For police officers, access to the right information at the right time is critical. Most operate in a sea of data from across public safety systems — radio dialogue, streaming video from fixed, mobile and body cameras, location data — but it can be hard to identify and analyze what's most important in the moment. New devices and applications of artificial intelligence are simplifying technology for officers and providing contextual and actionable information that's personalized for the time, person and place where decisions need to be made. They are further unifying sources of evidence for a more comprehensive timeline of events and more accurate reports. In this episode of the Policing Matters podcast, part of a special report from Motorola Solutions Summit 2025, host Jim Dudley sits down with James Felton, Manager of IT Services with the Peel Regional Police in Canada and Jason Hutchens, Area Sales Manager for Software at Motorola Solutions to discuss how the convergence of radio, video and AI can serve as a force multiplier, capturing and synthesizing a greater diversity of data throughout an incident for expedited emergency response and more accurate police reporting. Episode 313: Douglas Donald Moore, known in Meadowvale, Ontario,  as a drug supplier for young teens, gained notoriety in Mississauga for killing three young men before taking his own life in his jail cell while awaiting trial on 11 charges for sexual assaults on three boys. Peel Regional Police assert that Robert Grewal, 22, of Meadowvale, and Giuseppe (Joseph) Manchisi, 20, of Milton, who were close friends, were killed in 2003 by Moore. After Moore's death, he was named the prime suspect in the murders of Grewal and Manchisi. Additionally, police believe Moore was responsible for killing Rene Charlebois, 15, also of Meadowvale. All three victims disappeared in late 2003, and their bodies were discovered in spring 2004. Charlebois' remains were found in an Orangeville landfill, while Grewal and Manchisi's remains were located in wooded areas near Montreal. In 2005, Moore's former common-law wife and an unidentified 16-year-old were convicted of accessory to murder after the fact. The teen assisted in disposing of evidence, including driving with Moore to Quebec to bury the bodies of Grewal and Manchisi. Moore believed the two men had stolen drugs and cash from him, but it was later revealed that the 16-year-old was responsible for the robbery. The police have never disclosed the motive behind the killing of Rene Charlebois. Deploying BRRRR into your property deals is not a walk in the park, especially when you're new and getting yourself wet in the waters. Experimenting with what works and what doesn't would take most of your time, money, and effort. This doesn't work well when you want to maximize your profits. Besides, you also have your joint partners to consider who would benefit from your earnings. You either do things on your own, risk your limited resources or learn how to grow faster from someone who has successfully done the same thing. Adrian Pannozzo is a Retired Police Sgt from Peel Regional Police. He began investing in real estate 10 years ago and now owns over 50 + multifamily homes and over 200 units. He specializes in joint venture partnerships incorporating the BRRR strategy. We have our group of companies under one roof, who facilitate these incredible returns and help the success of our BRRRRs." - Adrian Pannozzo "We're just persistent. Ultimately, you can't force them [tenants] to leave, they have rights, obviously, under the landlord-tenant board. But it's just baby steps, and negotiation and helping them find a new place."- Adrian Pannozzo  "98% of the time, we keep it at 50/50. But there have been occasions where we've done bigger deals to modify the share structure, given the amount of capital required. We just want to be fair both ways. We tried to create that win-win scenario between ourselves and them." - Adrian Pannozzo "We have in-house property management and whatnot. My word is the 'Costco Effect' of having these companies under one roof. And our mindset was we wanted to appeal to those joint venture partners, investors that walk through the door, and there's everything under one roof."- Adrian Pannozzo Connect with Adrian Pannozzo: Website: http://www.investwithepc.com/ Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/more-to-life-real-estate-investing-podcast Connect with Dave Dubeau: Podcast: http://www.propertyprofitspodcast.com/ Website: https://davedubeau.com/home Investor Attraction Workshop: http://www.investorattractionworkshop.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedavedubeau LinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/davedubeau

In this episode, The Animal Files sits down and shares a wonderful conversation about all things animal with Mary Paulette McDonogh, world-renowned Intuitive and Animal Communicator.    About Mary Paulette: Mary Paulette, whom people call MP for short, is an intuitive and animal communicator based in Calgary, Alberta. Some people may also refer to this as being a pet psychic, animal psychic, animal medium, or even an animal or pet whisperer. Even though MP is based in Calgary, she works virtually with clients around the world. As an international animal communicator, pet psychic, animal psychic, and animal medium, MP takes great pride in her ability to create deeper connections and understanding between her clients and their pets. Working with an animal communicator is most often a game-changer for pet owners. You gain insight into their world that you just wouldn't get any other way, not to mention the harmony, peace, and ease it brings into your household. Elevating the lives of people and animals is the core foundation of everything she does. She is particularly passionate about helping animals and their owners with senior pets, chronic health conditions and end of life. She also specializes in anxiety, food issues, behavioural issues, house soiling, life changes (such as a move, divorce, marriage, children, etc) and many other topics. In each session, MP provides clients with practical recommendations that help contribute to increased joy and vitality in their pet's life from the newfound discoveries of their pet's world. Another significant benefit to animal communication is the peace and harmony that it can restore in your household. MP uses clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clairalience, clairgustance, and claircognizance methods to communicate with animals/pets, reptiles, fish, arachnids, amphibians, and birds. There hasn't been a living thing that she hasn't been able to connect to yet and she does this virtually and in person. MP also works with people too, they often end up booking a psychic reading session for themselves after they've had a reading session for their pets! Just like animals, she works with people to provide insight into their health, chronic health conditions, emotional well-being (stress, anxiety, depression, etc.) as well as connect them with loved ones that have passed. MP enjoys being a medium and have regular clients who book medium reading sessions with her. In addition to MP's psychic readings and animal communication sessions, she is also a level one certified practitioner in Bio-Energy Healing through the school of Michael D'Alton and a certified Emotion Code practitioner through Dr. Bradley Nelson. Depending on what is needed during a session, MP incorporates these techniques into her readings. People and animals are both equally quite receptive to this technique. As for the more traditional side of MP, she is a mother, partner, friend, confidante, and lover of life. For an intuitive, she has an interesting and extensive background based in law, management, and strategic analysis. In addition to her business, she also works for the Federal Government as a Project Manager and before that, she was a flight attendant with West Jet and a Police Officer for Peel Regional Police in Mississauga/Brampton, Ontario.   Where can you find her: Website => www.marypaulette.com Facebook => www.facebook.com/connectwithmarypaulette Instagram => www.instagram.com/mary_paulette_mcdonogh  -------------------------------------------------------- Be sure to follow The Animal Files online and on Facebook! www.theanimalfilespodcast.com www.facebook.com/theanimalfilesofficial   Have a topic you would like us to tackle? Adrian Pannozzo is a retired Police Sgt from Peel Regional Police. He began investing in real estate ten years ago and now owns over 50+ properties with over 200 rental units. He also specializes in joint venture partnerships incorporating the BRRR strategy. In this episode, Adrian shares his journey from being a police officer to jumping into real estate investing with both feet – in spite of not knowing very much about the industry. With his first property came along with it other investment deals and eventually joint partnerships. It brought good fortune not only for him but also for his investors.  Checkout: Raising Capital Without Rejection Full-Day Workshop (Online): https://investorattractionworkshop.com/ What you’ll learn in just 17 minutes from today’s episode: Learn how to go “all-in” even with very little (or no) previous real estate investing knowledge  Find out how Adrian brought joint venture partners onboard and gained their trust despite being new to the biz  And more…  Resources/Links: www.investwithepc.com  Topics Covered:  00:59 – How he shifted from the police service to real estate  02:00 – What made him decide to get into real estate after 21 years in police service  03:52 – Going all-in in real estate  05:12 – Number of properties he did on his own before working with joint partners  03:52 – Believing in the numbers, in the system, and jumping in with both feet  05:40 – Starting with turnkey properties and property management to finding its way to BRRRR strategy  08:24 – How did he start bringing in joint venture partners  10:01 – How does a joint venture work for him?  11:17 – Are they bringing in the capital for a per deal type?  12:14 – How does the split for the deal look like?  Key Takeaways:  “I guess my tolerance, and my risk level, potentially is a little bit different than other people’s, being a police officer and whatnot. Long story short, that kind of led me to the wonderful City of Hamilton where I bought my first rental property.” – Adrian Pannozzo  “Why Hamilton, it was really just centered around the numbers, like the return on investment and cash flow in Hamilton, superseded York Region where I was living.” – Adrian Pannozzo  “I guess just my personality, and I’m not the kind of guy to sit on the fence forever, I dive into it. And at the time, I didn’t really know Hamilton, the city at all more. I was wanting to jump into it and believe in the system, believe in the numbers, and knock on wood, it all worked out.”  – Adrian Pannozzo  “How did I bring joint venture partners on board? We started marketing ourselves. I got into business with Sandy. And he put me on the podcast. It resonated with people, I guess my background and my story of a retired police officer, full-time investor, and the wanting to get into business together. So, in 2017, when the market was on fire back then, things took off for joint venture partnering.”  – Adrian Pannozzo  “Joint venture is partnering up with an expert that can teach you and coach you, but also be your business partner, and buy properties together.”  – Adrian Pannozzo  “The joint partners they’re bringing the capital, and power team we have behind us to essentially deliver, I want to say, upwards of 95 plus percent ROI, incorporating our strategy with the BRRRR method.”  – Adrian Pannozzo  “Hands-Free, hassle-free, completely passive income for our investors. Many of them say I’d like to learn along the way because, potentially maybe I want to do it on my own. I tell most investors, absolutely you could; you can be a sponge and soak up as much information as you want.
