A PALAVRA FINAL 1. JESUS TEM A PALAVRA FINAL QUE TRAZ PAZ. 22 Certo dia Jesus disse aos seus discípulos: “Vamos para o outro lado do lago”. Eles entraram num barco e partiram. 23 Enquanto navegavam, ele adormeceu. Abateu-se sobre o lago um forte vendaval, de modo que o barco estava sendo inundado, e eles corriam grande perigo. 24 Os discípulos foram acordá-lo, clamando: “Mestre, Mestre, vamos morrer!” Ele se levantou e repreendeu o vento e a violência das águas; tudo se acalmou e ficou tranquilo. 25 “Onde está a sua fé?”, perguntou ele aos seus discípulos. Amedrontados e admirados, eles perguntaram uns aos outros: “Quem é este que até aos ventos e às águas dá ordens, e eles lhe obedecem?” (Lucas 8:22-25 NVI) 2. JESUS TEM A PALAVRA FINAL QUE TRAZ LIBERDADE. 26 Navegaram para a região dos gerasenos, que fica do outro lado do lago, frente à Galiléia. 27 Quando Jesus pisou em terra, foi ao encontro dele um endemoninhado daquela cidade. Fazia muito tempo que aquele homem não usava roupas, nem vivia em casa alguma, mas nos sepulcros. 28 Quando viu Jesus, gritou, prostrou-se aos seus pés e disse em alta voz: “Que queres comigo, Jesus, Filho do Deus Altíssimo? Rogo-te que não me atormentes!” 29 Pois Jesus havia ordenado que o espírito imundo saísse daquele homem. Muitas vezes ele tinha se apoderado dele. Mesmo com os pés e as mãos acorrentados e entregue aos cuidados de guardas, quebrava as correntes, e era levado pelo demônio a lugares solitários.  30 Jesus lhe perguntou: “Qual é o seu nome?”  “Legião”, respondeu ele; porque muitos demônios haviam entrado nele. 31 E imploravam-lhe que não os mandasse para o Abismo.  32 Uma grande manada de porcos estava pastando naquela colina. Os demônios imploraram a Jesus que lhes permitisse entrar neles, e Jesus lhes deu permissão. 33 Saindo do homem, os demônios entraram nos porcos, e toda a manada atirou-se precipício abaixo em direção ao lago e se afogou.  (Lucas 8:26-33 NVI) 3. JESUS TEM A PALAVRA FINAL QUE TRAZ CURA. Estando Jesus a caminho, a multidão o comprimia. 43 E estava ali certa mulher que havia doze anos vinha sofrendo de hemorragia e gastara tudo o que tinha com os médicos; mas ninguém pudera curá-la.44 Ela chegou por trás dele, tocou na borda de seu manto, e imediatamente cessou sua hemorragia.  45 “Quem tocou em mim?”, perguntou Jesus.  Como todos negassem, Pedro disse: “Mestre, a multidão se aglomera e te comprime”.  46 Mas Jesus disse: “Alguém tocou em mim; eu sei que de mim saiu poder”.  47 Então a mulher, vendo que não conseguiria passar despercebida, veio tremendo e prostrou-se aos seus pés. Rogo-vos, irmãos, pelo nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que faleis todos a mesma coisa e que não haja entre vós divisões; antes, sejais inteiramente unidos, na mesma disposição mental e no mesmo parecer. (1Co 1.10)Uma igreja unida no Evangelho será uma igreja saudável. E nada corrói uma igreja tão rápido quanto a divisão.Sempre foi assim para o povo de Deus. Em seus maiores momentos, vemos uma grande unidade. Por exemplo, depois de retornar do exílio na Babilônia, afirma-se em Neemias 8, os israelitas se reuniram com expectativa, “como um só homem”, para ouvir a pregação pública de Esdras, o sacerdote, do Livro da Lei (Ne 8.1). Naquele momento, quase cinco mil homens e mulheres foram à praça pública diante da Porta das Águas em um espírito de unidade e compromisso mútuo de adoração. Seu foco não era simplesmente “O que estou recebendo deste ensinamento?”, mas: “O que estou contribuindo para meus irmãos e irmãs que se reuniram comigo?”É assim que o povo de Deus deve sempre adorar, para que haja unidade entre nós.Quando estamos verdadeiramente andando com Cristo, ansiaremos por adorar comunitariamente com as pessoas que amam a Cristo. Embora nossa motivação às vezes possa murchar, com a ajuda do Espírito Santo é possível compartilhar o espírito de adoração do salmista: “Alegrei-me quando me disseram: Vamos à Casa do Senhor” (Sl 122.1). O culto da igreja reunida é muito mais do que um evento para você participar ou suportar; é uma declaração de lealdade compartilhada ao nosso Rei e um poderoso lembrete da profunda unidade que o povo de Deus desfruta.Dentro de nossas congregações, não concordamos e nem sempre concordaremos. Todos nós temos preferências e convicções individuais. Porém, no centro da membresia na família de Deus, deve haver unanimidade em relação a questões centrais de nossa fé — questões como a autoridade da Bíblia, a centralidade e preeminência de Jesus, a necessidade de evangelismo e a prioridade da oração e adoração em nossa vida diária. Essas convicções compartilhadas permitem que o povo de Deus se reúna em unidade. Portanto, embora o humor do púlpito, a bela música e os programas significativos para as famílias possam ser presentes do Senhor, eles não devem ser nossa prioridade. Em vez disso, devemos estar em oração por nossos parceiros santos enquanto procuramos adorar juntos em unidade, pedindo que o avivamento venha de nosso próprio desejo de ouvir a Palavra de Deus pregada em verdade.Afinal, quando uma congregação estiver em expectativa em constante oração, Deus certamente fará o que prometeu fazer por meio de sua Palavra. É fácil ter uma abordagem “eu em primeiro lugar” para a igreja e ser rápido para criticar — fácil, mas corrosivo. Certifique-se, no próximo domingo, de que você não está lá apenas para si mesmo, mas para os outros, e que você está pronto para construir e sustentar sua unidade compartilhada em como você canta e se comunica.

Tudo o que somos, tudo o que pensamos, tudo o que sentimos, tudo o que fazemos e tudo o que sabemos — oferecermos isso ao Deus que deu seu Filho por nós é a única resposta lógica à sua misericórdia. Quando nos entregamos plenamente a Deus, todas as nossas capacidades, por mais limitadas que sejam, podem ser usadas para sua glória e para os seus propósitos. A vida cristã não tem a opção de meias medidas ou ressalvas. É uma vida de completo comprometimento.Há algo glorioso sobre o tipo de compromisso que diz: “Estou depositando tudo de mim”. Se você for com tudo, não há limite para o que acontecerá dentro e através de você. Você será o tipo de pessoa que pode dizer: “Jesus Cristo me possui por inteiro”?
