This weekend brought Maya's ballet recital and flashed me back 35 years to a strip mall computer store, where I left with an $800 piece of plastic in my hand—and an unexpected memory. Oprah Winfrey has just flown the Duggar family, in late 2006, from their isolated farm in Arkansas to Chicago. They looked like time travelers.
