I want more percentage, I need more percentage, etc. And he signs on the phone, that isn't how the event happened, but the event itself  did happen. So she told me Ray didn't have any money. He was out of money. There was no money in the till. There was no money in the company. So we made an agreement that I would keep working for him for no pay. And he would pay me in worthless worth less than zero company stock. And he would take the bill collectors and the bill collectors were calling me personally for money. He would take the phone calls. So I just asked her, I said, June, why did you do it? I said, I'm 16 years old and I'm a janitor. I work paycheck to paycheck. If I don't get my check on Friday, I'm not showing on Saturday. I need my check. Why did you work for nothing? I would never do that. And right then Wendy, she stared at me with this blank look on her face, eyeball to eyeball, and I realised she just left the room even though she's staring at me. And here I am, I'm 16 years old and I'm talking to June Martino, the icon. Everyone knew who she was in the area when I met her. As she's staring at me, I'm going because it seemed like 30 minutes was like maybe 15 seconds. But I realised I just asked her a question no one ever asked her before. Everyone wanted to know what happened, but no one wanted to know why. And I just asked her, why did you do it? And when she spoke it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, I still remember what she said, the way she said it. And my first thought right after she made the statement... Jordan Skopp is a realtor, philanthropist and life-time baseball fan from Brooklyn, New York. Jordan is leading the fight to enact legislation to eliminate the Baseball Rule, adopted decades ago by courts and a handful of state legislatures, which holds that fans injured by high-speed foul balls cannot receive compensation in court, no matter how badly they are hurt, so long as the home team has taken minimal steps to protect spectators. Conservative estimates are that 5,000 fans have been injured, many seriously, by foul balls in Major and Minor league ballparks since 2012. 'The Founder' tells the story of Ray Kroc, a businessman once described as a “Chamber of Commerce Gordon Gekko” by Matt Zoller Seitz. Played by Michael Keaton, Kroc sluggishly but deliberately breaks bad in an attempt to acquire the McDonalds fast-food chain, and take for himself a chunk of the American dream. Written by Robert Siegel, 'The Founder' has a similar underdog theme to his 2008 film, 'The Wrestler.'
