He was  introduced to gang culture and was battling addiction at a young age, He felt he was on a path to self destruction. Looking for a new path for his life. He served with the US military for over five years. This time ignited his passion for wellness, health and fitness. He had hopes of serving in special ops but was unexpectedly medically discharged feeling lost in life that went to children's to support explore his passions for physical fitness as a personal trainer, shortly after he suffered a traumatic and debilitating hand injury, which left him again feeling helpless and hopeless just a few years ago, in 2017, as he was contemplating taking his own life, a client invited him to a transformational healing training, which he considered divine intervention. So that turning point  brought him onto the path that he is on today as a devoted father, a leadership consultant, speaker, writer, Minister, and the founder of Neuintention. I invited Nathan onto this podcast a few weeks ago after seeing him post about his decision to go to Arkadia music festival while moving through deep grief about around the loss of his mom and while the world was on fire with the October 7th massacre happening just a couple weeks beforehand. Today we dive into questions around what the value of art and festival could possibly be at times of crisis? Where do our struggles with being able to tap to each productively these days root from? And what the hell can we do to build a better world together.  Links: Check out NeuIntention Follow Nathan on IG Learn more about the NASA Creativity Test

This man is an absolute savage!  I have a conversation with Nathan Kohlerman about his upbringing, experiences in a gang, his service in the military, overcoming a traumatic injury and rites of passage for young men (including fumbling with bra straps).  Nathan is a great dude doing important work.  After being introduced to gang culture and battling multiple addictions at a young age, Nathan was surely on a path of self-destruction that would only lead to death.  Nathan overcame significant adversities in his life, served in the military and has relentlessly dedicated himself to the path of healing, wellness, self-actualization, and transformation. After overcoming his adversities in life and healing himself using a wide range of clinical, spiritual, holistic, shamanic, and experiential methods, his life-long mission with his company, NeuIntention, is to educate, empower, and inspire others who feel lost to break free from life's limitations, reclaim the birthright of our sovereign nature, and become the purpose-driven humans and heart-led leaders who wish to leave legacies for our families and communities.Nathan Kohlerman is a Devoted Father, Transformational Alchemist, Spiritual Counselor, Integrative Somatic Practitioner, Corporate Wellness Consultant, Executive Leadership Mentor, Ordained Minister & Founder of NeuIntention®With a diverse background in transpersonal psychology, integrative somatic healing, metaphysical healing, mediumship, shamanism, energy dynamics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and trauma-informed care, this has allowed Nathan to facilitate and lead professional athletes from the NFL & PGA, soldiers in the US Army, men's groups, organizations, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and other elite coaches on how to overcome the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges that often result in unnecessary suffering that stands in the way of one's innate ability to create deeper connections to self, others, and a deeper sense of purpose.Connect With NathanNathan Kohlerman InstagramNate's WebsiteBuilding Men InstagramBuilding Men WebsiteBuilding Men YouTubeBuilding Men FacebookWork with Dennis as your 1 on 1 coach The Foundation Virtual Coaching Group for Young MenIf our podcast resonates with you, please consider rating, reviewing and sharing it with anyone who you believe would benefit from the message.Visit our sponsors - Chop Club For MenFinish The Race – Home of the official Building Men gear

Dawn welcomes the founder of New Intention Health and Wellness, Nathan Kohlerman to the show. Together they discuss his incredible journey from pain to purpose and how unlocking creativity and authentic expression has helped his evolution.  KEY TAKEAWAYS  ‘Creativity resides in the solar plexus'  Creativity lives in our expression, movement and emotions and in order for that energy to move up, it requires a level of creation and transmutation. We've in a society where we're told what to do, rather than just being able to creatively expand ourselves and explore and learn as we do as children.  The journey is never over and It's never complete if you have the willingness and an insatiable hunger to learn.  Real love is about creating a space for people to share and to shift away from bonding through trauma. It's about creating that safe and intentional space. The more we speak and share our trauma, the easier it is to overcome. Sharing negative past experiences means it loses its energetic pull and we stop holding it inside. Sharing makes us vulnerable but empowers us to learn.  BEST MOMENTS  “As I've seen the evolution I've been able to unlock more of my creativity and my authentic expression.” “It presents an opportunity for me to be a catalyst for her healing.” “Everything that I've ever made from running my own business has gone immediately back into training and for healing for myself.” “I'm now stepping into more of the metaphysical realm and into the transpersonal psychology realm.”  CONTACT METHOD https://www.instagram.com/theawakeningwithdawn dawn@theawakeningwithdawn.com ABOUT THE HOST Dawn Rishárd, M.A. With 20 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Systems, I empower people to release the past, open their hearts, and receive the love they desire. What makes a great leader?  It's in times like this, when the world seems to fall further and further into confusion and division, that we look to our leaders for the answers that we need. Throughout history, leadership in times of crisis has made legends out of sometimes relatively normal human beings who, in those moments, were willing to stand firm in their values and guide others to do so as well. But, in a world where the gray area between right and wrong continues to grow, what does it actually mean to be a leader?  This week I talk leadership, and masks, with Nathan Kohlerman. Nathan is an amazing human who is a health and wellness wizard, founder of NeuIntention, and advocate for sovereignty who has spoken his truth about the need for masks during this time, and comes from a place of strength when it comes to his own values and his why. At a time when good leadership is of the utmost importance, one thing I believe good leaders should be doing is opening up these subjects for conversation. Enjoy the episode.  Can I text you? These days we are conditioned to view the world through the lens of one individual, and that individual is universally accepted as being ourselves. In itself, this isn't necessarily a problem, but without the right frame of reference it can lead us down a very limited, narrow path. Reestablishing a connection with our true and divine selves is a massive undertaking, unpicking generations of mis-learned concepts and opening our minds to the full richness of the reality we exist in. It starts with you, with who you are and what you are capable of, but extends outwards in all directions, appreciating the majesty of the entire universe as ours to shape as we will. Nathan Kohlerman has spent years on a journey to find the true essence of self, to establish a new lineage of love and hope and sovereign power over his own choices, to help drive all of us towards a better tomorrow by building a better today. He wants us all to reconnect with the world around us, to feel the power of nature, to immerse ourselves in the experience of divinity, and channel that awesome energy towards positive transformation. He has been my friend, my brother, my teacher for many years, and I invite all of your to share in his wisdom with an open heart. Nathan Kohlerman is a Spiritual Counselor, Masculine Alchemy Mentor, Embodiment Coach, Ordained Minister, and founder of NeuIntention®. As a man in the 21st century, one of the main aspects of utility that Plant medicines & psychedelics have offered me in my journey is that of the all but missing rites of passage traditions that human beings have been a part of since the dawn of time. In ancient times as well as the modern day in certain cultures, these rites of passage acted as milestones, especially for men, in which they would leave their boyhood behind in place of the newly achieved manhood resulting from taking part in these rites of passage, many which included & still include plant medicines to this day. What this offered is, among many other things, a sense of “direction” as to what life truly was, how to integrate into new chapters of ones life & the celebration around the aging process & the wisdom that came along with it, rather than the misery surrounding aging that much of western societies have fallen into the trap of believing. Sharing his time & wisdom with us on the podcast today is a man who is doing his part in re-establishing these rites of passage for men in the way of men's work, which he does in both 1 on 1 containers as well as group format, such as in his collaborative work with the masculine alchemy & embodiment group Sacred Sons & is someone who has been able to have massive shifts & move through painful challenges in his life through the medicinal, intentional interactions he has had with plant medicines. This episode is going to be a deep dive into a lot of juicy subjects surrounding men's work, what psychedelics can offer us when connected with intentionally, what his biggest lessons he has learned through plant medicines have been & much, much more! This episode was produced by Mazel Tov Media in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Throughout the often times tumultuous journey of life, we are faced with challenges that allow us, if chosen to be felt, moved through & learned from, to rise to the occasion of our fullest potential as human beings. Even though these times can force us to find the calm within the metaphorical storm of our lives & can be challenging in endless different ways, these ARE the times that give us the highest highs & allow us to truly feel ALIVE while in this experience we call life. How we each move through our challenges gives us each the opportunity to act as the artist of our life, molding our own rituals, routines & methods to navigate these waters & reach land having danced & successfully navigated the storm by our resilient faith in ourselves, our destinies & the process of life as a whole. Today's guest on the show is a man who not only is an artist in the forms of movement, coaching, men's work & being able to navigate the waters of challenge, such as addiction, with grace & ease, but he is also someone who is deeply passionate & purpose driven regarding raising the collective consciousness of humanity & doing his part in being a guiding light for those individuals who, similar to ships in a storm, are looking for land & are in need of a guide to help lead them to shore to regroup & ensure they are ready for any other challenges the ocean of life gifts them in their journey of self discovery & self actualization. This episode was produced by Mazel Tov Media in Quincy, Massachusetts.

He has worked on the red carpet for movie premiers, including Transformers, White Rabbit, and the One Direction Movie as well as the BAFTAS, Erase MS, and the Golden Globes. Tommy also provided social media coverage for the convention circuit, including EyeCon and DragonCon. In addition, he writes for Addicted Magazine. Tommy's blog, Teeco71.com, highlights his interviews with celebrities, indie filmmakers and musicians, and the events he attends. Nathan Kohlerman: My modern day fitness journey really began in 2011, while I was stationed in Suwon, South Korea. After 2 years of consistently working out five to six days a week, I had decided I was going to pursue bodybuilding. During my 3 year journey in bodybuilding, I had competed in 6 shows altogether, achieving my Men's Beachbody Professional status with Global Bodybuilding Organization and reaching the national level as a heavyweight bodybuilder with the National Physique Committee. After 3 years of putting myself through the intense training, diet, and dehydration protocols, 6 back-to-back shows, and working my weight up to 253 pounds, I finally considered stepping away from bodybuilding because I remember my daughter coming to visit and I couldn't even sit on the ground to play with her. After seeing her defeated face, I knew something had to change. That very next day, on March 21, 2017, I leaned on a counter and in a split-second, it snapped – tearing 4 tendons and severing my radial artery and median nerve. When I got to the hospital and after running blood test, they had revealed to me that I had severe liver toxicity and an acute kidney injury because of the lifestyle and choices I had made to pursue bodybuilding. After my injury and receiving the horrific news of my health, I knew something had to change. After years of work and countless investments into my personal growth and continuing education, NeuIntention Health and Wellness was born with a mission to educate, empower, and inspire others to take their health into their own hands and to redefine human optimization through mind, body, and soul.LINKS: Tommy Nathan SOCIAL MEDIA: Tommy: Twitter Instagram LinkTree Facebook YouTube Clubhouse Nathan: Linktree Instagram Twitter Clubhouse
