Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF) managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive's Tylah Tully about updates from the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia, particularly its Scotia Mine. Cmrlec highlighted that recent grade control drilling results had returned high-grade intersections, extending beyond the existing reserve position. "The big news is that there's quite a bit of development at high grades well outside of the old reserve position," he said, emphasising the project's growth potential. As the company continues its development efforts, Cmrlec noted that recent results had identified a 70-metre mine extension and more than 100 metres of new development outside the current plan. He stated that Pantoro remained on track to reach full steady-state production at Scotia by the end of the March quarter, with production expected to surpass 100,000 ounces annually when combined with other Norseman operations. Additionally, open-pit mining at Princess Royal is set to begin in early March, with significant ore production anticipated in the second half of the year. With Scotia ramping up and new developments underway, Pantoro is set for an eventful and productive year ahead. #Pantoro #GoldMining #NorsemanGold #ASXStocks #MiningNews #ScotiaMine #GoldExploration #Investing #AustraliaMining

Send us a textHello, passionate cruisers! This is Paul. I am delighted to welcome back this week on The Joy of Cruising Podcast, Roland and Emma, a couple I first met on a Facebook cruise group, and I immediately anointed them as my new travel role models. That cruise group happened to be the most influential on Facebook—the 106,000 member Melanin At Sea, created by friends of the show and global cruise personalities A Rich and Jazzy Life. Roland and Emma were the first guests to come on The Joy of Cruising Podcast not as global cruise personalities, but as “ordinary” cruisers to talk to the listeners about an extraordinary bucket list cruise. I had seen their great description and photos of the cruise, and I reached out to them and enjoyed reliving the cruise with them. Well, they did it again! This time Roland and Emma traveled via land and sea on an epic European adventure covering 61 days! So, when I called them my new cruise role models before that might have been hyperbole; now I want to know if they are looking to hire an administrative assistant! The Epic Euro trip started with: -· 5 days in Airbnb London· 14-night cruise Sky Princess (from London), a back-to-back · 14 Night Land of the Midnight Sun Cruise Sky Princess· 7-night Oasis of the Seas Spain/Italy· 3-city Spain AdventureRelying on ship wifi is slow, unsecure, sometimes not available & at foreign ports travelers don't want to pay their carriers' high fees. Albany's Princess Royal Harbour was named by British Explorer George Vancouver in 1791. He chose to honour Princess Charlotte, Queen of Wurttemberg and eldest daughter of King George III. The local Minang - Noongar people call it 'Mammang Koort' meaning 'The Heart of the Wild Whale'. Recognising the strategic importance of Albany and it's magnificent harbours, construction began in 1891 on the Princess Royal Fortress 'The Forts', paid for by the British Imperial government and the various Australian colonies.

fWotD Episode 2584: Ludwigsburg Palace Welcome to featured Wiki of the Day where we read the summary of the featured Wikipedia article every day.The featured article for Saturday, 1 June 2024 is Ludwigsburg Palace.Ludwigsburg Palace, nicknamed the "Versailles of Swabia", is a 452-room palace complex of 18 buildings located in Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its total area, including the gardens, is 32 ha (79 acres) – the largest palatial estate in the country. The palace has four wings: the northern wing, the Alter Hauptbau, is the oldest and was used as a residence of the Duke of Württemberg; the east and west wings were used for court purposes and housing guests and courtiers; the southern wing, the Neuer Hauptbau, was built to house more court functions and was later used as a residence.Eberhard Louis, Duke of Württemberg, appointed Philipp Joseph Jenisch to direct the work, and construction began in 1704. In 1707, Jenisch was replaced by Johann Friedrich Nette, who completed the majority of the palace and surrounding gardens. Nette died in 1714, and Donato Giuseppe Frisoni finished much of the palace façades. In the final year of construction, Eberhard Louis died, and the Neue Hauptbau's interiors were left incomplete. Charles Eugene's court architect, Philippe de La Guêpière, completed and refurbished parts of the New Hauptbau in the Rococo style, especially the palace theatre. Charles Eugene abandoned the palace for Stuttgart in 1775. Duke Frederick II, later King Frederick I, began using Ludwigsburg as his summer residence in the last years of Charles Eugene's reign. Frederick and his wife Charlotte, Princess Royal, resided at Ludwigsburg and employed Nikolaus Friedrich von Thouret to renovate the palace in the Neoclassical style. Thouret converted much of Ludwigsburg's interiors over the reign of Frederick and later life of Charlotte. As a result of each architect's work, Ludwigsburg is a combination of Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassical, and Empire style architecture. The constitutions of the Kingdom and Free People's State of Württemberg were ratified at Ludwigsburg Palace, in 1819 and 1919 respectively. It was the residence for four of Württemberg's monarchs and some other members of the House of Württemberg and their families. The palace was opened to the public in 1918 and survived World War II intact. It underwent periods of restoration in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1990s and again for the palace's 300th anniversary in 2004. The palace had more than 350,000 visitors in 2017 and has hosted the Ludwigsburg Festival every year since 1947.Surrounding the palace are the Blooming Baroque (Blühendes Barock) gardens, arranged in 1954 as they might have appeared in 1800. Nearby is Schloss Favorite, a hunting lodge built in 1717 by Frisoni. Within the palace are two museums operated by the Landesmuseum Württemberg dedicated to fashion and porcelain respectively. This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 00:30 UTC on Saturday, 1 June 2024.For the full current version of the article, see Ludwigsburg Palace on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm Aditi Standard.

So many layers today...Hours before he was due to appear at the 10th anniversary service of thanksgiving at St Paul's, Harry was spotted leaving an event. Harry waved and said "hello" to onlookers. Holding a black folder under his arm, Harry was asked if he was "happy to be home", to which he simply chuckled and dodged the question by saying: "Nice to see you."We'll take that as no.Royal expert Charlotte Griffiths She claimed Harry made "certain demands" about who could be in the room for a meeting with the King, and who couldn't. One wonders if the couldn't includes Camilla, the wicked stepmother.Royal expert Rupert Bell suggested to TalkTV "Maybe the King just feels like he's not ready, emotionally, as well as anything else, to have even 30 minutes with his son."Thirty minutes isn't really enough time to get beyond the small talk stage. What they really needs is some honest-to-goodness father and son time."On Wednesday, Prince Harry made a poignant entrance into St. Paul's Cathedral, adorned with four medals proudly displayed on his blazer, accompanied by another around his neck. His attire spoke volumes about his dedicated service and commitment to various causes. The medals adorning his blazer included the Operational Service Medal for Afghanistan, the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal, each symbolizing different milestones and achievements in his service to the nation.Around his neck, he wore a star, a distinguished emblem signifying his status as the Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (RVO), further highlighting his esteemed position within the royal hierarchy. However, amidst the solemnity of the occasion, Prince Harry appeared to stand alone, without any other members of the royal family by his side. While he attended the Invictus Games service at St. Paul's Cathedral, his absence was notable at Buckingham Palace, where the King hosted the inaugural annual garden party, joined by other senior royals. As he entered St. Paul's Cathedral, Prince Harry greeted the crowd with a warm smile and a wave, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and resilience that defines the Invictus Games. His presence at the event, where he was slated to deliver a reading alongside actor Damian Lewis, served as a poignant reminder of his ongoing commitment to serving those who have sacrificed for their country.Harry received a warm welcome from the Dean, the Very Reverend Andrew Tremlett, as he was escorted to his seat beneath the cathedral's majestic dome.Taking his place beside his mentor, Mark Dyer, Prince Harry engaged in a brief exchange with his uncle, Earl Spencer.Acknowledging the stark realities of conflict and its aftermath, the Dean lamented, "We lament the pain, cost, and indignity of war and terror, and pray for a world where justice shall reign and where the nations will find their longed-for unity.""We recall, with admiration, the skill and determination of those who seek to repair, rehabilitate, and reclaim the lives of those living with serious illness or injury: changing and saving lives."..Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News "Mike Tindall, who is the husband of Zara, the King's niece, has been given a high position to do something about the Invictus Games."I think Harry is absolutely furious about this. It has been announced, but very quietly." The Royal Family presented a united front in support of King Charles at the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the summer season. His Majesty was joined by Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for the event.Charles, dressed in a distinguished grey suit paired with a light blue waistcoat, greeted the gathered crowds with a smile as he entered the garden alongside the Queen.Buckingham Palace announced Prince William and his father would be sharing a joint engagement in the upcoming week. William will be bestowed with the distinguished title of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps.Prior to Prince Harry's decision to step back from royal responsibilities four years ago, it was widely speculated that he would assume this prestigious role, considering his deep connection with the regiment he had bravely served alongside during his time in Afghanistan until 2014.The timing of the announcement, however, raised eyebrows among royal observers. "Timing is everything," remarked one insider. Another insider noted that the King's choice to pass on this cherished role to his eldest son, coupled with the apparent lack of a meeting with Prince Harry, is likely to be interpreted as a deliberate messageRoyal Insider Deep Crown tells us, “"The timing of Prince William's appointment as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps is no accident." And as for the King being busy, Deep Crown quipped, remarks Deep Crown, a seasoned royal insider. "Even I could secure 15 minutes with the King this week, if His Majesty had wanted to make time for me."
Paula Lester has been running the features desk at Country Life magazine for over a decade. So when His Majesty The King — Prince Charles, as he was at the time — agreed to guest edit the magazine, she was the obvious choice to guide him and his team through the process. The result, as Paula tells James Fisher on this week's Country Life Podcast, could never have been foreseen: after months of work and literally thousands of emails, the magazine became Country Life's best-selling issue of all time. A second guest edit came; then The Princess Royal took the helm as well; and in 2022, it was the turn of Queen Camilla, while still Duchess of Cornwall, to try her hand at it.Paula talks through those extraordinary experiences, and what it was like to work with His Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses on putting together an issue of the magazine. Everything from commissioning features to arrange a photo shoot carried out by none other than The Duchess of Cambridge (now Princess of Wales) — who phoned Paula while she was at the hairdresser! As well as the royal guest edits, Paula explains how the magazine's features come together each week, looking at where ideas come from, how they're brought to life, and the amazing team around her who make sure that it happens 52 weeks a year.Episode creditsHost: James FisherGuest: Paula LesterEditor and Producer: Toby KeelMusic: JuliusH via PixabaySpecial thanks: Adam Wilbourn Hosted on Acast. Queen Victoria's great-grand children, the children of King George V were a fascinating bunch. The two eldest brothers Edward VIII and George VI both took their turns on the throne. The four younger siblings never wore crowns but still got into plenty of mischief. MARCH 25th is the LAST DAY TO BOOK: https://trovatrip.com/trip/europe/united-kingdom/united-kingdom-with-lindsay-holiday-may-2024 Today we assume that all the daughters of a monarch are called Princesses. But in the middle ages this wasn't the case. The title Princess was not officially used in England for the daughter of the monarch until 1643. Since then there have been 7 women who have held the title of Princess Royal; Mary, Anne, Charlotte, Victoria, Louise, Mary and Anne. Let's meet them and see how the lives and roles of a Princess Royal have evolved over 400 years. Princess Mary, Princess of Orange (1631-1660) Princess Anne, Princess of Orange (1709-1759) Princess Charlotte, Queen consort of Württemberg (1766–1828) Princess Victoria, German Empress and Queen consort of Prussia (1840–1901) Princess Louise, Duchess of Fife (1867–1931) Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood (1897–1965) Princess Anne (1950) Join me every Tuesday when I'm Spilling the Tea on History! Hard-working, witty, not scared of a challenge, and recycles her clothes -- the bar is low for the British Royal Family, but Anne makes it work in her favor. Why then did Anne -- a media darling and the apple of Britain's eye -- end up becoming the only member of the current royal family to get a criminal conviction??? Based on a 1902 novel of the same name, this 80's flick brought together two of the 80's greatest funnymen and an established director who wasn't prone to making comedies. Despite primarily negative reviews, it still did well at the box office and was a mainstay on cable television over the years, making it beloved by those who were watching basic cable channels in the late 80s and early 90s. So break out the calculators, get ready to spend some cash, and watch out for the oncoming train in the back of the baseball field as Tim Williams and guest co-hosts Nicholas Pepin and Chad Sheppard discuss “Brewster's Millions” from 1985 on this episode of the 80's Flick Flashback Podcast! Here are some additional behind-the-scenes trivia we were unable to cover in this episode: Anne, Princess Royal, only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, was in Los Angeles and paid a visit to the set of Brewster's Millions as part of her itinerary. She was greeted by Candy and producer Joel Silver; Candy and the princess discussed a fire that had recently broken out at Pinewood Studios in England. She was scheduled to visit a scene involving Richard Pryor, but it was shot a day earlier, as Hill had production ahead of schedule. "I don't think she even knows Richard Pryor," an observer was quoted as saying. "I'm sure she was more excited at meeting John Candy, who's a Canadian citizen." Walter Hill, director of The Warriors and 48 Hrs., admitted in 1988 that at the time the only film he didn't make out of passion was Brewster's Millions. Hill made the movie to "improve his bank account and success quotient." A heartfelt statement was released from from the Princess Royal, who accompanied her mother's coffin on its long journey from Balmoral to Buckingham Palace. Queen Elizabeth II was the head of state in 15 of the 56 Commonwealth countries. Professor Chandrika Kaul joins Krupa Padhy to discuss the way the Queen led the Commonwealth countries and the challenges King Charles III may face as a monarch, and as a man, as some countries express an interest in becoming a republic. 'Beehives, Bobs & Blowdries' is an exhibition celebrating the art and skills of hairdressing along with some of the most iconic looks of the past 70 years, it opens in The Piece Hall in Halifax on the 17th September. Our reporter Tamsin Smith saw the exhibition when it was in Barnsley and she spoke to some of the women perusing the exhibits about some of the looks they've tried over the years and about where they got their style inspiration from. Since she was a girl the writer and broadcaster Natalie Haynes has been fascinated by Greek Myths. Her fourth novel ‘Stone Blind' tells the story of Medusa and gets us way beyond snake hair and a deadly gaze to understand why she's become the monster in re-tellings of her story over centuries.
