The decarbonization of the aviation industry will require huge amounts of investment.If we focus on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) alone, the amount of capex that will be required is staggering. Take Europe, for example, that will need over 100 new SAF production plants by 2030 if the aviation industry is to meet the EU's ambitious SAF adoption plans.No wonder, then, that some of the most prominent initiatives to channel fresh investment towards this field have come from inside the industry. The Sustainable Flight Fund, set up by United Airlines through its United Airlines Ventures investment arm, is the largest venture fund in the world dedicated specifically to SAF investment. Interestingly, it is not a single-company effort, since, to back this project, United has assembled a broad coalition of fellow investors from across the commercial aviation ecosystem, including some airlines that are its direct competitors.Mukul Hariharan, a former airline pilot turned venture capitalist, is the managing partner of United's Sustainable Flight Fund. Revisited the songs when making a Hariharan playlist and realized theyre very good. Decided to rewatch the movie and see how it is. It's a good action movie with emotions. Its entertaining. You never feel bored. Should have been a success.  Interesting Facts:  This is director Thirputahi Samy's next telugu movie after the super hit Ganesh with Venkatesh.  Tirupathi Samy Died In a Car Accident In Chennai In June 2001. Tirupathi Swamy, being a Journalist himself by profession has chosen a story that is based on a Journalist. He took Amitabh Bachchan's' Main Azad Hoon and Legend of Zorro movie as inspirations and wrote the story.  He must have approached Aswini Dutt after to make a movie and then they cast Nagarjuna as the hero and movie was launched. Vyjayanthi is known for making movies with high priodictwuon values with all the commercial elements and Azad is the same.  Casting they took Soundarya who dubbed for herself for the first time in Telugu for this film and then Shilpa Shetty who had done Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya and then Veedavadandi Babu starring Mohan Babu before this making it her 3rd Telugu film in her career. Her last one would be Bhalevadivi Basu.  Set evergreen villain Raghuvaran and remaining actors such as Prakash raj, Brahmanandhan, etc.  Filmed in Rajahmundry, Hyderabad, Pollachi mainly then songs in Switzerland.  Songs were released on Supreme Music audio label and it became a super hit. Since it was coming after Nuvvu Vasthavani huge hype for the movie and for Nagarjuna and finally it released and movie was declared above average or average I think.  Despite this movie ran for 50 days in 72 centers and 4 days in 100 centers. Movie also ran for 104 days in Sandhya 35MM and in Anakapalle Nagarjuna created a record: His three films ran for 100 days in a span of 6 months:  Nuvvu vasthavani - Raja theater  Ninne Premistha - Satyannarayana Azaad - Gopal krishna For singer Mahalakshkmi Iyer it was a breakthrough as she had sung just two songs in telugu before this in Okke Okkadu which was a dub and first straight movie was Ammo! Okato Tareekhu music by Vandemataram Srinivas.  Perhaps due to Nuvvu Vasthavani hype and then competition  from so many other movies.  List of movies released against it were Ninne Premistha 14th, Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdhary 15th, Vamsi on Oct 4th, Jayam Manaderaa on October 7th, and then Nuvve Kavali on October 13th which would go onto to become industry hit and highest grossing movie of 2000.  Nagarjuna had 3 releases as said before and one of them was actually in competition with this movie Ninne Premistha in a edition to Jayam Manadera which released a week later and almost became industry hit range movie and stopped.  For Soundarya she had 3 released in 3 weeks in Ninne Premistha Sept 14th, Azad 29th, and then Jayam Manadera October 7th.

Also filmed it lib Bangkok because it's the same island in the songs Malliswari title song, Adigi Adagaleka from Devasadu and 1 Nenokkadine scene Story is inspired from the movie Message in a Bottle which is actually a novel.  9848022338 number: A legal suit was filed by an individual who owns the phone number alleging that the makers of the film did not attain his permission to use the phone number in the film. He alleged that he received calls from people in the hopes of speaking to Nagarjuna, and that it had caused him "immense agony" Audio function of Shivamani 98480 22338 was held at VCC (Viceroy Convention Center) on the evening of 8th October 2003. Its been a lucky place for Puri Jagan as audio functions of his last two films Idiot and ANOTA were celebrated at the same venue. Nagarjuna is busy with the shooting of Kamashi banner film at Vizag now. Hence he sent His wife Amala and son Akhil to the function. They were accompanied by Chalasani Ramesh, bother-in-law and manager of Nagarjuna. The other guests who graced the occasion include Honerable Minister Ayyanna Patrudu and Mass star NTR. The heroines Asin and Rakshita are also missing as they are busy with their shoots. Akhil released the audio of Shivamani and gave the first copy to NTR. October 23rd, 2003 Sivamani movie released to much fanfare and the talk was average to above average. 2nd half was probably a big minus but circumstances and luck was in favor for the film and it became a hit at the box office collecting 12.5 crores share  It ran for 50 days in 106 centers and 100 days in 24 centers and Nagarjuna created another record with this movie.  Sangam Sharat Theater ran for 106 days He is the first hero and only hero to have 3 consecutive 50 lakh grossers in Vizag and 6/7 films during that time collected more than 50L in Vizag. They are: Santosham - 54,35,548 Manmadhudu - 61,65,392 Sivamani - 55,32,254 Nenunnanu  - 54,19,088 Mass - 50,21,199 Super - 25,91,212 SriRamaDasu - 72,64,808

In October I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Sweta Hariharan at the mad mystic tour in New York City. I have attempted a favourite song from Hindi film 'Taal' (1999) , written by Anand Bakshi with haunting music by A.R. Rahman. Sung in the film by Hariharan accompanied by Sukhvinder Singh, i have modified it for my simple amateur solo rendition accompanied by the electronic Tanpura. A favourite of mine, the song 's melody bears the stamp of Rahman, with its harmonious fusion of Indian semi-classical and Western musical styles. An intense love song, it has an undercurrent of spiritual soul-longing for the beloved.

On this week's The Sci-Files, your hosts, Chelsie and Danny interview Hariharan Ramakrishnan. Cisplatin is an incredibly powerful chemotherapy drug used to treat a variety of cancers. However, its side effects, such as kidney toxicity and painful neuropathy, may result in dose reduction or termination of treatment increasing patient mortality. Physicians must closely monitor the patient's kidney function during chemotherapy due to the high risk of kidney failure, and the patient's sensitivity, due to severe pain from peripheral neuropathy. Therefore, there is an urgent medical need for novel therapeutics that limit cisplatin's side effects. Adenosine receptors are involved in several kidney diseases and neuropathic pain pathophysiology. Hari hypothesizes that blocking adenosine receptors (AR) using Istradefylline, an FDA-approved AR antagonist will alleviate kidney toxicity and pain from cisplatin. He found that administering Istradefylline reduces both the pain hypersensitivity and kidney toxicity induced by cisplatin and the associated inflammation. Since the FDA already approves Istradefylline for treating Parkinson's disease, it can be quickly clinically applied to cancer therapy. In this episode of Founded and Funded, Managing Director Scott Jacobson is talking with CommerceIQ CEO Guru Hariharan. CommerceIQ is a retail e-commerce management platform that automates and unifies category analytics, retail media management, and sales and operations all under one roof. The company secured $115 million in funding in March and just made its first acquisition — e-fundamentals — to expand into digital shelf analytics. The acquisition actually brings the company around full circle in a sense. CommerceIQ was originally Boomerang Commerce, which was a dynamic pricing software for multi-brand retail companies to better compete with the likes of Amazon. But Guru realized that despite the quality of that software and the A+ team he'd pulled together, he was trying to grow a business in an F market. He ended up pivoting the entire company to what is now CommerceIQ, selling the Boomerang business to Lowe's. Scott and Guru dive into what went into navigating those turbulent times, what it takes to be a vertical SaaS company, and Guru's realization that he couldn't solve every problem as though it were a math problem.
