The ranch is a hub for peace, relaxation, enlightened moments, and optimised living. When covid hit, being in nature surrounded by animals made life easier for Jezey and her family. She believes reconnecting with nature could help people improve their mental health and wellbeing which led her to start the wellbeing clinic. Guests can connect with horses at her ranch. She says horses can teach us a lot about leadership and working as a team. Horses are known for their ability to work as a team.  The alpha relies on other horses to feed her information to make critical decisions for the herd. According to Jezey, this demonstrates true leadership where it is not about being a boss and dictating everything but rather trusting the wisdom of the team. As horses can sense disunity within a group,  it takes teamwork and a unified voice to command horses. Working with horses allows people to sharpen their ability to build a high performing team. For people living in the city, Jezey advises people to go to a park and take the time to consciously be in touch with nature.About your host: Lauren Karan, Director and Founder of Karan & Co. With over a decade of experience as a recruiter and development coach, Lauren Karan found that her priorities rapidly changed after the birth of her two children. It's essential to find true alignment in decision making when operating from ‘the We' perspective, whether it's intimate or business, to help us accomplish our goals, stay on track with our mission, and develop a deeper connection with each other. And, it's not always easy!In this episode, we discuss our agreement to put ‘the We' first when making decisions and work through an example of what we do when we aren't in agreement about how to move forward. There's an elevated level of autonomy when we're making decisions together. By operating in “the We,” there's space to discover freedom for the greater endeavor that we can create together. In short, with greater responsibility comes greater freedom, which is far from the typical ‘I' mindset. But, what happens when we're not in the same place around how to work towards our goals? We've been bumping up against the decision to share more about our intimate experiences on the show. We share what our process looks like to get into each other's world and work towards a decision that honors both of our needs. “I'm sorry, I can't be perfect.” ~ If you're a 90's baby, you definitely know this song's lyrics!   In today's episode of ‘Chats & Tatts' Podcast by Aaron Della Vedova, I am joined by Pierre Bouvier, the lead vocalist, frontman, and songwriter of the rock band, Simple Plan. In this episode we talk about tattoos. (of course), friendship, the changing music industry, getting his first record deal and how social media is changing the game.     Simple Plan started in 1999 as a Canadian rock band from Quebec. The band consists of Pierre Bouvier, lead vocals and studio bass guitar, together with Chuck Comeau as the drummer, Jeff Stinco as the lead guitar, and Sebastian Lefebvre as the rhythm guitar and backing vocals.   From the band's new millennium rise to MTV superstardom through a pop-punk modern resurgence, Simple Plan has a record of 10 million albums sold worldwide, record awards, 3.4 million videos online, and 23 years in the music industry.   Today, Pierre takes a look back and reflects on the band's journey of success. From being just a high schooler with the heart to write music who started a band with his friends to now, one of the most successful artists in the music industry.   As it's harder than it looks, find out how Pierre and his band, Simple Plan continue to share music with people with their 2023 lineup world tour! Also, get to know how Aaron and Pierre knew each other for a very long time as they share their tattoo, snow mobile and other experiences together. All this and more when you listen to this week's episode. I feel like it's just inevitable… it's always changing and now we're here. There are ways to capitalize on it, make it your own, and take advantage of the tools but it worked…. You just have to do everything. On my last episode I shared a conversation with Lauren Roxburgh who shared the benefits of tuning into our bodies and understanding how they work to help rid toxins, pain and dis-ease and to invite more flow and feeling good. Today I do a deep dive on how we can create healthy habits that support our mind, body and spirt. Learn how the fascia connective tissue is considered our sixth sense, or proprioception, where we are in space relationship to the earth, around people and with gravity. Stress is part of life and when necessary, can be a GOOD thing, because it taps in our body's natural responses of avoiding danger and things that can harm us. Yet, today more than ever we are overstimulated and our stress levels are out of control. The key is tapping into our abilities to respond to stress rather than react to it. When we respond, we maintain control - and when practiced we can access a cognitive state and choose how we respond to what's going on around us.Also give yourself grace, this is a practice. Ways we can tap into my mind body connection and have a healthier relationship with stress: journalling going for a walk or run with music that has no lyrics (I have a great mix on Spotify called Music for Mind, Body, Soul - follow me at Kay Cote) Ask your body how are you today, allow yourself to feel Practice Yoga Use a guided meditation like A Meditation for Intuitive Guidance by Mindful in Minutes with Kelly on Spotify Get in physical activity to strengthen your mind, body connection. Physical activity helps strengthen communication between your mind and body and gives you awareness of your body, how its moving, and what sensations are happening Check out Lauren's fitness and movement on her website, the alignedlifestudio.com where she offers a 7 day free trial. In episode 26 of Science & Chill, I interview Kevin Bass, who has been on my “to interview” list for quite some time, and we were able to finally make some time to record this episode. If you aren't familiar with Kevin, he is a scientist and also a truth-seeker, experimenter, expert, and social-media presence in the area of nutrition. Kevin has become low-key famous on Twitter and elsewhere for his rants about nutrition and his recently scrutinized “quack list” — topics that we discuss in this episode along with much more.   Relevant links: - TheDietWars.com - Follow Kevin on Twitter - Follow Kevin on TikTok - Follow Kevin on Instagram   Podcast links: - Claim your FREE LMNT sample pack - Become a supporter on Patreon - Donate to the podcast - Listen on Apple Podcasts - Listen on Spotify - Get your Science & Chill merch on BradyHolmer.com

Dov Gordon is a coach who helps consultants, coaches and experts get ideal clients. He is the founder and head coach of The Alchemist Entrepreneur, which works on the core concepts of your marketing message and systematic implementation.   On today’s episode, I sit down with Dov Gordon, a coach who helps consultants, coaches and experts land their ideal clients. We dive into precisely how you should be crafting your tagline or hooks that will allow you to get more clients. My big takeaway from today’s conversation is Dov’s three step process that he walks through with clients when he’s helping them develop their taglines and hooks.   In this broadcast, Dov and I talk about:   What led Dov to enter the consultant space How did Dov use the “live it to learn it” mentality In what ways did Dov use experiential learning without a college education What is the “path of mastery” and how it applies to a marketing funnel How to lead a customer through an experience  The importance of connecting with a master/mentor to save yourself time What is considered interesting content for an ideal customer/client How the ideal client is concerned with a problem that they have and don’t want, and a result they want and don’t have Why starting simple, such as assessing a general problem, engages further interest in the consultation In what ways can a consultant shift positions to attract higher end clients Why a consultant should ask themselves what problems they help solve and what results they can enable When you gain the trust of an ideal client, how do you effectively close   How to Connect with Dov:   dovgordon.net Dov’s gift for In The Trenches listeners   Get the Latest Broadcasts of In The Trenches on Your Favorite Podcast Platform:   Subscribe to In The Trenches on iTunes Listen to In The Trenches on Spotify Get your weekly dose of In The Trenches on Google Play   How You Can Support In The Trenches   Did you enjoy today's broadcast of In The Trenches?
