Saul Rewind: the Unofficial Better Call Saul Aftershow

Join Simon and Jamie as they rewind Season 6 Episode 7 of Better Call Saul - Plan and Execute. This week the show is dominated by the colour blue as we see Jimmy & Kim execute the final acts of their plan to speed the settlement of the Sandpiper case. We find Lalo hiding in a storm drain and watch as one of his mistakes set us on a path towards Howard's execution. What does it all mean and where will the show be heading next? From Wikipedia: On the day of the Sandpiper settlement hearing, Jimmy and Kim scramble to restage their photos with the film crew and the actor standing in for Casimiro, then pass them to Howard's PI, who is secretly working for them. Howard falls for the ruse, embarrassing himself and his company at the hearing. Schweikart reverts to his less-generous prior offer, which Cliff and Howard are compelled to accept. Meanwhile, Lalo, having returned to Albuquerque, spies on Gus' laundry from a storm drain. Lalo calls Hector and, realizing the line has been tapped, tells his uncle that he will attack Gus that night; Mike redirects his security team from lower-priority targets to protect Gus and the laundry. Howard visits Jimmy and Kim's apartment and asks why they went to such elaborate lengths to humiliate him, accusing them of being sociopaths who enjoy running cons. Lalo unexpectedly arrives to talk to "his lawyers", and murders Howard with a silenced pistol.

Join Simon & Jamie as they deep dive S4 E5 "Quite a Ride" and S4 E6 "Pinata" and explore the show's symbolism, symmetry and plot twists From Wikipedia: S4 S5 "Quite a Ride" In a flash forward (taking place during Breaking Bad's "Ozymandias"), Francesca quickly shreds documents and Saul frantically collects cash, mementos and paperwork from his office before contacting his "disappearer" for a new identity. In 2003, Jimmy convinces a customer to buy several prepaid cellular phones as a way to maintain his privacy and then gets the idea to profit by reselling prepaid phones on the street. He sells them all, but the venture proves unsuccessful because he is mugged by three teenagers. As Kim treats his wounds, he blames himself for not recognizing the threat and promises to see a psychologist but instead goes to work the next day as usual. Kim is assigned as pro bono counsel for several defendants. When a problem arises with recent Mesa Verde paperwork, Kim sees her current case through to completion before responding, for which Paige later reprimands her. Mike discreetly escorts foreign structural engineers through the industrial laundry so they can evaluate the space below as a site for Gus's planned meth "superlab." Gus is impressed by one, Werner Ziegler, and offers him the job of planning and overseeing construction of the facility. S4 E6 "Piñata" In a flashback, Kim and Jimmy work in HHM's mailroom. Third-year law student Kim demonstrates her legal knowledge, impressing pre-sickness Chuck and piquing Jimmy's curiosity. Years later, Kim juggles Mesa Verde work with pro bono criminal defense cases, and Jimmy struggles financially during his suspension. Kim joins Schweikart & Cokely, enabling her to handle both Mesa Verde and criminal cases, but disappointing Jimmy, who realizes the death of his dream to re-start the Wexler-McGill office. Jimmy is informed that Geraldine, his first eldercare client, has died, and he grieves for her more than for Chuck. Jimmy tries to rouse a depressed Howard with a "tough love" speech. He uses his $5,000 inheritance to buy prepaid cell phones for street resale. This time, Jimmy intimidates his three teenage assailants into leaving him alone. Mike creates secret living and recreation facilities for Werner's crew, who begin constructing Gus's meth "superlab." Gus visits a hospitalized, unconscious Hector and previews their future by relating a childhood story about trapping a coati that ate the fruit from a lúcuma tree Gus nursed to health. Rather than humanely killing the injured coati after catching it, Gus held it and let it suffer until it died.

Join Simon & Jamie as they deep dive S4 E7 "Something Stupid" and S4 E8 "Coushatta" and explore the show's symbolism, symmetry and plot twists From Wikipedia: S4 E7 "Something Stupid" In a time jump sequence of several months that advances the series to early 2004, Jimmy and Kim are shown to be drifting further apart. Kim's arm has healed, and to Jimmy's chagrin she thrives at Schweikart & Cokely, with Mesa Verde's expansion continuing on schedule and Kim finding time to work on the pro bono criminal defense cases that give her satisfaction. Jimmy plans his return to practicing law, including searching for an office. His business re-selling prepaid phones on the street continues to grow, and he increasingly uses his "Saul Goodman" alias. Huell is arrested for assaulting a police officer who tries to get Jimmy to end his phone business and Jimmy involves Kim in defending him. He tries to get her to smear the police officer so the charges will be dropped, but she refuses, telling Jimmy she has a better way. Hector begins recovering from his stroke, so Gus dismisses Dr. Bruckner, in effect trapping Hector's recovered mind in his unhealed body. Mike observes Werner's crew during construction of the underground meth lab; work proceeds more slowly than expected, frustrating the crew, and Mike has to step in to break up a fight. S4 E8 "Coushatta" Kim enlists S&C employees in Huell's defense and indicates she'll bury prosecutor Suzanne Ericsen in paperwork. Jimmy takes a bus ride, uses a variety of pens and paper to write supportive mail for Huell, and enlists other passengers to help. The mail is sent with return addresses and postmarks from Coushatta, Louisiana, Huell's hometown. Suzanne investigates, but Jimmy has arranged for a fake church website and pay-as-you go cellular phones that Jimmy and his TV ad film crew answer. The phony support causes Suzanne to accept a plea that keeps Huell out of jail. Kim is elated, and tells Jimmy she wants to engage in similar behavior again. Mike arranges a strip club outing for Werner and his crew. Kai starts a fight, but the real problem is Werner, who drunkenly discusses underground concrete construction details with strangers. A fully healed Nacho takes prominence in the Salamanca organization and trains Domingo to punish dealers who do not meet their weekly quota. "Lalo" Salamanca arrives to aid in running the business. Unlike Hector, Lalo is interested in everyday details, which concerns Nacho. At home, Nacho keeps a safe with cash and fake Canadian IDs for himself and his father.

Jimmy posts Lalo's bail and tells Lalo he was alone and walked after his car broke down. Lalo plans to return to Mexico. Gus realizes the men who ambushed Jimmy were hired by Juan Bolsa to protect Gus's business. Jimmy lies to Kim about what happened, but Kim realizes the truth after she sees the bullet hole in his coffee mug. Kim quits Schweikart & Cokely to focus on pro bono clients. Mike tells Jimmy his post-traumatic stress will pass with time. Lalo discovers Jimmy's car and returns to Albuquerque instead of waiting for The Cousins to bring him to Mexico. Mike calls to warn Jimmy just before Lalo arrives at Kim's apartment. As Mike trains his sniper rifle on Lalo from a nearby roof, Lalo has Jimmy repeat the story of his desert walk, then asks about the bullet holes in Jimmy's car. Kim tells Lalo the car was probably destroyed by passersby and berates him for not trusting Jimmy. Lalo appears satisfied with Kim's argument and departs. He tells Nacho to head for Mexico, but not the original pickup site. S5 E10 "Something Unforgivable" After Lalo leaves, Jimmy tells Kim the truth about his desert trek with Mike. Kim and Jimmy hide at a downtown hotel. Mike tells Gus that Lalo and Nacho went to Lalo's Chihuahua home. Gus suggests Nacho can help the assassins he is sending. Kim accepts 20 pending felonies from the public defender pro bono. Nacho receives a call telling him to open Lalo's back gate at 3 am. Kim tells Howard she quit Schweikart & Cokely. Howard warns Kim about Jimmy's recent harassment and suggests Kim should stop following his lead. Kim says she is insulted by the notion that she cannot decide for herself. Mike tells Jimmy that Lalo will be killed, and Jimmy later informs Kim. They discuss forcing a Sandpiper case resolution by sabotaging Howard, which would enable Jimmy to receive his seven-figure share of the settlement sooner. Lalo introduces Nacho to Don Eladio, who gives his blessing to Nacho's plans for the Salamanca drug business. Nacho opens Lalo's gate and runs away as the assassins attack Lalo. Lalo kills all but one of the assassins. He instructs the survivor to call the middleman who arranged for the murder and report that Lalo had been assassinated.

Dr. Jörg Spitz Meine Quellen: https://www.medunigraz.at/suche/?q=Vitamin+d - Uni Graz https://www.vitamind.net/ - Dr. Schweikart

On June 12, 2016 America suffered the worst mass shooting in our history at the hands of a radical Islamic Terrorist in an Orlando nightclub. At this moment in history, American politicians are suffering from a serious lack of historical understanding. Multiple times throughout America's history, we have had to contend with radical religions whose goal was to destroy our way of life. The difference between then and now is how America chose to deal with the offenders. In Episode 60, you'll meet Dr. Larry Schweikart, a #1 NY Times Bestselling Author who walks us through examples from the past and present in a unique and compelling way. Dr. Schweikart examines 'alternative history,' which means looking at events as if they had gone differently. We drill down into specific historical examples, including one in Larry's recently published book "Halsey's Bluff,' where Dr. Schweikart examines what might have been in the Battle of Midway. Most importantly, he helps us apply historical lessons that can help American families make good decisions for our future.
