With host retail coach Wendy Batten https://wendybatten.com/podcast-intro/ Show Notes: What should we focus on in our retail operations? On Episode 183 of the Creative Shop Talk Podcast, fellow retail business coach Gwen Bortner and I turned on the mics for a little impromptu chat about retail business operations. Like me, Gwen has a background in retail. Her coaching business focuses on the operations of her clients' businesses so that their businesses support their lives rather than the other way around. In our coaching careers, Gwen and I have found that after the start-up phase of business is over (in my experience 2-3 years after start-up), business owners are spending their energy mostly on marketing, in reality, it's often the operations of the business that also needs our top attention and consistent fine tuning. In order to move the needle in your business, the first step is to identify where the bottleneck is. Gwen's clients participate in a rating exercise called The GEARS Assessment. It is an assessment of operations and is designed to be completely subjective. Essentially, you evaluate 5 operational aspects of your business on a scale of 1-4. The total number can give you an idea of how you feel about the operations of your business and individual scores can give you an idea on where the most necessary (and likely easiest) operational fix in your business is right now. You can take the GEARS Assessment for FREE on Gwen's website HERE. Goods – Products and services you sell Effectiveness – Personal and team productivity, business leadership Accountability – Prioritizing what is important and taking consistent action to reach goals Resources – People, money, equipment, technology, and similar Systems – Processes, routines, and reporting Gwen is a special guest coach inside the Retailer's Inner Circle, teaching Open To Buy inventory management. As listeners of this podcast, you know I encourage weekly CEO dates: something that doesn't often come easily to creative business owners. So many of us are accidental entrepreneurs: our businesses started as a passion project that grew and grew leaving us on a hamster wheel. What you need to remember is that it is okay to ask for help: NO ONE IS DOING THIS ALONE - nor should they! However, as leaders of our businesses we need to have our finger on the pulse of all of the operational aspects of our businesses. Gwen's GEARS Assessment is the perfect place to start. About Gwen: Gwen Bortner is the founder of Everyday Effectiveness, an operational advisory firm that helps visionary entrepreneurs scale their businesses to seven figures and beyond. Before becoming a full-time business advisor in 2015, Gwen solved operations problems for corporate giants like General Mills and for niche companies like the world's largest supplier of bull semen. To date, she's advised executives, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs in over 40 industries, including craft retailers and industry leaders. In addition to advising and speaking on operational strategy, Gwen is the author of the best-selling knitting book, Entrée to Entrelac, and teaches knitting internationally for Craft Cruises, Inc. Welcome to episode 101 of Activist #MMT. Today I talk with Derek Ross on the basics of Georgism and its relationship to MMT. Derek's a Nova Scotia resident who's been a chorus member in theatrical productions for four decades, in shows such as "The Pirates of Penzance" by Gilbert and Sullivan. He and his wife also run a bed and breakfast. He was especially helpful in providing feedback for an introductory presentation I developed early this year. Unfortunately, it never came together, but it has many valuable concepts and analogies I still use today. I met Derek in the Facebook group Intro to MMT, which is very busy and has more than 6,000 people, and for which I am a moderator. (Here's a link to PART_TWO.) Derek first discovered Georgism and later the work of Steve Keen, which ultimately led him to MMT. A main insight of Georgism is that taxing land is a much more elegant way to make a system that's both fair and more difficult to exploit. Although humans can manipulate and destroy buildings, they can't eliminate the land those buildings are on. As an example, I have a friend who's a general contractor. He tore down an old house and built a new one for his daughter. However, he left one wall in the old building standing, which prevented it from being legally considered as new construction, thereby avoiding extra fees and newer regulations. Land as defined by Georgism is not just the Earth but conceptual, like internet URLs, and the bandwidth for television, radio, and cell-phones. Taxes, or rents on that land can be paid with money, such as interest for a bank loan and taxes for living in a country. They can also be paid with not money, such as by having to provide a certain amount of labor to the king each year, or a percentage of the harvest. Going beyond Georgism, Physics makes it clear that the most fundamental resource is energy. Resources – and we – are, essentially, forms of energy. In addition, all energy requires energy to find, gather, and process it. Three examples: Food must be grown, transported, stored, cooked, served, consumed, and cleaned up from. This requires energy Gold must be dug up from one hole and then put in another, such as a box or vault, so it can be protected forever. This requires energy Labor must be fed, sheltered, clothed, educated, protected, paid, entertained, etc. This requires energy Derek has provided several resources for those interested in learning more. Because I can't give advice without context.” - Jon Jennings “If I'm advising someone, I have to build out their skill set. There's a couple of elements that you want especially nowadays. Get into as much data science as you can, teach yourself coding. It doesn't matter, as you get to higher levels, obviously, you're not going to utilize that as much, but you're going to still use that a little bit.” - Jon Jennings “As you move up the organization, it's about reaching out across company lines, and not being afraid to go talk to the marketing person, pick people's brains. We’re excited to welcome Dean Karnazes who’s back for his third time on the show. In this episode we explore the hard parts of the past year and how running has served as mental medicine for Dean. He also shares about his background as a surfer and how that influenced his running, about his ethnicity as a Greek, his new book, A Runner's High: My Life in Motion. Dean Karnazes is truly an ultramarathon athlete. Among his many feats, he’s run 50 marathons, in all 50 US states, in 50 consecutive days. He’s run across Death Valley in the middle of summer, a marathon in the South Pole, and run 24 hours straight on a treadmill in Times Square. Dean is also a father, husband, and author. “ I think for a lot of people it's not failure that that holds them back, it's the fear of failure. So I'm not afraid to fail. And I'm not afraid to try new things And I'm always curious about new challenges… I mean, writing a book is every bit as challenging as an ultra marathon if not more so. It's just as grueling. It's just it requires the same sort of commitment and discipline.” —Dean Karnazes In this episode we cover… Dean’s new book, A Runner's High: My Life in Motion. We learn Dean was a competitive surfer. He explains that to him surfing is very much like running in that it's somewhat of an art form. “You know you can surf without being in competition. You can run without being in a race, so they're very similar in that regard.” You can love competitions but not feel the need to compete with other people running. “I think the biggest competition is myself. When I stand at the finish line, if I feel like I perform to the best of my ability, then I'm pleased with my performance. And, you know, you can't control other people. You can't control the environment. All you can control is yourself.” How running during the past year has served as a medicine and been more essential for our heads than our bodies. Surrender to whatever is going to happen. Let it happen, you’ll figure this out and find a way through. It’s very much like running an ultra. Chris Gethard is a well-known comedian and actor. He hosted a show called The Chris Gethard Show and now hosts a podcast called Beautiful/Anonymous: 1 phone call. 1 hour. No names. No holds barred. “We did in fact understand one another on a very deep level,” Tina said. “In a strange way, beautiful anonymous. We had a beautiful conversation, and before Chip tagged us in a tweet, we were anonymous to one another. This is one of my favorite interviews of all time.” In this episode we cover… Chris shares that while he’s not a runner due to nail-patella syndrome affecting his knees, elbows, and hands, very interested in how running is a platform that promotes empathy and kindness. Part of this is that his work has leaned on empathy too because he grew up feeling like he didn't belong, and even a little “freakish” and feeling like an outsider. He shares that his direction with comedy and Tina’s direction of her running and podcast both overlap in empathy. [10:00] Empathy for the inner critic. Chris shares his story of being bullied as a child, while Tina recounts the endless headspace during long solo runs that allowed self-criticism to sink in. Together they discuss how empathy can help us be kinder to ourselves and the people around us. Being the kind of friend that others sometimes can’t be to themselves. [15:00] Chris shares how comedians have a responsibility to reflect on the attitudes and the current times and connect with the audiences. How growing up in a very including and diverse neighborhood helped him connect easily with people of all backgrounds. [34:40] At a time when late-night show writing rooms and staff were largely made out of white men, Chris on the other hand shared, “I had female representation, always had queer representation. I hired people who had immigrated to America who weren't born here. I was doing that because that gives me more ideas. I don't need to hire other people who have my life experience.” [47:00] Everybody out there has something going on. “Doing Beautiful Anonymous has taught me is I have to assume that other people are having a rough time or in their heads about something… I have to lean into the idea that if I can let my ego and my needs go and assume that other people might be dealing with something and to give them the ultimate benefit of the doubt.” [44:55] At a crossroads. In this serendipitous episode Tina and Chris who have never met before and come from completely different backgrounds, realized they share similar crossroads. Chris is asking himself if he wants to return to comedy while Tina is asking herself if she wants to return to professional running. They both ask, “how do I keep going?” and“how do I bring the joy back?” Enjoy this episode about how a runner and a comedian actually do have a lot in common and are both exploring projects that feel right and do good in the world. *Note* This episode was recorded before the mass shooting in Atlanta. At Running For Real, we stand against the racism towards Asian American Pacific Islander communities that has risen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Carolyn is Taiwanese-American and grew up in Houston, Texas after her parents immigrated to the US. During much of her childhood she struggled with navigating the different worlds of being Taiwanese and American. She’s now a mother, dietician, runner, and creator of the Instagram page, @diversewerun which features stories of runners who are of different cultures. We also talk deeply about how we can do our part and begin to heal. How we can create a world that is stronger and inclusive not only to skin color, but of cultures, traditions, age, genders, and so much more. Carolyn shows us that in running and in life we can all be more inclusive to people who are different than us, because that’s the beauty of being human. “And so if this virtual space can be even just a place where someone can feel like they're not alone… I want @diversewerun to continue to exist as a safe space for people to feel seen and where they can connect with others who who are like them and hopefully help expand and broaden people's worldview.” — Carolyn Su In this episode we cover… Growing up navigating two different cultures (Taiwanese and American) and what she experienced as a child going to school and feeling out of place and different. [08:30] The history of the treatment of Asian cultures in the United States. It’s important to understand the history so we can understand what is going on today, and how we heal. This is the final episode of season three of Talking About Clothes. In it, I talk about how the hardest part of this whole year-long project was showing up everyday and doing the thing I showed up to do. And also, how after a transformative year (which this year of The Self-Made Wardrobe Project certainly was), there’s no going back to the way things were before. That year changed how I related to my clothes in fundamental ways. Thank you for revisiting this project with me, now I hope you’ll take some time to explore these remarkable Black creators and thinkers working in clothing-related fields. Because Black lives matter. What is free, available to everyone and has the power to change the world? The ability to ask great questions. Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, Patrick Grove and self-made billionaires like Jeff Hoffman or Ray Dalio all have one thing in common: They know how to ask incredibly powerful, specific questions which is a skill they have cultivated over many years. But why are questions so powerful? What makes them the superpower of the achiever who wants to make things happen but currently doesn't know how? It's because questions guide our subconscious mind and changes instantly what we focus on. And whatever we focus on, we will find more of. With this episode, I'm hoping to get you to understand how incredibly crucial this skill is, not just for your business, but for every area in your life. Here are some powerful questions to ask yourself, as discussed in this episode: - What would I have to do to go 10x bigger? - What would I do if I had no fear or limitation? - What am I avoiding in my life? - What is the most powerful question that I could ask? - How am I being inauthentic? - What can I be deeply grateful for? - What would this look like if it were easy? - If this fails, what will be the most likely causes of the failure? - What if my core assumptions are wrong about this? What are they? Resources & People mentioned: - Mindvalley & its interview with Patrick Grove ("Journaling As A Tool To Become A Millionaire") - Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss

Dr. Parker shares some excellent examples of responses to change, healthy steps to navigate the disequilibrium we feel, why we MUST have a new view of ourselves to step into the next level of our life and what concerns and encourages her most about millennials! Other topics we touched on were: -Can introverts be leaders? -One teacher's impact -Why is it important to respond to calls for change? -An elegant, biblical model for response to change -Navigating disequilibrium -Why change requires rest -Embracing a new view of ourselves -The fears she's had to shed to grow -What concerns her most about what she's seeing in college age students today. -The most encouraging characteristic of the upcoming generation -Message on her heart/call on her life -Whom we should interview next (see below for list of amazing people and resources she mentioned in the show). Fashion designers worry all the time about how to protect their ideas. Unfortunately? Our industry doesn’t get much protection or have much control when it comes to knockoffs. But the most recent incident with AliExpress took things to a whole new level. Not only did AliExpress knockoff their ruffle short design. Do you have ideas, big ideas that can change the way consumers use a specific fashion product? Do you spend all your time drawing up designs, getting feedback from friends and family and thinking of new ways to create ease of use for your consumer? Do you spend time wondering how you can build a profitable brand with no experience? Fashion retail is a tough industry to get noticed in, but you know you have the perfect product that is missing from the fashion market and your just not sure how to get it there. You can make it happen for yourself! Taking a design and building a profitable fashion brand around it, is within reach as long as you're ready to take on the day to day business tasks of building a profitable fashion brand. This is exactly what Claire Fuller did when she realized that UK retailers were not selling the perfect baby changing bag she was looking for. In this episode of the Successful Fashion Designer Podcast we will talk about her 10 year whirlwind story of building a profitable baby bag fashion brand with no experience. In the interview (which I know you’ll love) we cover: Conceptualizing your design ideas with no experience Compiling customer feedback to ensure that her baby bag was exactly what moms needed Working with a fashion seamstress/designer to bring designs to life Why she decided to self fund her first retail orders The importance of consumer markets/shows Working through distribution of her fashion baby bag Following regulations for making a children's product Her strategies for researching the marketplace The importance of taking classes and seeking guidance from people who have experience in the fashion industry How she realized it was time to sell her brand and figuring out the perfect person to be a partner Why she registered the brand name and trade name in China as well as the USA Claire Fuller is an inventor and designer of the Babymule. She sells her brand in the UK and on amazon. Like you, Claire started with only an idea but had no experience on how to turn it into a profitable baby bag fashion brand. Claire started her career by working as a production manager for a local sculpture artist. This job prepared her for the design process of her baby bag because it required a lot of research and problem solving to get to that end goal. But nothing could completely prepare her for this major adventure she was about to embark on. She had just had her first baby and was in search of the perfect baby bag but she couldn't seem to find exactly what she was looking for. So she embarked on the journey of designing and producing her own profitable baby bag fashion brand with no experience. What are the ins and outs of starting your own fashion brand? She talks about everything from the design startup phase all the way to the production and distribution phase. She also shares some of the burdens that rain down once you have hit a peak in your business and you can no longer run this thing on your own. I usually cover a lot of heavy stuff in this show, but as always my main goal is to bring out the light in any dark situation. Today, let’s just stand in the light for a little bit; let’s laugh for therapy's sake and roll with whatever crazy, zany hijinks the universe wants to throw at us. This episode is all about why finding the light in the dark is essential to our personal well-being. It’s time to talk comedy. Humor is healing. This is the anthem of my guest Susan Stewart. Susan is a Toronto-based comedian and speaker who has walked her path of darkness but has come out laughing. Susan will be the first to tell you that even the most uncomfortable or unfortunate circumstances can become humorous with time. The real, deep, heavy topics that most folks want to skirt around are her comedy bread and butter. I love that she plays so lightheartedly with the duality of comedy and tragedy. What she creates with her stories is something truly beautiful and truly human. In this episode, Susan and I commiserate about so many things including how hard it can be to parent our children sometimes, struggles with mental health, and the strength of the communities that rally around us. Above all else, we will celebrate the fact that the darkness has not won. Light wills out and life finds a way. You ready to laugh? Listen in to hear Susan and I talk about: Feeling amazing on the outside (thanks to the Crisis Diet) but falling apart on the inside. Why humor is such an important component in telling our truths. Standup comedy, mental health, and the ability to stop blaming external circumstances. Susan's windy path back to humor by way of working for the government. Misadventures in parenting and Susan's hilarious re-enactment of her partner's daughter. What prompted Susan to write a book. HINT: It's not what I was expecting! How Susan helped me name who I wanted to be based on what I liked to do as a child..I'm a dabbler! And I LOVE that about myself. Susan’s advice for those who might be struggling and feeling alone. “Life is fascinating; people are even more so.” My friend Laura Egland couldn’t have started this podcast with anything more fitting. As I record this interview, Laura and I are sitting in her cozy home in Fargo, North Dakota. Life is happening right here, right now including some rambunctious mews and hijinks from Laura’s new kitty. Since I am allll about life being real, sometimes it’s really messy and filled with a bit of kitten noise! Laura and I are two peas in a pod. We’ve only been together in-person twice in the past five years, but it feels like I’ve been her friend for life. We had a lot of fun talking about just anything: from embarrassing stories, using humor and self-deprecation as a defense mechanism, and the heartbreaking moments that have shaped us. Laura literally holds nothing back. With unflinching humor, real-life details, and unmatched honesty, Laura shares so much with us today. I know you are going to love her wild story of having her car repossessed on her birthday…while she was masturbating! She also shares how growing up was hard, but life is now better than she could have ever imagined. We talk about limiting beliefs about money, and how we can define what it means to be wealthy. Storytelling is a bit of a lost art and Laura is both preserving that through her project, “The Tell” AND keeping the spirit alive on this show. I hope you feel encouraged to share your most embarrassing, messiest, wildest tales with a good friend..or even ME! Listen in to hear Laura and I talk about: Laura’s incredible story of having her car repossessed on her birthday...while masturbating. How Laura created a community of storytellers that she didn’t even know she needed. Struggling to answer “Is it OK to be funny?” especially in these incredibly trying times. How our childhood informs and shapes up way more than we realize...and learning to find the good qualities in our less than stellar parents (i.e. imperfect human beings). Our egos. End of sentence, period. Becoming a mother young, handling relationships, and making choices to improve and grow evenwhen it's hard. Resources + People mentioned Hitachi Magic Wand (per Laura, do NOT get a knock-off) Laura's storytelling venture, The Tell (modeled after The Moth) My story (of the cat in my freezer) at Laura's The Tell (it's hilarious...promise!) More of Laura An incorrigible user of humor in all situations (appropriate or not), Laura Egland has worn many hats in her life, and is now in the midst of the metaphorical shit-pile, gleefully working on examining and casting aside all of the things she assumed (and assumed others assumed) about herself. On the home front, Laura lives in Fargo, ND with her wonderful fiancé, and two cats who are obvious stand-ins for her now-adult son living in Atlanta. A large extended family comprised of folks with whom she shares no DNA, and a few with whom she does wraps up what Laura refers to as “quite the charmed life if I stop whining long enough.” When not working at her accounting job, Laura focuses on fostering community via a storytelling event she founded—the Tell—now in its sixth season; treating herself *when she remembers* with grace; consuming copious amounts of coffee and cheese; willingly discussing her own mental illness struggles; blogging in her head (and eventually to an actual site!); and ignoring the dust bunnies in her house. Laura’s life-goal is to be a stay-at-home Kitty Mom who also gets to spend her time supporting her community while blogging and podcasting for fun. She fully intends to always ignore the dust bunnies.Facebook ∆ // Instagram
Opening up to others is one of the hardest things to do. When we do practice vulnerability, what happens is an authentic connection with another human being that is wonderfully sweet. But...knowing the rewards of honesty is still not enough sometimes for us to break the ice. It’s helpful when there is someone else to pave the way and that’s one of the many reasons why I love Ashley Beaudin. I reached out to Ashley early on in the formation of this podcast, and I’ve been excited to have her on the show since. Ashley is passionate about online community building, and she knows that it all starts with honesty + bravery. Ashley's signature movement, Imperfect Boss, helps to normalize imperfection in all things. Nobody’s perfect, and Ashley’s doesn’t just acknowledge imperfections...she embraces them. Among her many passions are donuts, meeting people, and changing lives. Get to know the real Ashley with me today as we break apart a recent Instagram post that is radically honest and incredibly real. We cover topics like her childhood, body image, sex addictions, and receiving government assistance. Ashley’s story has a little bit for everyone, and I am inspired and in awe by her bravery in the face of adversity. Shall we? Listen in to hear Ashley and I talk about: Our favorite donuts. Ashley's is a sour cream glaze while mine is anything maple bacon. Ashley’s recent Instagram post (she was on a mission to disrupt shame) and 5 of her super honest imperfections - a sexting addiction and never been kissed are just 2 of them! Feeling uncertain in your own body and the impact of your parents growing up - from feeling rejected to lacking basic self-care. How Ashley has struggled with her sexting addiction and intimate relationships. How faith and church culture impacted Ashley’s ability to grow. Battling shame and fear when going on financial assistance. Why Ashley ended up having 12 teeth pulled at a men’s homeless shelter. How does storytelling help sustainability? Ravinol Chambers is an Irish born entrepreneur, filmmaker and a former monk who helps those making a positive difference in the world bring their stories to life. He is the founder of the multi-award winning Be Inspired Films and a strong believer in the power of business for social change. Ravinol has been on an eighteen kilometres’ auto rickshaw (tuk-tuk) journey from Mumbai to Kanyakumari (southernmost tip of India), shooting a documentary along the way. It was a road movie with a purpose to explore the issue of girls’ education in India today through the people he met along the way. Storytelling and sustainability By using stories, sustainability can be removed from the organisational, company line type and be made more personal and real. Storytelling puts sustainability into real-life context so that people relate to it more. Not enough organisations have embraced it yet, but it is a massive opportunity to make sustainable more mainstream. Key Advice Organisations should align to a clear, focused story around sustainability. The best organisations are ones that don’t just do something to offset or to mitigate what they are doing, but they find something that is truly aligned to their actual purpose. Questions like ‘does my company actually exist in the world to do anything more than just make money?’ ‘does it have an impact in the world?’ are good to consider while framing a story. The recent global sustainability goals are good to choose from. It is also important to be real and honest. People connect more with organisations that are honest about their failures, and their future goals. The story should involve people around, and it should be personal. A good way is to have it told through the narrative of a person who is impacted by the work the organisation is doing. Implementing Sustainability On 2015, Be Inspired Films was certified as a B Corp. It gave a benchmark in different areas like: how the staff is looked after, the company culture, how the purchasing was done, the kind of organisations Be Inspired Films worked with, where the flow of capital went, what the environmental policy is, how recycling is done. Committing to a formal, certified system helps in measuring sustainability, and thereby helps your sustainability impact grow. Impact in Daily Life In his day to day life, Ravinol feels further committed to sustainability. He has been moving sustainability into more areas of his life – where he spends his money on, the products he buys etc., to be a part of the change. Ravinol thinks that if each of us just change the way we spend money, businesses would change overnight. Nature Memory A walk in the woods one evening when the sun was setting behind a hill and filled the whole place with golden sunlight. Getting in to nature reminds Ravinol of a bigger sense of connection and a feeling of being part of nature. He thinks when one feels connected to nature, it is much more difficult to commit acts of violence on anyone or anything. Takeaway from this episode Be aware of the idea of connection – connection to self, connection with others, connection with nature. Ravinol most admires Tribhuvanath - A monk and friend. A daring, brave and wonderful person. Russell Brand - Comedian Elon Musk - CEO of Tesla Motors Jay Shetty - Vlogger Glen Hansard - Musician and friend Ravinol admires all of them for the same reason - they are empowered and each of them is utilising it for a higher purpose. If you could speak with a person who sees the future clearly, mindful of the ways technological advances we re making today will impact what is to come, what questions would you ask that person? This conversation with Kevin Kelly is EXACTLY that for Dane, his opportunity to speak with a person who many have called visionary and who has long impacted the way he thinks and works in the new digital economy. Kevin is co-founder of Wired Magazine and many notable organizations and online communities as well as author of several bestselling books. He s also the man Tim Ferriss refers to as possibly the most interesting man in the world. Kevin sees himself as one of many stewards of a long line of creative and innovative thought. His humble perspective is refreshing. As Dane and Kevin chat you get the distinct feeling that Kevin doesn t think he s all that important, but rather that it s important that he handles the responsibility of what he s been given, well. What has he been given? He describes it as a long legacy of innovative ideas and perspectives about what s happening in the world and how things work. Combine that with his feeling that he s been at the right place at the right time and you have as an outcome, his very prolific life and body of work. Are the accomplishments of any productive life luck, or is it destiny? Kevin Kelly and Dane Sanders take a deep dive into the issue of fortune, luck, and destiny in this interesting conversation as Kevin unpacks his beliefs about the opportunities and situations in our lives that we could not have arranged, yet come to us all the same. His belief is that much of what happens is luck, but that you are responsible to be ready when that lucky moment arrives. Whether you believe in luck or a greater sense of destiny, you re going to be challenged by the way Kevin thinks about the subject. It was inevitable that Kevin Kelly would write this book… And with a sense of irony he s titled it Inevitable. It s a compilation of Kevin s thoughts on how we got to this point in human history and where our current technological abilities and experiments are leading us into a future that cannot be avoided. What remains to be seen is how humanity will steward what we create and the opportunities that rise from it. He addresses the challenges technology faces (everything from Artificial Intelligence to mass collaboration) and the types of turning points humanity will face in deciding how to use those technologies. Will we turn the corner toward a greater society or allow ourselves to go the way of immediate profit but eventual destruction? Make some time to listen to this one. While you may not agree with Kevin s viewpoint, you will undoubtedly be challenged by it. And that is a huge step toward the creation of your inevitable future.
