If you watched the MAX docuseries about Natalia Grace, you know how that case was influenced by the 2009 horror movie, "The Orphan", but what you might not know is that the horror movie was inspired by a true story that took place in the Czech Republic. A woman named Barbora Skrlova, born with a condition known as hypopituitarism, which affected her growth and appearance, making her look much younger than her actual age, used this to her advantage to escape justice and manipulate others, posing as different children in different countries and recruiting new members into her father's cult, known as The Grail. Stick around to find out what Joel did to get blocked by WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce on Facebook. He must have said something pretty awful, right? Well, click play on this episode and hear what happened. Finally, we make our picks for every game of the Week 4 NFL season.
Adam Pearce (@ScrapDaddyAP) is a professional wrestler and the General Manager of WWE Raw. WWE RAW Post Show WWE Reportedly Makes Bid to Purchase TNA, Raw General Manager Mick Foley might seem like a cuddly teddy bear of a man, especially if you’ve been binge-watching Holy Foley on WWE Network lately. But don’t forget that the heart of a Hardcore Legend still beats below the Santa Claus shirts and tweed blazers. Seth Rollins woke up a little bit of Cactus Jack in Foley last Monday night when he not only questioned the Raw GM’s integrity, but outwardly defied the Team Red authority figure by interfering in the main event bout between Roman Reigns and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Then again, so did United States Champion Rusev. Now, both Superstars must pay the price.
The General Manager of Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley, joins Work of Wrestling host Tim Kail for an EXCLUSIVE interview about #WomensWrestling, his goals and function as RAW GM, his upcoming WWE Network Reality TV Show "Holey Foley", and much more! Mick gives listeners a peak behind the curtain on the night when Sasha Banks became the NEW WWE Women's Champion and also gives Tim some marriage advice! Part II of our review of Survivor Series 2002 as Mark the Mark returns to finish the show! We break down the infamous "Smackdown Six" and their three month program, the pros and the cons of Heyman's booking of Smackdown in late 2002, Eric Bischoff kisses Stephanie AND Linda McMahon in all sorts of poetic justice, Chris Nowinski's potential; we put over Matt Hardy's Version 1.0 gimmick, Scott Steiner historic and... profane... debut, Eric Bischoff's awesomeness during is early run as Raw GM, Saliva's awesome Chris Jericho remix (better than most of Fozzy's entire catalogue) and of course - THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER! Shawn Michaels haircut and tights confuse us, Rob Van Dam breaks Triple H's throat, Booker T's big eyeballs, Jericho's rather obvious physique changes between 2002 and 2014, Kane's good babyface run, Hun-Tor at his absolute peak of Hun-Tor-ness, and the awesome ending! Ric Flair's face change between 2002 and 2004. DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!? Tell a friend, spread the word, and subscribe on ITunes and lets grow the Kayfabulous Lucha Bros Wrestling Show!! Don't be LOOPID!
The lovely Joe Moya sent in a request that we review WWE Survivor Series 2002 and as promised - IT'S HERE! But no, the Kayfabulous Lucha Brothers are not alone on this one and we present our first special guest ever on the program - Sportsguy515 from Forced Perspective, but on this show he's back to being MARK THE MARK, and THIS MARK, was IN THE BUILDING during the 2002 Survivor Series, the PREMIER of the gimmick match known as the ELIMINATION CHAMBER! So we've got his live thoughts! This is part 1, so we talk about such topics as Saliva and its relation to Draven's past relationships, in depth analysis of the greatness of Eric Bischoff as the Raw GM and what's right and wrong about heel authority figures in pro wrestling, the reunion of the Dudleys, our LOVE of 3 Minute Warning - Rose-Ay and Eki, Rico Constantino and the OVW Class of the early 2000s, WWF New York's overpriced burgers, Jamie Noble and Nidia's AMAZING characters, Kidman's distracting and unfitting rap theme that debuted here, Women going Hardcore, and we break down the BAD BOOKING of Lesnar and Big Show the turmoil behind the scenes. Tons to talk about here as the three of us paint the picture of late 2002 WWE, no Austin, no Rock, and no F! Part 2 next week!
