Warner Bros. shelved this movie for the tax write-off in July 2023. Now it's in theaters thanks to Ketchup Entertainment, and the fact that it's great is the best revenge. Will Forte, Lana Condor, John Cena and all your favorite Looney Tunes characters star in this hilarious live action/animation hybrid. BOORMAN AND THE DEVIL. If you love movies about making movies -- especially movies that are notorious flops -- you'll enjoy this documentary about John Boorman's "Exorcist II: The Heretic." Alonso has to recuse himself because he's friends with writer-director-editor David Kittredge, but we both agree that this is an impressive and entertaining deep-dive into 1970s Hollywood. In theaters. FAME (1980): WAS IT GREAT OR WERE YOU 8? It's our favorite game to play, where we look back at the movies we loved from childhood to see whether they still hold up today. This time, Christy picked "Fame," the musical sensation about students at New York's performing arts high school striving for stardom. It won two Oscars and spawned a hit album and TV series. "Coyote vs. Acme" is a 2026 American live-action animated legal comedy film directed by Dave Green, written by Samy Burch from a story by James Gunn, Jeremy Slater, and Burch, and based on Ian Frazier's 1990 New Yorker article of the same name. Starring Will Forte, Lana Condor, Tone Bell, Luis Guzmán, Martha Kelly, P.J. Byrne, Kenneth Choi, and John Cena, with Eric Bauza leading the voice cast, the film follows Wile E. Coyote as he enlists a billboard attorney to sue the Acme Corporation for repeatedly selling him defective products. After Warner Bros. Discovery initially shelved the completed film for a tax write-off in 2023, Ketchup Entertainment acquired it in 2025 following widespread public backlash. The film was finally screened (officially) at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25th, 2026, where it received positive reviews.
