We wanna hear from you! Send us a message here :) Alex Miller, The 6' 6” singer/songwriter from rural Lancaster, Kentucky is a natural fan favorite whose career has moved at warp speed. In addition to touring heavily throughout 2021, this talented newcomer was honored as the Texas Roadhouse Artist of the Month (October) and performed a duet with Grand Ole Opry star Rhonda Vincent at the Lee Greenwood All-Star Salute concert (November). By the beginning of 2022, Alex had entertained at multiple State Fairs (Kentucky, Missouri, New York, Washington, Wisconsin), and opened for Hank, Jr, Josh Turner, Lee Brice, and Shenandoah. His star continued to rise, and even more bookings rolled in with Miller opening for Brooks & Dunn, Jamey Johnson, King Calaway, and Aaron Watson in 2022. Additionally, he shared the stage with Diamond Rio and Sawyer Brown and debuted at the popular Wild Rose Casinos in Iowa.  By the end of 2023, Alex had appeared on bills with: Chris Janson, Chapel Hart, Drake Milligan, Noah Thompson, Dillon Carmichael, HunterGirl, Emily Ann Roberts and Tracy Byrd. Miller performed at State Fairs in Kentucky, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, and West Virginia, plus County Fairs in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Alex also partnered with CMR Nashville, Europe's #1 Country Music Radio Station, to host a curated monthly radio show called MILLER TIME - a fun, inside look at Miller's inventive mind. Closing out a spectacular year, he received the American FFA Degree for excellence, the organization's highest accolade.  Timmy McKeever, growing up in Huntingon, California McKeever started his musical journey at age nine after hearing his third grade teacher play worship songs after class. That intrigued young Timmy so much that he picked up a beginner guitar they had lying around the house and started playing around. From there it blossomed into writing music and playing shows. “My whole childhood I would play 2-3 shows during the weekend and go to school during the week. Write music after class. I just fell in love with it” he shares. McKeever got offered a development deal with Jim Cantino over at Droptine Records. McKeever just released his debut album “Devils and Angels”, and it's been getting good feedback. “Devils in Angels is an album that follows all the aspects of love from the beginning to the end and the aftermath. All the highs and lows and in betweens. It's very personal to me because the title track was the first song I ever wrote where I thought this is something really special to me.” He adds that he saved the song for the past two years because he wanted it as the title track of his debut project. Support the show

Our guests this week speak to living a life where they're seeing things they never thought possible come to fruition, and how faith factored into those events. From singing in small town church choirs to receiving the Golden Buzzer on America's Got Talent, country trio band Chapel Hart never thought they'd be where they are today, playing music for audiences all over the country and sharing their faith. Andy Partington, author of Hope in Addiction, grew up in a rehabilitation center where his parents worked. He discovered from a young age that recovery from addiction is possible no matter your story, and found his passion for helping addicts see there is hope in Christ for a better future.     Links, Products, and Resources Mentioned: Jesus Calling Podcast Jesus Calling Jesus Always Jesus Listens Past interview: Emily Chang Upcoming interview: Brett Young, Lathan Warlick, Tayla Lynn, Granger & Amber Smith, Travis Tritt, and Reba McEntire along with her sisters Susie and Alice   Chapel Hart America's Got Talent Simon Cowell  Glory Days Loretta Lynn  Dolly Parton    Andy Partington Novo Communities Yeldall Manor Hope in Addiction Interview Quotes: “It's been a joy for us to watch God bless people through our music and through our presence because we prayed before every show, ‘God just allow us to be the vessels, may nothing that we say be to glorify us, may all be to glorify You, but more than that, make people hear You through what we do and what we say.'” - Danica Hart “Every day won't be perfect, but we know that it's all a part of the journey, and that it makes the glory days what it is.” - Devynn Hart “You're in your glory days and because these are the times of your life, it doesn't exempt you from loss and grief and disappointment and heartbreak. All of those things still happen while you're in your glory days, and our faith has been instrumental in being on this journey.” - Danica Hart “Even in the things that you don't understand, trust that He's got your path laid out, that the path is there ,and everything you need for your journey is already inside of you, but you've just got to trust that He'll lead you there.” - Danica Hart “Really, addiction is this experience of losing the power to choose, and recovery is discovering again that that power to choose addiction lives on a continuum.” - Andy Partington “We live in an age of addiction. Let's talk about addiction. Let's think about addiction, and let's work together, really, to create communities where we have the depth of relationship with one another and the depth of relationship with God, where actually we have a recovery promoting, and an addiction-preventing environment for one another.” - Andy Partington  “When we're in addiction, it's not about pleasure…it's about the avoidance of pain. It's about getting away from something, not moving towards something else, and I think that helps us as we walk alongside those who are in addiction. It helps us to understand what's making them take, what's keeping them in the addiction.” - Andy Partington “We're not made to be alone. We're made to be together. At a societal level, if we want to ask ourselves why we are seeing so much addiction, those are the kinds of things we need to think about.” - Andy Partington “A relationship with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is absolutely transformative for our experience of life, as well as our eternal hope…whether you're in addiction or you're leaving addiction, God wants to hear from you. He wants to enjoy spending time with you.” - Andy Partington  ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel! Chapel Hart is made up of  sisters Danica Hart and Devynn Hart, and their cousin Trea Swindle. They are coming off an amazing run after placing in the Top 5 on America's Got Talent and making their Opry debut with glowing reviews. They talk about how they didn't want to do AGT at first but what it took to convince them to go to Los Angeles to compete on the show and how crazy it was once they got there. The group sits down to talk to Bobby about getting their start busking on the streets of New Orleans before getting their shot to play a real stage…which was actually at a gentlemen's club. They still live in New Orleans and share what it's like traveling back and forth to start writing with Nashville songwriters.  Follow the podcast: @TheBobbyCast Watch this Episode on YoutubeSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jeannie Seely, celebrated her 55th year anniversary of being a member of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, September 17th in grand style. During her 55-year membership, Jeannie Seely has never left the Opry or missed a year of performing on the coveted Opry stage. She has become known for the many firsts during her long-lasting and extensive career, including the honor of becoming the first artist from her home state of Pennsylvania to become an Opry member and one of her proudest accomplishments of being the first female to regularly host segments on the show. Along with Jack Greene, they were the first artists to record a live album at the Opry house. One of the most controversial was when she was the first to walk on stage wearing a mini-skirt which led to allowing other performers to wear what they chose to wear on the Opry stage and one of the most requested was the opportunity to introduce numerous up and coming artists for their debut performance, which she did again on Saturday with the introduction of Chapel Hart for their first Opry moment.  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/success-made-to-last-legends--4302039/support.

The story on how 1 tweet got him on stage at PPG Paints Arena during the Pittsburgh stop of New Kids On The Block's Mixtape Tour was amazing! As you watch, you'll see how and why he turned a NKOTB song into a country song!Since introducing himself in 2016, that Rust Belt work ethic has propelled him to unbelievable heights. He launched three successive projects on the iTunes Country Albums Chart with Remedy hitting #49, Shelter From The Storm reaching #25 and his latest, The Aftermath, reaching #2. The Aftermath also reached #11 on the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart. During 2019, Donnie Wahlberg even recruited Justin to take the stage at PPG Paints Arena during the Pittsburgh stop of New Kids On The Block's Mixtape Tour. Along the way, he also shared bills with Garry Allan, Randy Houser, and Craig Campbell in addition to packing headline shows. In the face of the Global Pandemic, he remained prolific throughout 2020. His Shelter From The Storm EP peaked in the Top 25 of the iTunes Top Country Albums Chart propelled by fan favorites such as “Somebody Like You,” which he co-wrote with GRAMMY® Award-winning legend Richard Marx. However, he only picked up the pace in 2021 with The Aftermath EP, threading together elements of country, rock, pop, and soul. Its lead single “Run” with Chapel Hart helped propel the EP to #2 on the iTunes Top Country Albums Chart.Next up, the new single "Dead in The Water" will be released July 8th.

When you compare the percentage of total spins between male and female country artist it's nowhere close to being balanced. There is nearly 10-to-1 Disparity between Men and Women at Country Radio, therefore when I have the chance to interview female artist, I will play nothing but female artist throughout the entire morning show”. 2021 has been an incredible year for Emily as she placed in the top three finalist again for Boswell Media's Mississippi Songwriter of the Year, was invited to to host a program for young inspired songwriters who were nominated by local school music programs at the Mississippi Arts & Entertainment Experience in June and was asked to tour with the 2020 Mississippi Songwriter of the Year winner Danika Hart and her group Chapel Hart. We chat about our Nashville trip TMU took. Nashville by storm! We had a blast in Nashville in mid November 2020. We visited the Country Music Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, saw the Oak Ridge Boys kick off their Christmas residency, and more. We fit it all into just two and a half jam-packed days. It was a thrill to host a week of episodes from Nashville Coffees, located across from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Resort. Our guests were Tim & Roxane Atwood, JD Shelburne, Chapel Hart (who also performed exclusively for us), Flo (who performed as well) and singer/songwriter Kent Blazy. In this chat, Matt and I recap the entire trip with our thoughts on the sights, emotional experiences, and fun stories -- including how we met famed fashion designer Manuel -- and more. We even went live on Instagram from Love Circle, which is a popular hotspot high above the city (and you can let your imagination figure out how it got its name). Check out our other Podcasts! Country music always played a part in The Beatles' story, more so than it probably gets credit for. Cavern and Hamburg sets featured covers of songs from the likes of Chet Atkins and Carl Perkins, while George's early lead style is massively influenced by them as well, all the way down to his choice of guitar. Ringo's love of country ends up with him doing a full on country album with studio giants in 1971 in Nashville, but before that, he dips his toes in the the country pool with his own songs and cover choices, like #200, "Act Naturally." Ringo's natural acting chops had come to the forefront in their first two films, so it made the most sense for him to be the one singing "they're gonna put the in the movies" on this Buck Owens tune. His persona carries the tune as well, leaning into the "aw shucks"ness naturally inherent in his voice, and for 4 guys who grew up as far away from "country" as possible, they do a fine job on this tune, which serves it's purpose well as the token Ringo vocal on "Help!". Joining us this week is Chapel Hart, a country band consisting of 2 sisters, Danica and Devyn, and their cousin Trea. Their single "Jesus & Alcohol" is currently working it's way up the CMT charts and at country radio, as they try finding safe and smart ways to continue touring and working as a band during cover. They were recently named Mississippi Songwriters of the Year, and we discuss learning about songwriting from the diversity of the radio and learning wordplay from John Lennon. We also touch on crossing over from country to rock and vice versa, keeping a thesaurus and a wrench in your purse, and how they got Z.Z. Top legend Billy Gibbons to appear in their music video. Find out all at about Chapel Hart at www.chapelhart.com, check them out on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
