Reiner stellt die App GoodReader vor, mit der man Dateien Explorer-like auf dem Smartphone verwalten und zwischen Smartphone und PC verschieben bzw. kopieren kann. Zur Ergänzung des Podcasts: Um den GoodReader in Windows 10 als Netzlaufwerk einzubinden, öffnet den Explorer mit Windows-E und ruft das Menü mit alt auf. Wählt mit den Cursor-Tasten links rechts die Registerkarte Computer aus (sollte schon ausgewählt sein) und drückt Tab bis auf „Netzwerk verbinden“. Nach zwei Mal Enter steht ihr im Eingabefeld, das im Beitrag beschrieben wird.

Whole Foods who says their policy is that you have to use the plastic containers they provide. Yes, I know many of you can bring their own containers so not every store follows this policy.  I heard on a recent podcast that some people get those Whole Foods provided plastic containers once, fill in bulk section, bring items home, put into glass containers, wash out the plastic and re-use them next time (& Whole Foods cashier can't tell!) A little sneaky and not so above board? Perhaps. Turns out Neil has a lot to say about getting documents and other kinds of content off your Mac and on to your iOS devices with Goodreader and who woulda thunk it but Amazon has a free way to do it (sort of, but in that clunky corporate way) too. They also talk about setting up an Apple Airport Extreme or Time Capsule for some of these apps or remote access. Fun stuff and make sure you listen through to the very end for some real Diamond in the rough stuff.

Descubrimos las ventajas que conlleva poder almacenar en todo momento y lugar cualquier cosa que nos pueda interesar, tanto a través de una nota, una fotografía tomada en el momento e incluso una nota de voz. Además muchos de vosotros me habíais preguntado acerca de mi lector de PDF’s tanto para el Iphone como para el Ipad. Yo lo tengo claro, GoodReader es mi elección. Tiene dos versiones una gratuita y una de pago aunque, esta última, está al precio de 0,79€, lo que es una verdadera ganga para las funcionalidades que nos ofrece. Se pueden hacer muchas cosas con esta aplicación aunque hablamos de su faceta de almacenamiento y lectura de PDF’s. Espero que os guste. Un saludo.

Handig wanneer de inspiratie eens op is. De tweede tip van Jan is Gist, een webapp waarmee je Google Apps, blogs, email, Twitter, Facebook, e.d. kan samenbrengen om in één oogopslag alles te weten te komen (en bij te houden) over de mensen die voor jou of je organisatie het belangrijkste zijn. Marco stelt Diaspora voor, een project van een aantal studenten die een volledig open-source, transparante sociale community willen opstarten als reactie op de recente privacy-perikelen bij Facebook. Zijn tweede tip is wat lichter: Fruit Ninja, een spel voor de iPhone. Hai! Ja! Cindy gebruikt haar Tech45-tiptijd om even wat raad te vragen omtrent Evernote, de Android-app is blijkbaar nog niet helemaal wat het moet zijn... Zijn er alternatieven? Stefaan (fiere bezitter van een iPad) heeft het over GoodReader, een iPhone-iPad-applicatie waarmee je heel gemakkelijk bestaande documenten leesbaar kan maken op de iPad of de iPhone. Maarten is allesbehalve te spreken over Tynt (Neen, ze krijgen hier zelfs geen link!) een bedrijf dat zich de 'copy-paste company' noemt. Via een stukje Javascript voegen ze een 'read more'-link toe aan ieder stukje tekst dat je van een website kopieert en plakt. Zij beweren dat ze hiermee kunnen volgen wie welke tekst kopieert en waar deze gebruikt wordt, maar het is in de eerste plaats ontzettend vervelend voor de gebruiker die nu iedere keer de nutteloze 'read more'-link moet verwijderen.
