The second assassination attempt on President Trump once again highlights the incredible dangers of “chumming for monsters.” As the Irish Republican Army told U.K. Premier Margaret Thatcher after one of their bombs failed to kill the legendary Prime Minister, she had to be lucky every single time; the IRA had to be lucky only once. When people from different, well-known bands form a new project, we often call them supergroups. Most of the time, these bands have only little to say, because it can be quite hard to arrive at similar ideas. With False Fed this is surely not a topic, because these four guys know what they are doing, how to do it and - most important - what they want to say. The Covid-born project consists of four people who, at least when we talked back in October, had never all been in the same room! Nevertheless, their debut record Let Them Eat Fake is biting and scratching and full of songs and stories very close to the band members' hearts! Enjoy our interview with all of them and do not forget to check out their record at the bottom of this page! Discharge. Amebix. Ministry. Soulfly. The list could be continued and we'd be not going but sliding down a rabbit-hole of unperceivable depths. If you wanna do that, you might consider taking a week of unpaid holidays. The band itself didn't have to take a holiday to record their songs because it was conceived during the Pandemic, even though they never met in one room or recording studio - thanks to the interview for once because without it, this record would have been much more complicated to get done! We talked with the guys about what “urgency” might imply, very deeply about some of the songs, whether they want to take this record on the road and much more. Enjoy!

Recent theories place the globalist psychopaths or their useful idiots as Gnostics seeking transcendence from this material world. Is that true, or is it based upon a fundamental misunderstanding of what Gnosticism really is? In this episode I'm joined by none other than Gnostic scholar John Lamb Lash and our mutual friend Rob Miller for a monumental discussion about Gnosticism's relationship to life-affirming Paganism and how it can reinforce our folkish, heathen response to the war against humanity. A conversation not to be missed.Find John on Odysee (https://odysee.com/@JohnLambLash:c) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/JohnLambLashNemeta), and his teachings on nemeta.org (https://nemeta.org/).Rob is known for his swordsmithing and his musical work with Tau Cross and Amebix. Amebix & Zygote with Stig Miller in conversation with David Eastaugh Amebix were an English crust punk band. Formed as the Band with No Name, the band's original run was from 1978 to 1987, during which time they released three EPs and two full-length albums. The group reunited in 2008, released another full-length album in 2011, and disbanded again in November 2012. By being one of the first bands to blend anarcho-punk and heavy metal music, Amebix are often cited as one of the key bands that helped to create the crust punk style, and are considered as a proto-thrash/extreme/speed metal band.Such notable bands as Sepultura, Neurosis and Deviated Instinct have paid homage to the band.
Ep 18 with Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga. He has also drummed for Soulfly, Ministry, Amebix, Hellyeah & Nausea. With a new project False Fed in the making this makes for a really insightful chat. Roy's just finished the movie score for the new foo fighers horror film out in Feb so we get the lowdown on that process. Also how he went about recording such legendary metal albums such as Soulfly's 1st & 3rd album's and Stone sours strong back catalogue. Special thanks to Roy for being a great guest and for coming on the podcast.
Følgende utgivelser er ventet i 2021 og 2022: Aiwass – Children of the Cathedral World (Nero Corvino Records, vinteren 2022). Aiwass – The Suicide Sessions Pt. 1–Pt. 3. Tre album (Nero Corvino Records, 2022). Cold Orbit - "Caravans", "Mekanix", "The Ice Planet" og "Moonglider". De fire første uutgitte albumene fra 2000-2010(Earth and Sky Productions, 2022. Conjuration – "The House on Nuclear Hill" EP og "Necrocreation Demo" EP. Ute på dobbelt-CD og LP (Folter Records, vinter, 2021/2022). Nocturnal Breed – Face Your Aggressor (25 Years in the Bunker). Nocturnal Breed – Whiskey Tapes Brazil (Black Metal Store.com Records, vinteren 2021/2022). Nocturnal Breed – Whiskey Tapes Italia (Decibel Productions/Eternal Winter Records, vinteren 2021/2022). Nocturnal Breed – The Horror. Tidligere uutgitt demoalbum 2003-2004 (Decibel Productions/Eternal Winter Records, 2022). Svartalv – Alfirin: A Tribute to J.R.R. Tolkien. Nytt dobbeltalbum (Gollum's Treasure/Earth and Sky Prod., vinteren 2021/2022). Agressor – Black Church En tidlig undergrunnsklassiker for meg. Amebix – I.C.B.M. Her er det fingerferdigheter, ass! Assassin – Assassin Ekstremt rå thrash som bodde i walkmanen i lange perioder. God feel! Bathory – You Dont Move Me… Kommer ikke unna Quorte', ass. Faen, som han har inspirert gjennom tida. Og jo støggere, jo bedre. Her i nydelig demoutfoldelse i Motörhead-drivet. Fet epic metal feel! Hinsides hvasst! Alle burde lære av slike mesterverk. Også som debutskive… Holy dæng, ass. Det er sveitserost-gutta sine, det! Crimson Glory – In Dark Places Cheesy igjen… Men her svinger jentene, gitt! Gorgoroth – Begravelsesnatt Gamle kompiser, gammal musikk, gamle feelinger. Hades – Alone Walkyng Igjen her og. Perfekt vestlandsk BM fra gamle dager. Bra folk og røttene rota i sort jord. Perfekt demofeel fra gamle dager! Helloween – Victim of Fate En kassettklassiker til. Madam X – High in Highschool Veldig cheesy kassettklassiker i min heim. Total 80's labbe-til-skolen-i-sebra-tights-låt. Og folk får selv sjekke hvem som spiller her. Nuclear Assault – Betrayal Ekstremt fet demoversjon. Reinspikka thrash slik det skal være! Ozzy Osbourne – Diary of a Madman En av mine absolutte favoritter gjennom alle tider. «Går det an å lage noe sånt?»-greie. Plasmatics – The Damned Wendy O'på sitt råeste. Q5 – Steel the light Kunne vært trøndermetal detta her! Hyperspilt i walkmanen en periode. Skikkelig pannebånd-cheesy porn rock. R.A.V.A.G.E. – On The Slay Dette bandet ble til Atheist etter hvert, også ble de litt vel blomkåletende med tida. Jævlig bra drikkelåt for unge spirer. Savatage – Necrophilia Igjen en klassiker for meg. Kassettsliter deluxe. Trust – Antisocial Her er originalen, ja. Men Doro, ass. Hvass dame nr. 3 i rekka etter de to før nevnte. Venom -In memory off Venom, ja, kommer ikke unna dem heller. Støgt, men frisluppent. Ep13 Bristol Punks Amebix legendary guitarist Chris Stig Miller talks to face in the crowd podcast. We talk AMEBIX, ZYGOTE, his recording process and new material / collaborations he's working on. We also cover going off grid, getting an uzi pointed at you in Eastern Europe, and the general control technology has over people, and the possibility of new musical movements. With extra questions from DISORDERS Chris boobs Neil thrown it, we had a blast with this one
Punk rock icon and world-class swordsmith Rob "The Baron" Miller joins me on the latest episode. We discuss his early days as a member of the iconic crust punk band Amebix, the controversy that led to him parting ways with his record label and his bandmates in Tau Cross, cancel culture, sword making, and more.Fair warning, this episode contains more socio-political conversation than I normally get into and it delves into some subject matter that may make certain listeners uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I think it was a valuable and important conversation. You have been warned.Episode Links: Tau Cross on Bandcamp - https://taucross2.bandcamp.com/Risen Amebix Documentary - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQXp3e64tjkCastle Keep - https://www.castlekeep.co.uk
On this august 37th episode of Terminus, we bring you one of our most eclectic lineups in a long while, including not one, but two, or maybe even three death metal bands -- depending on how you count. The Death Metal Guy leads off with a flattening second record from Altered Dead, who immediately join Pneuma Hagion and Sepulchral Curse in the Terminus pantheon of "OSDM-type stuff that's actually original and really good." Altered draw on some of the same core influences as P.H. - American stuff from the early 90s - but deliver an entirely different synthesis. What is it? Listen and find out.... The Black Metal Guy follows with the long-awaited return of Stargazer, known for their highly melodic, prog-tending variant of Australian war metal. But how, The Death Metal Guy asks, does this have anything to do with Bestial Warlust or Destroyer 666?? A fair question. The astral exploration has wandered a little far from home base. Kicking off the second half, The Death Metal Guy tears into the relatively pristine flesh of 2021 with his first brutal death metal record of the year. Anal Stabwound has a brutal name and a brutaller backstory, but what's brutalest about this one man army is his sophisticated approach to composition - all in the service of savagery. To close out, The Black Metal Guy takes us back in time to a November 2020 release that flew totally under his radar -- Tau Cross' third album, Messengers of Deception. It's a bit of an outlier on an extreme metal show, because it's in many ways a heavy rock album. But it's rock as written by Rob Miller, who helped invent extreme metal in his 80s crust punk band Amebix. Rest assured, the same ragged roar and apocalyptic vision are at work here. 00:00 - Introductory bullshitting / quick Terminus news / rundown of bands and labels 11:17 - Altered Dead - Returned to Life (Memento Mori)* 54:03 - Stargazer - Psychic Secretions (Nuclear War Now!) 01:52:19 - Interlude - Vintersorg - "Dopt I en Jokelsjo," fr. Solens Rotter (Napalm Records / Irond Records / Scarecrow Records / Somber Music) 01:58:33 - Anal Stabwound - The Visceral Sovereign (Inherited Suffering Records) 02:33:57 - Tau Cross - Messengers of Deception (Heretical Music, distributed by Easy Action Records) 03:29:15 - Outro - Amebix - “The Power Remains,” fr. Monolith (Heavy Metal Records, 1987). There's an official Bandcamp, run by Stig I believe, where you can buy a remaster of Monolith, and original versions of the rest of the discography. *CORRECTION: TDMG accidentally refers to Memento Mori as an Italian label. Memento Mori is from Spain. Terminus links: Terminus on Youtube Terminus on Patreon Terminus on Subscribestar Terminus on Instagram Terminus on Facebook thetrueterminus@gmail.com

Under New Management (S/t / Svart)Discharge - Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing (S/t / Clay)Amebix - I.C.B.M (Monolith / Heavy Metal)Anti Cimex - Raped Ass (S/t / A-Records)Doom - Police Bastard (S/t / Profane Existence)Victims - The Horse And Sparrow Theory (S/t / Relapse)His Hero Is Gone - Like Weeds (Monument To Thieves / Prank)Disfear - Deadweight (Live The Storm / Relapse)Morrow - The Norr (Covenant Of Teeth / Alerta Antifascista)
Neurosis is a band that transcends classification; their influence can be felt across most genres ofextreme music. Formed in 1985 by Scott Kelly, Dave Edwardson and Jason Roeder, their early soundwas based in the hardcore punk style of Amebix. Discharge, Crass and other UK punks. StevenVon Till Joined the band in 1989 and Noah Landis replaced their original synth player, Simon McIlroyin 1995 which completed the modern lineup of the band.Released on April 23, 1996 on Relapse Records, “Through Silver in Blood” was the manifestation ofall of the strife and turmoil that the band members have been going through. The result was a monolithicepic drawing influence from a myriad of sources such as Black Sabbath, Swans, Black Flag and alethal dose of raw emotion.Intro: “Eye”Outro : “Locust Star” See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
