Episode Title: "Wellness in the Production Studio with Dr Matt Chalmers"About Dr. Matt Chalmers and Chalmers WellnessWho Is Chalmers Wellness?Chalmers Wellness is a full service rehabilitation and recovery facility. We offer a very wide variety of care from stem cell injections, chiropractic, physical therapy, to eastern medicine nutritional testing. Over the last decade we have spent time developing relationships with some of the top surgical facilities and surgeons in the DFW metroplex. Chalmers Wellness has been fortunate to be the center for care for so many professional athletes as well as so many medical professionals and their families. Our Recovery ProcessWhile Chalmers Wellness is well known for rehabilitation, we pride ourselves in recovery. The recovery is where we help keep athletes from getting injured and ensure that our athletes get bigger, stronger, and faster. Whether it is training, nutrition, or state of the art therapies development of an athlete is just as important, if not more important, as taking care of them once they are injured. Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Chalmers Wellness emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our wellness center. Our Rediscover Your Health & WellnessFor some, Chalmers Wellness will take them back to a place that is cozy and familiar, offering a rediscovery of health and wellness that had been previously known but long lost. For others, the journey may offer a new center, one never before experienced. People are recognizing the benefit of seeking an alternative to traditional medicine; one that will help them achieve and maintain optimal health. Please take the time to meet the doctor, team, and our wellness network dedicated to helping you achieve your wellness objectives. To fully understand the nature of your health we recommend you join our free website membership program. As a patient at Chalmers Wellness, we will personally tailor a wellness program specifically targeted to your wellness needs using the least invasive yet highly-effective techniques and services.Chalmers Wellness also works hard to be a one-stop shop with the most training and expertise available. Dr. Chalmers is a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Neurologist and is also one of only a few doctors certified to perform Spinal Decompression in Texas. While there is no law that mandates a doctor be certified or have extra training to perform Spinal Decompression for disc herniations and bulges Chalmers Wellness is dedicated to the safety and well being of the people that trust their spines to us so taking the time to get the education is standard practice for us. Chalmers Wellness also works closely with several of Frisco’s best surgeons and healthcare professionals, for this reason, we can always offer the best care even if that care is a referral.More InformationCheck out Chalmers Wellness at https://chalmerswellness.comThanks for Tuning In!Thanks so much for being with us this week. In this episode, Stu Grubbs and chats with us on his influences, as well as on finding connection during quarantine.About Stu's Company, Lightstream:Our vision is to empower more storytellers and grow the communities in which they tell them.We BelieveLive streaming shouldn’t require weeks of research, YouTube videos, setup, and frustration. We want to fix that.We believe that everyone has a story to tell. Our mission is to empower anyone with no experience or expensive hardware to share themselves, their adventure, their brand, or their story with a live audience. To build a live video production suite that is simple enough for anyone to get started, yet powerful enough to truly wow your audience. We are building a complete evolution of what live video production should be: simple, powerful, and collaborative. But most of all, it should be fun. There is simply nothing else like us and we are excited to share it with you.Who We Are:Lightstream is a small, but growing team of gaming, esports, and video industry veterans. Members of our team have contributed to the success of brands like SteelSeries, Machinima, Open Broadcasting Software, Major League Gaming, ESL, Beyond Gaming, and even old school brands like GotFrag & World Cyber Games. Yes, some of us are that old.Without a doubt, these are some of the smartest people we have had the pleasure of working with. He’d watch TV or listen to the radio, waiting for the commercials because to him, marketing and sales were the real entertainment. Despite his young age, Russell opted in to every business opportunity offer he could find, simply to study the art and science of direct response. In high school Russell was a state champion wrestler, and then became All-American his senior year taking 2nd place in the country at high school nationals. He continued to wrestle in college, learning valuable lessons about competition, hard work, and the art of winning. He graduated as one of the top ten wrestlers nationally. In 2003, Russell had his first success as an online marketer selling a software called ZipBrander. ZipBrander was a viral marketing tool that not only drove laser-targeted traffic to your website, but helped increase backend profits, automatically. Two years later in 2005, Russell created another product selling "How To Create A Potato Gun" DVDs. This was a simple instructional course, where buyers had an option to purchase his potato gun kit (which included all the needed supplies) as an upsell. These initial products launched Russell into the world of Internet Marketing, where he quickly became one of the top marketing minds in the world. Within a year of graduating college, he’d made his first million dollars selling his products.Russell sold everything from shakes and supplements, to coaching, books, consulting, coupons, t-shirts, technology services, and software. He reached top ranking status in several network marketing companies, winning a Ferrari and generating 1.5 million leads in just six weeks. The limitations and obstacles Russell encountered with the technology required to bring his sales funnels to life, became the birthplace of the idea for his software company, ClickFunnels. Together with his partner Todd Dickerson, Russell launched their sales funnel software in October 2014, and the company grew to $100,000,000 in the first three years. Currently, ClickFunnels has over 100,000 active users.ClickFunnels is now the fastest-growing non-venture backed software company in the world. With a following of over a million entrepreneurs, he’s published and sold over 400,000 copies of his marketing books, popularized the concept of sales funnels, and helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs quickly get their message out to the marketplace. As of 2020, Russell’s training, teaching, and software has created 728 millionaires who are in his exclusive club called the Two Comma Club.More InformationLearn more about how you can improve your results with your free copy of Traffic Secrets, just pay shipping at link.fadeinnetwork.com/russellThanks for Tuning In!Thanks so much for being with us this week. In this episode, Sinistarr discusses finding inspiration and creatively priming your brain.Episode Title: "Capturing Human Emotion In Nightlife"About SinistarrJeremy Howard, aka Sinistarr, is truly one of the most interesting and exciting names to hit the underground dance music world this past decade. He has become known as an innovative and consistent producer and a skilled and adventurous DJ, and his sound isan authentic extension of his soul and the pure talent that Jeremy possesses, deftly exploring the soul of yesteryear with a modern context. This sound represents his life living in and around his hometown of Detroit, MI and his collective travels around the world. His creativity defies genres, and sees him infuse his unique sound into a broad range of tempos and vibes. He is equally at home writing emotive headphone music, or in-your-face dance-floor cuts.Jeremy began his movement deeply rooted in the world of Drum & Bass, having releases on legendary labels like Metalheadz Platinum, Renegade Hardware and Creative Source. He continued over the years to evolve his sound as his own prowess as a producer grew, eventually branching out into many different tempos, still maintaining his unique sound exploring the realms of Footwork, Jungle and Techno. Recently he has seen releases on labels like Tectonic, Hospital, Loose Squares and most notably, the 70th release on dBridge’s iconic imprint Exit Records. He has shared the stage with and been supported musically by some of the biggest names in the game like Machinedrum, Fabio, Ivy Lab, Om Unit, Sam Binga, Rockwell & Dabrye to name but a handful. His sounds have been heard all over Rinse FM, NTS, FM Xtra and BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra and he turned in a DNB60 mix for Friction’s quintessential Drum & Bass show.Sinistarr has been increasingly touring and hitting major clubs and festivals like SXSW (Texas), Secret Solstice (Iceland), Tresor (Berlin), Oil Club (China), Bass Coast (Canada), and many more around the world. There is seemingly no obstacle too high for him, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to watch his amazing journey. Thanks for Tuning In!Thanks so much for being with us this week. At the age of eight, he was already playing drums in a band with his father Doc Jeffers and older brother Michael. A year later, Jeffers switched to guitar when he and his brother formed Raney Nickel, a country top-40 band. They played fairs, festivals, and theme parks throughout East Tennessee (including dates at Dollywood). After high school, Jeffers moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University where he later would receive a scholarship. He double-majored in music business and marketing. When he wasn’t in class, Jeffers spent his time interning/working at Starstruck Entertainment, Reba McEntire’s in-house company which handled her booking, management, publishing, promotion and touring. It was a one in a million opportunity for him to learn everything about the music business from the ground up, and he used the time working on his songwriting, pitching songs and recording.Shortly after graduation, Jeffers was hired by Canadian country act The Wilkinsons as their Dobro and acoustic guitar player. Two years later, he came off the road to focus on his own group, Pinmonkey, an acoustic country/bluegrass-flavored band that was attracting considerable notice along Music Row. RCA Records signed Pinmonkey and in 2002, released the group’s first single, “Barbed Wire and Roses.” The song reached #25 on Billboard’s country chart, but despite critical acclaim and a loyal fan base, RCA eventually dropped the act without a second album.More InformationLearn more about how you can improve your results to make it in music with Chad Jeffershttps://www.chadjeffers.comMaking It In Music Links & Mentions From This Episode:https://www.backstagenotes.comThanks for Tuning In!Thanks so much for being with us this week. In this, the 20th episode of the podcast, I give an introduction to the first city in the Russian Cities History Project series.  Kazan' is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, but in the past it was the centre of the Kazan' Khanate until Ivan the Terrible conquered it in 1552.  Kazan' is a very interesting city, most notably due to its mix of Russian Muslim and Russian European cultures.  This has caused some to describe Kazan' as a bridge "between East and West." Hosted by Edmund Lee, President & CEO of the Caylum Trading Institute, Short Stops is your weekly stock market update featuring the top trading news, tips and stock picks in Metro Manila and around the world. “You make sacrifices day in and day out to learn and improve, not knowing when success will come but you have to take the short term loss for a longer term gain.” - Tonino Gonzaga We’re not here to talk about trading today - you have been warned. We’re here to delve into the minds of professional athletes and to find out what kind of conditioning it takes to achieve ultimate results. Dr. Brett Steenbarger, himself, wrote an article for Forbes that said, “The development of trading expertise is not so different from the development of elite performance in athletics.” Thus, we’ve brought in our star players, Kyle Dandan and Tonino Gonzaga, two of our graduates from the Caylum Recruitment Program and who are now traders under COL Financial’s Independent Financial Advisory group. So while Kyle and Tonino talk about sports, we’re going to directly translate what they have to say into terms that our professional traders can relate to: 1. It starts with passion. Trading as a career must be voluntary, not forced. You cannot opt to become a professional trader just because it is the current trend, the market is up, or because people say you can make easy cash quick. With that kind of mindset, you will be out of the game within less than a year. 2. Preparation is everything. If you’re not ready physically, mentally and emotionally to trade, you’re never going to win. 3. You need a team, a support system to improve your skills and reach that level of performance. They will hold you accountable and they will look at your trades without bias. 4. Review your tape. We’ve said it time and again - keep a record of your trades, track your profit and loss, measure your statistics. Find your best and worst setups. 5. Ang pikon, talo. Nothing to translate here - ang pikon, talo talaga. 6. Slumps happen. You cannot just give up. Continue to be religious with your routine to improve daily because even if you’re not getting the results that you want now, the process will matter in the long run. 7. Accept your role and tame the ego. The Best Trader, the Superstar, the Champion - these are nothing but titles and labels that do not define the performance of your portfolio. If someone makes a windfall profit and you miss out, or others are particularly stronger when it comes to momentum plays and speculation, that doesn’t make you any less of a trader. The only person you have to compete against is yourself. Get your next trading insight and find your baggers right here on Short Stops. Powered by the Caylum Trading Institute.

Then you have to believe that the market will eventually agree with you. Because if you’re right and the market never agrees with you, you still lose money.” - Joel Litman Having been published in the Harvard Business Review for his piece entitled, "Give My Regrets to Wall Street" and as a top contributor of Seeking Alpha, Joel Litman has spent his career as a financial analyst reviewing thousands of reports in order to find the best companies that can bring his clients the highest value for their investment. Short Stops - #31: Where The Money Flows (How Sentiment & Foreign Funds Affect the PH Market)

Hosted by Edmund Lee, President & CEO of the Caylum Trading Institute, Short Stops is your weekly stock market update featuring the top trading news, tips and stock picks in Metro Manila and around the world. "I can’t really blame most traders. In a bull market, no one cares about sentiment because almost everything you buy goes up. It’s only when the market turns around when people starting saying - oh, ok, there's something I don't know.” - Mark Jason Mariposa, CFA Sentiment is an element of market timing that is often taken for granted. But the strength or weakness of our market relies on that very aspect and sentiment determines why global funds are either pushed into or pulled out of the local environment. They can fuel a rally or incite a major correction. For our first podcast of the year, we've called back our Macro-guy, Jason Mariposa, and Head of Caylum Research, Zarr Pacificador, to explain to us the following: - Why foreign funds move the way they do between developed and emerging markets - How greatly is the Philippine market affected by fund flows? - What role does sentiment play? - What is the current status of foreign funds in the Philippines? - Looking forward into 2019, what strategies and types of companies should we be focusing on? Hosted by Edmund Lee, President & CEO of the Caylum Trading Institute, Short Stops is your weekly stock market update featuring the top trading news, tips and stock picks in Metro Manila and around the world. "A prediction about the direction of the stock market tells you nothing about where stocks are headed, but a whole lot about the person doing the predicting." - Warren Buffett For almost 29 episodes, everyone who has contributed to Short Stops has done their best to provide a professional, educated and informed analysis on what we believe are the potential outcomes of stocks and opportunities available in the market for our audiences. So to commemorate our last episode for 2018 and our 30th one to date, Caylum is going chill, relax and do something a little different this time around. Eleanore Lee-Teo is pulling the reigns on this fun mix of familiar candidates to host a friendly competition amongst the team members. With only a few hours to prepare, every contestant that you will hear on this podcast will be tasked to answer the same question: "What do you predict will happen in 2019?" All answers were required to be related to stocks, the economy or business and we are putting their responses to the record so that we can review the tape back in December of 2019 to find out if any of them actually came true. A profound explanation was necessary to validate their predictions and the result is a pool of sometimes-rational and sometimes-outrageous ideas on this show. DISCLAIMER: These should not be considered stock tips or recommendations of any sort. While all the information and facts presented are true, the team was allowed to inject their own personal bias into their opinions which is what most people who claim they can predict the stock market actually do. This is our way of celebrating 2018 despite the market giving us few reasons to rejoice so hopefully we can bring some joy and cheer to our listeners with this one. "If you're going to speculate, then know the rules - this is not an investment. When the story is over, the trade is done. If you're still holding onto it after people have stopped talking about it, this is not going to end happily ever after." Let's face the facts. As active traders, we know that there is huge money to be made in trading speculative stocks and the opportunity loss is significant if you don't try to understand how it works. But we also know the difference between riding stocks in play and blindly gambling in the market. So to give you a peek into how the house approaches these kind of trades, we've brought back Bryan Gomez and Terence Chan to share their experiences with the following: - What is the origin of a speculative issue? - What factors define a speculative stock? - Which are the primary indicators that can be used to measure them? - Speculation is a short-term play. It’s not even about just “knowing when it get out”. It’s about “knowing that you need to get out” before everyone else. Get your next trading insight and find your baggers right here on Short Stops. "You can't use your P&L as the only basis as to whether you are a good trader or not. You might make a lot of money on one trade doing something that you're not supposed to but over time, your weakness will start to show. There's no hiding from consistency." - Carlton Bryan You didn't think we were going to leave it at just one podcast, did you? In an off-the-cuff interview, our Director of Marketing & Operations, Eleanore Lee Teo, met up with Carlton Bryan, Floor Manager at SMB Capital, to discuss his almost decade-long journey with the firm. - Overtrading - the most common challenge all new players face
 - Why you don't need to be involved in every single trade or setup out there
- The Value of Risk Management - "If you don't know how much money you could potentially lose with every trade, don't bother trading."
- Knowing how to scale in and scale out is what separates the amateurs from the professionals

Marking the 50th anniversary of the dramatic year of 1968 (which also saw the election of President Nixon), on this edition of the Nixon Now Podcast we interviewed Richard Vinen for his newly released book "1968: Radical Protest and Its Enemies,” which explores how the events of 1968 — from anti-war marches, worker strikes to violence on the streets of the world's greatest cities — shaped much of today’s culture. Richard Vinen is Professor of History at Kings College, London and the author of a number of major books on 20th Century Europe. He won the Wolfson Prize for history for his previous book, "National Service." Photo: Students flash peace signs during protests at Columbia University.(Patrick A. Burns/The New York Times). DO INDIE GAMES MAKE LIFE BETTER? You bet your sweet ass they do! Welcome back to Weak Points. A shorter format (?!) podcast that focuses in on specific topics. This episode the original crew from episode one is back! It's more indie games that we love! Mark, Tony, and Dieter each bring three of their beloved indies to discuss and explore with each other while simultaneously firing off predictable dick jokes, witty interpersonal verbal insults, and the unavoidable dread and realization that we are adults now. We have spent our youth and now we face the back half of life where nothing is new and the pains multiply. Each of us knows that death is starting to get scarily close. In the back of our minds, everyday, there's a voice that gets louder and harder to ignore. It says, simply, "you are going to die". For some of us, maybe that day is coming soon. WHOA, THAT GOT DARK No shit. Welcome to being an adult. I mean really, the luckiest of us might have 40 more years before it's over. But is that truly what you would call lucky? Watching all of your friends and loved ones die? Your body slowly revolting against you until your existence finally fully compromises, robbing your mind of its last incredibly sad and lonely thought? No. That's not luck. But you know, we all gotta go sometime, so why the fuck not get silly and talk about the few things in life that make us happy!? INDIE GAMES! WHOA, YOU MADE IT NOT SO DARK I had to. I realized I was being a cynical Cyndi by saying awful things with a wink and a smile. Not everyone gets that I'm joking by magnifying the self aware mortality. I was. It also proves a point about what it means to be an adult gamer, and in turn illustrates how important an amazing game can have on your mental health. Besides, I already wrote the turnaround to end the last paragraph, so lets focus on our favorite interactive joys we brought to the table today. Let's turn up the mirth in this bitch and get down to business! SO, YOU EACH PICKED THREE GAMES...? Yup. The title of this episode is more indie games that we love. And we all take turns like nice boys. I'm not going to list them here, but if you must peek ahead and spoil yourself, you can always peek at the music credits below. I wouldn't do that, though. Why ruin the surprise? If you keep cheating yourself of these simple joys, that voice in the back of your head gets louder. Don't make it louder, enjoy your life and this long overdue episode of Weak Points. We truly love you. Rate us five stars on iTunes and give us money.
