Hour 2: Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joins the show. The Steelers are in first place in the AFC North, but it doesn't feel like it. Jacksonville had a bad loss to Houston. Are there issues? Yes, and not as bad as other teams. Jeff graded Matt Canada with a B to B+ on Sunday. The 3rd and 1 play where Pickett moved in the pocket plus the Calvin Austin deep shot were important. Jeff said Canada made ADJUSTMENTS. Players said after the game execution had been the issue previously. "I give [Pickett] probably about the same, maybe an A-. Najee had a purpose to the way he was running Sunday with passion and is aware of what's said about him. Jeff reads nothing into the Jordan Schultz report that Matt Canada is working closer with Kenny Pickett. They already work together every day. Jeff called the Pitt game Saturday! The Bengals honored Boomer Esiason and Chad Ochocinco on Monday but did not give them jerseys to wear when being honored Boomer wore a fan's jersey! Crowley doesn't believe the Matt Canada report that he's working closer with Pickett as new information. Hasn't that already been happening? If the report was true, then they weren't around each other enough. The QB and OC are ALWAYS together. Dorin thinks, statistically, Joey Porter Jr. is the Steelers best corner. Levi Wallace and Patrick Peterson played well against the Raiders after as slow start. The Steelers still let Davonte Adams go OFF against the secondary and was solid. Peterson graded around 80. Chuks isn't doing it for anyone and hasn't been good at right tackle. Dorin and Crowley would rather see Broderick Jones start at left tackle and Dan Moore at right instead of Joey Porter Jr. start. The Steelers need to focus on running the ball better. Former Steelers offensive lineman Trai Essex talked to Crowley and Dorin previously about the Steelers two running backs. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren narrowly split carries. We hear his comments on the state of the Steelers.

Everyone has their own perspective through which they view the world. But an integral part of science is questioning – questioning our assumptions and reflecting on how they may be impacted by the academic and medical systems within which we find ourselves. With this episode, we aim to do just that by learning about a different approach to health and wellness, one rooted in Indigenous knowledge. We spoke with Lee Maracle, Traditional Teacher at First Nations House about Indigenous perspectives on health. Next, Julie Bull, Research Methods Specialist at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health, Dr. Michael Anderson, physician and researcher at the Waakebiness-Bryce Institute for Indigenous Health, and Dr. Raglan Maddox, post-doctoral fellow and researcher at the Well Living House, all shared their experiences in conducting research in partnership with Indigenous communities. Finally, Drs. Lisa Richardson and Jason Pennington talk about their efforts as curricular co-leads of Indigenous Health Education in the Faculty of Medicine to improve Indigenous health education for the next generation of clinicians. We hope this episode prompts you to appreciate the multitude of ways of knowing the world and inspires you to disrupt cultures that do not allow for these ways to co-exist. Until next time, keep it raw!
