Terry shared a story about accidentally sending out baseball tickets to church members while his wife was using his phone, and another about receiving whole coffee beans from a food pantry and having to grind them himself. Keith mentioned an upcoming Audible special offering free months of service until July 31st, and briefly touched on Disney’s decision to ban certain consumer products from their parks. But now you don't have a breadboard as a mechanical substrate... which is why jepler and scott collaborated on this nifty swirly grid design. originally 3D printed, we decided to upgrade these to an 'aluminum PCB' - note there's no actual copper on here, its just the aluminum backing, and then black soldermask with silkscreen. each square is 0.6 inch x 0.6 inch and there's holes every 0.2 inches. with the various dots and dashes you can pretty much make anything on a 0.1" grid fit. here's our demo to test it out. the aluminum is easy to cut/drill/machine/bend if you need more customization. coming soon to the adafruit shop!
