Every thought, word, and action that Jay had to face unresolved prepared him for who he is today. Jay believes that due to his innate curiosity and the knowledge that he was adopted catapulted his psyche into a far-off land of emotional distancing, rationalization, and externalization of his own emotions toward entrepreneurship. At a young age Jay was closed off, shutting others out, and always contemplating his entrepreneurial future. Returning guest Jay Doran and I dive deep into prejudice, our progress as humans, language, and more this week on Openly Outspoken!Ever since Jay Doran was a child his curiosity around culture emulated from the core of his being. Jay is a self-motivated being always obsessed with understanding himself and his place in the world. Discipline comes naturally to Jay as he believes that is where value comes from. Jay’s work is very meaningful and helps many people because he is not only a teacher but also a student and Jay knows that it will stay that way forever.Over the last decade after working from his entrepreneurial slumber where all of his focus was on building, earning, and yearning, he shifted gears. Jay’s focus then became wholeheartedly to find the answers to the questions he had surrounding what culture is, what listening is, what thinking is, what truth is, how people can align their beliefs, how a business maintains a value system, and what a business is. Today, Jay has the answers to those questions he has aggressively sought after and he believes he solves the necessary, inevitable, and valuable problems that arise in every business. Jay does this with immense gratitude, satisfaction, and responsibility; every day thus proving that Culture Matters. Richie’s passion for studying food medicine spans 20+ years. Starting in 1996, Richie stocked the shelves of his family’s health food store where he spent time studying the benefits of organic fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, mushrooms, and Probiotics. He listened to consumers and their families and the healthy goodness they were seeking. The interaction and trust that occurs while handing people products and looking them in the eyes is something he has carried with him throughout his journey to create clean, organic, plant-based gummy supplements and Probiotics.Richie then began education, sales, and product branding for innovative food-based companies who created organic products with fruits, spices, vegetables, and mushrooms in the plant-based vitamin supplements industry.Inspired while having lunch with his kindergarten son, Conner, in the early 2000s, Richie noticed a lack of fruits, vegetables, and spices in kids’ products. Richie and his family created the first kids and adult certified organic, plant-based gummy supplements with the USDA Organic Seal, European Union Seal, and non-GMO project verification. These delicious supplements were placed worldwide in top retailers such as Publix, Wegmans, and H-E-B, plus thousands of health food stores and households globally.Richie’s fun facts - He can ride a horse backward, wrestled in Mexico, and created the world’s first certified organic, non-GMO project verified organic gummy supplements for kids and adults.Learn more here: mcpeakmarket.comOpenly Outspoken with Jeremy Adams is a podcast for authentic discussions on current events, business, politics, science, and more with some of the world’s best and brightest thought leaders. This week on Openly Outspoken I sit down with Jay Doran, friend and CEO of Culture Matters. We talk through a wide range of topics, including what free speech and running a business have to do with each other, almost getting lost at sea, and maskers versus anti-maskers.Ever since Jay Doran was a child his curiosity around culture emulated from the core of his being. Jay is a self-motivated being always obsessed with understanding himself and his place in the world. Discipline comes naturally to Jay as he believes that is where value comes from. Jay’s work is very meaningful and helps many people because he is not only a teacher but also a student and Jay knows that it will stay that way forever. Over the last decade after working from his entrepreneurial slumber where all of his focus was on building, earning, and yearning, he shifted gears. His most recent mission is helping eCommerce, tech and digital business owners improve their financial fluency and operate their accounting back office as a profit center. After growing 3 – 8 - figure businesses with fast growth, many customers and low margin, Vinnie discovered the issue was that he lacked financial fluency and gave back much of his hard-earned money in cash waste and no margin. With no good solutions in the marketplace, Vinnie founded Fully Accountable, an outsourced full service cutting edge accounting firm, that helps eCommerce and Digital business owners through fractional CFO and accounting services. Vinnie has been awarded Digital Marketer of the Year multiple times and has been featured on many top-rated national podcasts and other media outlets such as Business Insider. He has also authored three best-selling books and has guided Fully Accountable to the Inc 5000 as one of the fastest growing companies in America twice, and ranked as one of the Top 5 Outsourced Accounting Firms by CFO Tech Outlook. In this episode Vinnie and I discuss successful leadership traits, mentorship, the process of receiving compliments, and why the lockdowns are complete bull shit.Openly Outspoken with Jeremy Adams is a podcast for authentic discussions on current events, business, politics, science, and more with some of the world’s best and brightest thought leaders.
