It's here. The best show of the year... the show about the best movies of the year... the show where Derick and I talk about our favorite films of the year. However you want to phrase it, it's finally arrived. For anyone that's never put together a show like this just know there are weeks, if not months, of prep involved. Then comes the actual recording of the show, which can have snaffu's and tech difficulty, but that's usually that's the easiest part. Then there's the post-production, which is a massive pain in the ass. This isn't a 'woe-is-me' statement, it's more to say that this project is and always has been a labor of much love, I very much look forward to doing it every year, and I hope y'all have as much fun listening to it. And, of course, much praise and gratitude must be given to my intrepid co-host Derick McDuff. He's an incredible friend, co-worker, and a thoughtful film aficionado, film buff... anything to not say the c-word. Check out all his stuff here.
