Three years of Dancing with Dragons Podcast somehow flew by, and it has us thinking about the exact moments that turned Game of Thrones from “a show we tried once” into a world we never really left. We look back at how we found Westeros, what it felt like to fall into George R.R. Martin's universe for the first time, and why A Song of Ice and Fire still sparks better arguments than almost anything else on TV.Send us Fan MailSupport the showFollow Dancing with Dragons on Instagram Follow Tony on IG: Sirtone_Reviews Follow Minwa on IG: TheArabKhaleesihttps://dancingwithdragons.buzzsprout.comEmail us @DancewithDragons62@gmail.com

Goodness is treated very differently by George RR Martin than it is by Tolkien. This dichotomy is most apparent in the characters of Ned Stark and Aragorn. In this episode, Daniel will explore how that characteristic is destructive for one and life-giving for another. Luke and Daniel see the trend of modernism doing no favors for a vibrant view of scripture. Our goal is to widen the field of vision for modern people reading the Bible as we grapple with its ancient context, literary beauty, and symbolic underpinnings. You may have been taught to read texts with an eye for their literary and symbolic structures in English courses in high school and/or college, but rarely is this taught to seminary students or lay Christians alike when it comes to the Bible. We want to keep this eye for symbolism, repetition, and structure as we investigate the Biblical canon, linking it to modern and old examples that are extemporaneous yet connected to aid in giving the broader field of vision mentioned earlier. Come along with us on our journey to reread your bible for the first time. We hope that through the words of those who have come before us, we can give Western Christianity its imagination back.

She's brought before the High Septon. She admits to her infidelities, but denies the big ones: incest, treason, reicide, and deicide, all of which Osney Kettleblack implicated her in, under torture. He puts his faith in trial by combat to determine her guilt or innocence. She is finally allowed a visitor; her uncle Kevan Lannister. He's angry with her corruption of his son Lancel. And brings only bad news: Jaime has not returned, he was last seen cavorting the Riverlands with a woman believed to be Brienne of Tarth. The Tyrells and Tarlys have come to town to defend Queen Margaery, against whom the High Septon admits the case is weak. Kevan has assembled a whole new Small Council filled with nobody who cares for Cersei.Worst of all is the news that Myrcella has been wounded in Dorne. Cersei blames Tyrion.
