Jackson Warne is the son of the late legend Shane Warne. Seit dem 13. August sind auf dem Streaming-Dienst Disney+ die ersten beiden Folgen der brandneuen Serie Alien: Earth verfügbar. Dabei handelt es sich um eine weitere Geschichte aus dem von Regisseur Ridley Scott etablierten "Alien-Kosmos", bei der es uns – wie der Serientitel bereits impliziert – weniger ins All als vielmehr auf die Erde verschlägt. Inhaltlich geht es um Androiden, Cyborgs, Hybriden, die Weyland-Yutani-Corporation und außerirdisches Leben spielt ebenfalls eine Rolle. Und da sowohl Thomas, Jacko als auch DingDong große Fans des Alien-Franchises sind, ist Alien: Earth für sie natürlich Pflichtprogramm. Das geht sogar so weit, dass selbst Jacko, der eigentlich überhaupt keine Serien schaut, von dem Serienformat wie eine Motte vom Licht angezogen wurde. Ob die drei passionierten Spacejockeys mit den ersten beiden Folgen zufrieden waren oder ob es Grund zum Meckern gab, erfahrt ihr in dieser "Sonderfolge" von Watch the Skies. Viel Spaß!
