Ryan put together a piece that broke down a lot of the Steelers draft picks over the last 10 years. It wasn't just pointing out if the Steelers made a bad pick, but if they also passed on a good player that would have fit a void in real time. Was the Kenny Pickett selection as bad as we remember because others around him haven't panned out either? Ryan admitted that he liked Kendrick Green coming out of college and he turned into a terrible selection. What happened with Chase Claypool and how did he fail? We saw the introduction of Broderick Jones in Dallas yesterday after the Steelers sent him there via trade Saturday night in exchange for a 3rd and 6th round pick. The Steelers also sent a 4th rounder to the Cowboys. Jones didn't mince words – he said the Steelers screwed him up. Jones did a lot of moving around in his time here because the coaching staff pandered to Dan Moore time and time again. Is he right? The guys pointed out some recent Steelers that have gone elsewhere and thrived, to a degree. Names like Kevin Dotson and Devin Bush come to mind. That used to never be the case. Poni had a dog analogy to relate to the Steelers… but it never really did. Oh well. Former NFL QB Ben DiNucci from CBS Sports joined the show. Oregon State University will play its first game of the new college football season next Saturday. The Beavers will also be competing this year in an expanded Pac-12 Conference that features six other football teams joining OSU and Washington State University. Gonzaga is also now a member of Pac-12, competing in basketball and other sports.     The Pac-12’s new roster brings some relief for the future of the 110-year-old athletic conference. OSU and WSU were the only teams left in the Pac-12 after the 2023 football season following the departure of the Oregon Ducks, Washington Huskies and eight other teams for other conferences.     Fans will be able to see all of the Pac-12 football games this season on broadcast TV or via streaming under media distribution deals the conference secured with CBS, The CW, CBS Sports and USA Network.    Kevin Griffin is vice president and director of athletics at OSU. He joins us to talk about the new Pac-12 and the team’s prospects this season under new head football coach JaMarcus Shephard.
