"What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life you desire isn't a lack of talent, confidence, or opportunity but a fear of being truly seen?" In this deeply powerful episode, Kute Blackson explores one of the most hidden fears we all carry: the fear of visibility. Beneath perfectionism, procrastination, self-doubt, and the endless search for the "right time" often lies something much deeper: The fear of judgment, rejection, misunderstanding, and even the fear of stepping into our own power. Kute reveals how childhood experiences and old survival patterns shape our relationship with self-expression, why the masks that once protected us can eventually become prisons, and how many of us unknowingly reject ourselves before the world ever has the chance. He unpacks the five hidden fears that keep us playing small and the subtle ways fear disguises itself as preparation, humility, and perfectionism. If you've ever felt called to share more of yourself, pursue a bigger vision, speak your truth, or step into a greater purpose, but found yourself hesitating, this episode will help you understand why. More importantly, it will show you how to move beyond fear with greater courage, authenticity, and self-trust. Because the world doesn't need a perfect version of you. It needs the real you. "One of the greatest tragedies in life is waking up one day and realizing you became who the world wanted… but never who you truly are." What if the life you're living was shaped by expectations you never consciously chose? In this powerful episode of Soul Talk, Kute Blackson invites you to confront one of the deepest questions of all: If life was a movie… whose script are you living? From childhood, many of us are conditioned to seek approval, play roles, and become versions of ourselves that feel acceptable, successful, or safe. But over time, constantly performing who you think you should be can disconnect you from who you truly are. This conversation explores how fear, conditioning, and the need for validation quietly shape your choices, relationships, dreams, and identity, often without you realizing it. Kute reveals why so many people feel empty even after achieving what they thought they wanted, and how living unconsciously according to someone else's script slowly drains your sense of aliveness, purpose, and freedom. More importantly, this episode is an invitation to pause and ask yourself whether the life you're building genuinely reflects your truth or whether you've simply become loyal to a role you outgrew long ago. If you've ever felt disconnected from yourself, trapped in expectations, or afraid to fully honor what your soul truly wants, this conversation may help you remember that your life was never meant to be a performance, it was meant to be authentically yours. "You're not lost. You're simply outgrowing the life that no longer fits who you're becoming." What do you do when your life looks fine on the outside but something inside you knows it no longer fits? There are moments in life where nothing is obviously "wrong," yet everything feels slightly off. The things that once excited you no longer move you. The roles you've been playing feel heavier. And a quiet voice within begins to ask deeper questions you can't ignore. In this episode of Soul Talk, Kute Blackson explores one of the most misunderstood phases of growth the space between who you've been and who you're becoming. This isn't a breakdown. It's a transition. And yet, it can feel confusing, isolating, and even unsettling. You may find yourself questioning your path, your relationships, or your sense of purpose without having clear answers about what comes next. Kute unpacks why this stage feels the way it does, how familiar patterns and internal resistance can keep you stuck, and what's really happening beneath the surface when your old life starts to lose its meaning. More importantly, this episode offers a grounded, practical roadmap for navigating this in-between space with clarity and trust. "The pain you're trying to escape might be the purpose you're meant to live." In this powerful Soultalk episode, Kute sits down with the visionary, entrepreneur, philanthropist, Co-founder of Paul Mithcell Sytems, John Paul DeJoria. He doesn't just talk about purpose like a slogan, he talks about it like a man who earned it. In this Soul talk episode, he shares the real story behind sleeping in his car, getting fired multiple times, and building Paul Mitchell into a global empire without losing his humanity, his faith, or his heart. What makes this conversation different is how practical it is. JP breaks down how purpose often reveals itself through rejection, how to keep moving when everything collapses, and why your "worst moments" may be the exact training ground you'll someday use to lift others. This isn't motivational fluff, it's a lived philosophy forged in hardship. If you've ever felt lost, behind, rejected, or afraid to start because you don't have a perfect plan… this is the reset you didn't know you needed. JP's message is simple: your purpose isn't to avoid failure, it's to learn, rise, and give back with what you've lived. What if rejection isn't stopping you… but trying to redirect you? Where are the real opportunities right now and why are most people missing them? Kute Blackson has spent 20 years teaching surrender to billionaires, CEOs, and peak performers. And his central claim is one most high-achievers resist: the reason you're not receiving what you want is because you're holding it too tightly. This conversation is also the story of how Celinne and Kute's paths crossed a decade before they ever spoke — and why that serendipity is proof of exactly what they're discussing. In this conversation, Kute and Celinne explore what it actually means to surrender when you have payroll to make, goals to hit, and an entire identity built on making things happen. You'll hear how to tell the difference between following your soul and following your conditioning, why truth-telling is the first step of transformation (no action required), and what becomes available when you stop manifesting peanuts and make room for the peanut farm. Most people want the magic. They want the miracles. They want the manifestation. They just don't want to surrender. In this episode of Why Isn't Everyone Doing This?, Emily sits down with Kute Blackson, bestselling author of The Magic of Surrender, transformational speaker, and one of the most electrifying teachers working today, for a conversation that reframes everything you think you know about manifestation, miracles, and letting go. Kute grew up in Ghana as the son of a miracle-working pastor. Blind people saw. Paralyzed people walked. That was just life. That extraordinary baseline of possibility is what he now teaches, and this episode is his most personal conversation yet. For the first time publicly, Kute shares how learning his father's darkest secrets after his death sent him into a whole new layer of grief, anger, and forgiveness. And how choosing to love a difficult man without condition, across five years of daily phone calls, ultimately freed his newborn son from carrying the weight of generational karma. This episode is for anyone who's done the inner work but still feels like something hasn't landed. Who's manifesting from conditioning, not soul truth. Who wants the magic but hasn't fully let go. In this episode, they explore: – Why surrender isn't weakness, it's the most powerful force in manifestation – The “peanut” trap: how conditioning makes us cling to small dreams while the universe has something bigger – How Kute grew up in a world where miracles were ordinary, and what that taught him about possibility – Why spiritual transcendence without emotional integration creates the shadow side of gurus – The five-year daily phone call with his father that healed a generational wound – What his father's soul said to him in meditation after death, and why it made him weep – How lovemaking is the perfect metaphor for surrendering into life – The shift from “goal setting” to “soul setting” Key Moments: 00:00 — Manifesting the peanut vs. the peanut farm 01:03 — Welcome & introducing Kute Blackson 05:27 — What Kute is feeling in this moment of collective unveiling 09:00 — Healing as purification: why the darkness has to come up 20:00 — Fatherhood as spiritual practice: changing diapers is the new yoga mat 29:36 — Kute's origin story: born into miracles in Ghana 35:58 — Ordained at 14, successor to his father's church, without being asked 37:17 — Walking away at 18 with $800 and two suitcases 40:32 — Calling his father every day for five years and healing a lineage 45:07 — Finding out who his father really was, and having to forgive at a whole new level 50:22 — “I almost convinced you I'm not God”, the meditation that broke him open 01:01:40 — The missing feminine: why transcendence without integration breaks gurus 01:04:30 — Why isn't everyone surrendering? 01:06:15 — The lovemaking analogy that makes surrender make complete sense 01:20:00 — Kute's Boundless Bliss retreat in Bali & his books
"Scarcity is not about money; it's the fear that life is not supporting you." What if the reason nothing ever feels like enough has nothing to do with how much you have? In this deeply eye-opening episode of SoulTalk, Kute Blackson takes you beyond money, success, and external results into the hidden pattern quietly shaping your entire life: scarcity. You may be growing, achieving, and doing all the right things, yet still feel a subtle pressure, a tension, a sense that something is missing or could disappear at any moment. This episode reveals why that feeling persists and how it is less about your reality and more about how you have been conditioned to relate to life. Kute unpacks how scarcity is not just a mindset but a deeply ingrained way of being, shaped by your upbringing, your nervous system, and your early experiences of safety, support, and self-worth. You will begin to recognize how this pattern shows up in your daily decisions, your relationship to money, and your ability to receive. More importantly, you will see why working harder or thinking more positively has not created the shift you have been seeking. This is not about chasing more. It is about waking up. It is about seeing clearly the unconscious fear that may be driving your choices and realizing that the life you desire is not blocked, it is waiting for you to relate to it differently. If you have ever felt like you are doing everything you can yet still not experiencing the level of ease, freedom, or abundance you know is possible, this conversation will shift how you see your life and what is truly available to you. If you are ready to release the grip of not enough and reconnect with a deeper sense of trust, this episode may be exactly what you need right now. Why does "not enough" still follow you even when you're doing well? Do you actually trust life… or are you constantly bracing for loss? Are you making decisions from expansion or from fear? "You cannot bring peace to the world while you are at war with yourself." In this deeply moving episode of Soul Talk, kute delivers a powerful and timely message about the state of humanity and why, even in the middle of chaos, division, and collective fear, this may be the most important spiritual moment in human history. From global conflict and political polarization to collective trauma and hidden truths coming to the surface, Kute invites you to see the world not as something happening to us but as a mirror of our own consciousness. This episode is not about escaping reality. It's about transforming it, starting from within. Timestamps (00:02:41) – Humanity is experiencing a massive reset. (00:03:57) – We are in the greatest spiritual revolution in human history. (00:04:53) – The world is a mirror of our inner state and collective consciousness. In This Episode You Will Learn… Why the chaos in the world is not random, but a collective awakening in disguise. How the world you see is a direct mirror of your inner state. Why blaming leaders keeps you powerless and responsibility sets you free. The difference between talking about spirituality and living it through your actions. Why love is not weakness, but the most radical force for real change. Some Questions I Ask If the world is a mirror, what is it showing me about myself? "Your life is not blocked. It's perfectly reflecting the beliefs you haven't yet made conscious." What if the reason you're not moving forward has nothing to do with motivation, discipline, or effort and everything to do with an invisible script running beneath the surface of your life? In this deeply personal and illuminating episode of SoulTalk, I open a powerful conversation about the subconscious mind, the unseen force shaping your patterns in love, money, confidence, and self-worth. This is not another surface-level conversation about "positive thinking" or willpower. It's an invitation to look honestly at what's been quietly driving your choices, reactions, and results for years. Many of us are doing everything we know to do, setting intentions, working hard, visualizing change, yet still feel stuck in the same emotional or financial loops. In this episode, Kute explores why real change doesn't begin with forcing different behavior, but with making the unconscious conscious. He reveals how early conditioning, survival patterns, and unexamined beliefs can keep repeating themselves until they are seen, understood, and gently rewired. This conversation is for you if you've ever felt exhausted from trying to fix yourself on the surface, confused by why old patterns keep returning, or sensed that something deeper is asking to be acknowledged. Rather than offering quick fixes, this episode invites clarity, compassion, and a more honest relationship with yourself; the kind that creates lasting freedom. If you're ready to stop fighting yourself and start understanding what your life has been trying to show you, this episode may be the shift you've been waiting for. Listen now and discover what's really been shaping your reality and how awareness becomes the first step to true transformation. Timestamps (00:02:30) - The quiet frustration of doing "everything right" and still feeling stuck (00:05:00) - Where your life is actually being created (and why willpower can't reach it) (00:06:31) - How childhood conditioning becomes adult reality (00:09:46) - Why self-sabotage is a form of loyalty, not self-destruction (00:14:31) - Why affirmations fail when your body doesn't feel safe (00:18:46) - Awareness as the turning point, not judgment (00:22:31) - Emotional memory and subconscious rewiring (00:26:46) - Visualization as rehearsal for a new identity (00:29:31) - How your environment keeps confirming who you think you are (00:32:31) - Choosing freedom when familiarity no longer fits In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why your subconscious mind shapes most of your decisions How beliefs formed in childhood quietly govern adult behavior Why you recreate what feels familiar, not what feels aligned The real function of procrastination and self-sabotage Why awareness alone doesn't always create change How emotional safety influences success and abundance Ways to begin shifting patterns without force or self-blame How your surroundings continuously reinforce identity What conscious creation actually requires Some Questions I Ask: What am I unconsciously loyal to? What belief did I adopt before I had the capacity to question it? What feels unsafe about the life I say I want? What am I protecting myself from by staying the same? Who would I become if safety and freedom no longer felt like opposites? What story about myself has quietly been running my choices? "Don't live your life based in fear. Be courageous." (Erica Komisar) What if the deepest struggles we face as adults: anxiety, addiction, emotional emptiness, the constant need to prove ourselves, don't begin in adulthood at all? What if they begin in the earliest, most fragile years of life… when presence matters more than anything else? In this powerful episode of SoulTalk, I sit down with renowned psychoanalyst and parenting expert Erica Komisar for a conversation that challenges many of the assumptions we've been taught about success, independence, and what it truly means to raise emotionally healthy children. At the heart of this conversation is one radical and deeply confronting idea: human beings are born neurologically unfinished and the first three years of life are not optional when it comes to emotional development. Erica explains why a mother's physical presence acts as a child's external nervous system, how early emotional absence creates a quiet but lasting void, and why so many adults spend their lives unconsciously trying to fill it. We explore the differences between maternal and paternal roles, and the biological intelligence behind nurturing and play. Erica also speaks candidly about the cost of modern pressures, professional ego, and cultural narratives that undervalue caregiving, and how these forces have reshaped families in ways we are only now beginning to understand. Whether you are a parent, planning to become one, healing your own childhood, or simply curious about the roots of emotional well-being, this conversation will impact you. Timestamps (00:01:50) – Erica explains why mothers and fathers should not compete to perform the same tasks. (00:03:53) – An exploration of the concept that human infants are born nine months "too early" in terms of neurological fragility and require total vulnerability. .(00:05:32) - How a mother's physical presence regulates a baby's heartbeat, breathing, and emotional regulation. (00:07:43) - Why a child first sees and understands themselves by looking into the mother's eyes. (00:09:37) - Understanding the biological drivers behind maternal nurturing. (00:11:14) - How fathers use physical play to teach children how to regulate high levels of excitement and aggression. (00:17:04) - Erica challenges the modern notion that a parent can be "emotionally present" during the first three years without being physically present. (00:19:32) - A discussion on how early emotional absence creates a vacuum that adults often try to fill with technology, drugs, or eating disorders. (00:21:26) - A courageous look at whether the "need" to work is driven by survival or by ego gratification and the desire for materialism. (00:26:00) - Encouraging mothers to let go of professional ego and consider a "mommy track" to prioritize the critical early years of their children. (00:30:03) - How the feminist movement's dismissal of caretaking as "unproductive" disrupted family structures and impacted the development of young men. (00:34:01) - Insights from Erica's new book on how to avoid treating children as "possessions" or "weapons" during a separation. (00:39:15) – Three Wisdoms for Life: Erica shares her ultimate lessons: prioritize relationships, value interdependence over independence, and live a life driven by courage rather than fear. In this episode, you'll discover: Why the first three years of life are foundational to emotional regulation and mental health. How a parent's physical presence shapes a child's sense of safety, identity, and self-worth. Why emotional absence often shows up later as addiction, workaholism, or disconnection. The biological differences between maternal nurturing and paternal play and why both matter. A courageous reexamination of work, ego, and the fear of "falling behind". How to protect a child's emotional health during separation or divorce. Why interdependence, not hyper-independence, is the key to resilient human beings. Questions I Ask What is the "Fourth Trimester" and why are we born nine months too early? Is parenting a competition or a team exercise? Can you really be "emotionally present" if you are physically absent? What is the true origin of our "voids" and addictions? When we say we "have to work," is it for survival or for the ego? How do we stop weaponizing our children during a divorce? Should we be raising our children for independence or interdependence? How do we heal the "Mother Hunger"? "Consistency, not intensity, is what transforms a life." Every January, millions of people promise themselves that this will be the year everything changes. They set goals. They make declarations. They swear this time will be different. And yet by February, most resolutions are quietly abandoned, not because people are lazy, broken, or lacking discipline but because they've been taught the wrong model of change. In this powerful episode of SoulTalk, I invite you to look deeper, beyond willpower, hype, and the "New Year, New You" myth and into the real mechanics of lasting transformation. If you're tired of starting over… If you're done beating yourself up for "failing"… If you sense that something deeper is calling you forward… This episode is a compassionate wake-up call and a grounded roadmap for real, embodied change. We explore why behavior change alone never lasts, how identity shapes your results, why consistency always beats intensity, and how your environment may be quietly deciding your future. This isn't about forcing yourself to become someone else. It's about remembering who you already are and living from that truth. Timestamps (00:01:10) – Why most New Year's resolutions fail (and it's not your fault) (00:02:09) – Challenging the "New Year, New You" myth (00:03:12) – Invitation to the Purpose Summit 2026 (free global event) (00:05:27) – Why changing behavior alone never creates lasting change (00:07:20) – The real foundation of transformation: identity (00:08:31) – You can't outgrow your self-image (00:10:38) – Shift #2: The power of small, consistent actions (00:12:41) – How tiny habits compound into massive change (00:13:29) – Self-trust: the hidden key to confidence and momentum (00:14:32) – Shift #3: Your environment is shaping your future (00:16:28) – Designing a life that supports your highest self (00:17:59) – Who are you becoming in 2026? (00:19:06) – Let this be a year of purpose, boldness, and alignment In this Episode, you will learn: Why willpower alone is never enough to create lasting change The real reason New Year's resolutions don't stick How your identity silently controls your results Why consistency beats intensity every single time How small daily actions rewire your brain and build self-trust The role your environment plays in success, habits, and self-sabotage How to stop chasing goals — and start magnetizing them What it truly means to live from alignment instead of force Some Questions I Ask: Who do I need to become to live the life I desire? What version of me already lives this reality naturally? Where am I trying to fix myself instead of trusting myself? What small commitment can I keep daily, no matter my mood? Does my environment support who I'm becoming… or who I used to be? What is my soul inviting me to master in 2026? "Your feelings aren't the problem. They're the guidance." What if the real reason relationships hurt so much isn't who you're with, but how you relate to yourself? In this profound and eye-opening conversation, Dr. Margaret Paul, bestselling author and creator of Inner Bonding, joins Kute Blackson to dismantle some of the most common and damaging myths about love, relationships, self-worth, and responsibility. This episode goes far beyond romantic relationships. It dives into the invisible emotional systems we carry into marriage, parenting, friendships, spirituality, and even our sense of purpose. You'll discover why chemistry is often confused with love, why "being nice" can actually be self-betrayal, and how many of us unknowingly abandon ourselves; then, wonder why relationships feel exhausting, painful, or empty. Timestamps (00:02:30) - What a healthy relationship really is (getting love vs. sharing love) (00:05:18) - Why we're attracted to the wrong people (00:08:26) - Emotional responsibility in relationships (00:11:56) - Self-care vs. true self-love (00:14:59) - What the inner child actually is (00:19:54) - How to work with anger, desire, and intense emotions (00:28:49) - Perfectionism, control, and false beliefs (00:37:29) - Relationship systems that sabotage love (pull, resist, compliance) (00:40:35) - How self-betrayal affects health and vitality (00:42:11) - Discovering if relationships heal after infidelity (00:45:07) - "I did nothing wrong" and hidden dynamics (00:46:32) - Why compliance is not love Questions I Ask What actually defines a healthy relationship? Why do we keep choosing the same kind of partner even when it hurts? If no one is responsible for our happiness, what is our responsibility to each other in love? Can relationships truly recover from infidelity? And how? How do parents raise emotionally healthy children without creating dependence? Is compliance really a form of control? What advice would you give your younger self if you could start again? In This Episode, You'll Learn… Why love alone isn't enough to make a relationship work The difference between sharing love and needing it Why chemistry can feel powerful and still be destructive How self-abandonment silently sabotages intimacy Why being "nice" and compliant kills desire What emotional responsibility really means (and what it doesn't) Whether trust can be rebuilt after betrayal How learning to love yourself changes every relationship Get in Touch: Email me at kuteblackson@kuteblackson.com Visit my website: www.kuteblackson.com Resources with Kute Blackson: Purpose Summit: www.purposesummit2026.com Register now! "What you're avoiding may be exactly why you're here." We all procrastinate. But what if it's not because you're lazy or undisciplined… What if there's something deeper going on? In this episode of SoulTalk, I share a different way of understanding procrastination — one that's more honest, more compassionate, and more empowering. Instead of beating yourself up for the things you haven't done, we'll explore what might really be behind the delay. Sometimes, the very thing you're avoiding is the thing that could change your life. But there's a reason you're not doing it — and understanding that reason is the key to unlocking your next level. Whether you're putting off a difficult conversation, holding back on a big dream, or just stuck in your own head, this episode will help you get clarity, stop judging yourself, and finally move forward with greater purpose and peace. If you've ever thought, "Why do I keep doing this?" — this one's for you. → Listen now and discover what your procrastination has been trying to tell you all along. Timestamps: (00:01:00) – Procrastination reframed: not laziness, but a deeper signal (00:03:00) – The question that changes everything: what are you avoiding? (00:05:00) – Procrastination as self-protection and ego preservation (00:07:00) – Comfort vs. evolution: ego safety vs. soul growth (00:09:00) – Why clarity only comes after action (00:11:00) – Making peace with fear instead of fighting it (00:13:00) – Resistance as a sign of growth and expansion (00:15:00) – Small actions, imperfect steps, and real momentum (00:17:00) – You're not procrastinating because you're weak — you're powerful (00:18:30) – Final reflection, invitation, and closing message Some Questions I Ask What am I avoiding right now that I know would change my life? If I stopped procrastinating, who would I have to stop being? What am I really afraid would happen if I succeeded? Is my perfectionism actually fear disguised as preparation? What part of me is trying to stay safe — and what part of me is ready to grow? What is one small action I can take in the next 24 hours? What is procrastination costing me emotionally, spiritually, and in my future? In This Episode You Will Learn Why procrastination is often the ego's last line of defense. The hidden fear behind perfectionism and over-preparation. Why clarity doesn't come before action — it comes from action. How small, aligned steps create massive transformation. What if the life you're trying so hard to create is actually waiting for you to surrender? If you've been forcing, hustling, or gripping tightly to the way you think things should look – this conversation will set you free. In today's episode of Healing + Human Potential, we explore one of the most unexpected paradoxes on the spiritual path: that true manifestation doesn't come from control, effort, or perfect visualization, but from surrender. We dive into what surrender really means: not giving up, not shrinking, not becoming passive, but aligning with the deeper intelligence that's already guiding your life. We're joined by inspirational speaker and bestselling author Kute Blackson, who breaks down how true surrender opens the door to a level of love, abundance, clarity, and freedom the ego could never create on its own. Together, we explore the dance between creating and allowing, the fear that arises when we release control, and how to trust the flow that's always been there. Kute's wisdom will invite you to question everything you've ever believed about manifestation – especially the idea that you need to "make things happen." === If you need a practice to come home to yourself, try this meditation for 30 days & watch your life shift: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/10-minutes-to-shift-from-overwhelm-to-inner-peace-abundance/id1705626495?i=1000738341998 === Want one of the most Powerful Tools to Support you in Awakening & Manifesting Your Dream Life from the Inside Out (for Free)? "You are the one your ancestors have been praying would come, to shift things for future generations." Have you ever wondered why certain patterns seem to repeat in your life, no matter how hard you try to change? Maybe you keep attracting the same relationships, struggling with the same fears, or feeling emotions that don't even seem like yours. In this episode of Soul Talk, I reveal the deeper truth about ancestral trauma, the invisible wounds passed down through generations, and how to finally free yourself from them. You'll learn how to recognize what you've inherited, release what no longer serves you, and create a new legacy of love and light for those who come after you. You'll discover how unprocessed emotions, beliefs, and pain can live in your DNA, shaping your patterns without your awareness. I'll guide you through powerful steps to acknowledge your lineage, honor your ancestors, and break the energetic "loyalty contracts" that have kept you small. We'll explore sacred wisdom from African, Japanese, and indigenous traditions that show us how to reconnect with our roots and invite the blessings of those who came before us. And you'll remember: you are not here to carry your ancestors' pain, you're here to transform it. Listen closely, and you'll awaken to this truth: you are the bridge between the past and the future. You are the one your ancestors prayed for. When you heal yourself, you heal generations before you, and those yet to come. Timestamps: (00:01:44) - What you carry might not be yours: the unseen roots of ancestral trauma. (00:06:02) - You are the bloodline breaker: understanding your sacred assignment. Some questions I ask: Why do we repeat certain emotional and relationship patterns across generations? How can ancestral trauma influence success, love, or self-worth? What are some signs that you might be carrying inherited energy? How do different cultures honor their ancestors? What practical steps can you take to begin healing your lineage? How do we transform inherited pain into freedom and blessing? In this episode, you will learn about: How to Recognize Generational Patterns That Hold You Back Understanding. How unresolved trauma from your parents, grandparents, and ancestors can shape your emotions. Five actionable practices that help you release inherited pain and step into emotional and spiritual freedom. Why Honoring Your Ancestors Unlocks Inner Peace and Power. “The degree of magic you experience in your life will be in direct proportion to the degree you surrender and let go.” Hey friend, My name is Arlina and I'll be your host. I actually have a quick story for you to tell you about today's guest. You may have heard me say that I've been feeling burned out, so I decided to take time off to do a “self-care summer”. I had 3 months worth of amazing interviews pre recorded, I wasn't taking on new clients and the plan was to focus on quieting my mind so that I could listen for God's will for me and to pay attention to what brings me joy. Really, I have been in a state of surrender. This is where it gets interesting. Sometimes I have to book guests months in advance, and that's what happened with today's guest. So imagine my surprise when it's finally time to interview today's guest Kute Blackson, and guess what… his message is all about the magic of surrender! He said so many things that have absolutely been haunting me, but like in a good way. For instance he said that sometimes our wants come from wounds, which struck me like a lightening bolt. I can see how we want certain things like success or love, but if it comes from a place of an unhealed wound, that it carries an energy of neediness, grasping, chasing, and dysfunction. So anything that we create from that place, is ultimately not going to feel fulfilling - because the wound still exists! Emotional wounds are like a black vortex. There is no amount of drugs, alcohol, romantic love or achievement that will fill that hole. It needs to be healed. Such a powerful lesson! To give you a little more background on today's guest, Kute Blackson is a transformational teacher, inspirational speaker, and bestselling author of The Magic of Surrender and You.Are.The.One. Known for his deeply spiritual yet down-to-earth approach.. His work has been featured on Larry King Now, NPR, and Impact Theory. Kute empowers people to break free from the conditioning of the past, embrace their true nature, and live authentically—starting with the courage to surrender. So without further delay, please enjoy this episode with Kute, and as always, let me know what you think!
“Strength without allowing support often becomes self-abandonment.” Have you ever found yourself being the one everyone leans on, the strong one, the steady one, the one who always shows up? You're the rock, the caretaker, the leader. But beneath the surface, there's a quiet ache. A deep fatigue. A part of you is wondering, “When is it my turn to be held?” In this episode of Soul Talk, I open up about the hidden cost of strength. From my early years as the son of a healer and spiritual leader, to the emotional weight I carried as a child, I share how becoming the “strong one” became my identity, and how it nearly kept me from truly healing. We dive into the psychology of hyper-independence, the nervous system's response to unmet childhood needs, and why so many of us find it easier to give than to receive. This episode is a wake-up call for the silent warriors, the ones who show up for everyone but struggle to let anyone show up for them. Tune into this episode and learn how to release the pressure to be everything for everyone, reconnect to your own needs, and open your heart to receiving the love and support you deserve. True strength isn't about carrying it all alone. It's about being human. Vulnerable. Seen. You were never meant to do this life by yourself, and you don't have to anymore. What childhood roles or dynamics shape our hyper-independence? How does being strong all the time become self-abandonment? Why is receiving sometimes more vulnerable than giving? What small steps can we take to invite support into our lives? In this episode, you will learn about: Why constantly being the “strong one” can lead to hidden emotional exhaustion How childhood roles and early emotional conditioning shape your ability to receive love and support The surprising ways hyper-independence is actually a coping mechanism rooted in trauma How to recognize the unconscious beliefs that make asking for help feel unsafe or weak Why receiving is not a weakness, but a courageous act of trust, vulnerability, and healing Practical ways to soften your defenses, open your heart, and invite support into your life How allowing yourself to be supported transforms not only your relationships, but your entire capacity to thrive Get in Touch: Email me at kuteblackson@kuteblackson.com Visit my website: www.kuteblackson.com Resources with Kute Blackson: Kute's Life-changing Path to Abundance & Miracles: https://www.8levelsofgratitude.com Free masterclass: Learn The Manifestation secret to Remove Mental Blocks & Invisible Barriers to Attract The Life of Abundance You Desire. “Your soul doesn't run on human time. It runs on sacred time.” What if the pressure you feel to “hurry up” and have it all figured out… is based on a lie? In this episode of Soul Talk, I dive into one of the most painful illusions we've been taught: the belief that we're behind in life. Whether it's love, purpose, abundance, or healing, many of us are carrying a quiet grief. Grieving the timeline we thought we should be on. The milestones we expected to hit by now. The version of life our ego mapped out, but our soul never signed off on. We compare ourselves to others. We ask, “Did I miss my moment?” “Am I too late?” But here's the truth: You are not late. You are right on time. In this episode, I get real about what it means to trust your soul's divine timeline, even when things feel delayed, quiet, or unclear. I unpack how societal pressure, ego, and unhealed wounds drive us to rush, to push, to force outcomes. But what if your delay is not denial… but divine preparation? I share personal stories from my journey and powerful spiritual wisdom to help you stop measuring your worth by deadlines or outcomes, and start aligning with the rhythm of your soul, where peace lives, purpose flows, and real miracles unfold. If you've ever felt stuck, anxious, or unworthy because your life doesn't “look” like it's supposed to, this is your reminder: You are becoming. You are preparing. And the timing of your life is sacred Tune in and learn how to trust your path, reframe your waiting season, and finally release the pressure to be anywhere other than exactly where you are. Timestamps: (00:03:13) -Society's manufactured timelines and the myth of “being late” (00:04:32) - Why your delay is not a punishment but a preparation (00:06:24) - You cannot miss your destiny or screw up your divine timing (00:07:15) - The difference between linear time and soul time (00:08:26) - Surrender, patience, and divine trust (00:09:26) - Divine delays as protection and preparation (00:10:18) - A personal story: why Kute wasn't ready for love in his 20s (00:11:32) - Delay as divine grace and soul alignment (00:12:49) - Stop comparing your journey, trust your own soul's curriculum (00:13:35) - Delay forces surrender and identity growth (00:15:15) - Reframing your waiting season as strengthening (00:16:06) - You're not forgotten, your delay is not denial (00:17:18) - Why it will all make sense in time (00:18:11) - Don't settle for “it works”, wait for what's right (00:19:22) - Trust the unfolding; do not compromise Some questions I ask: Is it too late for me to manifest my dream? How can I stay grounded during long periods of waiting? What if I feel like I've missed my moment in life? Why does everyone else seem to be ahead? Can I trust the timing of my life even when nothing makes sense? In this episode, you will learn about: How to break free from the illusion that you're “running out of time” and start aligning with your soul's divine timing. Why delay is not denial, but a sacred part of your soul's preparation for purpose, prosperity, and expansion. The hidden spiritual reasons your dreams may not have manifested yet, and how to shift from frustration to faith and flow. What secure, grounded love actually feels like so you can attract healthy, lasting relationships. How to trust the unfolding of your journey and surrender control so you can receive abundance, love, clarity, and fulfillment in the right season. “You can evolve your destiny. That's why we study astrology, to take the high road of your nature.” What if the reason you're stuck, frustrated, or forcing life… isn't because something's wrong with you — but because you're out of alignment with your soul's true design? In this powerful episode of Soul Talk, I'm joined by renowned astrologer, psychotherapist, and spiritual teacher Debra Silverman, author of I Don't Believe in Astrology. Together, we explore how astrology isn't about superstition or prediction — it's about gaining deep permission to be who you were always meant to be. Debra breaks down how your rising sign reveals the keys to your destiny, the real difference between fate and free will, and what happens when you ignore your soul's contract. We talk about the signs of misalignment, why burnout and confusion are often spiritual wake-up calls, and how reconnecting with your unique energetic blueprint can unlock greater clarity, peace, and purpose. This conversation will give you a radically compassionate lens to understand yourself and others. You'll walk away with practical insights into how to stop chasing, forcing, and second-guessing—and instead start trusting your inner compass, living in sync with divine timing, and aligning with the life your soul intended. If you've ever felt like you're doing everything “right” but something still feels off… this episode is for you. What separates people who succeed from those who don't? Can you shift your timeline? What role does discipline play in spiritual evolution? In This Episode, You Will Learn: How your birth chart reveals the keys to your personality, purpose, and prosperity. “You don't manifest from pressure. You manifest from presence.” Do you know why your manifestations might not be showing up, even though you're doing all the right things? You've set the intentions. You've visualized, journaled, prayed, and affirmed. But still...something feels stuck. In today's episode of Soul Talk, I want to share with you what I believe is the missing link in manifestation, and it's probably not what you think. Most people are trying to manifest from their minds. From hustle. From willpower. But if your nervous system doesn't feel safe, if your body is living in survival mode, no amount of positive thinking will make it happen. Because you don't just manifest what you want. You manifest who you are. We're going beyond vision boards today. I'm breaking down the science of your brainwave states, beta, alpha, theta, and gamma, and showing you how they affect your ability to attract abundance, love, joy, and purpose. I'll walk you through a simple daily practice to shift your state, regulate your nervous system, and align your frequency with the life you're truly meant to live. This episode is an invitation to slow down. To come home to your body. To stop chasing and start becoming. Because manifestation isn't about doing more. It's about being the version of you that already has it. Listen to this episode and learn how to manifest from your soul, not stress. Timestamps: (00:04:19) - Why your manifestation may not be working. (00:05:23) -Manifestation is not about what you want, it's about who you are. (00:06:17) - What is the real missing link? Brainwave states explained. (00:07:22) - The problem with manifesting from the beta brainwave state. (00:11:24) - Transitioning into alpha: calm, present, and powerful. (00:13:36) - Theta brainwave: the true gateway to manifestation. (00:15:30) - Gamma brainwave: the miracle field and bliss consciousness. (00:17:43) - Why most people unknowingly repel what they want. (00:20:00) - Kute's powerful 3-minute morning practice to access theta. (00:22:52) - Affirmation technique: “This is already mine. I am already it. (00:22:38) - Match your frequency, not your effort. Some questions I ask: Why doesn't manifestation work even when you do all the “right” things? What role do brainwave states play in manifestation? How can you identify your current brainwave state? Which brainwave state is best for visualization and affirmations? How can you shift from a stress-driven (beta) state into a magnetic one? In this episode, you will learn about: Why doing all the manifestation techniques might still leave you stuck, and what's missing. The surprising science behind brainwaves and how they secretly influence your success, abundance, and reality. How to break free from stress-based thinking and shift into magnetic frequencies that attract love, money, joy, and purpose. The difference between beta and theta, and how to activate the state where miracles happen. Kute's simple 3-minute daily technique to rewire your subconscious, raise your vibration, and become a magnet for prosperity. How to stop chasing and start aligning, so abundance flows to you. How to embody the version of you who already has what you desire.
