Walter Bodlander was a military intelligence officer for the US Army during WWII. He was born in Germany in 1920. As a Jew, he knew he had to flea Hitler's regime. He eventually made his way to the United States and volunteered to join the Army to fight the Nazis. Military Intelligence wanted to use his fluency in German to interrogate Nazi prisoners on the front lines. Walter was soon dispatched to England to join the D-Day invasion and the march into Germany. One aircraft dropped bombs near Ambrosetown, while the other attacked the tiny village of Campile a few miles further east. Three women, Mary Ellen Kent, Catherine Kent and Kathleen Hurley were killed. The bombing shattered the belief that Ireland's neutrality could protect it from the Second World War. It also ignited a debate that has lasted for decades: Was the attack intentional or were the pilots lost? While politicians attempted to reduce tensions, investigations by An Garda Síochána and Irish Military Intelligence reached disturbing conclusions. They believed Campile had been deliberately targeted by the Nazis. In this episode I explore what happened. ASOG focuses on investigating incidents and places of extreme strangeness from a multidisciplinary perspective. ASOG strives to balance the experiential nature of an occurrence with the data-driven collection of empirical information. They feel the experiencer is just as important as the experience and approach research from this perspective.He grew up in Atlanta, and while in high school, he was awarded the Eagle Scout award, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America. While a Scout, Trey earned the 50-Miler award three times for backpacking and paddling trips exceeding 50 consecutive miles. In 1982, he was awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious American Wilderness Leadership School in Jackson, Wyoming.In 1983, he graduated from Norcross High School just outside of Atlanta. He entered college at the University of West Georgia (UWG) and decided to major in psychology. UWG is home to a world-renowned psychology department and one of the few universities offering degrees with a humanistic and transpersonal focus. At the UWG psychology program, Trey had the opportunity to study with luminaries such as William Roll, Mike Arons, Don Rice, Chris Anstoos, and others.While studying at UWG, Trey was awarded a US Army scholarship while an ROTC cadet and was also inducted into two honor societies: Pi Gamma Mu and Omicron Delta Kappa. In 1987, Trey completed his bachelor's degree in psychology and also earned a minor in anthropology. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the US Army Reserves and branched into Military Intelligence.After college, Trey worked as a private investigator investigating insurance fraud and also attended the Army Intelligence Officers Basic Course at Ft Huachuca, AZ. In the spring of 1988, he was certified as an All-Source Intelligence Officer (35D). He was assigned to the 372nd Military Intelligence Detachment and later the 337th Tactical Exploitation Battalion. An injury ended Trey's military career; he is now a disabled veteran. He has been a member of the US Army Military Intelligence Corps since 1988.In 1989, Trey entered Federal Government service as a Security Specialist. During his federal career, he has received training and experience in various specialties, including intelligence analysis, WMD security, anti-terrorism, counterintelligence, emergency management, physical security, personal security, response to CBRNE incidents, incident command, operations security, information security, and many other areas. He retired from the Department of Defense in May of 2023 as a Supervisory Security Specialist in an Intelligence Community-designated position. He has also completed many courses in combat pistol and rifle gunfighting.In 2008-2009, Trey served a tour in Afghanistan as an Operations and Anti-terrorism officer. Trey is also an EMS First Responder, Combat Lifesaver, Rescue SCUBA Diver, certified Military Emergency Management Specialist, certified DoD security professional, and Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator. DETAILS EMERGE REGARDING TERROR ATTACK IN GURNEE, ILLINOIS.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events-Middle East: Yesterday Iranian forces seized two tanker vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. These vessels have not officially been named yet, however the footage provided by the IRGC-N indicates these were smaller, more-regional tankers carrying fuel to other locations around the region. Otherwise, on the diplomatic front, the talks between Iranian and American officials concluded today without much note, other than mainstream media sources claiming that the Iranians have refused to halt the enrichment of Uranium.Analyst Comment: The Iranians say this quite literally every time, and today was only the first day of negotiations. The positive news is that neither side flipped the table and walked away; all parties have further talks planned after today's meetings in Oman.Russia: Overnight, a high-ranking General was the victim of an attempted assassination in Moscow. The Kremlin states that Vladimir Alekseyev was shot several times by an unidentified assailant, at his apartment near a pizza restaurant in northwest Moscow. LTG Alekseyev is serving as the deputy chief of Military Intelligence for the Kremlin.France: This morning an attack involving explosives was carried out in Grenoble, after two assailants threw a hand grenade into a beauty salon near the downtown area. The suspects recorded a video of the attack, and provided a video confession as well, which linked the attack to Fenec38, an Algerian gang/criminal group.Analyst Comment: Details on this exact criminal group are hard to come by, at least in English-speaking publications, so it's possible that this is a smaller group trying to improve their standing in the web of criminal groups that now completely dominate the city of Grenoble.This attack also bears striking resemblance to another attack, carried out in the same manner, on a similar target, in the same city, using the same weapon. Back in February of last year, a hand grenade was tossed into a bar/lounge in Grenoble, near the old Olympic village. Concerning today's target (the beauty salon), it's not entirely clear as to why this target was chosen. However, as per the Google Maps listing for the site, some sort of home health company is also registered at this address.While no direct causal link can be established between the two incidents beyond the similarities already observed, it must be noted that these individuals are ruthless killers. In both cases, soft targets were chosen to inflict as much violence on innocent people as possible, with the attacker today throwing the hand grenade quite literally at the feet of a child in the salon. It is only by sheer miracle that the six people inside the salon only suffered minor wounds, and were not immediately killed outright. Instead, the shrapnel from the grenade missed every person in the salon, and none of the victims even required hospitalization, at least according to local media reports. Nevertheless, the attackers attempted to carry out the mass murder of innocent people, continuing what has become a trend throughout France, as ordinary street gangs and organized crime groups alike continue to wage war on the nation.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: In Illinois, more details have come to light regarding a vehicle ramming attack and stabbing incident that took place in Gurnee on Monday. The state will soon start competitive bidding on approximately 420 acres of forested land near Gaylord, Michigan, to clear space for a solar farm while generating revenue and advancing the state's long-term green energy targets, Notably, one study published by Harvard researchers found that clearing forests to replace with solar panel developments may actually lead to an overall increase in greenhouse gas emissions, and a paper published by Chinese researchers also reached similar conclusions. There are also oil and gas wellheads in other areas of the woods that remain forested, according to MLive. “This is pretty amazing. Michigan is not like California, it's not like the sun is always shining there,” Dan Kish, a senior research fellow at the Institute for Energy Research, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This is the theater of the absurd, and it's all driven by tax credits and giveaways from the federal and state government, and by mandates that the governor there has implemented.” Source: dailycaller.com The Stunning Statistical Fraud Behind The Global Warming Scare Global Warming: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration may have a boring name, but it has a very important job: It measures U.S. temperatures. Unfortunately, it seems to be a captive of the global warming religion. Its data are fraudulent What do we mean by fraudulent? How about this: NOAA has made repeated "adjustments" to its data, for the presumed scientific reason of making the data sets more accurate. Nothing wrong with that. Except, all their changes point to one thing — lowering previously measured temperatures to show cooler weather in the past, and raising more recent temperatures to show warming in the recent present. This creates a data illusion of ever-rising temperatures to match the increase in CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere since the mid-1800s, which global warming advocates say is a cause-and-effect relationship. The more CO2, the more warming. But the actual measured temperature record shows something different: There have been hot years and hot decades since the turn of the last century, and colder years and colder decades. But the overall measured temperature shows no clear trend over the last century, at least not one that suggests runaway warming. That is, until the NOAA's statisticians "adjust" the data. Using complex statistical models, they change the data to reflect not reality, but their underlying theories of global warming.
