Lukujonossa kokeilemme tänään kahta pitkään odottamaamme sarjaa, jotka ovat Daruma Matsuuran uusi seinenrymistely Steel of the Celestial Shadows sekä Alto Yukimuran rennon mukava shoujosarja Colette Decides to Die. --- Kommentoi | Threads | Mastodon | Bluesky | X | Instagram --- (01:12) – KUULUMISET: DESUCON FROSTBITE 2025 - Desucon Frostbiten ohjelmakartta (03:49) – KUULUMISET: VUODEN 2024 ANIMET - TsumaSho - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Sengoku Youko - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Jakso 70, jossa puhuimme sarjasta Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer - Jakso 99, jossa puhuimme sarjasta Spirit Circle - Frieren: Beyond Journey's End - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Jakso 87, jossa puhuimme ajankohtaisosiossa Shonen Sunday -lehden suunnanmuutoksesta - Jakson 26 taistelukohtaus (YouTube) - Mysterious Disappearances - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Otherside Picnic - Ai Fairouz - The Apothecary Diaries - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Yatagarasu - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Delicious in Dungeon - Sarja Netflixissä - Jakso 9, jossa puhuimme sarjasta - Netflix ehti jo tätä ennen julkaista viikoittain sarjat: - Komi Can't Communicate, syksy 2021 (latecast) - Blue Period, syksy 2021 (latecast) - Uncle From Another World, kesä 2022 - Vinland Saga 2, talvi 2023 - My Happy Marriage, kesä 2023 - The Magical Girl and Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Inu × Boku SS - As Miss Beelzebub Likes - Dan Da Dan - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - Jakso 62, jonka kuulijakommenttiosiossa puhuimme mangan alusta - Science Saru -studio - Yakuza Fiancé - Sarja Crunchyrollissa - OP (YouTube) - ED (YouTube) - Kuroshitsuji: Public School Arc OP (YouTube) (35:45) – PÄÄHENKILÖT: ESITTELY – Jakso 76, jossa puhuimme pahiksista (36:48) – PÄÄHENKILÖT: TERMIMÄÄRITTELYITÄ – Lani Diane Richin How Story Works -kirja avoimessa levityksessä Richin nettisivuilla ja äänikirja samannimisen podcastin uusimpina jaksoina (alkaen jaksosta nimeltä “How Story Works: The Audiobook“) – Jakso 16, jossa puhuimme sarjasta Takane & Hana –The Lancer -arkkityyppi – Caesar Antonio Zeppeli – Yona of the Dawn Antisankareita: – Lupin III – Jakso 103, jossa puhuimme siitä, että One Piecen Nereidisaari-juonikaaressa Olkihatut eivät halua olla sankareita – Trafalgar Law (One Piece) – Kiritsugu Emiya (Fate/Zero) – Ciel Phantomhive (Kuroshitsuji) – Jakso 50, jossa puhuimme Kuroshitsujista Pahisprotagonisteja: – Light Yagami – Zera (Lychee Light Club) – Pahisprotagonistin ja antisankarin eroa mietimme myös jakson 102 keskustelussa Lychee Light Clubista – Sebastian (Kuroshitsuji) (54:48) – PÄÄHENKILÖT: PÄÄHENKILÖT JOTKA KATSOVAT JA JOITA KATSOTAAN – JoJo Part 4:ssa Josuke Higashikata ja Kooichi Hirase muodosta vanhemmille shounen-sarjoille tyypillisen päähenkilöparivaljakon, jossa Kooichi on samaistuttava näkökulmapäähenkilö ja Josuke on todellinen päähenkilö, jonka lukija näkee Kooichin silmien kautta Shounen-romansseja, joissa poika on päähenkilö, joka katsoo ja tyttö on päähenkilö, jota katsotaan: – Fly Me to the Moon – Komi Can't Communicate – Call of the Night – The Dangers in My Heart Sama toimii myös shoujo-romansseissa toiseen suuntaan: – Jakso 40, jossa puhuimme sarjasta Aoha Ride – Numasugite mohaya koi – Wild Adapter Mainittuja pelisovituksia: – Brothers Conflict – Idolish7 (01:07:45) – PÄÄHENKILÖT: PÄÄHENKILÖ- JA ENSEMBLE-VETOISUUS – Tyypillisesti päähenkilövetoisia genrejä: – Narou-kei-tyyliä edustavat ranobet, joista puhuimme jaksossa 51 –The Rising of the Shield Hero – Romanssit –Tyypillisesti ensemble-vetoisia genrejä: – Shounen-toimintasarjat – Neoshounensarjat – Karneval – K-On!

We finished all 48 episodes of season 2 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I don't know what's more impressive: getting John to finally finish season 2 or getting Jessie to drink more coffee? What do the Sippers think about Jotaro and his group? What do you think about this season and how Bizarre is it really? Do not forget to try the Jojo Jam quiz. The year is 1999. Morioh, a normally quiet and peaceful town, has recently become a hotbed of strange activity. Jotaro Kujo, now a marine biologist, heads to the mysterious town to meet Josuke Higashikata. While the two may seem like strangers at first, Josuke is actually the illegitimate child of Jotaro's grandfather, Joseph Joestar. When they meet, Jotaro realizes that he may have more in common with Jousuke than just a blood relation. Along with the mild-mannered Kouichi Hirose and the boisterous Okuyasu Nijimura, the group dedicates themselves to investigating recent disappearances and other suspicious occurrences within Morioh. Aided by the power of Stands, the four men will encounter danger at every street corner, as it is up to them to unravel the town's secrets, before another occurs. https://myanimelist.net Spotify link: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2qpJul4JOWQ5y8InvRM0rn?si=a878e21a46f14257

Nesta conversa, a jornalista Gabriela Mayer, apresentadora do podcast, recebe a diretora cultural da Japan House São Paulo, Natasha Barzaghi Geenen, e o empresário e fotógrafo Vinícius Neves. RIP Kira, he deserved be—no, actually, he deserved exactly what he got. Once again, the throbbing sexuality of the Mona Lisa drives an erstwhile-innocent youth into a life of lustful crime. Jotaro is bad at giving positive communication to his romantic partners. (...look, the Jotaro/Koichi ship basically built itself.) A dog in JoJo’s finally sees some goddamn justice. Josuke takes after his father in the ways that matter: wallet theft. And everyone basically lives happily ever after...except for the inexorable, crushing emotional impact on the families of all those murdered people. -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! It’s a time loop! Who doesn’t love a time loop? (...probably Hayato.) Killer Queen evolves yet another power because why not? Rohan, Jotaro, and Koichi have a perfectly nice date together. Josuke temporarily develops hamon powers, because why not. Okuyasu...dies? Sure, we’ll go with that. The fact that people can’t see Stands if they don’t have one continues to bear comedy fruit. And Hayato continues to live through what is probably going to be the worst day of his life, but at least he’s our new Speedwagon (abs and all). -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! Behold, gentle listeners! We have compiled for you some juicy bonus content of Mik and Auger talking about all their favorite animes. Those featured in this bonus episode include: One Piece, Homestuck, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Hero Academia, My Brother, My Brother, And Me, and Metalocalypse. Oh, and we talk shit on the creative minds behind Trailer Park Boys, briefly. We talk in depth about: skeleton job interviews, Okuyasu is a Very Good Boy, how Josuke and Jolyne are related, What's The Deal With Katsuki Bakugou, and a few other tasty miscellaneous media morsels. Trans rights!! Oh and the song featured in one of the middle break sections is 'Freeze Me' by Death From Above 1979!Support the show (https://ko-fi.com/runningfastandlookingcool#)
Rohan attempts to seduce his extremely anxious architect. Enigma Boy has the best stand if you fly economy. New Year's is important in Japan but it seem extra important in Morioh on this particular day in July. Morioh's tourism board thinks an introvert in a tower is a family-friendly destination. We have even more bathroom discourse this week, thanks Araki. Josuke rides his motorcyle into Morioh's shitty hospital for shitty people, where the most expensive medicine is kept on the highest shelves. Enya was clearly the host of the long-running 80s show Asian Evil Laugh Idol. Yuya's gay face betrays his sukeban harem. Today we establish that this is an unapologetically anti-wealthy teen podcast. We meet a bank employee who doesn’t have a Stand but *does* have an extremely fine-tuned bullshit detector. Josuke has never had a pen run out of ink, thanks to Crazy Diamond (I guess? This is a pathetic bonus power). Okuyasu just full on haymakers a child in the face but it’s fine because that kid has arguably the best Stand on the show. And just as all days end in Y, all episodes with Okuyasu involve him weeping like a small lost child (and we love it). -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! When you think about it, it’s pretty remarkable that there’s anyone left in Morioh who *hasn’t* been murdered by one of the many, many serial killers active in the town. Koichi continues to be a disappointment as a Stand user, this time getting shown up by a middle school kid. If I *had* to have a Stand, I could do a lot worse than Harvest. Okuyasu and Josuke bond over scamming children, which is the key to any good relationship. And we learn some of the finer points of verbal contract agreements, namely that they‘re not great, at least when entering into one with a literal child. -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! It’s “new outfit for Jotaro” day! New Outfit for Jotaro Day is one of the best days of any year. We get to talk about pure heterosexual love, and also how easily Josuke is distracted by balls. Jotaro has very poor phone manners, an extremely high pain threshold, and a heretofore unknown passion for Rat Science. Common vermin: yet another living thing that has more strength of character than Koichi. And it’s possible, nay, *probable* that this entire episode is a convoluted courting ritual for Jotaro and Rohan. -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! This week we have a lot to say about Rohan, mostly because Araki is physically incapable of creating side projects about any other character (only a slight exaggeration). We have a new opening credits animation to dissect at length. Josuke and his friends are the kind of committed delinquents who will never set foot in a classroom again. Half the characters are suffering through some kind of dissociative episode but it all works out, probably. And it turns out Josuke’s hair is one of the queerest parts of him, which is saying something. -- JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! Either you love it, or you've never seen it. Are you horny for manga? Then do we have a character for YOU. This week we meet Araki's self-insert fanfic character, and he's perfect. Rohan's stand...h-how does it work? Is there someone we *won't* ship Rohan with? (Spoiler: yes, and it's Josuke.) Is there an animal that Rohan *wouldn't* torture? (Spoiler: ...probably not.) Koichi canonically weighs as much as Darius as a kindergartner. Heaven's Door is possibly the perfect balance of creepy and good. Hello, who here is ready to talk about the average speed of a single electron? Great, because that’s what we’ve got for you when forced to discuss Red Hot Chili Pepper, maybe the most basic bitch stand in part 4. Josuke‘s mom should absolutely win Mother of the Year. This episode is a JoJo's otome game starring Koichi Hirose as our dead-eyed protagonist and Yukako Yamagishi as his shitbag boyfriend. Araki slowly but surely improves at writing women, in this instance by introducing us to a very good girl who does nothing wrong. You know, just some light kidnapping, force feeding, and nonconsensual shibari. Josuke and Okuyasu spend way more time with Koichi than Koichi spends with them and it's adorable. Welcome to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, a show about manifesting your personal will as a physical being and then trying to bang it out with them. Araki should switch gears and become a dj, that’s where the real career longevity is. The villain this week is a creepy teen boy and shockingly, none of us are into him. Jotaro Kujo remains unkillable to a degree that he breaks the plot. Do you like rules? Do you like flesh buds? Well we are happy to announce there are a bunch of new rules about flesh buds. The Dio Organization exists and is canon, which proves the Pirate Club is real too. Japan's 1980s bubble economy impacted the criminal vampire underworld just as much as it did the debt ratio of asset-backed businesses. In this episode we finally confirm that stands are literally just puberty. We learn about even more bullshit things that stands can do. Okuyasu continues to be the best boy and Speedwagon Foundation scientists agree that he is 50% duckling. Koichi ovulates and Josuke kicks it across the room. Good morning and welcome to our podcast, which has pivoted to be 100% about magic archery now. I know we were all thinking, “this show is really missing a sense of the ridiculous” but fortunately Araki finally added a silly explanation for a thing. (For real though: the bow & arrow are Good.) We meet Okuyasu, the most wonderful boy in the world. Josuke’s character design was a painfully accurate representation of 1990s men’s hair trends.
