I dated someone who was about to become a spiritual leader / teacher a decade ago and completely left the religion. I can't help but think their first love was God. He never been in a relationship and had said ‘I don't know how to love one person let alone more right now' when speaking of polyamory. He has a lot of shame and had a alot of sex outside intimacy. But with me, He was present, made so much effort when I fitted around his schedule. I started saying I miss him and expressed I liked him because I wasn't clear where this was going. after three months he ended the relationship - infuriating as his excuse was ‘I'm just not feeling what I'm supposed to be feeling at three months' (Rich for someone who dismisses And avoids talking of feelings) . I know I have rejection issues and I know where they come from. With that comes the danger to always hope and recognise potential. I have so much empathy for this person . It's not a question, so this isn't an answer. Perhaps I can give you a mapping of what appears to be going on, what unappears to be going on, and a line of flight which might help you in your becoming …. “Never been in a relationship” “I don't know how to love one person” It seems from the get go that this was someone who was communicating that they either couldn't give you a kind of relationship you wanted, or would find it very difficult. How do we do relationships with people who don't know how to do them? “With you he was present, made so much effort when you fitted around his schedule.” What were you pleased to notice about yourself in those days? Write them down? “I miss him and expressed I liked him because it wasn't clear where this was going” What if we say we like someone without it where being unclear about something is going is actually really good? Territorialisation - deterritorialisation - reterritorialisation. Little islands. Rhizomes that couldn't map onto each other. A non-relation rather than an emergence. “Rejection issues and I know where they come from.” I'm not sure I know what rejection issues are. An acute sense of pain from rejection, or a more chronic pain of rejection. Is it a fear of rejection or some kind of welcoming of them? Are the rejection issues ‘the thing about you' or do they do something? How do you know? Let's frame this as a best hope: what difference would it make if you didn't have rejection issues? What would you have or be or become instead? Knowings: first love was god. A lot of shame. Dismisses and avoids talk of feelings. With that comes the danger to always hope and recognise potential Or with that comes the possibilities of hope and recognising potential? What if the rejection issues gave you a certain power to act that, if you could act on it in a particular way, could be really helpful for you? I have so much empathy for this person What does that do? What if your empathy was another superpower which could be turned on the whole of the external world around you? What if that included you? A more than human perspective Refrains - how you might deterritorialise them. Changing tunes, rhythms, words. Best hopes not deficits. Abundance not scarcity. Possibilities not lack.

How do you make choices and then confirm that your decision is accurate for you? Do you go by a feeling? A belief? A knowing?A feeling may be something you simply experience, even out of conscious awareness, that leads you to a specific choice. Maybe you turn right when you hit a crossroads - not really considering but simply following where your feet move you.A belief is more passive. You usually believe something because others have shared a similar belief at some point. So you go along with the “crowd” thought. No real action. Being more passive.A knowing happens when you connect with your Spirit, with a Higher Power and know, with every fiber of your being which choice is best for you AND you take action to move further in that direction.When you meditate or state affirmations make certain to see the result and not “what you want” to create. They had the same spiritual realisations and they worked for the same goal; to bring the New Consciousness for mankind. Mother was a true Guru, and a Universal Guru in every way. Her teaching has something for everyone because she taught for human progress on all levels and in all parts of the human being. The clarity and simplicity of her expression communicates something to everyone who reads her books. Her inner work included changing those who came to her; both those who were able to meet her physically and those who could come only in their inner being. Her consciousness was active on the universal subtle planes of creation, and she worked to enlighten thought and life impulse on a universal scale for all of mankind.Mother established the Sri Aurobindo Ashram after November 24, 1926, when Sri Aurobindo retired to devote all his time to bringing the New Consciousness. She established the Ashram School in 1943, and taught the students French. From 1950 through 1958, in French, she taught them the highest, deepest, most complex spiritual and yogic philosophy and practice in a simple and easily understandable manner. She gave a realistic and practical view of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy and the practice of his Yoga. These classes were transcribed and published as “Mother's Questions and Answers”. The present series of Auroville Radio talks on Mother's Questions and Answers begins on the date of July 12, 1955, because it is the first date of the available sound recordings of Mother teaching the class. The original recording of Mother's class is part of the Radio Talk. It can be heard at the end of each talk. It is well worth listening to even of one does not understand French, because it imparts something of Mother's consciousness to the listener.

The Prophetic… A lot of things come to mind when you think of what the Prophetic represents or even what people think of when you begin to speak about these topics. Many think it is mystical and ethereal. Where others have thoughts on wide range  spectrums from the amazingly spectacular to the, oh my God never!!! Throughout the ages you see the prophetic used for abuse and I know many stories of prophetically gifted people being used and abused because of their gift! Even in movies like Ridick, you see prophetic type creatures being enslaved and used for the advancement of this evil empire. When the Prophetic is not weird and has really most recently gotten a bad rep in this last season. So hopefully we can bring some sanity back to this wonderful and precious Gift of Holy Spirit. As I am preparing this podcast, the verse in Revelation 19:10 came to my mind, first. “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” In this seminar we will major on the majors! Yes we will get into some nuances, specifics and different types of the prophetic, but we must know the major reason for the prophetic working in our lives and that is… to testify about Jesus. When even thinking about anything regarding the prophetic we must first understand that all prophetic flows must end at the feet of Jesus. All Prophets must be exalting the name of Jesus. If there is a Spirit of Prophecy in the house, it must give testimony of Jesus! When we mark or quantify the prophetic and relegate it unto it's own entity, we end up disempowering one of the most powerful tools in the Kingdoms arsenal! Jesus said that the Holy Spirit wasn't here to speak of Himself, but He was manifested to testify about Me! One of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit is The Gift of Prophecy and guess what this Gift is to testify of Jesus… Surprise!!! Intuition is often a gut feeling or a small quiet whisper in your head but what about the things we do without thought as if on 'auto pilot'? We explore the difference between intuition (a guiding thought) and knowings (action without thought) and how they play out in our lives.

I often wonder what the world would look like if, when in school, we had classes on "Compassion", "Healing", and "Surrender". Three elements I find to be common mysteries for many if not all of the people I have worked with on these practices. If we had just been taught the how behind these potent life management tools many of us could have avoided our rock bottoms, medications, disease, addiction and money spent on finding the answers we never found. If I was to design these classes my first words to the students would be the same year after year. "There is nothing to learn. You have all the answers already. Everything you will ever seek is within you now so sit back, take a breath and let's begin our return". And if I was to say what I believe our world would look like as a result of these classes, I would say that it would look a whole lot different than it does today. Less violence, conflict, and suffering. Knowing what I know about this world from a human and spiritual perspective, it begs the question, would we still need the world? What I mean by this is that the world we live within is a school. We have come here, by choice, to heal our hurts and make things right for our soul. This is the difference between someone who is waking up and someone who lives behind the veil of delusion. To believe that the violence, conflict, and suffering we see in the world today is here for anything less than our healing is to live within this delusion. Everything that comes to us, everything that passes through our awareness is there to assist us in moving towards our highest good. Through our highest good, we find our return. The place deep inside where all things rest in calm. Everyone's path is unique that is why comparison, a beloved activity of the ego, is senseless. The most important thing we can do is focus on ourselves and live our lives to their fullest expression. Our human selves don't know all the details of what's to come but sometimes we get glimpses. You know, those knowings that we're supposed to do something or follow a particular career path or reach out to another in need. Knowings are undeniable, they come from that deep resting space of the intuitive voice. The importance is found in following those knowings with a level of trust that is unshakeable. It is from here that our blueprints play out. For Mike Ergo, our guest today, his blueprint has been colored by the entire rainbow. The dark and the light. In fact, the darkest of his dark and absolute highest level of his light were found together in a moment of extreme danger. Mike reveals generously and open-heartedly his journey from Walnut Creek, California to the beacon of conflict in the Middle East to his post-war nosedive. This conversation has all the feels but it's Mike honesty that truly compels the beauty of his story. Mike is a dad, husband, Ironman triathlete and dedicated meditator among many other qualities that he brings to this world. We were connected with him through social media and further through our M21 Mindful Living Challenges in which he has shown up in as a strong voice of support for others.
