorwärts, nie zurück!

Herzog Zwei ist ein frühes Spiel für den MegaDrive und gilt mit seinem Hybrid-Gameplay aus Action und Strategie als einer der Vorläufer von Spielen wie Dune 2, als Urvater der Echtzeitstrategie. Der Titel kommt von dem hierzulande relativ unbekannten Studio Technosoft, das seinen größten Ruhm mit der Shoot-em-up-Serie Thunder Force erlangte. Technosoft, 1980 gegründet, war ein Veteran der japanischen PC-Spiele-Entwicklung und brachte einige Spiele für die Computer von NEC und Nippon Electric heraus; Herzog Zwei war erst das zweite Konsolenspiel des Unternehmens. This was a surprisingly decent week for January releases. Since we only had 5 games, we tossed in 3 more at the end that we wanted to include but either missed or didn't have the exact date for.
