The guys kick off Wild Card Weekend by laying out their “selfish rooting interest” list, where Jets bitterness, Giants coaching paranoia, and pure chaos all collide. It starts with Rams-Panthers and a very specific agenda: hope Carolina's Bryce Young doubt grows just enough to create more QB options for the Jets, while also keeping the Panthers from becoming a real future threat. Then it turns into Bears-Packers, where personal grudges (Ben Johnson), weather talk, and the dream of a coaching-search circus take center stage. If the Packers lose, does it crack open another job and send the league into full-blown coach chaos? That's the debate. They hit Bills-Jaguars with the “maximum pain” theory for Buffalo fans, plus the Harbaugh ripple effects in Eagles-Niners, before the segment swerves into the Saquon billboard drama that feels like a direct shot at Giants fans. The back half includes Knicks-Wizards draft-pick paranoia, Giants OC continuity talk (Kafka and the Dart development angle), and a mini debate on why you can't blindly trust AI without fact-checking.

Hour 4 kicks off with a look ahead to the other CFP semifinal as Oregon faces Indiana, featuring the top two QB prospects, with the winner set to face Miami in the national championship. NFL insider Mike Florio joins to break down the Dolphins' organizational shakeup, why firing Mike McDaniel was necessary for a fresh start, and weighs in on John Harbaugh's coaching options and other open NFL jobs. Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal discusses the Fiesta Bowl win that advances Miami to the national championship, praising his team's resilience, Carson Beck, and Keelan Marion, while highlighting the ball-control strategy that dominated time of possession. The hour wraps with Joe making his picks for the NFL playoffs
Chris Perkins joins to weigh in on the Dolphins' ongoing shakeup, including the GM search and the firing of Mike McDaniel. Perkins shares why he's long advocated for a full reset—new GM, new head coach, and possibly a new QB—and weighs in on whether McDaniel could find success elsewhere. Joe and Perkins discuss whether the Dolphins have reached out to John Harbaugh, the interviews of DC Anthony Weaver for other head coaching jobs, and Tua's thoughts on a fresh start. Perkins emphasizes the need for Miami to shift from a flashy, finesse-style team to a hard-nosed, physical identity, calling this the start of a new Dolphins era.

Hour 1 kicks off with the Giants coaching search heating up fast. With names like Bill Belichick floating out there, Tiki Barber drops a stunner: he'd lean Kevin Stefanski over John Harbaugh. The guys debate QB development, offensive upside, and why building the right staff might matter even more than the head coach. Plus, the “sure thing vs bust factor” argument, Harbaugh's coordinator track record, and the one concern that could change everything: does Harbaugh still have the fire for a full rebuild in New York?
Tiki Barber doubles down on his surprising stance in the Giants coaching debate, explaining why Kevin Stefanski edges out John Harbaugh for him. The discussion centers on QB development, staff building, and long term upside versus the comfort of a proven track record. The guys dig into Stefanski's “boost factor,” Harbaugh's elite résumé, concerns about burnout, and why the Giants may need hunger and fire as much as experience in their next head coach.
The coaching carousel gets even crazier when Mike McDaniel suddenly becomes available, and the guys immediately frame him as a potential offensive coordinator jackpot, not the Giants head coach. They break down why his scheme is so “nerdy” and QB friendly, why Jaxson Dart could benefit from that kind of detail and precision, and why Stefanski and Harbaugh still sit in a different tier as head coach options. Plus, the conversation swings into the staff building obsession, the Dolphins emerging as a real Harbaugh threat, and the chaos theory: when an upgrade appears, teams start firing coaches just to get in the race.

Send us a textWhat does it take to lead at home when your day job means leading a locker room under stadium lights? We sit down with Coach, Mike Holmgren—legendary coach of the Packers, 49ers, and Seahawks—to talk about love, honesty, and what it really means to leave work at the door. From meeting his wife at 12 to raising four daughters and now cheering for nine grandkids, Coach Holmgren opens up about rhythms that kept his family grounded through late nights, missed holidays, and cross-country flights.Coach shares vivid stories: walking through Lambeau's tailgates, learning to respect a whole state's passion without letting it rule the household, and choosing faith over a city tennis final as a teenager. He breaks down the “coach-to-dad” switch with simple practices—family dinners, a five-minute huddle with his wife before the kids pile in, and a commitment to listen without turning feedback into pressure. We dig into youth sports, the infamous car ride home, and a better script: “I love watching you play.” Along the way, we revisit the sting of injuries and the quiet courage of getting back up when dreams bend, not break. If you're a parent trying to juggle ambition and presence, this conversation gives you a clear playbook: lead with love, tell the truth, ask better questions, and let your kids choose their passions. We also highlight causes close to Coach Holmgren's heart—the Salvation Army's community work and Circlewood's blend of faith and care for the land on Camano Island.
