Today's episode is for the person who feels that shift. The one who feels themselves changing… even if they can't fully explain how yet.Today we're talking about outgrowing people. Outgrowing environments. Outgrowing versions of your life that once felt like home.
Today's episode is a Wellness Business Club Member of the Month Spotlight and it's a proper heart-meets-strategy conversation. I'm joined by Sarah from Dragonfly Mindset, an empowerment coach and "pocket cheerleader" for anyone who wants more confidence, courage, and belief in what's possible. We talk about the messy middle of big life changes: leaving a career that no longer fits, grief as a catalyst, and the surprisingly common moment business owners hit where they realise they've started shrinking inside the niche they chose. If you've been feeling a bit boxed in, a bit "is this it?", or like you're trying to stay relatable by making yourself smaller… this one will land. What We Cover Sarah's transition from teaching to coaching, and why it stopped fitting after becoming a mum The role coaching played in shifting perfectionism, people pleasing, and self-trust Grief, perspective, and the question that changed everything: "If I only had 11 years left… what would I want my life to look like?" Why "niche down" can be helpful… and also quietly suffocating The moment Sarah realised she was holding herself back to stay relatable The difference between niching to a demographic vs niching to the feelings + transformation Core values and why misalignment shows up as exhaustion, resentment, and loss of spark "Glimmers", slowing down, and why your nervous system matters in business growth The journal prompts Sarah uses to reconnect to confidence and expansion Why mindset work is like gardening (maintenance matters) Journal Prompts From the Episode If you're feeling stuck, small, or a bit "meh", steal these: Where have I been shrinking recently when I could have been louder? What's made my body light up lately… and how can I lean into that more? What goal have I already achieved… but forgotten to celebrate? About Sarah (Dragonfly Mindset) Sarah is an empowerment coach helping people rebuild self-belief and confidence, and take courageous next steps in life and work. She's also created a set of audio "pocket cheerleader" resources for the days you need a boost, not another to-do list. Sarah's Resources Mentioned Sarah has created three audio collections: Calm Collection Gratitude Collection Confidence Collection Plus guided activations, journal prompts, affirmation cards, and phone backgrounds.
Your agency is working. But the way you're making decisions may no longer match where you actually want to go.From the outside, everything looks steady but inside, something feels heavier than it should. That heaviness often shows up when the business keeps operating in a way that made sense in the past, even though your perspective has started to shift. You see your work differently now, and the way the agency runs hasn't fully caught up.Maybe you're clearer about the clients who energize you.Clearer about the work that strengthens the business instead of just sustaining it.Clearer about what feels aligned and what quietly drains you.But clarity doesn't automatically reshape a business. There's often a stretch where your thinking evolves, but the business is still running on old patterns. Most owners move through this alone, feeling the friction but not yet knowing what to adjust. This episode continues the Small But Mighty series by exploring that in-between space—the gap between insight and intentional redesign. Inside, we explore: Why your agency can feel heavy even when it's successfulThe hidden gap between knowing what you want and running the business that wayHow old decision patterns keep you operating from an earlier version of your agencyWhat actually shifts when you start choosing work that aligns with the direction you want to growIf your agency looks successful but feels heavier to lead than it once did, this episode will help you understand the source of that heaviness and what's actually ready to shift.Want More Context? This episode is part of a series exploring what happens when your agency grows but the way you build it needs to evolve.Part 1 (Podcast): Two $1M Agencies. If your life feels uncomfortable, uncertain, or like you don't even recognize yourself right now, you are not alone. In this episode, we are diving deep into eclipse season, current planetary transitions, and the powerful identity shifts happening beneath the surface. So many women are being told to “manifest” during these cosmic seasons, but the truth is that eclipses are not about forcing outcomes. They are about realignment. They reveal what is no longer sustainable and invite you into a new version of yourself. And that process can feel confusing, emotional, and even destabilizing. In this conversation, we explore why you may feel stuck even though you know you've outgrown your old life, business, or identity. We talk about the subconscious patterns that keep you clinging to familiar timelines, the nervous system responses behind control and overworking, and why high-achieving women often struggle to let go of the very strategies that once made them successful. You'll learn how trauma responses like hyper-independence, perfectionism, and constant productivity can block alignment, and why these patterns tend to surface during major astrology transits. This episode also unpacks the grief that comes with transformation, the emotional process of releasing old identities, and the uncomfortable “in-between” phase where you no longer fit your past but your future hasn't fully formed yet. We also discuss practical tools to help you regulate your nervous system during periods of change, trust your intuition, and move through uncertainty without burning out. This is not about bypassing your emotions or rushing clarity. It's about learning to build internal safety so you can expand into the life and leadership you are truly meant for. Whether you are navigating a career pivot, relationship shift, spiritual awakening, or business evolution, this episode will help you understand what is happening on a deeper level. You'll walk away with insight, validation, and grounded guidance to support your next season of growth. If you've been feeling restless, disconnected, or called toward something new but don't know what that looks like yet, this conversation will remind you that you are not broken. You are evolving. Topics covered include: Eclipse season and identity transformation Astrology and subconscious reprogramming Nervous system regulation during change Trauma patterns and hyper-independence Spiritual growth and emotional healing How to let go of old versions of yourself Intuition, alignment, and feminine leadership Navigating uncertainty in life and business If this episode resonates, share it with a friend who is also in a season of change and growth.
What happens when success looks good on paper—but feels heavy behind the scenes? In this episode, Stacey sits down with longtime friend and seasoned short-term rental operator Beata Lawrence for a deeply honest conversation about leadership, loneliness, and the power of the right community. With over a decade in the STR industry, Beata shares what it was like building before there were playbooks, Facebook groups, or proven paths—and how connection became the missing ingredient that changed everything. This episode goes beyond tactics and into the emotional and identity shifts required to sustain success without burnout. We talk about:What it was really like building an STR business before community and resources existedWhy isolation is one of the biggest (and quietest) threats to successful entrepreneursThe concept of “borrowed courage” and why even confident leaders need itHow to recognize when you've outgrown a room—and what to do nextLetting go of properties, paths, or identities that no longer alignWhy alignment, nervous-system safety, and support matter more than scale aloneIf you've ever felt successful but unsupported, confident but quietly overwhelmed, or strong while still wishing someone could walk you off the ledge—this conversation is your reminder that community isn't a luxury. Send a textYou've Outgrown the RoomThere comes a moment when growth no longer feels exciting — it feels uncomfortable. In this episode, I explore what it really means to outgrow your current level. The rooms. The pricing. The conversations. The version of yourself you've been performing.Outgrowing isn't arrogance. It's awareness. We talk about:• The emotional discomfort of expansion• Why shrinking is often a self-protection strategy• The grief that comes with growth• How to recognise when it's time to reposition• Why capacity must match ambitionIf you've been feeling stretched, irritated or quietly dissatisfied — this conversation is for you. You're not lost. You're expanding.Reflection Questions:Where are you shrinking to maintain comfort? What would shift if you admitted you've outgrown this level? What kind of support does your next level require?Spotlight ExperienceIf this resonated, Spotlight Experience is where we refine your positioning, stabilise your authority and structure your next level with intention. This is not about visibility. It's about weight.Doors open March 26.Apply Here I would be so grateful if you could leave a 5 star review so this episode can make an impact in the lives of others just like you.Follow me on instagram @danniellerhimeslecointeEmail me Hello@danniellerhimeslecointe.com Want to work together? We've all been there: you spot a pair of designer shoes at 60% off. They look incredible, the brand is prestigious, and the deal is too good to pass up. But then you put them on. They pinch, they rub, and within ten minutes, you're limping. Was it really a bargain if you can't actually walk in them? In this episode of Personal Mastery Training, Alvin challenges us to look past the "discounts" we take in our own lives—the jobs, relationships, and roles that look great on paper but blister our souls. Key Highlights: The Wisdom of the Fit Quotes are "Condensed Wisdom": Don't just read a quote and post it; dissect it. A single sentence often represents a decade of someone else's struggle and triumph. The Illusion of the Bargain: A job that pays well or a role that offers "bragging rights" is a trap if it doesn't align with who you are. If it doesn't fit your soul, the price you paid—no matter how low—is too high. The "Second Shoe" Syndrome: Are you carrying a metaphorical backup pair of shoes? Many people work a "respectable" job all day (the tight shoe) while daydreaming about their side hustle or true passion (the comfy slipper). Living Someone Else's Blueprint: We often choose careers or lifestyles to please parents or society. You might be a doctor who secretly wants to be a bodybuilder; if you're living for someone else's approval, you're walking in shoes that will never break in. The Pain of the Wrong Fit: Just like physical shoes, the wrong life path causes "corns and calluses." If you can't wait to get home just so you can finally "be real," you're wearing the wrong size. Stop Limping, Start Living The world is full of people smiling through the pain of a life that doesn't fit. True mastery isn't about finding the best deal; it's about finding the right alignment. Don't settle for a "bargain" existence just because it was the easier path to take in the moment. Take a look at your "closet" today. If your current path is giving you blisters, it might be time to stop carrying the backup shoes and start wearing your passion full-time.
This is the part of growth that no one talks about. The messy middle (the sacred, stretchy space between who you were and who you're becoming) is something we're often not prepared for. During this time, you'll intuitively know something is changing, even if you haven't fully caught up with it yet. When you're in the messy middle, it's not about chasing the next thing. It's about embracing the process of an identity shift. There's no standard timeline. There's no correct pace. And as you proceed to new levels, the messy middle will show up again. Over time, you can learn to honor it as you navigate through. In this episode, you will learn about: What the messy middle feels like (even if you haven't noticed you're in it yet). Why pushing through the messy middle isn't the answer. Examples of how grief shows up when your identity is shifting. What my messy middle looked like and when my greatest moment of relief showed up. How to use the messy middle to integrate your next level of expansion. How the work of letting go can help you navigate the struggles of the messy middle. Why your nervous system needs to re-calibrate before you can embrace a new identity. What to do when you sense you're headed into times of high stress. Episode Title: Can I Make It?Some of us aren't blocked by fear. We're blocked by hesitation. In this episode of Road to Victory, Anthony gets honest about the real battle — getting out of bed, confronting self-talk, and recognizing how isolation quietly feeds self-destruction. What starts as losing a pair of EarPods turns into a deeper question: How am I really doing? This conversation unpacks:• The power of morning self-talk and how your brain obeys what you repeat• Why community is protection, not weakness• The psychology behind “line-cutters” and how old wounds shape present reactions• The life-changing question: Can I make it?• Outgrowing people — and the fear of being outgrown• Raising young men through modeling, not preaching• Why distraction isn't the same as disciplineThis isn't motivation. It's structure. It's identity reconstruction in real time.If you've been stuck in your head, stuck in your bed, or stuck in old versions of yourself — this episode is your wake-up call.Ask yourself:Can you make it?Press play.

Letting go of expectations you didn't consciously choose. Moving from overwhelmed operator to intentional CEO. And owning your next chapter instead of dragging the old one forward. If your business feels slightly misaligned, even if it's bringing in income …If you're craving more spaciousness, more structure, more calm leadership …If you know you've evolved but your business hasn't caught up yet …This episode will land.Because you didn't start your business to miss your life. You started it for freedom. And freedom doesn't happen by accident. It happens by design.Ready to build your own Life Aligned Business®?If this episode sparked something in you and you're ready to stop navigating this alone, come and explore the Life Aligned Business® Mastermind. If you've ever grown so fast you barely recognized yourself… this one is for you.In this conversation with Leila Hormozi, we go behind the curtain of rapid business growth — beyond revenue, beyond strategy — and into identity. We talk about criticism, visibility, filtering yourself to avoid judgment, and what really happens when your business grows faster than your comfort zone. From the outside, explosive growth can look like a highlight reel. From the inside? It can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and even painful.Leila shares why “the more you want to grow, the more you're going to be in pain” — not because growth is bad, but because it demands an identity shift. If you're a 7-figure founder scaling higher… Hiring leaders for the first time… Outgrowing your old systems… Or white-knuckling your next level…You're not broken. In this episode, we traverse the real depths of the metamorphosis women go through when the longing for love, marriage, devotion, and motherhood awakens–especially after years of being the high-achieving, ambitious, driven woman who built her identity around her success. Because when that longing arrives, it doesn't just add a new desire to your life…It often shatters identities. The "high-achiever / boss-babe identity" and the "wife/mother/woman identity" can feel like two tectonic plates colliding, creating grief, fear, anxiety, confusion… and a radical reordering of values and priorities. We explore why so many women are trying to rush, control, or think their way through this threshold—and why it doesn't work. Why the only way through is descent: below the mind, into the body, the nervous system, the womb, the erotic aliveness, the grief, the anger, the void. If you've built success… and yet your feminine heart is aching for something more–this episode is a warm embrace and an invitation to soften into what is true. In this episode, we explore: Why the longing for marriage and motherhood can trigger an identity crisis (even in the most successful women) The hidden ways high-achieving women armor their hearts through hustling and over-functioning The "identity crisis" calling you forth to a different era when single Outgrowing your gender roles when in long-term partnership The "tectonic plate" collision: CEO vs. wife/mother/woman Why "having it all" often comes with the fine print: you must also do it all How overcoming the 50/50 dynamic, being the breadwinner, and provision conversations can become major initiations The real cost on your womanhood, intimacy, & health of spending years in productivity-first mode–from burnout to loss of sexual desire, emotional numbing or fertility challenges Why mind-based work alone doesn't create lasting change–and why actual actual must encompass the nervous system The sacred role of the holy void: the in-between space where the old dies and the new hasn't arrived yet Navigating the initiatory thresholds – the descents – as an embodied woman Dive deeper into my world Join Holy Body – The Somatic Membership to release armor, rewire patterns, create a life where you get it to have it all–the devotional love, the thriving family, the wild wealth–in alignment with your body, womb, and femininity Connect on Instagram: @aurikavalan Get my FREE Somatic Reset with 3 somatic practices to reset your relationships, business, and feminine aliveness
In this Daily Shift, Celeste explores how growth can create distance in relationships without blame or superiority. Outgrowing someone doesn't mean you're better — it means you're evolving in a different direction. This episode is a reminder that you can honor your growth while still holding compassion and respect for others. Growth doesn't require hierarchy. Small shifts create big change.

Relationship shifts can feel confusing when nothing is “wrong,” yet something feels different. This episode explores how identity-level recalibration allows you to make sense of relational change without urgency, drama, or fear of losing belonging. Some relational shifts don't arrive with conflict, boundaries, or conversations. They arrive quietly. You feel less responsible.Less vigilant.Less compelled to manage the moment. And for high-capacity humans — people accustomed to responsibility, steadiness, and relational competence — that quiet can feel disorienting. In this episode of The Recalibration, we explore horizontal alignment: the phase of integration where experience is allowed to settle into real life without being interpreted, explained, or turned into a story. This conversation is especially for those navigating relationship changes that don't fit familiar narratives of growth or loss. You may notice:less emotional charge in certain connectionsmore neutrality without disengagementfewer explanations without withdrawalThat doesn't mean something is wrong. It often means discernment is replacing fear.Drawing on identity-level recalibration (ILR), this episode gently reframes integration as a nervous-system process, not a cognitive one. Unlike mindset work or productivity strategies, ILR begins with who you are being, not what you should do — allowing clarity to emerge without forcing resolution. You'll hear how:belonging doesn't disappear when performance relaxesoutgrowing a role doesn't require outgrowing the relationshipmeaning can form without narrative fixationThis is companionship work, not instruction.Orientation, not urgency.Recognition before resolution.Today's Micro Recalibration:“What did this week reveal about how I relate to belonging?”Let the question sit beside you. Outgrowing Your Team: The Loyal "Mike" Problem Every Business Owner Faces with Kurt Wilkin Find Rocky Lalvani @ www.ProfitComesFirst.com or email him at rocky@profitcomesfirst.com "Every growing business has a 'Mike'—the loyal early employee who quietly becomes your biggest bottleneck." Most entrepreneurs don't fail because they lack hustle. They get stuck because the team that got them here… can't get them there. In this episode of Profit Answer Man, Rocky Lalvani talks with Kurt Wilkin—entrepreneur, former founder of HireBetter (a recruiting firm that partnered heavily with EOS companies), and author of Who's Your Mic?—about the moment every growing business eventually faces: you outgrow a "key person," and your loyalty delays the decision that growth requires. Kurt breaks down the "Mike" problem (the early employee who handled the finance/ops/integrator work), why founders wait too long, and what to do before the bottleneck starts costing you profit, time, and momentum. In This Episode, You'll Learn: What "Who's Your Mike?" really means—and why every entrepreneur either has, had, or will have a "Mike" if they keep growing. The classic growth pattern: how "Mike" goes from bookkeeper → accountant → controller → "CFO"… until the business hits a level where he's in over his head (banks, credit lines, bigger deals). Why business owners delay the hard conversation—and why it feels like firing a lifelong friend. Why you don't always have to fire Mike (reassignment can work)—but keeping a struggling leader creates a ceiling on the whole team. A key hiring truth: you can't attract A-players to join a team when a C-player is running the department. The "Pipeline Paul" warning for sales hiring—and the red flag Kurt calls out (repeated ~18-month stints). Why founders struggle to hire salespeople: the owner can sell because they are the business, but a salesperson can't replicate that without a real sales system. The difference between traditional sales and business development (solving the customer's problem vs. forcing a fit). The integrator affordability question ("Next Level Natalie")—and Kurt's view that many businesses have "money in the couch cushions" through waste and inefficiency. Rocky's take on the "everyone is busy" trap—and how sometimes one person is effectively creating fires the team constantly fights. Why peer communities matter: Kurt's perspective on EOS as a business operating system, and YPO as a broader peer group that includes family and personal balance. The Big Takeaway: Growth doesn't just demand better strategy—it demands better people alignment. If you're scaling and your leadership team hasn't scaled with you, you may be running a "lifestyle business" for everyone except the owner: the team hits goals, stays busy, and the founder is left holding the stress (and sometimes the lack of profit/cash flow). The question isn't whether you'll face a "Mike." The question is whether you'll address it early—before it becomes the reason growth stalls. Bio: Kurt Wilkin is an entrepreneur and former founder of HireBetter, a recruiting firm that helped entrepreneurs build next-level teams and partnered with EOS companies. He previously built and sold a finance and accounting consulting firm (growing to ~120 employees), and he hosts the podcast Unlocking Moves. Kurt's work focuses on helping entrepreneurs build strong teams and healthy businesses—what he calls "capitalism for good." In this episode of the Tactical Living Podcast, hosts Coach Ashlie Walton and Sergeant Clint Walton speak to a reality many first responders feel but rarely admit out loud: you can be good at the job, respected in the role, and still feel like you've outgrown it (Amazon Affiliate). You're competent. You're trusted. You've invested years—sometimes decades—into this career. And yet, something inside you feels restless, constrained, or disconnected from the work that once gave you purpose. This episode helps responders understand why this happens, why it feels so uncomfortable, and how staying stuck can quietly drain motivation, health, and identity.

In this episode, Dr. Anna Marie explores the idea that women are not "too much" — they are often just carrying too much for too long. She shares a vulnerable story about burnout while planning a conference, how being labeled "too much" is often about dysregulated nervous systems (ours and others'), and why midlife can feel like a breaking point. She reframes exhaustion, grief, and the loss of hustle as biology and awakening rather than failure, and offers practical ways to regulate the nervous system, release people-pleasing, and honor rest as a form of leadership. Key Points: Being "too much" is often just carrying too much. Dysregulated nervous systems shape how we see ourselves and others. Midlife burnout can feel like grief for a former self. The body says "no" when the mind won't listen. Women hold an invisible emotional and mental load. Most women want presence and acknowledgment, not fixes. Regulating cortisol: light exposure, protein, consistent sleep. Reduce triggers: inflammatory foods, media, draining conversations. Use simple breathing rituals morning and night. Rest is not laziness; it is leadership. Outgrowing survival mode can make life feel heavier at first. Let go of people-pleasing and energy-draining commitments. Choose what gives energy; if it drains you, it's a "no." Last night, I scrolled all the way back to 2016.Not to reminisce. Not to brag. Not to cringe. But to meet her.The woman who was strong, visible, admired, and constantly performing. The woman who finally felt desirable. The woman who thought perfection would make her safe. The woman who had no idea what was coming. This episode began as a light conversation about the “2016 is the new 2026” Instagram trend. It became something else entirely. It became a mirror. A reckoning. A soft, emotional reunion with every version of myself I've ever been. And man… it wasn't an easy reunion. In this episode, I share (through some tears) what it felt like to scroll through old photos, old captions, and old identities, feel the pain my past caused some, and realize how far I've traveled from the life built on validation…to this new life built on peace.
From Crisis to Opportunity When the Wrangler plant closed its doors in Page County over two decades ago, the community faced a crossroads. However, what could have been a devastating blow instead became the catalyst for educational transformation. Dr. Kim Blosser, President of Laurel Ridge Community College, talks with Janet Michael on The Valley Today to reflect on how the Luray-Page County Center has spent 20 years opening doors for students who once had limited access to higher education. Geography as Destiny Before the center opened, Page County students faced a challenging reality. Located in a valley surrounded by mountains, they endured 45-minute to 90-minute commutes to reach the nearest Laurel Ridge campuses in Middletown or Warrenton. Consequently, many students simply gave up on their educational dreams or opted for Blue Ridge Community College in Harrisonburg, which offered an easier drive without crossing mountain passes. "Students in that county had to go the furthest from any other of our localities," Dr. Blosser explains. This geographic isolation meant that Page County residents were effectively cut off from the educational opportunities available to their neighbors in other parts of the Laurel Ridge service area. A Community Rallies Fortunately, local leaders recognized the urgent need for change. When the Wrangler plant closed, the town of Luray acquired the annex building. Together, the county and town invested in renovating part of the facility, offering the college space for minimal rent. This partnership created not only a retraining center for displaced workers but also a permanent educational presence in the community. The impact proved immediate and profound. Federal Trade Act funding helped former Wrangler employees pursue new careers through education. Dr. Blosser shares the touching story of Cindy, a former plant worker who earned her associate's degree and spent her entire second career working at the Luray-Page Center—until her recent retirement after nearly 20 years of service. Meanwhile, another former employee went on to become an elementary school teacher, demonstrating how access to education can completely transform lives. Outgrowing the Original Vision As the years passed, however, the old Wrangler annex building began showing its limitations. While the space worked well for traditional classroom subjects like English and history, it couldn't accommodate science labs, electrical training, or HVAC programs. Moreover, the aging facility required increasingly costly repairs, and the town no longer owned the building—a private company did. "Our students deserved better," Dr. Blosser recalls thinking. The college began searching for alternatives, examining various existing buildings throughout the county. Yet each option presented similar challenges: they were outdated structures requiring extensive renovation with uncertain outcomes. Building a Dream Then came a breakthrough. The Jenkins family stepped forward with an extraordinary offer: they would donate land for a new campus. Located behind Walmart in a central, easily accessible location, the site seemed perfect. What followed was nothing short of remarkable. The Laurel Ridge Educational Foundation launched an ambitious fundraising campaign, ultimately raising over $4 million from Page County residents and businesses. "They were just desperate not to lose the college," Dr. Blosser notes. "They know it's the heart of economic development." Despite supply chain challenges during the pandemic—including having to switch brick suppliers mid-construction—the project moved forward with impressive speed. A Campus for the Future Today, Jenkins Hall stands as a testament to community vision and determination. Unlike traditional institutional buildings, the facility features warm wood beams, open ceilings, and panoramic mountain views. The design intentionally creates a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the natural beauty of Page County. The first floor houses specialized labs that were impossible in the old location. Students now learn electrical work, HVAC systems, and heavy equipment operation in a dedicated trades lab. Across the hall, a modern science lab enables anatomy and physiology courses—essential prerequisites for health profession programs. Additionally, the building serves as home to the region's only Physical Therapy Assisting program, drawing students from an hour and a half radius. Upstairs, the design becomes even more innovative. Three classrooms feature soundproof movable walls that collapse to create one large space accommodating up to 100 people. This flexibility allows the center to host dual enrollment graduations, chamber of commerce job fairs, and corporate meetings—addressing a critical shortage of community gathering spaces in Page County. More Than Just Classrooms Throughout our conversation, Dr. Blosser emphasizes that Laurel Ridge operates as a "comprehensive community college." This means serving everyone from adult basic education students to those pursuing the first two years of a bachelor's degree. The college offers GED preparation, English as a Second Language classes, short-term workforce training, corporate education, and traditional transfer programs. "We can serve as many as 20,000 individuals in a year," Dr. Blosser reveals. Furthermore, approximately 50 percent of transfer program classes now offer online options, providing crucial flexibility for working adults and parents. While hands-on programs like welding and phlebotomy require in-person attendance, students can increasingly customize their schedules by mixing on-campus and online coursework. The Door to Tomorrow Perhaps the most intriguing detail about Jenkins Hall involves a door on the first floor that appears to lead nowhere. However, Dr. Blosser eagerly points it out on every tour she gives. The architectural plans show this door will eventually connect via a breezeway to a second building—one that doesn't exist yet. "That door doesn't go nowhere," she insists with a smile. "There is something beyond that building. We just have to wait, and when that moment arrives, be ready to move." This forward-thinking approach reflects the same vision that transformed a closed factory into an educational hub two decades ago. As Page County continues growing—with new townhomes and developments surrounding what was once an isolated field behind Walmart—the college stands ready to expand its mission once again. Looking Ahead While Dr. Blosser modestly suggests she'll likely retire before the center's 40th anniversary, she remains confident about continued growth. The rapid changes of the past 20 years—from distance learning via Old Dominion University in a small computer room to today's sophisticated online platforms—hint at even more dramatic transformations ahead. For now, the Luray-Page County Center continues fulfilling its founding mission: ensuring that geography no longer determines educational destiny. Whether students seek workforce credentials, transfer degrees, or personal enrichment, they can find opportunities right in their own community. After 20 years, that door the Jenkins family helped open remains wide, welcoming anyone ready to walk through and discover what lies beyond.

Lately, I've been hearing the same thing over and over again from the women I'm in community with: "I'm unmotivated. I'm exhausted. I'm questioning everything." And yet, rest doesn't seem to fix it. In this episode of The Couragecast, I'm naming a different kind of burnout — the kind that doesn't come from doing too much, but from leading in a way that no longer fits who you're becoming. This conversation is not about finding another strategy, adding another healing modality, or figuring out how to push through. It's about recognizing when your nervous system, your energy, and your identity are no longer aligned with the way you've been showing up. Burnout from misalignment often feels like disorientation rather than exhaustion — a loss of desire, a quiet resistance to what used to work, and a deep knowing that you're here for more, but you refuse to do it the old way. This isn't a problem to fix: it's a transition to honour. In the episode, we explore: The difference between burnout from overdoing and burnout from misalignment Why intuitive empathic leaders are especially vulnerable right now The invisible exhaustion of always holding space, being strong, and being the "guide". How healing work can quietly turn into self-monitoring, hesitation, and self doubt. What it means to be in an identity limbo — knowing you're here for more, but not knowing what's next. In this episode, I'm talking directly to high-performing women who feel like their body is the one area of life that won't fall into place, no matter how disciplined or successful they are everywhere else. I see this pattern constantly: women who are crushing it in their careers, relationships, and personal standards, yet feel deep internal shame because their body doesn't reflect the level of excellence they hold themselves to. And the truth is — this isn't about laziness, lack of discipline, or "not wanting it badly enough." In this episode, I break down why high-achieving women so often struggle with fat loss and body composition, even when they're doing "all the right things," and what actually needs to change to fix it. We talk about metabolic adaptation from chronic under-eating, why effort without strategy backfires, how all-or-nothing thinking keeps women stuck, why your old fitness tools stop working as your life grows, and what it really means to reconnect with your body in a way that supports long-term performance. This is about moving out of punishment and into partnership with your body — and building a fitness identity that matches the standards you already live by everywhere else. In this episode, I cover: Why high-performing women often feel disconnected from their bodies Chronic under-eating, metabolic adaptation, and stalled fat loss Why strategy beats brute force in fitness All-or-nothing thinking and how it sabotages consistency Outgrowing old fitness tools as life responsibilities increase Nervous system regulation vs. performance avoidance What embodied self-leadership in fitness actually looks like For the high-achieving hot girls that want to recover better, support glowier skin, and promote longevity through better cellular health, get 20% off your first order of Mitopure and make wellness easier than ever. Marc Gilbert thinks global trading will split into four nodes: the U.S., China, BRICS, and the rest creating a patchwork of trade. He expects global trade to grow by 2.5%, and China to grow faster than the U.S. between tariffs and other countries looking for U.S. alternatives. He discusses how the events in Venezuela are changing trade and how companies are embedding geopolitics into their business strategies. “Resiliency costs more,” he says, forcing companies to diversify their supply chains and invest heavily in technology.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. What happens when you begin to grow—and a friendship doesn't grow with you? In this final episode of 2025, Cecelia is joined by Dana Mosley for an honest, compassionate conversation about outgrowing friendships. Together, they explore what it feels like when personal growth, healing, or life changes begin to shift the dynamics of a relationship—and how to navigate that transition with clarity, maturity, and grace. This episode is especially for women who find themselves asking quiet questions like: Have I changed? Have we changed? And what does it mean if this friendship no longer fits the way it used to? Rather than rushing to labels or dramatic conclusions, Cecelia and Dana discuss how growth can create distance without creating failure—and how honoring seasons in friendship can be an act of wisdom, not selfishness. In this episode, we talk about: What it really means to “outgrow” a friendship How to recognize when a friendship has entered a new season Letting go (or loosening your grip) without bitterness, guilt, or shame If this episode resonated with you, please consider leaving a review and sharing it with a friend. On today's episode, Andy answers your questions on how to deal with feeling behind when you lack clear goals, how to regain control during chaos in a growing business, and how to recognize personal growth when others don't support the new you.
If your business is working objectively but feels tighter or heavier on the inside, you may be operating inside a model that's past its natural life cycle. Anna unpacks why "optimising the old" won't solve deeper friction, and shares a practical 4Rs framework to recognise the signals, review the scripts keeping you stuck, redesign the blueprint, and rebuild in a way that fits who you are now. Key takeaways: Outgrowing your business model is a normal stage: business structures have life cycles, and misalignment is often a signal of growth. If the business only works when you overextend, the issue is structural resilience — not your motivation, discipline, or capability. Small tweaks can become a "Frankenstein model": complexity that patches today's problem while compounding tomorrow's. The shift is from optimising the old to redesigning the blueprint: who you are now, what you want to deliver, and what container fits. Rebuilding isn't starting over: it's evolving boundaries, offers, delivery, pricing, systems and visibility so the business supports your life. Smart Agency Masterclass with Jason Swenk: Podcast for Digital Marketing Agencies
Would you like access to our advanced agency training for FREE? https://www.agencymastery360.com/training Are you thinking about expanding your agency through acquisitions? Buying another firm can be one of the fastest ways to scale, but only if you choose the right partners and nail the cultural fit. Otherwise, growth can quickly turn into chaos. Today's featured guest has been through five acquisitions, each one teaching her a different (and sometimes painful) lesson about what truly makes a merger succeed. In this episode, she opens up about her biggest acquisition missteps, the cultural mismatches that nearly derailed integrations, forecasting errors she didn't see coming, and the identity challenges that arise when two teams collide. Kimberly Eberl is the Founder and CEO of The Motion Agency, a full service marketing and communications shop with offices in Chicago, Cincinnati, and Nashville. While the agency offers everything from creative to content, it is unusually strong in public relations with roughly 20 PR pros on staff. Kimberly has completed five acquisitions, navigated the cultural and financial highs and lows of M&A, and grown Motion into one of the most respected independent agencies in the Chicago market. In this episode, we'll discuss: When acquisitions help agencies scale—and when they backfire. Lessons learned from five agency acquisitions. Why agency owners often misjudge valuation and earnouts. From Fired Account Director to Agency Founder Kimberly jokes that she is one of those founders who got fired into entrepreneurship. At her previous agency, the account director role was undefined and impossible to succeed in. The revolving door should have been a clue. She lasted a year before being let go and scrambling to figure out her next move. With no grand plan, she fell into freelancing in 2006. The economy was healthy. The demand came fast. And pretty quickly she reached that moment every accidental agency owner hits. Either say no to work or hire help. She chose to hire. That early decision set the tone for the next decade. Instead of trying to do it all herself, she leaned into building a team and letting the business grow past her personal capacity. Outgrowing a Single-Service Model: Moving Beyond One Specialty Kimberly started as a PR pro. That focus worked for a while, but eventually she noticed how much money she was leaving on the table. Clients wanted websites, creative, content, and she was constantly referring the work away. The big shift happened when she decided to expand beyond PR and bring more capabilities in-house. This meant hiring outside her comfort zone and learning how to oversee work she could not personally do. That decision opened the door to real growth. Many agency owners get stuck right there. They stay in their one specialty because it is safe. Kimberly pushed through that discomfort and built a service mix clients actually wanted. The Reality of Acquiring Another Agency: Lessons from 5 Acquisitions Kimberly opted to add these new services through acquisitions. So far, she has completed five and every one had a different lesson. Her first major acquisition was bold. She bought an agency twice the size of her own. Financially and emotionally, it was a lot. Looking back, she admits she may not do a deal that large again, especially in a specialty she did not personally understand. But she also learned that size does not determine complexity. A one-person agency with contractors had just as many integration headaches as a larger shop. What mattered most was agency culture. Some deals looked perfect on paper but fell apart because the values, expectations, and behaviors did not align. One deal in particular was financially great and culturally awful. She kept one client from that acquisition. Another deal was financially terrible but culturally perfect. Years later, most of those staff members are still with her. Her biggest warning: never ignore cultural red flags during the courting phase. Take time to hang out with the sellers, how they operate, and experience their company's culture. Go to dinner, Travel together. You'll notice small behaviors (snapping over minor problems, chronic lateness, lack of transparency) that won't disappear after the contract is signed. Valuation Mistakes That Kill Good Deals Kimberly also dove into how she approaches valuations and why so many sellers get this part wrong. She focuses on future performance, realistic forecasts, and removing costs that will not continue after the sale. She also pushes back on inflated projections. If an owner claims revenue will double, the earnout should reflect that. Big promises are fine, but they should come with big accountability. One agency she walked away from wanted a valuation equal to twice their gross revenue. They were using cash-based accounting and ignoring profitability. It was an immediate red flag. Kimberly's advice to owners is simple. Build a business that is sellable even if you never plan to sell. Get your financials clean. Use accrual accounting. And be realistic about your numbers. Leadership, Loyalty, and the Hardest Skill — Letting Go As the agency scaled, leadership challenges became just as complex as financial ones. Kimberly admits she is confused about why she is the largest woman-owned agency in Chicago at only seventy people. She is proud of the title, but she wonders why more women are not reaching similar scale. There are no differences in capability, but many female founders still hit a ceiling often tied to loyalty, delegation, or difficulty letting people go. Some owners, especially women, treat their team like family and struggle to make hard decisions around performance. She admitted she has been loyal to a fault at times and is working on finding a healthy balance. Agencies function more like all star sports teams. The roster changes every year. People get promoted, moved, or sometimes released. That does not mean you failed. It means you are adapting so the team as a whole can win. Kimberly is even working on building hobbies outside her agency because she noticed how much of her identity was tied to work. It is a relatable struggle for founders who have poured years into their companies. AI Changes the Work, Not the Need for Agencies Let's be clear, agencies are not going away because of AI. Kimberly certainly doesn't believe that. She treats AI like an intern. Helpful. Fast. But still needing quality control, creativity, and leadership. Clients still want real relationships. They want someone who understands context and nuance. Agencies serving tech-savvy individuals will feel churn from AI, but agencies serving plumbers, service-based businesses, and non marketers will be fine. These clients want to stay in their lane and hire experts for everything else. Marketing evolves, but agencies survive because the business model adapts. How do you recognize someone who has actually earned wisdom? In this conversation, Jayson breaks down what makes an elder an elder. He explains why it has nothing to do with age or status, how real elders show emotional maturity, what it means to hold space without fixing or rescuing, and why outgrowing your parents is a part of becoming an elder. If you want to understand who to trust, who to learn from, or how to become someone worth following, this episode lays it out clearly.Timestamps:2:21 - Elders are people who did the work5:46 - Elders hold space9:28 - Outgrowing your parentsLinks:The Relationship SchoolFollow Jayson on social media:InstagramYouTubeLinkedInTikTokTwitterFacebook
You don't hit a ceiling because you're doing something wrong. You hit it because you've outgrown the container you're operating in. This episode is about what it takes to really expand in your business.. It's about the moment when the version of you who started your business can no longer lead the version of the business you want next. I'm sharing what it looks like when growth starts feeling heavy, why that's actually a signal (not a problem), and how expanding your container changes the way you lead, sell, price, and make decisions. In this episode, we explore: What it actually means to outgrow your business container Why growth often feels uncomfortable right before expansion happens The identity shifts required to move into your next income level How CEO-level thinking changes your relationship with money, pricing, and decisions Why expansion isn't about adding more: it's about holding more The "flower pot problem" and how to know when you need a bigger one What changes when you stop operating like the version who started the business How expanding your container creates ease, confidence, and momentum Why the next level doesn't require a new strategy: it requires a new posture The subtle shifts that separate entrepreneurs who plateau from those who scale If you're in this season… You've built proof. You have results and momentum. Your business works, but it doesn't feel as expansive as it should. You might feel financially tighter than expected for your level of experience. You might notice you're tolerating things that no longer align. You might feel a quiet pull toward bigger conversations, cleaner systems, and more intentional growth. It's a sign you're ready for expansion. About the Expansion Era Mastermind I also share details about my upcoming 6-month mastermind for established entrepreneurs who are ready to expand their income, leadership, and business ecosystem. This is for you if you: Are already having five-figure months Know your body of work is meant to scale Want to lead at a higher level without burning out Are ready for cleaner systems, stronger decisions, and long-term growth

In this episode, Kevin and Alan challenge common assumptions about self-improvement, personal development, and success. This conversation is direct, grounded, and built for those who care about sustainable growth, not short-term motivation. If you want sharper habits, better decisions, and progress you can actually trust, this episode will recalibrate how you think about success. Run the system. Track the inputs. This convo will shift how you see yourself, your body, and your relationships forever. We also talk about: The science and stigma of cellulite How comparison + body image are amplified by social media The “reflected sense of self” + how to reclaim your own worth Why beauty + power are fleeting (and healthier sources for self-esteem) Navigating the double-bind: wanting male attention, fearing its consequences The difference between self-care + self-soothing (and why both matter) How childhood patterns + family dynamics create adult attachment styles Real talk on healing anxious attachment—alone and in partnership Outgrowing the “go through hell to get to heaven” relationship pattern The rising standards for women—and why finding a partner feels harder as you grow Resources: Website: www.drmollyburrets.com Instagram @drmollyburrets Order our book, Almost 30: A Definitive Guide To A Life You Love For The Next Decade and Beyond, here: https://bit.ly/Almost30Book.
