We explore how he applied the lessons he learned in the Child Survival Revolution, to ways EMDR could help address the needs of the estimated 500 million people affected by trauma. In this insightful and thought provoking conversation, Rolf shares his vision for how task shifting and simplified trauma care can help address the global mental health crisis, especially in resource-limited settings.Rolf Carriere has led a distinguished career.He studied philosophy in the 1960s and has had a lifelong interest in spirituality. From 1971 till 2005, he worked in the UN system, mostly with UNICEF and the World Bank, in health and nutrition programs, including more than 10 years in India. La riforma costituzionale sulla separazione delle carriere dei magistrati tra requirenti e giudicanti prevede anche lo sdoppiamento del Consiglio superiore della Magistratura (CSM) e la “rivoluzione” del procedimento disciplinare, affidata all'Alta Corte Disciplinare e non più ad una sezione delCSM che praticamente non ha mai punito seriamente qualcuno.Cambieranno radicalmente le modalità di composizione dei due Consigli superiori. I membri “laici”, infatti, saranno sorteggiati da un elenco di professori ordinari in materie giuridiche e avvocati con oltre 15 anni di esercizio della professione eletti dal Parlamento in seduta comune; i “togati”, invece, saranno designati per sorteggio tra i magistrati giudicanti e tra i magistrati requirenti secondo quanto stabilirà una legge ordinaria.Con Roberto Bolzan spieghiamo perché questa riforma è estremamente urgente, ma non sufficiente per ristabilire lo Stato di Diritto in Italia. That day, the couple was at his family's fishing camp before starting the drive back to Vickie's home in Waggaman, Louisiana.According to her boyfriend, who was also the baby's father, they stopped at a local convenience store, just minutes from her home. He said he went inside to buy a soda for Vickie and chocolate milk for himself. When he returned to the car, Vickie and all of her belongings were gone.When she didn't come home that night, her parents were immediately alarmed. It wasn't like Vickie to disappear, especially so close to her due date. They feared for both their daughter and the grandson they were so ready to welcome. In the days that followed, those fears deepened. Vickie missed her baby shower, and then her due date came and went without a word.
