This episode carefully avoids the superficial, instead offering a deep, authentic dive into the soul of chill music. Kicking off with Crew Deep's "A Whole New Level" (T.Markakis Remix), the session immediately establishes a mood of relaxed sophistication. The track's deep bass lines and subtle, energetic beats set a tone that's both calming and invigorating. It's a perfect example of how Deep House can be both soothing and stimulating. Following this, "Free" by Because Of Art, Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, takes the listener on a melodic journey. Its blend of smooth rhythms and airy synths creates an atmosphere that's both dreamy and grounded, a hallmark of our Chill Out sessions. Wassu's "The Way Back" continues this narrative. It's a track that feels like a reflective stroll, with its gentle progression and organic textures. The beauty of Organic House is in its ability to weave natural sounds into an electronic tapestry, and this track does it brilliantly. "Reverie" by PROFF further adds to the depth of "Serendipia." The song's intricate harmonies and subtle build-ups encapsulate the essence of Melodic House. It's a piece that speaks directly to the emotions, weaving a story without words. As "Serendipia" progresses, each track, from M.O.S. & Krasa Rosa's "We Are Kids" to Tony Lionni's introspective "Talking To Myself," enriches the session's narrative. These aren't just tracks; they're chapters in a story of relaxation and introspection. In "Serendipia," we strive to go beyond the usual. Each selection isn't just a part of the Chill Out session; it's an integral piece of a larger musical tapestry, one that invites listeners to unwind and explore the depths of chill music. With "Serendipia," we're not just listening to music; we're experiencing a journey through sound, emotion, and tranquility. Art and Vinnie sit down with Comedy Channel aliumni and famed sitcom writer Betsy Borns. - Art and I worked with Betsy Borns at the launch of the Comedy Channel in 1989. While there she was a producer on one of the network’s signature pieces called “Thirty, Sixty, Nineties”. - Her career skyrocketed after she left us. Art and I remained in a quiet, steady orbit, watching her success from a distance…so basically, we were Michael Collins [may he Rest In Peace] to her Neil Armstrong. - She was a writer and producer on two of the greatest sitcoms of all time, Roseanne and Friends. She wrote the classic Friends episode "The One with the Baby on the Bus" that featured the now famous “Smelly Cat” song. She went on to write and produce a wide variety of sitcoms including Bob Newhart’s return to prime time with “George & Leo” and in 2003 Betsy co-created…with Will Smith and Jada Pinket… the long running sitcom “All Of Us”. - She has a new book out called “Talking To Myself” which has an origin story that rivals Bruce Wayne’s Batman origins! Besty is also the writer of “Comic Lives” a book that came out in 1987 which is an incredible deep dive into the world of stand-up comedy. Betsy spoke to EVERYONE on the comedy scene from the 60s,70s and 80s and jam packed so much information and back stories making it a perfect time capsule of a seminal period in the history of stand up.

Andrew Westermann (AKA Andreww) has been writing music since the tender age of 13. His fascination with the medium never wavered even as his career as a male model skyrocketed and for over a decade he traveled the globe working for some of the biggest brands in the industry. That time collaborating with Dior, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Valentino, and Marc Jacobs (just to name a few) expanded Andreww's creative horizons. But now he has returned to his first love and last month he released his debut single called ``Talking To Myself``. This is the first of six singles that will be released before his album finally drops at the end of next year. Here ODDA learned more about how Andreww coped with the last year, what modeling taught him about music and what song really gets him in the holiday mood. Christmas memorabilia

Comedian Jessica Kirson joins the boys to discuss her standup special TALKING TO MYSELF, performing during the quarantine, and old tweets coming back from the dead.
In this episode I decided to do something daring. I open myself to you and share the fact that at times I am talking to myself and how I believe it all started. Also gonna mention a concept about something that I believe without any real proof of existence about something that occurs in everyone's life at one time or another - losing something and magically finding it. This has got to be the most cringe episode of No Grandmas Allowed by far. Imran makes the last minute decision of having Imran on the show. Imran the loner having a massive chat with himself. Funny stories and awkward memories. Honestly, what a loser.

Bienvenidos a Everyday Chimestry. Listado de canciones: 1.-‘Four Guys' 2.-‘Talking To Myself 3.-‘Anybody Else' 4.-‘Sick To Death' 5.-‘Jenn' 6.-‘I'm Just Sitting Here' 7.-‘Soldier Boy' 8.-‘Over The Ocean' 9.-‘Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft 10.-‘Saturday Night'
Rick is an artist, writer, poet, voice talent, storyteller, and spoken word performer. His work is whimsical at times, but often painfully real. His writing is best described as a li’l bit Steve Allen, Dr. Seuss, Benny Hill and Dory Previn. Topics may be silly (a wee bit “stand-up-y”) morality plays, often done in different voices and dialects. He has performed in the Kansas City area at Children’s Mercy Hospital, the Uptown Arts Bar, The Writer’s Place, and Prospero’s Book Store. He has been featured on THURSDAY’S SHOWCASE a one-man, 2-hour live show, and ARTSPEAK, both on KKFI, KC’s community radio station. If you wish to enter into a new relationship with life you must be willing to challenge the voices of "I can't" or "I won't" or "I don't" when they appear in your mind. This is the only way you will discover that those voices are not really you.
If you wish to enter into a new relationship with life you must be willing to challenge the voices of ""I can't"" or ""I won't"" or ""I don't"" when they appear in your mind. This is the only way you will ever have the possibility of discovering that those voices are not really you.
In Episode 13, we discuss the highs and lows of our week. Never fear loyal listeners: this week, we create several ties to previous texts on the Talking To Myself book list that have influenced and even helped us with our (perfectly normal, dare we say "HUMAN") ebbs and flows. Listen along, and don't be shy - comment with thoughts, comments or critiques. And of course, share any books you'd like for us to tackle in future episodes.
