CJ Ramone aka Christopher Joseph Ward's ALLEGED legal testimony has entered the broiling Ramones estate feud between Linda Ramone and Mickey Leigh. If real, it paints a damning, weighted picture of Joey's relationship with his brother. I am so very curious to hear what Marky Ramone might have to say about all of this. www.frumess.com FRUMESS is POWERED by www.riotstickers.com/frumess JOIN THE PATREON FOR LESS THAN A $2 CUP OF COFFEE!! https://www.patreon.com/Frumess

After the demise of the mighty Ramones there was a huge hole left in the fun-punk sub-genre. However, youngest member CJ (this fans' second fave Ramones dude (after Johnny)) stepped up and provided starving punk rockers with some great material that would have easily fit on latter era Ramones albums. So here we celebrate that material with 40 minutes of the best CJ Ramone solo material. Gabba gabba, we accept you, we accept you, one of us!!! Side One Understand Me? Rob Ruckus joins Staci on the Rock & Roll Nightmares podcast to talk about Las Vegas's Punk Rock Museum. Ruckus is a fixture on the music scene who's done everything from cohost a TV show (Bad Ink) to create a line of clothing (Hardcore Las Vegas), run events and tours at the PRM, and, of course, played bass in several bands—most notably, The Vermin. Ruckus shares insights from an insider's POV about some of the amazing events at the PRM, telling stories about everyone from The Circle Jerks to CJ Ramone, and Alice Bag to Black Flag. He also shares some fun stories about fans who've gone to the Museum's jam room to play the guitars of Joan Jett, Tim Armstrong, and many others.

Tommy Ramone talks about producing the Ramones and the Replacements in this interview from 2005 for Tape Op magazine. Along the way, we will look at how Tommy was the Ramones secret weapon all along. Without him, Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Marky Ramone, CJ Ramone, and Richie Ramone would not have the punk rock onslaught that would deeply affect all alternative music that would come after it. The band he's in is incredible. This one is such a wild ride! It's a circus party with cotton candy! With Berlin folk punk band Circus Rhapsody you can't help but be amazed. Featuring a diverse musical sound that combines wild 50s rock'n'roll with ska and melodic punk, a juggling drummer, a climbing violinist and lots of free cotton candy — the energy is unforgettable and the show is a true spectacle. Now in 2021, the band has recently signed with Californian label Mannequin Vanity Records. Together, they plan to release the new album Just Kidding in June of 2021. To tease the upcoming album, Circus Rhapsody will drop their new single “Revolution” in May as well as several covers of their friends' bands in a #singmysongmydearfriend social campaign. Music and performance videos will support the release as well. Running publicity will be Melanie Kaye PR (formerly of Fat Wreck Chords Canada). In 2019 Circus Rhapsody celebrated their 400th concert. Performances took place with Less Than Jake, Ignite, Wednesday 13, Nekromantix, The Kooks, Jaya the Cat, The Montreal, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Mutabor and Turbostaat. Whether at a festival, small club or large hall – the four friendly rockers put on their very own frenetic show in every possible location. For their 2018 tour the band supported the community 7 ” Sexxxy as fuck! Public by Two presenta su video y sencillo "Despertar". #PublicByTwo #Musicos #Entrevista #Lanzamiento #VideoOfficial #Despertar #EntreArtistasRadioyTv #CanalDeNoticiasCulturales #ByCsarZuri

This is a HUGE deal for me guys. I got to sit down with one of my favorite bass players from one of my favorite bands ever. In this first part we discussed CJ's relationship with his fans , how he joined the Marines and ended up auditioning for Ramones, his full circle moment sitting on the plane with the band on his first tour, the dynamics of the band when he joined and his relationship with the band members. CJ was cool enough to do a Part 2 which will come out in the next couple weeks so lookout for that ! I could've asked him a million questions and talked for hours and luckily CJ was a sweetheart of a guy and so open to talking to me about his life and time with Ramones. I couldn't be more grateful to him for taking time out of his day to talk to some random 25 year old kid from the East Coast. Instagram - @cjramone Instagram - @consciouscouchshow

Southern California punks Total Massacre, a self-described band of "anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-capitalists," have just dropped a raging and politically charged new track titled, "Get Rich or Try Dying." Of the track, singer Cap'n No-Fun says, “Get Rich or Try Dying started like most of our songs do, with a suggestion for a funny song title (this time from our drummer Tommy) combined with the unshakeable sense that literally everything has been fundamentally stacked against us. So not exactly new territory for us as far as songwriting goes but I feel like this one does a good job honing in on one of the really important points that I think is pretty important, and all too easily overlooked: That our lives are the commodity that is being bought and sold.” For the music video, the band enlisted the creative mind of Dylan Howard, the drummer from LA punk band The Lungs, who directed the clip. “Get Rich Or Try Dying” music video: https://youtu.be/LhWcVFjnIvcStream the track on digital platforms here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/totalmassacre/get-rich-or-try-dying The punk ethos is present in everything Total Massacre does, and has earned them an international following in an extremely short amount of time. Committed to bashing authority and calling out the dog whistle of fascism whatever the source, Total Massacre plays every song with a sense of urgency and dread as if at any second some lunatic in the White House might unleash nuclear annihilation upon us all. The LA-based 4-piece channels the breakneck pace and buzzsaw guitars of 80's hardcore with lyrics drenched in the sweat, tears, and disaffected rage of life today. Explicitly political and anti-fascist vocals bark an outraged retort to both the ineffectual, self-defeating cynicism of neoliberal centrists and the greedy, craven nihilism of modern-day conservatives. The self-titled Total Massacre (2018) and the blistering follow-up The System Works... (2019) laid the foundation for what this band stands for. Their live show came a long way, garnering a performance at 2019's Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival, and gigs opening for acts like Pennywise, The Bronx, MDC, Total Chaos, Naked Aggression, CJ Ramone, Flipper, Mondo Generator, Verbal Abuse, Angry Samoans, Mean Jeans, Pulley, DFL and more. The band was primed and ready to share the stage with Pears when Covid 19 shut everything down. Total Massacre spent the downtime writing songs remotely, rehearsing only once or twice before convening to record “the songs of 2020”, all to be released as a series of singles through the first half of 2021. The bands' home base studio Beer City nearly burned down in 2020, but should be up and running in time for the band to record another flurry of singles. As glad as they are that Trump will be out of office, they aren't holding their breath for the democratic establishment to fix our dumpster of a country, so you can count on plenty more pissed off hardcore from Total Massacre soon. Frank MacKay, Chairman of the Independence Party of New York talks about the Independence Party and its history and influence in New York State politics, as well as politics for the entire nation. Frank has a very active career in public relations, entertainment and politics spanning four decades and encompassing a diversity of disciplines. Back in 1985, at the age of 18, he published his first music production called “Network”, which quickly became a hit among music business insiders, musicians and their fans. Over the next decade, Frank built a significant following in the music industry as a band and club promoter, and by the time he was 25, he had launched three nightclubs known as Dr. Shay's and managed entertainers such as Criss Angel and CJ Ramone. On the political front, back in 1992, Frank became active in Ross Perot's third party presidential run. He was always a student of politics, and early in his career in entertainment he helped club-goers register to vote by the thousands. In 1995, he became a key organizer in the Independence Party of New York and active in third party politics. By the year 2000, at the age of 32, Frank became the youngest State Chairman of a political party in New York State history, and has since been elected as State Chair of the Independence Party of New York. The Independence Party has grown significantly under his leadership, and has now joined forces with the Alliance Party. Currently, Frank hosts “Breaking it Down,” a leading celebrity radio and podcast talk show, which is nationally syndicated and has a faithful following of thousands of listeners.

Today on the Neil Haley Show, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview CJ Ramone of The Ramones. Hey ho, let's go! For generations of punk aficionados the Ramones remain one of the most important rock'n'roll bands of all time, and in the midst of their amazing career young bassist Chris Ward got to join his heroes on the frontline and spend seven years as CJ Ramone. He talks to Steve Bell about life behind the Ramones' curtain, strange but fulfilling relationships and keeping the band's wonderful music alive. After a particularly fractious time in the band's notoriously fractured history (which had kicked off way back in 1974), founding bassist Dee Dee Ramone left the band – although strangely he continued to contribute songs for years after his departure – and his big shoes were filled by Ward, who then got to spend seven years alongside his heroes as CJ Ramone (all Ramones members adopted the band name as their own, helping forge the image of a gang), touring the world and playing the songs that he'd grown up worshipping to armies of equally fanatical devotees. The Ramones eventually split in 1996, and now sadly all four original Ramones members have passed away, leaving only CJ and later-era drummers Marky Ramone and Richie Ramone alive to carry the flame. CJ was a veteran of three Australian tours with the Ramones – 1989, 1991 and 1994. http://www.bombcityfilm.com/
