Apologies, the first 16 mins had tech issues, so we went a bit old school. To make it up we made the episode almost an hour long.In this episode of Hypotheticals, the hosts dive into the current state of the NBA, discussing the struggles of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks' performance, and the rise of the Oklahoma City Thunder. They also explore the chaos surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers and the uncertain future of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The significance of the NBA Cup is debated, and the episode features a unique segment on NBA poetry, concluding with Agent Cody Bank; a fun pitch for players in the league.Chapters00:00 Introduction to the Conversation01:37 Heat Check: Dallas Mavs are Good??03:49 Lakers Haters Nightmare Fuel: The Lakers are Good!05:52 Spurs Good WITHOUT Wemby08:23 Is OKC the New '15/'16 Golden State Warriors10:35 Timberwolves Cold Start12:46 Are the Clippers the Worst Team Ever with 5 HOF Players?15:37 Cleveland Cavaliers' Struggles17:49 Milwaukee Bucks' Downward Spiral19:08 Bucks 1 Month Ago (5th seed) vs Now (10th Seed)21:28 Analyzing Player Performances and Coaching Decisions24:10 Giannis Antetokounmpo's Future with the Bucks27:11 Trade Rumors and Team Dynamics29:55 Conspiracy Theories Surrounding Giannis' Future38:38 Trade Talks and Team Dynamics42:47 Worst Fake: Unscripted Basketball Opinions43:36 Letting CP3 Go was the Best Thing for the Clippers' Season46:10 Why the Raptors are the Dark Horse in the East50:04 Rhyme Out: Poetry in the NBA54:37 Agent Cody Bank: Pitching Players for Contracts

It’s August, and a show of hands in an auditorium filled with 300 students at All Saints Anglican School in Australia shows that few of the Grade 9 and 10 students sitting in plush red seats had heard of the country’s impending ban on social media, much less how to prepare for it. Rosemont police said they found no video evidence that actress Tara Reid's drink was tampered with at a hotel bar in the alleged drugging investigation. Reid filed a police report last month after talking to detectives. The actress said she was drugged at a hotel bar in Rosemont. The 3WHH is a man down this week as John was unavailable, so Steve and Lucretia soldiered on without his ritual abuse of their superior taste in political philosophy, prudence, and natural law. And in the best fashion of Helen Andrews, Steve ran the episode even though it was Lucretia's turn on the host rotation calendar. We could have called this episode "Revenge of the Manosphere."Steve and Lucretia consider a few news headlines, and some major stories conspicuously not making headlines* (such as the Houise investigation of the White House conspiracy to cover up Joe Biden's senility), who Bill Kristol supports in the NY City mayor's race (you'll never guess), whether the climate cult is over, and alarm bells about rising anti-Israel sentiment among young conservatives. (We recorded before the Kevin Roberts video went live, however.)And then we arrive at the main topic of the day: Lucretia defending herself against charges of "lookism." Steve enlists an expert witness: the great Taki Theodoracopulos, who wrote way back in 1981 that American women were the ugliest in the world. Seems like the perfect topic for the week when the world discovered the Jennifer Welch, the Democrats' newest It-Girl. (And naturally, the exit music this week is "Ugly Women," by country musician Grant Langston.)* Yes, that sentence is a sly reference to a light bulb joke: How many Straussians does it take to change a light bulb? None: the light is made conspicuous by its absence. (IYKYK, otherwise you don't get Plato.)
This week's episode is a full-on culture check:• Tami Roman keeps Jazz's girlfriend off the graduation list and we're unpacking why.• Snoop just made a kids' song called Love Is Love after getting called out — we talk about that pivot.• Scrappy gets vulnerable about growing up in a pimp mansion with Mama Dee and why he still carries that.Tune in. You know we keep it real.
This week on Second Helpings, Jackie and MJ are talkin' 'bout the death of the showmances from Wicked, including Cynthia and Ariana if the DWTS appearance for Wicked Night was as awkward as it seemed on TV, and Jackie witnessed the healing power of the 2006 film "She's the Man" as she starts preparing for her "special moment" in her choir performance. Alan Hamel made an obvious AI powered sex bot of Suzanne Somers because he will not let her rest in peace, Kim Kardashian was on "Call Her Daddy" and proved she's closer to Lucille Bluth than ever before and then pays tribute to The Faceless's 2017 album "In Becoming a Ghost" at the "Academy Museum Gala". Jackie didn't like "Black Phone 2", and speaking of spooky movies MJ's watched "Shadow of the Vampire" as well as the soul crushing documentary "the Perfect Neighbor." Then it's time for DWTS chat, including Jackie eatin' that Topanga hate, the Pentatonix dude leaving, and Andy Richter somehow still sticking around, all that and more on this week's Second Helpings!!Want even more Page 7? Another rough loss to South Carolina where things got out of hand for the Cats. Now it's on to Athens to face the dawgs after a loss, the first of a string of tough games in the month of October. That's how it is in the SEC week in and week out. Add in the fact that the offense has lots of challenges to overcome. Vinny and Cole dive into all of it and talk a lil Reds and MLB Playoffs too. #bbn #kentucky Rate, reviews and subscribe! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Knicks are interviewing Mike Brown and Taylor Jenkins for their head coaching vacancy, with one caller criticizing Leon Rose for the team's current state and another suggesting Jay Wright, though he's not a candidate. Meanwhile, the Yankees were swept in Boston, a series that saw Rafael Devers traded to the Giants after homering. The Mets also suffered a three-game losing streak, fulfilling Mike Francesa's prediction to Frank The Tank, and now head to Atlanta. In other sports news, JJ Spaun won the US Open, and Fanatics selected 50 regular people to compete against professional athletes. A caller also proposed Allan Houston or John Starks as potential Knicks coaches.
