Argent BioPharma managing director and CEO Roby Zomer speaks to Proactive's Stephen Gunnion following the company's rebranding from MGC Pharmaceuticals, alongside a comprehensive restructuring. Zomer explained the shift marks a refined focus on the pharmaceutical sector, discarding previous activities not aligned with pure pharmaceutical processes. Zomer highlighted the company's advancement in drug discovery, particularly through a multidisciplinary approach and modern technologies such as nanotechnology and mRNA modulation. These innovations are targeted at addressing unmet medical needs. The company has developed notable products including CannEpil and CimetrA. CannEpil targets refractory epilepsy and has shown efficacy in controlling seizures without reported adverse events. CimetrA, developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, is designed to alleviate COVID-19 symptoms and prevent cytokine storms, with potential applications in treating other autoimmune diseases. Both drugs are now being prescribed in key markets including the United States and Europe. Zomer expressed optimism about the future, emphasizing ongoing research and progress in obtaining regulatory approvals. The focus will remain on enhancing early patient access schemes, which are expected to significantly impact revenue. The Korda sisters have always been in a hurry. Jessica, now 25, made the cut at the 2008 U.S. Women's Open at the age of 15 and was a full-time pro on the LPGA three years later. Nelly, 19, won her very first pro event on the Symetra tour in 2016, and spent last year as an LPGA rookie, making 19 of 23 cuts. And so far in 2018, they've been the talk of the town. After off-season jaw surgery and a brutal recovery, Jessica won her first start back. The very next week, Nelly battled Michelle Wie down to the final hole before losing by one. Afterward, she dissolved into her sister's arms, in a moment that revealed the depth of their bond. They talked about all of this and much more when Alan Shipnuck sat down with the Korda sisters at the Founders Cup in Phoenix for what they said was their first-ever joint interview.

Later were joined by Jim HackenbergPGA/Owner & Developer - Orange Whip Products & Jimmy Hack Golf, LLC. Here's more about Jim: Like so many aspiring golfers, my goal in life was to play on the PGA Tour. When it became clear that wasn't going to happen, I shifted my attention to the golf business and teaching. I dedicated myself to instruction and worked my way through the PGA of America program earning the status of Class "A" Professional. The years I spent teaching allowed me to observe first-hand the common problems that most amateurs experience with their golf swing. I noticed that the beginners as well as the accomplished players were being held back by the same basic problems. After years of research, experimentation and collaboration I was confident I had the perfect tool. The Orange Whip Trainer is the swing aid and golf fitness product for a new generation. I believe it to be the best swing aid ever created and am confident that anyone that uses my product on a regular basis will agree.
