Being a leader is a tough job…and often comes with little support or training. Managers play essential roles in designing and instigating a better employee experience because they are on the front line interacting with employees daily. If we want our EXD initiatives to break through, we must create better support for our front line managers. That's why I love this conversation with Paul, my guest on today's podcast all the way from Canada, who has spent decades focusing on transformation and systems thinking. When asked about how to transform the leadership function, he digs right in with what has worked in the past and what the future of leadership training holds. We also jump into a discussion about government and how (when it is functioning properly) it is supposed to help remove bigger barriers so employees can get their work done. I appreciated his take on the often false perception of “loud leaders” getting work done forcibly vs. the quiet power of thoughtful, intentional leaders. Being a performative introvert, I can relate fully! Be sure to connect with Paul on his timely insights. You need a planner style that addresses your individual struggles and fits your current needs, which may change over time. Some people with Executive Dysfunction have a hard time with lots of extra bits to do every day, so if this is you, you might want to get a more free-form planner instead of one with lots of trackers and prompts built into the pages, making your planner feel like homework (which you then avoid.) Other people with ExD really love the hand-holding and being told exactly what is supposed to go in which spot, which means a planner with lots of extra blanks and prompts and questions will work great for you! If you're not sure which type you are, don't fret if you choose the wrong type at first! Leaving prompts unanswered is not a problem - cover it up with a sticker if you want. If you need prompts you don't have, look up some templates so you can write in your own for things like schedule, gratitude, or trackers. Developing your own planner style isn't something that is figured out ahead of time so you can stick with it forever. You guess, practice, iterate, practice again, evolve, and just keep going. Questions to ask first: 1. What size do you want? - bigger (A5 or up) gives more space, but more space can feel overwhelming - smaller is easier to carry anywhere - crucial when you're still learning not to forget your planner - small spaces serve as a practical limit to how much you can demand of yourself each day 2. Digital or analog (Or both)? - digital is always with you, but it can be harder to navigate or find things once you've forgotten them. There's also no natural limits to what you keep - analog is harder (still not impossible) to ignore because it exists physically. Bookmarks and tabs make it easy to find your spot, and you can flip through pages to remind yourself of things you didn't even remember writing down. - each has benefits, but many of the perceived strengths of digital are actually weaknesses. If you've been trying digital and just can't figure out why it won't work, give analog a shot even if you really don't think it's right for you 3. Dated or undated? - dated and laid out pages can be a huge convenience, or a huge guilt trip - undated means you have to write in the date, but there's no missed pages if you skip some days here or there 4. Would you benefit from a structured, hourly layout for each day? - I love an hourly layout as a way to work with time agnosia, because it provides a _visual_ representation of how much time you have until that afternoon appointment, or for how long an hour is  - it can also be overwhelming for some people and may tend toward empty space 5. Do you want a lot of prompts, trackers, and special lists to fill in each day, or something more free-form?

Wednesday September 15 2021, sundownThis morning we shall discuss the “Day of Atonement” or known as “Yom Kippur” [ Yom = the day, Kippur = ask for forgiveness].  Other words this is a special Feast in which you and I ask our Heavenly Father for all those sins which we may have over looked throughout the past year.Lev. 23:26-32 ; Hebrews 9:6-14, 7:22-27, 10:1; Lev. 16; Rev. 20:1-3; Exd. 28:33-35      Zech. 14:2-5, 12:9-11; Isa. 53It took place on the tenth day of the seventh month (Tishri), that is, symbolically, when the sacred or Sabbath of months had just attained its completeness. Nor must we overlook the position of that day relatively to the other festivals. The seventh or sabbatical month closed the festive cycle, the Feast of Tabernacles on the 15th of that month being the last in the year. But, as already stated, before that grand festival of harvesting and thanksgiving Israel must, as a nation, be reconciled unto Yahweh, for only a people at peace with Yahweh might rejoice before Him in the blessing with which He had crowned the year. And the import of the Day of Atonement, as preceding the Feast of Tabernacles, becomes only more striking, when we remember how that feast of harvesting prefigured the final ingathering of all nations. In connection with this point it may also be well to remember that the Jubilee Year was always proclaimed on the Day of Atonement (Lev. 25:9). Hebrews 9:6-148        signifying = “deloo” to make clear           way = literally “the way of the Holy [i.e. places]           made manifest = “phaneroo” to render apparent. This word is taken from the Greek word “fan-er-os”, meaning shinning. Now stay with me on this. The Greek word “fan-er-os” is taken from another Greek word, “fah-ee-no” which means “to lighten” or “shine”. This Greek word, “fah-ee-no” is taken from the Greek base word, “foce”, which mean to shine or make manifest. Quickly turn with me to the Gospel of John Chapter 1, beginning with verses 4-9.John 1:4     Allow me to show you something. In this Atonement we have learned that in order to atone blood has to be used. Look what John writes, “In Him was LIFE; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men”. What about this LIFE? Let's turn to Gen 9:4, “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.” Do you see this? The blood is the LIFE of us! Therefore can we read John 1:4, “in Him was BLOOD, and the BLOOD was the LIGHT of men?”  By His BLOOD, we are set free or atoned from the sins that we incur.In closing what does this mean to you and I?As we read last week on that Feast of Trumpets. We find in Rev. 11 those 2 witnesses, when they rose after those 3 ½ days. In verse 15 we read of that 7th trumpet being blown. From the time of that trumpet sound until that final cup of wrath is poured out, we have that opportunity to make atonement for our sins that took place during the tribulation period. Especially those that followed after that false messiah, thinking he was that true Messiah. What a sad sight, as some flee to the mountains praying for the rocks to fall on them, instead of making atonement.As we come into this Feast of Atonement, we need to search our hearts. Let's ask ourselves, how are we living for Yahshua Messiah? Do you know Yahshua Messiah as your personal Savior? Do you have that one on one relationship with Him?Join with me as we “Unravel the Words of Yahweh” on keeping the True day of Yahshua Messiah's Holy Day's!Have any questions? In this week's study, I pick up in verse 7 and finish up in verse 8 talking about “I AM”.Here are some of my notes from these verses. In verse 7, Eye = figure of speech, every person alive at this time. This reminds me of Mark 8:35, “After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”They = is John alluding to Zech 12:10? “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” In Chapter 8, verse 1, I go into detail about “I AM”I Am = this reminds me of Exd. 3:14; ‘And Elohim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.' John 8:23-24, ‘And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. And verse 58; ‘Yahshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.' Let's take a look at that Exd 14. I AM THAT I AM = “Ehyeh ‘haw-yah'  asher ‘ash-er' ehyeh ‘haw-yah'” the self existent and eternal Elohim; a declaration of the unity and spirituality of the Divine Nature, the exact opposite of all the forms of idolatry, human, animal and celestial, that prevailed everywhere else. "hâyâh” “haw-yaw'” “'ăsher” “ash-er'” "hâyâh” “haw-yaw'”hey = (man with arms raised) behold, reveal, window, breathYod = (arm and closed hand) work, throw, worshiphey = (man with arms raised) behold, reveal, window, breathAleph= (ox) strength, strong, power, leaderShin =(two front teeth) sharp, press, eat tworesh = (head of a Man)front, head, chief, first, top, beginningI AM = ‘ehyeh” I will be [speaking of Himself]            These verse remind of what Yahshua Messiah says in John 3:14-18Allow me to clear up some things before I begin. First of all you will hear me use the words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah instead of God and Jesus Christ. I found out through the years that the word God may not necessarily mean the same to everyone. For instance, in Freemasonry the number 1 requirement is that you believe in a God. Doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you believe in a God. I personally like to use these words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah. To me this puts me in a closer spiritual relationship with our Creator. I am not a so called Messianic Teacher! I come to realize that every time I inhale or exhale I am saying Yahweh. Try saying Yahweh and see if you are not inhaling and exhaling. After all we our created in His image! My intention is to take this study to a deep level. Deeper than most of you are used to! I am asking no one to agree with me; however I do ask that you check every detail that I present out for yourself. Don't end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.'But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.'Join me as we go Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, Unraveling the Words of Yahweh!Have any questions? Medicine, like it seems everything else, is undergoing an experiential transformation. The movement toward redefining healthcare in terms of patient experiences is not necessarily new. While it might not ebe new, it still is evolving. Not only our understanding of patient experiences, but the broadening out of that into provider experiences as well. As we have turned our attention to frontline heroes in healthcare, the question arises of to what extent does an emphasis on patient experience potentially negatively impact provider experience. To explore the question of healthcare experience, we welcome Dr. Justin Bright to the ExD studios. Dr. Bright is a real doctor, unlike Adam and me. He is an ER doctor at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, my hometown. I heard Justin speak at a Patient Experience online conference, and knew he had to be on ExD. He also is the Assistant Medical Director for Patient Experience at Henry Ford Emergency Medicine, and Co-Chair of the Physicians Council at the Beryl Institute. We talk about understanding provider perspectives in delivering patient experiences, comparing famous television doctors like Doc Martin versus Doc McStuffins, how to innovate in regulated spaces, whether patients are customers, and ER medicine in a pandemic.

Regardless of the label used, all accounts describe almost the exact same sequence of events: delirium with agitation (fear, panic, shouting, violence and hyperactivity), sudden cessation of struggle, respiratory arrest and death.

The Names and Titles of Jesus – Jesus the Lamb of God - Episode 105 This series of the names and titles of Jesus will give us a more in-depth understanding of Jesus Christ our Lord. This is 13th in the series. 1 Peter 1 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God   JESUS THE LAMB OF GOD   Passover Exd 12:7 'And they shall take [some] of the blood and put [it] on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Exd 12:46  In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. John 1:29 Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" . . . The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and [he] said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed… 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. (1:18–19 “Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed” 1 Cor. 5:7 Revelation 7 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes . . . They approach the eternal throne bold through the blood of the shed Lamb. . . . clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" (vv. 9–10).   Revelation 7 (NIV) These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have  washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’[a] nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b] ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]” Lev 23:33-34 Sukkot John 7 37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[c] 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. 40 On hearing his words, some of the people said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.” 41 Others said, “He is the Messiah.” Subscribe to the podcast: {Apple Podcasts}{Stitcher}{Google Play}{IHeartRadio}{YouTube}{Spotify}{CastBox}

The Names and Titles of Jesus -Jesus the Great I Am - Episode 91 This new series of the names and titles of Jesus will give us a more in-depth understanding of Jesus Christ our Lord. The following is an outline. Jesus – Name Above Every Name God 1. God (Elohim) is the plural of EL – “in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth” Genesis 1:1 2. God (Elohim) = A term describing essence 3. The name of GOD YHVH Exodus 3:15 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM”: and he said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” 9 Now, therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.   “It is to be God’s name forever, my memorial unto all generations” see Exodus 3:15-16 Exd 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless who takes His name in vain. Psa 72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and [men] shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. YHVH appears 6800 times in the Old Testament. But it’s not translated YHVH LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) GOD= YHVH   God= (Elohim)  EL = short Jehovah = YHVH Yahweh = YHVH YAH = YHVH Exd 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless who takes His name in vain. I AM = eternal Micah 5:2 states that Israel's Messiah would come from Bethlehem, and He is described as He "whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." This states not only His preexistence but the fact that He has existed from eternity. The term "from everlasting" is, according to A.R. Fausset, "the strongest assertion of infinite duration of which the Hebrew language is capable."1 The term is also used in Psalm 90:2. Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. In Isaiah 9:6, Israel's Messiah is described as the "everlasting Father" or, as it is better rendered, "Father of eternity". This also points to His existence from eternity past. John 5 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 39You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. YHVH YHVH LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) GOD= YHVH   God= (Elohim) EL = short Jehovah = YHVH Yahweh = YHVHYAH = YHVH Yahushua הוֹשׁוּﬠְי 1 The first element is YAH, which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of YHVH 2) The interesting word group that starts with YAH then the Hebrew verb (shua), meaning to be saved or delivered. Yahshua is the name Joshua is a compilation of two elements. Isa 26:3 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You], Because he trusts in You. Isa 26:4 Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength. Isa 12:2 Behold, God [is] my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, [is] my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ “ Yahushua הוֹשׁוּﬠְ י  I AM the I AM that saves Who am l? Exodus 3:15 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” Jehovah -Jireh (I AM Will Provide) Genesis 22:13,14 Jehovah -Raah (I AM My Shepherd) Psalm 23:1 Jehovah - Rapha (I AM That Heals) Exodus15:26 Jehovah - Nissi (I AM My Banner) Exodus 17:15 Jehovah - Shalom (I AM our Peace) Judges 6:24 Jehovah - tSidkenu (I AM our Righteousness) Jeremiah 23:6 Our Righteousness. Jer 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land. Jer 23:6 "In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD (I AM) our righteousness.' Yahshua 2 Corinthians 5:21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. We prosper by faith, faith can't operate without the knowledge of the will of God.We must also understand that God gives us the POWER to get wealth (the blessing) but He does not just give us the wealth. Even in rare cases where someone comes in and gives someone a large amount of money, etc, that person had to make the decision to do that, God did not force them. And, God did not rain that money down from heaven.God plans for us to prosper! Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.The bad plans come from the other place!John 10:10 (Amplified Bible)10The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).Ps 23 – He’s the Good Sheppard!!Next is tithing, obeying the Word. Tithes were for the work of the local congregation, the local church.16 Different Kinds Of Offerings:BurntLev 1:3-17; Psa 66:15SinLev 4:3-35; 6:25; 10:17TrespassLev 5:16-19; 6:6; 7:1PeaceLev 3:1-17; 7:11HeaveExd 29:27,28; 7:14; Num 15:19WaveExd 29:26; Lev 7:30MeatLev 2:1-16; Num 15:4DrinkGen 35:14; Exd 29:40; Num 15:5ThankLev 7:12; 22:29; Psa 50:14Free-willLev 23:38; Deu 16:10; 23:23IncenseExd 30:8; Mal 1:11; Luk 1:9First-fruitsExd 22:29; Deu 18:4TitheLev 27:30; Num 18:21; Deu 14:22GiftsExd 35:22; Num 7:2-88JealousyNum 5:15Personal, for redemptionExd 30:13,15Malachi 3Malachi was written after the rebuilding of the temple and Jerusalem. Some changes had been made, but the people were in sin. One of the things he was sent to reprove them about was their lack of tithes. It makes the case that tithing is of the heart. “If you’re not tithing, you’re just going through the motions.” Nehemiah 13:10-1310 I also realized that the portions for the Levites had not been given them; for each of the Levites and the singers who did the work had gone back to his field. 11 So I contended with the rulers, and said, “Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their place. 12 Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil to the storehouse. 13 And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouse Shelemiah the priest and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah; and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were considered faithful, and their task was to distribute to their brethren.Matthew 6:21 (New International Version)21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.Hebrews 7:5-95 And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; 6 but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7 Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. 8 Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. 9 Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak,2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.Corinthians 9:8 (Amplified Bible)8And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].It’s His plan to bless us, for us to be a blessing to the world, we just have to get with the plan! It’s ours, we must possess it!!Click here to go the the site where you can view the whole sermon outline, listen online, or download to your computer.
