The Wilson County Courthouse parking lot will be off limits on Election Day, May 3. The county commissioners voted April 28 in favor of closing the parking lot during Saturday's election — due to “intimidating factors” that occurred during last year's election. A Floresville resident, Ophelia Silva — who explained she has been assisting with elections for the past 30 years — voiced her concerns to the commissioners during public comments.
