Escucha Agricultura Profesional:https://open.spotify.com/show/2ZuOW2DhD7PK4SM33gtFWy?si=e33021063a114550--Créditos musicales:INTROMusic from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/kevin-graham/53License code: 62TIV9S8Q1XCM65WOUTROMusic from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ra/let-good-times-rollLicense code: KUSUTAITXDLYUTHQ--Fuentes consultadas:Ishiwatari, S. 1 februari 2021.Emma Hafkamp nam ontslag.
In this episode, Rolf Carriere shares his journey as a development economist who spent decades leading large-scale health and nutrition programs with UNICEF; to his remarkable discovery of EMDR, as he searched for scalable trauma interventions. We explore how he applied the lessons he learned in the Child Survival Revolution, to ways EMDR could help address the needs of the estimated 500 million people affected by trauma. In this insightful and thought provoking conversation, Rolf shares his vision for how task shifting and simplified trauma care can help address the global mental health crisis, especially in resource-limited settings.Rolf Carriere has led a distinguished career. He studied philosophy in the 1960s and has had a lifelong interest in spirituality. From 1971 till 2005, he worked in the UN system, mostly with UNICEF and the World Bank, in health and nutrition programs, including more than 10 years in India. Rolf's main interest has been in the design and the scaling up of programs in malnutrition control, selective primary health care, maternal mortality, elimination of child labour, trauma recovery and educational reform. In the mid 1970s, Rolf co-founded the International Council on the Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders to eliminate goiter and cretinism worldwide.Following his last UNICEF positions as country director in Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Indonesia, he established the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition in Geneva and served as its first executive director. Now in retirement, since 2005, he's been advising on a pro bono basis, civil society organisations like Nonviolent Peace Force and EMDR's humanitarian assistance program, now Trauma Aid.And in 2017 he founded the Global Initiative for Stress and Trauma Treatment (GIST-T) to promote the scaling up of simplified trauma treatment, carried out by trained and supervised paraprofessional workers in what he describes as 'task shifting'ResourcesDr Jenny Dwyer provides training in scalable EMDR group and early intervention protocols. Leanna Carriere and Dr. Timm Döbert are preparing to cycle 30,000 km from Alaska to Chile as part of their Wings of Survival project, following migratory birds and raising awareness about biodiversity and climate. We talk about how they fuel extreme endurance—like cycling 150 km a day and eating up to 10,000 calories—entirely on a vegan diet. We also dig into the environmental side: land use, why animal agriculture doesn't scale, and what real change could look like over the next decade. This conversation is part science, part storytelling, and part "wait…that's humanly possible?"

Ryan shares his experience with going deep on the tax side when it comes to all the hype you see on social media and helps sort out what is real and what is wishful thinking. With an erratic and fast business environment, finance teams are facing high pressure to process reports. The main challenge lies in how mid-market firms achieve digital transformation, not by abandoning familiar tools but by making them more effective. In this episode of the Don't Panic It's Just Data podcast, host Kevin Petrie, Vice President, Research and Head of Data Management Practice, BARC, speaks with Maeghan Carriere, Divisional Vice President, Software Sales NA, insightsoftware; and Nate Cook, Director of Product Marketing, insightsoftware. They discuss the importance of automation, the role of CFOs as strategic leaders, and, most importantly, how mid-market companies can leverage tools like Spreadsheet Server for digital transformation. The conversation also spotlights the need for finance professionals to upskill in AI and data analysis to remain competitive. All speakers agree that the key is in equipping finance professionals with direct, real-time access to their data in the environment they know and trust – Excel.CFOs as Strategic LeadersCook believes that the role of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and their team has changed massively. "We really expect them to look back only as it helps them find a path forward.”This new role requires finance teams to become effective data teams but how can they do that? A recent Gartner study found that 75 per cent of CFOs "said they own or co-own enterprise data and analytics at their organisations." Unfortunately, these teams "sometimes struggle to have access to the data that they need." The time wasted on tedious data entry and report generation is time lost for important analysis and strategic thinking."The short answer is Spreadsheet Server," Cook told Petrie, explaining that better decisions rely on better data, and Spreadsheet Server provides the latter. Also Watch: Struggling with ERP Data? How to Get Real-Time Reporting in ExcelExcel with AI Upskills Finance TeamsAutomating reporting doesn't just save time; it allows finance professionals to develop skills in areas like Excel, data analysis, and AI. Carriere points out that AI is an important tool that every professional needs to learn to use effectively."Once you understand how data flows and connects in real time, you're better positioned to use AI tools because you can quickly tell if the results make sense," she explains. The key message for IT decision-makers is clear, as per insightsoftware's divisional VP, "Stop fighting Excel and make it more powerful instead." By embracing the tool that finance teams prefer, organisations can achieve quicker results, faster adoption, and ultimately free their financial experts from manual tasks. Cook also notes, Spreadsheet Server is "one way to help remove a lot of that toil and refocus the time that your folks are spending on the more strategic parts of analysis and decision-making that can help drive your organisation forward."TakeawaysFinance teams are facing scaling pressures and resource constraints. The need for speed in decision-making is critical for finance leaders.Automation can save finance teams significant time and

On July 12, 1987, 18-year-old Vickie Carriere was spending time with her boyfriend. Vickie was eight and a half months pregnant and eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby boy. That day, the couple was at his family's fishing camp before starting the drive back to Vickie's home in Waggaman, Louisiana.According to her boyfriend, who was also the baby's father, they stopped at a local convenience store, just minutes from her home. He said he went inside to buy a soda for Vickie and chocolate milk for himself. When he returned to the car, Vickie and all of her belongings were gone. When she didn't come home that night, her parents were immediately alarmed. It wasn't like Vickie to disappear, especially so close to her due date. They feared for both their daughter and the grandson they were so ready to welcome. In the days that followed, those fears deepened. Vickie missed her baby shower, and then her due date came and went without a word. More than 38 years later, Vickie's family is still searching for answers, and for the baby boy she never got to hold.If you have any information about the disappearance of Vickie Carriere and her unborn son, please contact the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office at (504) 363-5500.If you have a missing loved one that you would like to have featured on the show, please fill out our case submission form.Follow The Vanished on social media at:FacebookInstagramTwitterPatreonSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
