Hi friends - John Wenz is back for another installment of Nebraska-centric weirdness. John is originally from Nebraska, and like myself, is obsessed with the state's long history or weird tales. We get into super strange UFO encounters, a famous serial killer who saw a bigfoot in the 1950's, healing machines, and a ton more. John is a great dude, and I highly recommend his beautiful zine Strange Highways. Enjoy!Love, Steve For more John Wenz: https://www.instagram.com/dumbartfinsta/https://johnwenz.square.site/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAac10om5cj_xkZe_h6MI31yEK-sBD2A3gs_KERZecluyvpPsQGqwkfRRGgywPg_aem_X_sYv0pFiAg0FuBXY3yRtAhttps://art.johnwenz.com/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAae_87LH5Nd83czptbOw4YTFx_GbMK4oTqiGdgYgPwRK7xygEm0SncaviWRRuw_aem_RcwQ0WNvc6DjbTcPOpk7ZwSteve Berg LInks:https://www.patreon.com/HiStrangenesslinktr.ee/stevebergPretty please subscribe and leave a review!

In this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys kick things off by discussing the upcoming deer season and their plans to visit the Texas State Fair. Kyle shares his love for donuts and chocolate milk, admitting that he has to avoid donut shops to resist temptation consciously. Then, the show turns into the strange as an upstate New York resident recounts a sighting his partner had, followed by the witness's eerie encounter with an upright goat-human hybrid. Next, an Oklahoma teen has a chilling experience when he wakes up for a drink and spots a red-eyed humanoid outside his window, radiating malevolence. In another disturbing encounter, a young boy faces a strange humanoid figure crouched in the corner of his bedroom, its features unnervingly inhuman. After the break, Cam delves into bizarre encounters with what can only be described as "Road Trolls." These unsettling creatures, explored in detail by author Jerry D. Coleman in his books Strange Highways and More Strange Highways, are frequently reported by truckers traveling along dark highways in the Southern and Midwestern U.S. Witnesses often describe a prominent, hairy, troll-like figure dressed in tattered clothing, sometimes with a wooden peg leg. What begins as a sighting of a drifter quickly escalates into something far more disturbing as the true nature of these road-dwelling creatures becomes apparent. All of this and more is on this installment of Expanded Perspectives! La nueva banda lanzó un nuevo disco, Lock up the Wolves. We close out the year in excellent fashion with DIO-CEMBER VOL2! We left off last week with Ronnie James Dio fronting Black Sabbath. Inasmuch as the chemistry was palatable, Ronnie needs and change and things pick up in 1983. The Holy Diver album is an absolute powerhouse because of its lineup. Guitarist Vivian Campbell, bassist Jimmy Bain, and drummer Vinny Appice were the perfect arsenal to back Ronnie up. Accordingly, the results are made clear in the material they released. To follow up Holy Diver with such strong albums as Last in Line and Sacred Heart speaks to the power of this lineup. DIO-CEMBER VOL2 DIO-CEMBER VOL2 explores the many changes that took place in Ronnie's career. While the original lineup gets plenty of love in this episode, we also aim to show you that fantastic material was released well after they ceased to be a unit. Consequently, you'll get tracks from DIO albums including Dream Evil, Lock Up the Wolves, Strange Highways, Magica, Killing the Dragon, and Master of the Moon. Additionally, Aaron spins a great track from the Heaven and Hell lineup. Ronnie James Dio may no longer be with us but he leaves a musical legacy that endures. Indeed, his incomparable voice raised the bar for such legends as Richie Blackmore and Tony Iommi. Additionally, the impressive material that he put out through the DIO is an undeniable template to the greatness of Heavy Metal. We hope you've enjoyed DIO-CEMBER. Holy Diver foi muito bem aceito e deixou clássicos como a faixa-título, "Stand Up and Shout", "Don't Talk to Strangers" e a mais famosa "Rainbow in the Dark".
