In this episode, Father Timothy Pavlatos shares his journey from Orthodox upbringing and academic pursuits in theology and psychology to his deep engagement with spiritual warfare, humility, and mental health. Our conversation explores the “Silent War”—the spiritual battle within the mind, the role of demons versus trauma, and how humility and prayer are essential in overcoming mental and spiritual struggles. We discuss the book “Saint Silouan the Athonite," touching on topics like fighting the evil within our hearts and not outside in the world, the withdrawal of grace from God, why it feels as though we are abandoned by God—how Adam must have felt in the Garden of Eden—and keeping thy mind in hell and despair not. We also discuss the profound opportunity suffering offers us to be sanctified for our salvation.Father Timothy Pavlatos is the pastor of St. Katherine Orthodox Church in Chandler, Arizona.Support the mission of St. Katherine Orthodox Church here: https://stkatherineaz.org/capital-campaignWatch Video on YouTubeWant more? What begins as healing can become something far darker. Kara Mosher joins Richard Syrett to expose her terrifying descent into psychedelics, spirit guides, astral projection, occult rituals, and entity contact — a journey she now believes opened the door to spiritual deception, psychological collapse, and a battle for human consciousness itself. GUEST: Kara Mosher is the author of Here Comes Trouble and a former psychic medium and occult practitioner who says years of involvement with psychedelics, spirit communication, astral projection, and New Age spirituality led her into profound psychological and spiritual darkness. Today, she speaks openly about spiritual deception, entity encounters, awakening culture, and her controversial decision to walk away from occult practices after becoming convinced she had encountered something deeply malevolent. She chased “healing” through mushrooms, moon rituals, and mediumship then saw Jesus while channeling a client. That one moment changed everything. Money showed up fast, love felt uncertain, and the noise in Kara Mosher's (https://www.instagram.com/herecomestroublexo) mind kept getting louder. We talk with Kara, author of Here Comes Trouble, about growing up in a family that went from motorhome living to million-dollar restaurant success, and how that same rise coincided with divorce, abandonment, and a deep inner instability she tried to outwork. From obsessive thoughts and depression to chasing approval through achievement, her story puts language to the hidden pain so many people carry behind “successful” lives.“Satanism rebranded” is how she describes the occult hiding in plain sight through trendy spirituality. From third-eye talk to Divine Liturgy, her path is intense. Jeremy Jeremiah of Cloud of Witnesses sits down with author and podcaster Kara Mosher to trace her path from sudden family wealth and deep emotional instability into drugs, occult spirituality, and years of psychiatric labels that never quite fit. We follow the turning points that lead her to renounce mediumship after encountering Jesus and to keep searching until she finds a home in Orthodox Christianity.• Hot 'n Now family origin story and how money changes a household• divorce, abandonment, and the start of obsessive compulsive thoughts• overachieving as distraction and a bid for attention• panic attacks, emergency care, and a New Age rehab introduction• marijuana and psychedelics escalating into spiritual experiences• occult practices, mediumship, and “Satanism rebranded”• psych ward intake, bipolar misdiagnosis, and years of heavy medication• antidepressant withdrawal, brain zaps, and a suicide attempt• COVID-era conspiracy rabbit holes and moon ceremony communities• a vision of Jesus, quitting divination, and learning the faith under pressure• losing a Christian community, then rebuilding through church history• encountering Divine Liturgy, catechumenate, and a hunger for communion• “Dosage” and “Wasted Youth” as music that reframes her pastFrom there, Kara walks us through marijuana, psychedelics, and the moment panic cracked everything open. Rehab didn't bring the grounding she needed, and she explains how New Age spirituality, yoga, meditation, and ritual practices became stepping stones into deeper occult involvement. She shares what it was like to experience spirits, to be pulled into mediumship and “enlightenment” culture, and then to be labeled bipolar in a psych ward within seconds. We also dig into years of medication changes, side effects, withdrawal, and how a late realization about misdiagnosis forced her to rethink both mental health treatment and spiritual reality. Then the story turns on a single, disruptive encounter: Kara sees Jesus while channeling for a client, quits divination, and starts trying to follow Christ with almost no support system. We talk about viral testimony, online backlash, conspiracy-heavy Christian spaces, and why church history eventually leads her to Orthodox Christianity and the shock of experiencing Divine Liturgy for the first time. We close with her music, including “Dosage” and “Wasted Youth,” and what it means to tell the truth even when it costs you friends.Your copy of Here Comes Trouble: https://www.amazon.com/Here-Comes-Trouble-Kara-Mosher/dp/B0F74PNH6S/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2E83J501THSPV&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.m_X-dOmOU-hA_ZoD6ow27v8xKMK6sgGvTjsaOWk6nlUJk-l_9z64XRQ-YELB844c.moplmsLa2-zYqV5cB_S6ycaz_qON5XtWLaguXnXCG8Q&dib_tag=se&keywords=here+comes+trouble+kara+mosher&qid=1779119461&sprefix=here+comes+trouble+kara+mosh%2Caps%2C208&sr=8-1Questions about Orthodoxy? Join Michaela Nikolaenko and me as we discuss how our view on spiritual warfare has changed. Michaela and I have a similar path; we are both ex-occultists and ex-Protestants and now newly Orthodox Christians. During our journey into the Orthodox faith, we both fell victim to misconceptions about spiritual warfare. As occultists, we both encountered demons. Not realizing what they truly were yet, we were tricked into believing they were our spiritual "friends," trying to utilize them on our path to healing. Once Christ came into our lives, like many new Christians, we fell into not only Protestantism but also charismatic teaching. This experience gave us a whole other deceptive view on what we initially believed spiritual warfare was. By God's grace, we both came to understand that what we had been taught about demons and spiritual warfare was not the truth, and we entered the Orthodox Church—the true church. Once there, we realized the true nature of spiritual warfare and that picking up your cross and following Christ meant an ongoing battle, but not with the eternal demons like we once believed—it was warfare within. A lifelong battle not just with demons, but against our passions and sin.Watch Video on YoutubeIf you enjoy this episode there is also a bonus chat where Michaela and I dive deeper into the topics discussed in this episode. I didn't grow up a Christian; in fact, I never even believed Jesus was real until 5 years ago, when I had a radical encounter with Jesus while I was knee-deep in the occult, working as a psychic medium.Watch the video on YouTubeI always believed in God; I just didn't know who he was, so I went searching in the psychedelic realm for him. I didn't like what I thought Christianity was, and since I didn't believe in Jesus, I automatically thought the Bible and Christians were fake too. Most of my life I dealt with mental instability, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and panic attacks. When I was 29 years old, I was misdiagnosed as bipolar. I tried everything to heal myself. It wasn't until I started following Christ that I started to actually change. I found out after 8 years of being told I was bipolar I'd been misdiagnosed...I was on 20 pills a day at that time. I got off pills during 2020, when the world was experiencing the insanity of COVID-19. As I got off pills, my mind came back alive, and I started questioning reality for the first time in almost a decade. But soon after I fell deeper into the occult. Until 2021, when I had my experience with Christ. This made my worst fear come true—I became a Christian. Something didn't sit right with me as a new Christian; there were so many denominations all believing something different. I'd been deceived so many times before I was scared I would be again, so I started questioning Christianity. All my questioning led me to the true church, the Orthodox church, where real healing begins.Join me as I share my story of not only why I became a Christian but also why I was baptized this past summer as an Orthodox Christian.Want more? Welcome back to the Let's be friends podcast. Back on the show, Father Peter Heers is here for part 2 of our chat about baptism. You may know Father Peter Heers from his popular online and YouTube account, Orthodox Ethos. Father Peter is a priest of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of the United States of America and assistant priest of the Holy Protection of the Mother of God Orthodox Church in Houston, TX. He is also the founder of Uncut Mountain Press. In this episode we discuss the unvarnished truth about Orthodox baptism and the overused practice of economia—what the church fathers truly teach and why modern departures threaten our salvation. When does a deviation undermine the very mysteries of the faith? And how does the historical patristic consensus challenge today's widespread laxity? In this compelling episode, Father Peter Heers unpacks the vital distinction between legitimate economia and dangerous innovations that distort the sacred mysteries. You'll learn how saints like Saint Basil and Canon 47 of St. Basil of the Council of Trullo uphold the necessity of proper reception for converts and how recent shortcuts risk undermining the divine grace bestowed through authentic sacraments. We break down the crucial criteria set by the church to distinguish temporary pastoral exceptions from systemic errors, emphasizing the importance of faithfulness to the Fathers' teachings. In the episode, we discuss Father Peter's book, The Reception of the Heterodox into the Orthodox Church, which offers clarity on complex issues such as improper reception, rebaptism, and the dangerous shift from canonical practice to ecumenical compromise. You'll discover why the practice of pouring water instead of immersion is not only heretical but also spiritually perilous, and how saints and councils historically handled such deviations.Join us to understand how the loss of proper baptism and adherence to the church's tradition risks opening the door to spiritual danger, including the influence of heresies and the rise of anti-Christian forces. Equip yourself with the knowledge to defend the divine mysteries with confidence, and help restore the sacred posture of the church in our tumultuous times.Watch video on YouTubeMake sure to listen to part 1: "The Hidden History of the Great Schism & It's Impact on Christian Unity Today"Want more? Welcome back to the Let's be friends podcast. With us today is Father Peter Heers. In this episode he unpacks why the ancient Church insisted on baptism, chrismation, and communion happening together—and what's at stake when modern churches split these sacraments apart. You'll discover how the divine energies and the patristic consensus affirm that initiation into Christ can only be fully realized within the Orthodox faith. His insights draw from centuries of tradition, ecumenical councils, and the unbroken apostolic link that defines true Christian unity. We break down the theological error of Protestant "baptism alone" and explore the dangerous drift caused by Western schisms, especially the Great Schism of 1054 and the Papacy's unilateral authority. Father Peter discusses the heresies that led to Christ's Church fracturing, the influence of the filioque, and how ecumenism is paving a way toward a false global unity—one that risks aligning with the Antichrist's heretical deception.Watch video on YouTubeMake sure to listen to part 2: "The Surprising Link Between Western Heresies and Orthodox Baptismal Practices"Want more? Welcome back to the Let's Be Friends podcast! With us today is guest Father Turbo Qualls. The allure of the occult has fascinated humankind for centuries, promising secret knowledge, power and healing. However, practicing the occult and New Age can lead to major psychological distress and spiritual turmoil. Join Father Turbo and me in a deep conversation about psychological/spiritual healing from an Orthodox perspective.Father Turbo is an Orthodox priest and the rector at St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a host of the Royal Path Podcast, an iconographer, and spiritual director for both the Convent of the Mother of God Seeker of the Lost, which is an urban monastic community, and the Mount Tabor School of Liberal Arts, which provides classical education that is rooted in Orthodox tradition. In our conversation Father Turbo and I also discuss how Gnosticism not only found its way into popular culture but also into the Protestant church and why we believe the Orthodox church is the only path that leads to full healing—the narrow path that Jesus Christ laid out. Father Turbo also dispels the Millennial Kingdom Heresy, also known as Chiliasm. We discuss the Christian/Antichrist Hegelian dialectic, the dangers of the rabbit hole, mind programming and occultists, why trusting the plan is a trap, and why we need to die to this world instead of hoping for a solution to fiscal problems that will never come.Watch this interview on Youtube!Find Father Turbo Qualls:InstagramYoutubeSt. Mary of Egypt Orthodox ChurchSynaxis of SophiaWant more? The magi came 600 miles or more to see the newborn king of the Jews. When they stopped for directions, they were told they were only six miles away, so of course they finished their trip. Why didn't any of the religious elite go with them? How can we avoid making that kind of mistake? Pastor Luke looks at Ephesians 3:1-12 in "Here Comes Trouble."

On this episode of the Let's Be Friends podcast, we are once again joined by frequent contributor and impromptu co-host, Nick Hinton. Recently, we discussed how psyops are being used to convince conspiracy theorists that we are in the apocalyptic last days of the Bible. However, these “prophecies” require no spiritual eyes to discern. Instead, they must be decoded using occult knowledge that truly makes people crazy. So, who's actually orchestrating these psyops? Why do they want to drive people crazy? Does this cultish cabal consider their insanity a religion they want the masses initiated into? This seems to be the case! And it becomes more obvious once you see how their religion is a combination of every esoteric belief system, which they seem to be normalizing through strange headlines and nonsensical world events.Want more? On today's episode of Let's Be Friends, our frequent guest and contributor Nick Hinton returns to take a second look at the fake apocalypse theory we discussed back in 2022. Since then, it seems some of the predictions we made have come to pass, including the false revival, the right-wing taking over the country, conspiracies going mainstream, and the arrival of an AI antichrist spirit that's influencing leaders like Donald Trump and Elon Musk.We also discuss other subjects from the previous series, like the false gospel of churchianity. However, we discuss it from our new orthodox perspective. It turns out the Holy Fathers already had a name for this! They called it moralism, which was the same sickness the Pharisees suffered from. It is the opposite of holiness, which is an internal transformation of the heart accomplished by God, rather than a superficial change of behavior accomplished by our own effort.Check out the Bonus Episode "Psyopocalypse B-Sides" with Nick and Kara on the Friendship Membership.Want more? Join me as I delve into what I confidently believe to be a profound mind-programming ritual. In this episode I discuss my theories surrounding the Charlie Kirk "assassination": Erik Kirk's involvement, the connection to child trafficking, fake Christians, the danger of biometric surveillance, predictive programming, Snake Eyes the movie symbolism, what a false flag is, George Floyd's connection, the role Israel is playing, the Killing of the King ritual, the symbolism of 33, the role of the Masonic system, the symbolism behind Charlie's memorial, the substitute king ritual, do demons use eclipses and full moons? The assassination of JFK, the CIA & Hollywood, the AI agenda behind the ritual, the story of Hiram Abiff, who is the hidden hand, how they create the problem (chaos) and offer the solution (order), the meaning behind the 47th proposition of Euclid, squaring the circle, and so much more!Want more? Welcome back to the Let's be friends podcast. Last week was a dark and heavy, emotional eclipse for us all. The world witnessed and mourned the death of the conservative king, Charlie Kirk.Ever since 2020 the world has not been the same; even five years later we all see there is no going back. In fact, we seem to be at some midway point, a turning point to 2030—Agenda 2030? Nothing seems natural about what we all witnessed of the Charlie Kirk assertion, and we want answers.Join me as I discuss my theories on what type of ritual the world is witnessing right in front of our eyes: The Killing of the King. In this episode I discuss: 33 symbolism and its deeper meaning, The substitute, King Ritual, do demons use eclipses and full moons? The assassination of JFK, The CIA & Hollywood, the AI agenda behind the ritual, 9/11 symbolism and its connection to this, the purpose of life and what it means to be a Christian, the story of Hiram Abiff, who is the hidden hand, and the symbolism syndrome surrounding this event, create the problem (chaos); offer the solution (order), the meaning behind the 47th proposition of Euclid, squaring the circle, the death of Kobe Bryant, and so much more!Want more? Welcome to the Harvest podcast. This weekend, we begin a brand-new series in the Book of James called True Religion. In the opening verses, James wastes no time—he goes straight to one of the hardest and most important parts of following Jesus: how we face trials. Pastor Jeff Bucknam opens God's Word in James 1:1–4 and reminds us that trouble will come, but trials are not meaningless. In God's hands, they shape our faith, strengthen our perseverance, and form us into the likeness of Christ. This message, Here Comes Trouble, will challenge you to think differently about suffering and to see how God is at work—even in the hardest moments of life. Let's listen in. On this episode of the Let's Be Friends podcast, we become enemies! I am joined again by frequent contributor and impromptu co-host Nick Hinton. And we definitely DO NOT talk about Christianity. Instead, we discuss the conspiracy theory that the Covid pandemic and the vaccine was actually a plot to inject people with an AI hive mind. We also discuss the original eastern and mystical meaning of symbolism, as well as the possibility that many of these psyops are symbolic themselves.Want more? Let's be friends. This week, Pearl E. Gates (aka Pearl Harbour) from Bay Area new wave faves Pearl Harbor & The Explosions gives us a glimpse of some of the artists of the era who had the biggest impact on her. Along the way, Pearl shares her fascinating story: a military brat growing up in Germany who makes her way to San Francisco with a plane ticket and $75, joins The Tubes as a backup singer and dancer, which led to joining Leila and the Snakes before spinning off to form Pearl Harbor & The Explosions. After the moderate success of their single "Drivin'" for indie label 415 Records, the band was signed to Warner Bros. Records for their self-titled debut album, released in January 1980. It's a dynamic record that mixes new wave energy with pop, R&B, rockabilly, and jazz. They shared stages with the likes of Talking Heads, The Police, The Clash, and The B-52's. Differences in opinion regarding the Explosions' musical direction led to Pearl departing for England, where she recorded her rootsy, rockin' 1980 solo album Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost Too, with a dream band including Wilko Johnson from Dr. Feelgood and members of the Blockheads and the Clash. In fact, in the '80s, Pearl was married to Clash bassist Paul Simonon. She also takes us through her rare mid-'80s album that never saw a U.S. release (Pearls Galore), her blazing '90s set Here Comes Trouble, and how her countrified return was sidelined by a lung cancer diagnosis. Now thankfully in remission, we are blessed to have this living icon of new wave history share her story. Oh, and in a head-turning twist, Uncle Gregg tackles the one question that nobody else has dared to ask! Liberation Hall has just released an expanded edition of Pearl Harbor & The Explosions on opaque sky-blue vinyl, CD and digital, containing bonus tracks and the original UK album cover design. https://pearlharbortheexplosions.bandcamp.com/album/pearl-harbor-the-explosions Special thanks to Randy Haecker from Prime Mover Media for the introduction and coordination! Welcome back to the Let's be friends podcast for a special episode; this one is not to be missed, unless of course you don't want to know what the purpose of life is. In this episode I discuss something very important that happened to me last week and how it took me 42 years to get to.We are all searching for something in this life, trying to fill that emptiness inside of us. Some of us have been traumatized; others are fighting addiction or deep loss. Whatever your afflictions have been, I want to share with you the real medicine to heal you. As many of you know, I have been through a lot of mental anguish, at times feeling as though I have been quite literally fighting demons for my life. Join me as I share the part of my testimony that explains the complex mental health journey I was on in my life. After being misdiagnosed as bipolar for 8 years and taking 30,000 pills I never needed, I finally found the healing I was really looking for.Grab some Kleenex and cozy up with a soft blanket; this one is a tearjerker. Come cry with me, let's heal together.Want more? Let's be friends. Join the Friendship Membership.Want to read my memoir, Here Comes Trouble? It's available now. Order your copy here.
I live in Austin, Texas, and last week we had a catastrophic flood. A rain bomb hit Austin, Texas, dumping 4 months of rain in 24 hours. Microbursts causing rain bombs are becoming more common, but why? Texas isn't the only place that has experienced strange weather or super heavy rains. We saw them last September in North Carolina, when a relentless downpour exceeded a year's worth of rain in just 24 hours. Triggering flash floods, impassable roads, and rescues. In this episode, we dive into what causes these extreme, new weather conditions. Join me as I talk about HAARP, cloud seeding, weather conspiracy, frequency manipulation, Operation Popeye, Rainmaker, Peter Thiel as the new Bill Gates, how to make it rain, the role of AI and drones, NOAA West Texas weather manipulation projects, bird migration maps, brain fog and mind programming, and the ultimate prison that you can't seem to escape from because the enemy is invisible.Want more? Welcome back to the Let's Be Friends podcast! This podcast started in 2021 during a time of tension in the world to provide a place for friends to get together and talk about anything and everything. Through time the topics and conversations on the show have evolved. I have gone from discussing the occult, exposing the New Age, and diving deep into the bottom of the rabbit hole to following the Jesus “freak”—quincy—”to eventually finding sanity and becoming an Orthodox Christian. In today's episode I go back to the roots of the show and have a candid heart-to-heart chat with you. Follow me as I discuss the past year, what I have been through, and where my mind is now. Welcome back to the Let's be friends podcast! Back on the show is contributor urfavwretch, also known as Lala and the host of the Balanced Banter Podcast.Join us as we discuss how we have both been on a similar journey the past few years, having both left the New Age behind in 2021 after finding Christ and then both entering Protestant churches, until… we found the Orthodox church. We also have an unfiltered conversation about dispensationalism and how it sparked futurism, a Christian eschatological view that interprets portions of the Book of Revelation and other apocalyptic sections of the Bible as future "end-time" events. We discuss other fruits of the dispensationalist movement, like its literal interpretation of the Bible, particularly in relation to Old Testament prophecies and God's promises to Israel. We also talk about who created the pre-tribulation rapture and why it won't be happening. Want more Let's be friends? Join the Friendship MembershipWant to read my memoir Here Comes Trouble? Kara Mosher is our guest this week, and we are discussing her wild journeys that ultimately led her to the Orthodox Church. Her new book, "Here Comes Trouble", is a very good read filled with interesting stories, some of which we cover in this episode. Kara was deep into the occult as well as being a psychic medium. Once she discovered the reality of Christ, she turned to Christianity. This took her through Protestantism and finally to the Orthodox Church. In this episode of the Let's Be Friends podcast, I share four words that recently changed my life: “May it be blessed”.With all the chaos surrounding us in the world today, I thought I would share something that has positively shifted my life. The concept is from a book of transcribed homilies by Elder Symeon on saying the prayer "May it be blessed" as a means to advance in the spiritual life and subject one's will to God. It is considered more powerful than even the Jesus Prayer.I also share another new phenomenon I discovered, crickets and their hidden heavenly song. Other topics discussed in the episode: election 2024, spiritual nous, Jesus Praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, theoria, the vision of God, The Jesus Prayer, suffering as a blessing, theosis, passions, and how to find peace in this world.Want more? Life can be hard sometimes. It's inevitable. But how a Christian views trials and difficulties says more about their trust in God than anything else. As we start our new series “Here Comes Trouble,” we dive into the book of James to see how we can change our perspective on pain.
In this episode of the Let's Be Friends podcast we have frequent guest and contributor Nick Hinton on to discuss the literal theatre of politics and how to find sanity in an insane world through the wisdom of the Orthodox Saints.Building off of previous discussions in last year's Fake Apocalypse series, we expand on concepts like Futurist end times interpretations, hyperreal psyops, weaponized schizophrenia, and false enlightenment, which seem to have become much more relevant recently. To better understand these things, we also introduce new ideas like the spiritual organ called the nous, how to open it, what happens when it's opened prematurely, and the technological sorcery that's causing this to occur inside the hearts of the increasingly mad masses.Want more? In this episode, I discuss the longest con ever created, the original ritual. A con—spiracy that was started thousands of years ago by the 33% who fell from God, the fallen angels.Join me as I discuss the history of the world and how many major events, patterns, networks, and tactics all tie together exposing what seems to be a ritual to rebirth Babalon, the same thing the fallen angels have been trying since the dawn of time. In it, I discuss Egypt and the origin of mind control, Penecost and the creation of the first church, the Great Shism of 1054 and the Protestant Reformation and how this resulted in curropting the first church, the danger of divination, and how channelers like John Dee, Aleister Crowley, and even the ancient Egyptians have used it to help create the long con ritual we see playing out today. Pope Gregory XIII created the eggregore of the devil as Pan and the Gregorian calendar, the creation of Luciferianism, Discordians, and the counterculture movement of the 1960s. How the Illuminati was formed, the corruption of the King James Bible, Sir Francis Bacon and John Dee: the Original 007, The Royal Academy, Futurism and the Fake Apocalypse, the False Rapture Doctrine, Proba-3 mission creating solar eclipse events on demand, Osiris Rising Rituals, X symbolism, and the April 8th eclipse, as I know it, are called a Choronzon Ritual.Want more? Welcome back to the let's be friends podcast for a special holiday episode all about Santa. There are many tales behind Santa, but the tallest may be the big fat lie. The lie that Santa lives on the North pole and flies around the world on Christmas Eve delivering presents to a billion children. Santa magically enters homes through the chimney, after blasting through the night riding in a sleigh pulled by eight flying reindeer in the sky. Santa is the "big fat lie" that fractures our minds at the most pivotal time, our youth. In this episode I discuss the history of Santa Claus and how he is connected to the real Saint Nick. I take a look into how Santa became a normal part of our festive holiday culture, a perfectly placed distraction from what should be celebrated this day, the birth of Jesus Christ. I also discuss popular Christmas traditions like trees & mistletoe and conspiracies about the amanita muscaria, or is December 25th really Nimrod's birthday, and is Santa just Satan? The full episode is available with The Friendship Membership, sign up at www.letsbefriendspodcast.comPreorder my memoir Here Comes Trouble at www.KaraMosher.com
