Kevin Gray takes the eCoustics Vintage Audio team on a surprising journey with his thoughts on all things audio and what he uses to enjoy his favorite recordings, including his celebrated Blue Note Tone Poet releases.Sponsored by: Howard Products - Keep your audio equipment looking as good as it sounds!Learn more at: https://www.howardproducts.comAbout Mitch Anderson:All-vinyl broadcaster since 2009 via Black Circle Radio. Soon after, his brother gave him an old Sansui AU-555 Integrated Amplifier. Background.-Ho iniziato a fare il DJ all'età di 13 anni. Scarfiotti@robingood.it
CASTxOFF Podcast 08: Eye Self (@eye.self)Eye Self’s sets are diverse and intimate, bringing high energy and positive vibes to the dancefloor. With an appreciation for styles ranging from tech house to deep tech, minimal tech to funk, and afro beats to indie dance, his gift for intertwining them all is uncanny. He has an ability to generate a party atmosphere, inspire joy and inclusion, and create an energetic dance floor in any scenario. His love for music led him to his first pair of Technics SL-1200’s in 2003, and ever since then, his passion was revealed. While living in San Francisco, it was in 2008 that his career in music began to flourish, and he fell in love with house and techno music. He has since been crafting his personal expression through DJing the genre while maintaining a healthy relationship with his roots in hip-hop, reggae, and drum’n’bass. He was involved in the setup and management of The Kazbah (Burning Man camp) and organized events in Northern California (San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento), Denver and Hawaii. Eye Self has performed at Burning Man, Pure Vision, CASTxOFF, and other events. Svar was resident at the infamous Mixed Munich Arts Club before it closed down. There he continuously developed his style of DJing characterized by a varied selection of different styles and moods, drifting and trippy soundscapes and always full of tension throughout. Together with his good friend Javier Bähr he also started Rohstoff, which functions as an ambient tape label and also a monthly radio show on Munich’s Radio80000. Svar moved to Berlin sometime in 2019 where he is planning further exciting musical projects. Stay tuned! This podcast is a recording of an opening set he played at legendary Tresor Club in 2019. An Allen & Heath Xone:92 Mixer, 2 Technics SL-1210 turntables and 3 CDJ-2000NXS2 were used that night. -- 003: Svar from Berlin, Germany Svar @ SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/svarofficial Svar @ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/svar.de Rohstoff @ SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/rohstoffrecords Rohstoff @ Bandcamp: https://rohstoffrecords.bandcamp.com

Seguono entusiasti festival all'estero come Dance Valley,Time Warp,Awakenings,I Love Techno,Sensation,Sonar ascoltando i vari set di artisti come Sven Vath,Stephan Bodzin,Chris Liebing,Robert Hood,Jeff Mills,Dixon,Ame,John Talbot,Nina Kraviz,Rebekah,Kriz,Oscar Mulero,Len Faki,Marco Carola,Tale of us e molti molti altri !!!
